Title:A Naturalness motivated Top Yukawa Model for the Composite Higgs
View PDFAbstract:The top quark leads to the dominant quantum correction to the Higgs quadratic term, which is usually canceled by top partners in traditional symmetry-based models. However, the absence of light top partners starts challenging the Naturalness of these models. In this paper, we study a model based on composite Higss with the top Yukawa coupling originating from dim-6 four-fermion operators. The low cutoff scale of the top quark loop required by the Naturalness principle can be realized with a light gauge boson $E_\mu$ which connects the hyperfermions and top quarks. A scalar-less dynamical model with weakly coupled extended $SU(4)_{EC}$ group is presented. The model features a light $E_\mu$ gauge boson and a third-generation-philic $Z'_E$ boson, which leads to a rich phenomenology, especially on the top quark physics.
