Title:A Generic Message Authentication Code: A combination of the Inter MAC and Carter-Wegman MAC
View PDFAbstract:Message Authentication Code (MAC) is a method for providing integrity and authenticity assurances on the message by allowing the receiver to detect any changes to the message content. In this paper, we present a generic MAC named InterCW-MAC which can prevent replay attack and can deal with a untrusted receiver who may search the secret keys of the sender.
