Influence of the vertical closed orbit distortions on accuracy of the energy calibration done by resonant depolarization technique
Abstract: The series of the experiments on precise mass measurement of $J/Ψ$-, $Ψ'$- mesons have been performed in 2002-2004. Energy calibration has been done with the help of the resonant depolarization technique. The present paper discusses the influence of the vertical orbit distortions on the accuracy of the energy calibration. The sources of the orbit distortions are misalignments of the quadrupoles an… ▽ More

Crossing integer spin resonance at VEPP-4M with conservation of beam polarization
Abstract: A method proposed to preserve the electron beam polarization at the VEPP-4M collider during acceleration with crossing the integer (imperfection) spin resonance at energy E=1763 MeV has been successfully applied. It is based on full decompensation of the $ 0.6\times3.3$ Tesla$\times$meter integral of the KEDR detector longitudinal magnetic field due to the anti-solenoids 'switched-off'.

The beam energy measurement system for the Bei**g electron-positron collider
Abstract: The beam energy measurement system (BEMS) for the upgraded Bei**g electron-positron collider BEPC-II is described. The system is based on measuring the energies of Compton back-scattered photons. The relative systematic uncertainty of the electron and positron beam energy determination is estimated as 2 \cdot 10^{-5}. The relative uncertainty of the beam's energy spread is about 6 %.
