Radiative corrections of the order $α\,(Z\,α)^6$ for rotational states of two-body systems
Abstract: The analytical calculation of the complete $α\,(Z\,α)^6$ one-loop radiative correction to energies of two-body systems with the angular momenta $l>0$, consisting of a pointlike particle and an extended-size nucleus with arbitrary masses and spin 1/2, is presented. Finite nuclear mass correction to the hyperfine splitting in hydrogenic systems
Abstract: A general quantum electrodynamic method for derivation of nuclear recoil corrections in hydrogenic systems, which are exact in the nuclear charge parameter $Z\,α$, is introduced. The exemplary derivation is presented for the $O(m/M)$ nuclear pure recoil correction to the hyperfine splitting. The obtained result is verified by comparison to the known $(Z\,α)^5$ contribution

Nuclear magnetic shielding in heliumlike ions
Abstract: Ab initio QED calculations of the nuclear magnetic shielding constant in helium-like ions are presented. We combine the nonrelativistic QED approach based on an expansion in powers of the fine-structure constant $α$ and the so-called ``all-order'' QED approach which includes all orders in the parameter $Zα$ but uses a perturbation expansion in the parameter $1/Z$ (where $Z$ is the nuclear charge n… ▽ More

Integrals for relativistic nonadiabatic energies of H$_2$ in exponential basis

While nonrelativistic theory has been effectively formulated this way, calculation of relativistic and quantum electrodynamic effects using an exponential basis with explicit correlations that ensure well-controlled numerical precision is much more challenging. Nonadiabatic QED correction to the dissociation energy of the hydrogen molecule
Abstract: The quantum electrodynamic correction to the energy of the hydrogen molecule has been evaluated without expansion in the electron-proton mass ratio. The obtained results significantly improve the accuracy of theoretical predictions reaching the level of 1 MHz for the dissociation energy, in a very good agreement with the parallel measurement [Hölsch et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 122, 103002 (2019)]. Mo… ▽ More

Nuclear-structure corrections to the hyperfine splitting in muonic deuterium
Abstract: Nuclear structure corrections of orders $Zα\, E_F$ and $(Zα)^2 E_F$ are calculated for the hyperfine splitting of the muonic deuterium. The obtained results disagree with previous calculations and lead to a $5\,σ$ disagreement with the current experimental value of the $2S$ hyperfine splitting in $μ$D.

Nonadiabatic relativistic correction in H$_2$, D$_2$, and HD
Abstract: We calculate the nonadiabatic relativistic correction to rovibrational energy levels of H$_2$, D$_2$, and HD molecules using the nonadiabatic perturbation theory. This approach allows one to obtain nonadiabatic corrections to all the molecular levels with the help of a single effective potential. The obtained results are in very good agreement with the previous direct calculation of nonadiabatic r… ▽ More

Theory of the Lamb shift in hydrogen and light hydrogen-like ions
Abstract: Theoretical calculations of the Lamb shift provide the basis required for the determination of the Rydberg constant from spectroscopic measurements in hydrogen. The recent high-precision determination of the proton charge radius drastically reduced the uncertainty in the hydrogen Lamb shift originating from the proton size. As a result, the dominant theoretical uncertainty now comes from the two-… ▽ More

Relativistic corrections to the Bethe logarithm for the $2^3S$ and $2^3P$ states of He
Abstract: With this work we start a project of calculating the QED contribution of order $α^7m$ to the $2^3P$-$2^3S$ transition energy in helium, aiming for an accurate determination of the nuclear charge radius $r_E$ from measurements of the corresponding transition frequency. Together with the complementary determination of $r_E$ from muonic helium, this project will provide a stringent test of universali… ▽ More

Three-photon exchange nuclear structure correction in hydrogenic systems
Abstract: The complete relativistic $O(α^2)$ nuclear structure correction to the energy levels of ordinary (electronic) and muonic hydrogen-like atoms is investigated. The elastic part of the nuclear structure correction is derived analytically. The resulting formula is valid for an arbitrary hydrogenic system and is much simpler than analogous expressions previously reported in the literature. The analytic… ▽ More

Toward a determination of the proton-electron mass ratio from the Lamb-dip measurement of HD
Abstract: Precision spectroscopy of the hydrogen molecule is a test ground of quantum electrodynamics (QED), and may serve for determination of fundamental constants. Using a comb-locked cavity ring-down spectrometer, for the first time, we observed the Lamb-dip spectrum of the R(1) line in the overtone of HD. The line position was determined to be 217 105 182.79 $\pm0.03_{stat}\pm0.08_{syst}$ MHz (… ▽ More
