Abstract: We suggest a technique for using off-resonance spectral comb generation to produce broadband frequency modulated, and therefore, amplitude quieted light. Results include closed-form formulae for the amplitudes and phases of all of the spectral components. Hiding Single Photons With Spread Spectrum Technology

Abstract: We describe a proof-of-principal experiment demonstrating the use of spread spectrum technology at the single photon level. We show how single photons with a prescribed temporal shape, in the presence of interfering noise, may be hidden and recovered.
