We compute the gravitational form factors $A_i$, $D_i$ and $\bar c_i$ of the scalar Yukawa theory using both the light-cone and covariant perturbation theory at the one-loop level. The light-cone formalism provides a potential approach to access these form factors beyond the perturbative regime. However, unlike the covariant formulation, the Poincaré symmetry on the light cone is not manifest. In this work, we use perturbation theory as a benchmark to extract the gravitational form factors from the light-front energy-momentum tensor. By comparing results on and off the light cone, we identify $T^{++}, T^{+a}, T^{+-}, T^{12}$ as the "good currents" that are properly renormalized and can be used to extract the gravitational form factors.

The static properties and dynamic evolution of bottomonium states in a hot QCD medium are investigated through the Schrödinger equation with complex heavy quark potentials, which are presented recently in lattice QCD study and with three different extractions. This approach builds a direct connection between the in-medium heavy quark potentials from the lattice QCD to the experimental observables. The yields and nuclear modification factors $R_{AA}$ of bottomonium in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02~\rm TeV$ are calculated in this work. Our results show a large suppression of the bottomonium yield in heavy ion collisions due to the large imaginary potential. To understand bottomonium $R_{AA}$ based on lattice QCD potentials, we propose a fomration time for bottomonium states and find that experimental data can be well explained with the heavy quark potential extracted by the Padé fit, which shows no color screening in the real part potential.

In the C-loop simulation, the parton-parton inelastic scattering processes are added in the partonic rescattering process. The single string structure and multiple string interaction mechanism have been introduced investigating the strangeness enhancement in C- and B-loop. An improved map** relation between the centrality percentage definition and the impact parameter definition is proposed responding the observation of $b_{max}\approx 20$ fm from ALICE, ATLAS, and CMS collaborations. We have extensively modified the phenomenological coalescence hadronization model. The PACIAE 3.0 model simulated results of particle yield, transverse momentum distribution, and rapidity distribution well reproduce, respectively, the experimental data measured at FOPI, E895, RHIC, and LHC energies.

Heavy ion collisions provide a unique opportunity for studying the properties of exotic hadrons with two charm quarks. The production of $T_{cc}^+$ is significantly enhanced in nuclear collisions compared to proton-proton collisions due to the creation of multiple charm pairs. In this study, we employ the Langevin equation in combination with the Instantaneous Coalescence Model (LICM) to investigate the production of $T_{cc}^+$ and $Ξ_{cc}^{++}$ which consists of two charm quarks. We consider $T_{cc}^+$ as molecular states composed of $D$ and $D^*$ mesons. The Langevin equation is used to calculate the energy loss of charm quarks and $D$ mesons in the hot medium. The hadronization process, where charm quarks transform into each $D$ state as constituents of $T_{cc}^+$ production, is described using the coalescence model. The coalescence probability between $D$ and $D^*$ is determined by the Wigner function, which encodes the information of the $T_{cc}^+$ wave function. Our results show that the $T_{cc}^+$ production varies by approximately one order of magnitude when different widths in the Wigner function, representing distinct binding energies of $T_{cc}^+$, are considered. This variation offers valuable insights into the nature of $T_{cc}^+$ through the analysis of its wave function. The $Ξ_{cc}^{++}$ is treated as a hadronic state produced at the hadronization of the deconfined matter. Its production is also calculated as a comparison with the molecular state $T_{cc}^+$.

No significant $H$-dibaryon signal is observed in the $Ξ^-p$ final state. This is the first study of hyperon-nucleon interactions in electron-positron collisions and opens up a new direction for such research.

Numerical difficulties associated with computing matrix elements of operators between Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (HFB) wavefunctions have plagued the development of HFB-based many-body theories for decades. The problem arises from divisions by zero in the standard formulation of the nonorthogonal Wick's theorem in the limit of vanishing HFB overlap. In this paper, we present a robust formulation of Wick's theorem that stays well-behaved regardless of whether the HFB states are orthogonal or not. This new formulation ensures cancellation between the zeros of the overlap and the poles of the Pfaffian, which appears naturally in fermionic systems. Our formula explicitly eliminates self-interaction, which otherwise causes additional numerical challenges. A computationally efficient version of our formalism enables robust symmetry-projected HFB calculations with the same computational cost as mean-field theories. Moreover, we avoid potentially diverging normalization factors by introducing a robust normalization procedure. The resulting formalism treats even and odd number of particles on equal footing and reduces to Hartree-Fock as a natural limit. As proof of concept, we present a numerically stable and accurate solution to a Jordan-Wigner-transformed Hamiltonian, whose singularities motivated the present work. Our robust formulation of Wick's theorem is a most promising development for methods using quasiparticle vacuum states.

The $χ_{c 1}(3872)$/$ψ(2S)$ cross-section ratio from beauty-hadron decays (non-prompt) based on the $χ_{c 1}(3872)$ or $ψ(2S)\to J/ψ{π^+}{π^-}$ bound state in the decay chains as a function of charged-particle multiplicity and transverse momentum in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8\,\mathrm{TeV}$ are calculated. A tetraquark state scenario from PACIAE+DCPC model shows better agreement with the LHCb and ATLAS measurements for the non-prompt $χ_{c 1}(3872)$/$ψ(2S)$ cross-section ratio distributions, indicating that the $χ_{c 1}(3872)$ is more likely to be a compact tetraquark state.

Meanwhile the PACIAE program is updated to a new version of PACIAE 2.2.2 with convenience of studying the elementary nuclear collisions, proton-nucleus collisions, and the nucleus-nucleus collisions in one unified program version. The new impact parameter definition together with the optical Glauber model calculated impact parameter bin, $N_{part}$, and $N_{coll}$ in proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions at relativistic energies are consistent with the improved MC-Glauber model ones within the error bar. The charged-particle pseudorapidity and the transverse momentum distributions in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV simulated by PACIAE 2.2.2 well reproduce the ALICE experimental data.

An interesting linear scaling behavior is observed in the lepton charge asymmetry as a function of the collision system valence quark number asymmetry among the different size of nuclear collision systems at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV. This linear scaling behavior may serve as an additional constraint on the PDF (nPDF) extractions.

The binding energies and proton separation energies of nuclides with $Z, N = 30-50$ are investigated, based on the shell model with an uncertainty analysis through statistical methods. Several formulas are used to obtain the binding energies and proton separation energies according to the shell-model calculations. The non-parametric Bootstrap method is applied to establish an uncertainty decomposition and recomposition framework. Moreover, it is used to estimate the stability of proton(s) emission for each nuclide. Two formulas for calculating the binding energies with a systematic uncertainty of $\sim0.3$ MeV are proposed, and a reliable extrapolation ability is examined. These binding energy formulas deduce similar forms of respective $S_{p}$ and $S_{2p}$ energies, which predict the extension of the nuclear boundary of this region. A nice description of the binding energies and proton separation energies is provided. The one- and two-proton separation energies and partial half-lives of proton emitting are predicted, thus showing a new dripline. Besides, there are 30 unstable nuclides predicted to be bound against proton(s)-emission. These nuclear properties will be useful in nuclear astrophysics.

We develop a mechanism to build the light-front wavefunctions (LFWFs) of meson bound states on a small-sized basis function representation. Unlike in a standard Hamiltonian formalism, the Hamiltonian in this method is implicit, and the information of the system is carried directly by the functional form and adjustable parameters of the LFWFs. In this work, we model the LFWFs for four charmonium states, $η_c$, $J/ψ$, $ψ'$, and $ψ(3770)$ as superpositions of orthonormal basis functions. We choose the basis functions as eigenfunctions of an effective Hamiltonian, which has a longitudinal confining potential in addition to the transverse confining potential from light-front holographic QCD. We determine the basis function parameters and superposition coefficients by employing both guidance from the nonrelativistic description of the meson states and the experimental measurements of the meson decay widths. With the obtained wavefunctions, we study the features of those meson states, including charge radii and parton distribution functions. We use the $J/ψ$ LFWF to calculate the meson production in diffractive deep inelastic scattering and ultra-peripheral heavy-ion collisions, and the $η_c$ LFWF to calculate its diphoton transition form factor. Both results show good agreement with experiments. The obtained LFWFs have simple-functional forms and can be readily used to predict additional experimental observables.

Lepton scattering is an established ideal tool for studying inner structure of small particles such as nucleons as well as nuclei. As a future high energy nuclear physics project, an Electron-ion collider in China (EicC) has been proposed. It will be constructed based on an upgraded heavy-ion accelerator, High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF) which is currently under construction, together with a new electron ring. The proposed collider will provide highly polarized electrons (with a polarization of $\sim$80%) and protons (with a polarization of $\sim$70%) with variable center of mass energies from 15 to 20 GeV and the luminosity of (2-3) $\times$ 10$^{33}$ cm$^{-2}$ s$^{-1}$. Polarized deuterons and Helium-3, as well as unpolarized ion beams from Carbon to Uranium, will be also available at the EicC.
The main foci of the EicC will be precision measurements of the structure of the nucleon in the sea quark region, including 3D tomography of nucleon; the partonic structure of nuclei and the parton interaction with the nuclear environment; the exotic states, especially those with heavy flavor quark contents. In addition, issues fundamental to understanding the origin of mass could be addressed by measurements of heavy quarkonia near-threshold production at the EicC. In order to achieve the above-mentioned physics goals, a hermetical detector system will be constructed with cutting-edge technologies.
This document is the result of collective contributions and valuable inputs from experts across the globe. The EicC physics program complements the ongoing scientific programs at the Jefferson Laboratory and the future EIC project in the United States. The success of this project will also advance both nuclear and particle physics as well as accelerator and detector technology in China.

An excess over the known contributions of the conventional charmed mesons is observed near the $D_s^- D^{*0}$ and $D^{*-}_s D^0$ mass thresholds in the $K^{+}$ recoil-mass spectrum for events collected at $\sqrt{s}=4.681$ GeV. The structure matches a mass-dependent-width Breit-Wigner line shape, whose pole mass and width are determined as $(3982.5^{+1.8}_{-2.6}\pm2.1)$ MeV/$c^2$ and $(12.8^{+5.3}_{-4.4}\pm3.0)$ MeV, respectively. The first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The significance of the resonance hypothesis is estimated to be 5.3 $σ$ over the contributions only from the conventional charmed mesons. This is the first candidate of the charged hidden-charm tetraquark with strangeness, decaying into $D_s^- D^{*0}$ and $D^{*-}_s D^0$. However, the properties of the excess need further exploration with more statistics.

We present a systematic study on the strange and multi-strange particles production in Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{S_{NN}} = 2.76$ TeV based on the PACIAE model simulations. Two different mechanisms, namely the single string structure variations and multiple string interactions, are implemented in the simulations. These modifications give rise to an enhancement of the string tension value involved in the Lund string fragmentation framework and generate more strange particles in the hadronic final state. By comparing the simulation results with the ALICE experimental data, it turns out that the inclusion of the variable effective string tension in the PACIAE model is capable to reach an improved agreement between theory and experiment on the strangeness production in Pb+Pb collisions.

The non-parametric bootstrap method is used to evaluate the uncertainties of two $α$ decay formulas, the universal decay law (UDL) and the new Geiger-Nuttall law (NGNL). Such a method can simultaneously obtain the uncertainty of each parameter, the correlation between each pair of parameters, and the total, statistical, and systematic uncertainties of each formula. Both even-even (ee) nuclei and odd-A (oA) nuclei are used in the analysis. The collected data are separated into three parts: ee nuclei, oA nuclei without spin or parity change (oA\_nc), and oA nuclei with spin and/or parity change (oA\_c). Based on the residues between observed data and corresponding calculations, the statistical and systematic uncertainties are decomposed from the total uncertainty, from which one can clarify the effects from the shell structure, pairing, and angular momentum change on describing $α$ decay half-life. If $N > 126$ and $N \leqslant 126$ nuclei are considered together, the systematic uncertainty of residues between observed and predicted half-lives are larger than if those groups are considered separately. Without shell correction term, a much larger systematic uncertainty is found if parameters obtained for $N \leqslant 126$ nuclei are used to describe the half-lives of $N > 126$ nuclei. A global hindrance on the $α$ decay process is found in oA\_nc (oA\_c) nuclei comparing with ee (oA\_nc) nuclei. If parameters obtained from ee (oA\_nc) nuclei are used, the half-lives of oA\_nc (oA\_c) nuclei are generally underestimated with large systematic uncertainties, which can be related to the contribution of pairing effect and angular momentum. The recently observed superallowed decay from $^{104}$Te to $^{100}$Sn is also discussed based on uncertainty analysis. (Abstract is not fully presented because of length limitation)

We investigate the scattering of a quark on a heavy nucleus at high energies using the time-dependent basis light-front quantization (tBLFQ) formalism, which is the first application of the tBLFQ formalism in QCD. We present the real-time evolution of the quark wave function in a strong classical color field of the relativistic nucleus, described as the Color Glass Condensate. The quark and the nucleus color field are simulated in the QCD SU(3) color space. We calculate the total and the differential cross sections, and the quark distribution in coordinate and color spaces using the tBLFQ approach. We recover the eikonal cross sections in the eikonal limit. We find that the differential cross section from the tBLFQ simulation is in agreement with a perturbative calculation at large $p_\perp$, and it deviates from the perturbative calculation at small $p_\perp$ due to higher-order contributions. In particular, we relax the eikonal limit by letting the quark carry realistic finite longitudinal momenta. We study the sub-eikonal effect on the quark through the transverse coordinate distribution of the quark with different longitudinal momentum, and we find the sub-eikonal effect to be sizable. Our results can significantly reduce the theoretical uncertainties in small $p_\perp$ region which has important implications to the phenomenology of the hadron-nucleus and deep inelastic scattering at high energies.

Besides, two unexpected effect emerges: (1) the baryon density gradient has non-trivial and negative contribution to the polarization splitting; (2) for 7.7 GeV Au+Au collisions within the centrality range of 20\%-50\%, the polarization splitting surprisingly increases with the centrality decreases. The second effect might help to explain the significant signal of polarization splitting measured in STAR's Au+Au 7.7 Gev collisions.

The ALICE data for yields, ratios, as well as transverse momentum distributions of $\overline{d}$ and $d$ are well reproduced by the model simulations, meanwhile the three basic characters of $\rm^3{\overline{He}}$, $\rm^3{He}$, $\rm{{^3_{\overline Λ}\overline H}}$, and $\rm{^3_ΛH}$ are also predicted. Besides, we found the yields of light (anti-)nuclei produced are dependent upon their mass number $A$, namely, their yields sharply decrease with the increasing of $A$. The strangeness population factor $s_3=\rm{({^3_ΛH}/{^3{He}})/(Λ/p)}$ is found to be about 0.7 $\sim$ 0.8, and is comparable with the available experimental results.

Shannon information entropy provides an effective tool to study the evolution process in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. The time evolution process of thermodynamic entropy $S_{\rm thermal}$, multiple entropy $S_{\rm mul}$, and configuration entropy $S_{\rm conf}$ at RHIC is studied using the AMPT model to generate central Au-Au collisions. By superimposing the three kinds of information entropy, we can get a more complete information entropy of the system to describe the physical information of the relativistic heavy ion collision. The results show that the four stages of the time evolution process of the system entropy $S$ seem to correspond to the four physical processes in the relativistic heavy ion collision, indicating that the total entropy of the system can reflect the physical information in the relativistic heavy ion collision more accurately.

It is found that the $R_{AA}$ of light (anti)nuclei ($d, \bar d$) is similar to that of hadrons ($π^\pm, p, \bar p$), and the $R_{AA}$ of antiparticles is the same as that of particles. The suppression of $R_{AA}$ at high-$p_T$ strongly depends on event centrality and mass of the particles, i.e., the central collision is more suppressed than the peripheral collision. Besides, the yield ratios and double ratios for different particle species in $pp$ and Pb-Pb collisions are discussed, respectively. It is observed that the yield ratios and double ratios of $d$ to $p$ and $p$ to $π$ are similar to those of their anti-particles in three different collision systems, suggesting that the suppressions of matter ($π^{+}, p, d$) and the corresponding antimatter ($π^{-},\bar{p},\bar{d}$) are around the same level.

We also carry out a detailed numerical study for the meson-meson scattering for various quark flavors, and observe the near-threshold enhancement in some channels. We present a systematic study on the strange particle production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in proton-proton (pp) collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 7 TeV based on PACIAE simulations. Two different mechanisms accounting for single string structure variations and multiple string interactions are implemented in the simulations. These modifications give rise to increased effective string tension in the Lund fragmentation model and generate more strange particles in the hadronic final state. By comparing the results with a wealth of the LHC data, it is turned out that the inclusion of variable effective string tension is capable to reach an improved agreement between theory and experiment, especially on the recently observed multiplicity dependence of strangeness enhancement in pp collisions. This approach provides us a new method to understand the microscopic picture of the novel high multiplicity pp events collected at the LHC in the string fragmentation framework.

We apply this method to a test problem: the Coulomb excitation of a trapped deuteron by an im**ing heavy ion. The states of the deuteron system are obtained by the ab initio nuclear structure calculation implementing a realistic inter-nucleon interaction with a weak external trap to localize the center of mass and to discretize the continuum. The evolution of the internal state of the deuteron system is directly solved using the equation of motion for the scattering. We analyze the excitation mechanism of the deuteron system by investigating its internal transition probabilities and observables as functions of the exposure time and the incident speed. In this investigation, the dynamics of the Coulomb excitation are revealed by the time evolution of the system's internal charge distribution.

The energy dependence of light (anti)nuclei and (anti)hypertriton production are investigated in central Au-Au collisions from AGS up to LHC energies at midrapidity, using the parton and hadron cascade model (PACIAE) together with the dynamically constrained phase-space coalescence model(DCPC). We find that the yields, yield ratios of the antiparticles to their corresponding particles, the coalescence parameters $B_A$ and the strangeness population factor $s_3$ of light (anti)nuclei and (anti)hypertriton strongly depend on the energy. Furthermore, we analyze and discuss the strangeness population factor $s_3$ and the coalescence parameters $B_A$, and find a transition point near by 20 GeV. These results thus suggest the potential usefulness of the $s_3$ and $B_A$ of light nuclei production in relativistic heavy-ion collisions as a direct probe of the transition point associated with the QCD critical phenomena. The results from PACIAE+DCPC model are well consistent with experimental data.

We study the transfer of angular momentum in high energy nuclear collisions from the colliding nuclei to the region around midrapidity, using the classical approximation of the Color Glass Condensate (CGC) picture. We find that the angular momentum shortly after the collision (up to times ~ 1/Q_s, where Q_s is the saturation scale) is carried by the "beta-type" flow of the initial classical gluon field, introduced by some of us earlier. beta^i ~ mu_1 nabla^i mu_2 - mu_2 nabla^i mu_1 (i=1,2) describes the rapidity-odd transverse energy flow and emerges from Gauss' Law for gluon fields. Here mu_1 and mu_2 are the averaged color charge fluctuation densities in the two nuclei, respectively. Interestingly, strong coupling calculations using AdS/CFT techniques also find an energy flow term featuring this particular combination of nuclear densities. In classical CGC the order of magnitude of the initial angular momentum per rapidity in the reaction plane, at a time 1/Q_s, is |dL_2/d eta| ~ R_A/Q_s^3 epsilon_0/2 at midrapidity, where R_A is the nuclear radius, and epsilon_0 is the average initial energy density. This result emerges as a cancellation between a vortex of energy flow in the reaction plane aligned with the total angular momentum, and energy shear flow opposed to it. We discuss in detail the process of matching classical Yang-Mills results to fluid dynamics. We will argue that dissipative corrections should not be discarded to ensure that macroscopic conservation laws, e.g. for angular momentum, hold. Viscous fluid dynamics tends to dissipate the shear flow contribution that carries angular momentum in boost-invariant fluid systems. This leads to small residual angular momentum around midrapidity at late times for collisions at high energies.

We develop and test an ab initio time-dependent Basis Function (tBF) method to solve non-perturbative and time-dependent problems in quantum mechanics. For our test problem, we apply this method to the Coulomb excitation of the deuteron by an im**ing heavy ion. In the tBF method applied to deuterium, we employ wave functions for its bound and excited states to calculate its transition probabilities and the r.m.s. radius during the scattering process. For comparison, corresponding results based on first-order perturbation theory are also provided. For the Coulomb excitation process in a weak and time-varying Coulomb field, where higher-order effects are negligible, we obtain good agreement of the results based on these two methods. The tBF method is then applied to the Coulomb excitation process with stronger external field. The higher-order effects, such as those appearing in the reorientation of the polarization of the deuteron system, are analyzed.

We study the real-time evolution of an electron influenced by intense electromagnetic fields using the time-dependent basis light-front quantization (tBLFQ) framework. We focus on demonstrating the non-perturbative feature of the tBLFQ approach through a realistic application of the strong coupling QED problem, in which the electromagnetic fields are generated by an ultra-relativistic nucleus. We calculate transitions of an electron influenced by such electromagnetic fields and we show agreement with light-front perturbation theory when the atomic number of the nucleus is small. We compare tBLFQ simulations with perturbative calculations for nuclei with different atomic numbers, and obtain the significant higher-order contributions for heavy nuclei. The simulated real-time evolution of the momentum distribution of an electron evolving inside the strong electromagnetic fields exhibits significant non-perturbative corrections comparing to light-front perturbation theory calculations. The formalism used in this investigation can be extended to QCD problems in heavy ion collisions and electron ion collisions.

We study the $N_c$ scalings of pion-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon scatterings and find that a consistent large $N_c$ counting can be established if we assume Witten's counting rules are applied to matrix elements or scattering amplitudes which use the relativistic normalization for the nucleons. With the pionless effective field theory, we also find that the $S$-wave nucleon-nucleon interaction is so strong that it should be treated nonperturbatively at the leading order in the $1/N_c$ expansion. By summing all the leading order diagrams, we find that the deuteron binding energy is of order $1/N_c$. In contrast, meson-meson interaction is so weak that loosely-bound meson-meson molecular states may not exist in the large $N_c$ limit.

The mass spectrum and light-front wavefunctions of charmonium are obtained from the basis light-front quantization approach, using the one-gluon exchange interaction plus a confining potential inspired by light-front holography. We apply these light-front wavefunctions to exclusive charmonium production. The resulting cross sections are in reasonable agreement with electron-proton collision data at HERA and ultra-peripheral nucleus collision measurements at RHIC and LHC. The charmonium cross-section has model dependence on the dipole model. We observe that the cross-section ratio of excited states to the ground state has a weaker dependence than the cross-section itself. We suggest that measurements of excited states of heavy quarkonium production in future electron-ion collision experiments will impose rigorous constraints on heavy quarkonium light-front wavefunctions, thus improving our understanding of meson structure, which eventually will help us develop a precise description of the gluon distribution function in the small-$x$ regime.

Quantitative calculations of the properties of hadrons and nuclei, with assessed uncertainties, have emerged as competitive with experimental measurements in a number of major cases. We may well be entering an era where theoretical predictions are critical for experimental progress. Cross-fertilization between the fields of relativistic hadronic structure and non-relativistic nuclear structure is readily apparent. Non-perturbative renormalization methods such as Similarity Renormalization Group and Okubo-Lee-Suzuki schemes as well as many-body methods such as Coupled Cluster, Configuration Interaction and Lattice Simulation methods are now employed and advancing in both major areas of physics. New algorithms to apply these approaches on supercomputers are shared among these areas of physics. The roads to success have intertwined with each community taking the lead at various times in the recent past. I briefly sketch these fascinating paths and comment on some symbiotic relationships. The proton-proton momentum correlation functions ($C_{pp}(q)$) for kinematically complete decay channels of $^{23}$Al $\rightarrow$ p + p + $^{21}$Na and $^{22}$Mg $\rightarrow$ p + p + $^{20}$Ne have been measured at the RIKEN RI Beam Factory. From the very different correlation strength of $C_{pp}(q)$ for $^{23}$Al and $^{22}$Mg, the source size and emission time information were extracted from the $C_{pp}(q)$ data by assuming a Gaussian source profile in the correlation function calculation code (CRAB). The results indicated that the mechanism of two-proton emission from $^{23}$Al was mainly sequential emission, while that of $^{22}$Mg was mainly three-body simultaneous emission. By combining our earlier results of the two-proton relative momentum and the opening angle, it is pointed out that the mechanism of two-proton emission could be distinguished clearly.

We study the yield ratios of the antiparticle to particle and the rapidity distributions of the different (anti)nuclei. We find that the amounts of antimatter produced are significantly lower than that of the corresponding particles, the results of theoretical models are well consistent with the PHOBOS data. The yield ratios of the particle to antiparticle in different transverse momentum regions are also given, and we find that the ratios are raise with the increase of the transverse momentum.

Nuclei colliding at very high energy create a strong, quasi-classical gluon field during the initial phase of their interaction. We present an analytic calculation of the initial space-time evolution of this field in the limit of very high energies using a formal recursive solution of the Yang-Mills equations. We provide analytic expressions for the initial chromo-electric and chromo-magnetic fields and for their energy-momentum tensor. In particular, we discuss event-averaged results for energy density and energy flow as well as for longitudinal and transverse pressure of this system. Our results are generally applicable if $τ< 1/Q_s$. The transverse energy flow of the gluon field exhibits hydrodynamic-like contributions that follow transverse gradients of the energy density. In addition, a rapidity-odd energy flow also emerges from the non-abelian analog of Gauss' Law and generates non-vanishing angular momentum of the field. We will discuss the space-time picture that emerges from our analysis and its implications for observables in heavy ion collisions.

The central-arbitrary bin and forward-backward bin multiplicity correlation patterns for Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} $= $7.7-62.4$ GeV are investigated within a multi-phase transport (AMPT) model. An interesting observation is that for $\sqrt{s_{NN}} <19.6$ GeV Au+Au collisions, these two correlation patterns both have an increase with the pseudorapidity gap, while for $\sqrt{s_{NN}} >19.6$ GeV Au+Au collisions, they decrease. We mainly discuss the influence of different evolution stages of collision system on the central-arbitrary bin correlations, such as the initial conditions, partonic scatterings, hadronization scheme and hadronic scatterings. Our results show that the central-arbitrary bin multiplicity correlations have different responses to partonic phase and hadronic phase, which can be suggested as a good probe to explore the dynamical evolution mechanism of the hot dense matter in high-energy heavy-ion collisions.

Using a multi-phase transport model (AMPT) that includes both initial partonic and hadronic interactions, we study neighboring bin multiplicity correlations as a function of pseudorapidity in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 7.7-62.4$ GeV. It is observed that for $\sqrt{s_{NN}} < $19.6GeV Au+Au collisions, the short-range correlations of final particles have a trough at central pseudorapidity, while for $\sqrt{s_{NN}} > $19.6GeV AuAu collisions, the short-range correlations of final particles have a peak at central pseudorapidity. Our findings indicate that the pseudorapidity dependence of short-range correlations should contain some new physical information, and are not a simple result of the pseudorapidity distribution of final particles. The AMPT results with and without hadronic scattering are compared. It is found that hadron scattering can only increase the short-range correlations to some level, but is not responsible for the different correlation shapes for different energies. Further study shows that the different pseudorapidity dependence of short-range correlations are mainly due to partonic evolution and the following hadronization scheme.

We found that the yields of light (anti)nuclei and (anti)hypertriton strongly depend on the centrality, i.e., their yields decrease rapidly with the increase of centrality bins, but their yield ratios are independent of centrality. The results of theoretical model are well consistent with ALICE data. Furthermore, we found that the integrated yields of (anti)nuclei per participant nucleon increase from peripheral to central collisions more rapidly with increasing mass number. The transverse momentum distributions of $\overline{_{\overlineΛ}^3 H}, {_Λ^3 H},{\overline{^3 He}}$ and $^3{He}$ are also discussed in the 0-10% most central Pb-Pb collisions. The coalescence parameters $B_A$ of light (anti)nuclei and (anti)hypernuclei are analyzed.

For example, we find that the ratio of longitudinal to transverse pressure very early in the system behaves as $p_L/p_T = -[1-\frac{3}{2a}(Qτ)^2]/[1-\frac{1}{a}(Qτ)^2]+\mathcal{O}(Qτ)^4$ where $τ$ is the longitudinal proper time, $Q$ is related to the saturation scales $Q_s$ of the two nuclei, and $a = \ln (Q^2/\hat{m}^2)$ with $\hat m$ a scale to be defined later. Our results are generally applicable if $τ\lesssim 1/Q$. As already discussed in a previous paper, the transverse energy flow $S^i$ of the gluon field exhibits hydrodynamic-like contributions that follow transverse gradients of the energy density $\nabla^i \varepsilon$. In addition, a rapidity-odd energy flow also emerges from the non-abelian analog of Gauss' Law and generates non-vanishing angular momentum of the field. We will discuss the space-time picture that emerges from our analysis and its implications for observables in heavy ion collisions.

An evident peak at $q_{pp}\sim20$ MeV/c as well as a peak in $θ_{pp}$ around 30$^\circ$ are seen in the two-proton break-up channel from a highly-excited $^{22}$Mg. In contrast, such peaks are absent for the $^{23}$Al case. It is concluded that the two-proton emission mechanism of excited $^{22}$Mg is quite different from the $^{23}$Al case, with the former having a favorable diproton emission component at a highly excited state and the latter dominated by the sequential decay process.

In one scenario we assume that $Z_b$ states are pure molecular states, while in the other one we assume that $Z_b$ states contain compact components. We find that the present data favor that there should be some compact components inside $Z_b^{(\prime)}$ associated with the molecular components. By fitting the invariant mass spectra of $Υ(5S)\rightarrow h_b(1P,2P)π^+π^-$ and $Υ(5S)\rightarrow B^{(\ast)}\bar B^{\ast}π$, we determine that the probability of finding the compact components in $Z_b$ states may be as large as about $40\%$.

It is found that the yield ratios of antimatter and matter increase with the increase of the c.m energy of pp collisions until they gradually approach to 1 after the c.m energy is more than 200 GeV. The distribution of transverse momentum also has signiffcant dependence on the energy and mass, i.e the average transverse momentum increase when the c.m energy of pp collisions increase. We revisit the compositeness theorem proposed by Weinberg in an effective field theory (EFT) and explore criteria which are sensitive to the structure of $S$-wave threshold states. On a general basis, we show that the wave function renormalization constant $Z$, which is the probability of finding an elementary component in the wave function of a threshold state, can be explicitly introduced in the description of the threshold state. As an application of this EFT method, we describe the near-threshold line shape of the $D^{\ast 0}\bar D^0$ invariant mass spectrum in $B\rightarrow D^{\ast 0}\bar D^0 K$ and determine a nonvanishing value of $Z$. It suggests that the $X(3872)$ as a candidate of the $D^{\ast 0}\bar D^0$ molecule may still contain a small $c\bar{c}$ core. This elementary component, on the one hand, explains its production in the $B$ meson decay via a short-distance mechanism, and on the other hand, is correlated with the $D^{\ast 0}\bar D^0$ threshold enhancement observed in the $D^{\ast 0}\bar D^0$ invariant mass distributions. Meanwhile, we also show that if $Z$ is non-zero, the near-threshold enhancement of the $D^{\ast 0}\bar D^0$ mass spectrum in the $B$ decay will be driven by the short-distance production mechanism. This conclusion is still true even if the long-distance production is enhanced by some unexpected mechanism.

We discuss the energy flow of the classical gluon fields created in collisions of heavy nuclei at collider energies. We show how the Yang-Mills analoga of Faraday's Law and Gauss' Law predict the initial gluon flux tubes to expand or bend. The resulting transverse and longitudinal structure of the Poynting vector field has a rich phenomenology. Besides the well known radial and elliptic flow in transverse direction, classical quantum chromodynamics predicts a rapidity-odd transverse flow that tilts the fireball for non-central collisions, and it implies a characteristic flow pattern for collisions of non-symmetric systems $A+B$. The rapidity-odd transverse flow translates into a directed particle flow $v_1$ which has been observed at RHIC and LHC. The global flow fields in heavy ion collisions could be a powerful check for the validity of classical Yang-Mill dynamics in high energy collisions.
