Bakalov, Kac and Voronov introduced Leibniz conformal algebras (and their cohomology) as a non-commutative analogue of Lie conformal algebras. Leibniz conformal algebras are closely related to field algebras which are non-skew-symmetric generalizations of vertex algebras. In this paper, we first introduce $Leib_\infty$-conformal algebras (also called strongly homotopy Leibniz conformal algebras) where the Leibniz conformal identity holds up to homotopy. We give some equivalent descriptions of $Leib_\infty$-conformal algebras and characterize some particular classes of $Leib_\infty$-conformal algebras in terms of the cohomology of Leibniz conformal algebras and crossed modules of Leibniz conformal algebras. On the other hand, we also introduce Leibniz conformal $2$-algebras that can be realized as the categorification of Leibniz conformal algebras. Finally, we observe that the category of Leibniz conformal $2$-algebras is equivalent to the category of $2$-term $Leib_\infty$-conformal algebras.

Abstract:
This paper deals with the global compactness and multiplicity of positive solutions to problems of the type $$ -Δ_{\mathbb B^N} u -λu=a(x) |u|^{2^*-2}u+f(x) \quad\text{in } \mathbb B^N, \quad u\in H^1(\mathbb B^N),$$
where $\mathbb B^N$ denotes the ball model of the hyperbolic space of dimension $N\geq 4$, $2^*=\frac{2N}{N-2}$, $\frac{N(N-2)}{4}<λ<\frac{(N-1)^2}{4}$ and…

where $\mathbb B^N$ denotes the ball model of the hyperbolic space of dimension $N\geq 4$, $2^*=\frac{2N}{N-2}$, $\frac{N(N-2)}{4}<λ<\frac{(N-1)^2}{4}$ and $f\in H^{-1}(\mathbb B^N)$ ($f\not\equiv 0$) is a non-negative functional in the dual space of $H^1(\mathbb B^N)$. The potential $a\in L^\infty(\mathbb B^N)$ is assumed to be strictly positive, such that $\lim_{ d(x,0)\to \infty}a(x)=1$, where $d(x,0)$ denotes the geodesic distance. We establish profile decomposition of the associated functional. We show that concentration takes place along two different profiles, namely along hyperbolic bubbles and localized Aubin-Talenti bubbles. For $f=0$ and $a\equiv 1$, profile decomposition was studied by Bhakta and Sandeep [Calc. Var. PDE, 2012]. However, due to the presence of $a(.)$, an extension of profile decomposition to the present set-up is highly nontrivial and requires several delicate estimates and geometric arguments concerning the isometry group (Möbius group) of the hyperbolic space. Further, using the decomposition result, we derive various energy estimates involving the interacting hyperbolic bubbles and hyperbolic bubbles with localized Aubin-Talenti bubbles. Finally, combining these estimates with topological and variational arguments, we establish a multiplicity of positive solutions in the cases: $a\geq 1$ and $a<1$ separately. The equation studied in this article can be thought of as a variant of a scalar-field equation with a critical exponent in the hyperbolic space, although such a critical exponent problem in the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^N$ has only a trivial solution when $f \equiv 0,$ $a(x)\equiv1$ and $λ< 0.$

The notion of conformal algebras was introduced by Victor G. Kac using the axiomatic description of the operator product expansion of chiral fields in conformal field theory. The structure theory, representations and cohomology of Lie and associative conformal algebras are extensively studied in the literature. In this paper, we first introduce $A_\infty$-conformal algebras as the homotopy analogue of associative conformal algebras, provide some equivalent descriptions and prove the homotopy transfer theorem. We characterize some $A_\infty$-conformal algebras in terms of Hochschild cohomology classes of associative conformal algebras. Next, we introduce associative conformal $2$-algebras as the categorification of associative conformal algebras. We show that the category of associative conformal $2$-algebras and the category of $2$-term $A_\infty$-conformal algebras are equivalent. Finally, we consider $L_\infty$-conformal algebras and find their relations with $A_\infty$-conformal algebras.

where $Ω$ is a smooth bounded domain in $R^n, n\geq 3$. The coefficients $a(x), b(x)$ and $c(x)$ are positive bounded smooth functions. We shall study the existence of point concentrating solutions and discuss the role of the coefficients to determine the concentration profile of the solutions. We have also discussed some applications of our main theorem towards the existence of solutions concentrating on higher-dimensional orbits.

A typical quandary in geometric functions theory is to study a functional composed of amalgamations of the coefficients of the pristine function. Conventionally, there is a parameter over which the extremal value of the functional is needed. The present paper deals with consequential functional of this type. By making use of linear operator due to Hohlov \cite{6}, a new subclass $\mathcal{R}_{a,b}^{c}$ of analytic functions defined in the open unit disk is introduced. For both real and complex parameter, the sharp bounds for the Fekete-Szegö problems are found. An attempt has also been taken to found the sharp upper bound to the second and third Hankel determinant for functions belonging to this class. All the extremal functions are express in term of Gauss hypergeometric function and convolution. Finally, the sufficient condition for functions to be in $\mathcal{R}_{a,b}^{c}$ is derived.
Relevant connections of the new results with well known ones are pointed out.
