On a problem of Pavlović involving harmonic quasiconformal map**s
Abstract: We obtain a sharp result on order of certain affine and linear invariant families of harmonic quasiconformal map**s with bounded Schwarzian norm. Starlikeness and convexity of polyharmonic map**s
Abstract: In this paper, we first find an estimate for the range of polyharmonic map**s in the class $HC_{p}^{0}$. Then, we obtain two characterizations in terms of the convolution for polyharmonic map**s to be starlike of order $α$, and convex of order $β$, respectively. Finally, we study the radii of starlikeness and convexity for polyharmonic map**s, under certain coefficient conditions.

On polyharmonic univalent map**s
Abstract: In this paper, we introduce a class of complex-valued polyharmonic map**s, denoted by $HS_{p}(λ)$, and its subclass $HS_{p}^{0}(λ)$, where $λ\in [0,1]$ is a constant. These classes are natural generalizations of a class of map**s studied by Goodman in 1950's. We generalize the main results of Avci and Złotkiewicz from 1990's to the classes $HS_{p}(λ)$ and $HS_{p}^{0}(λ)$, showing that the mapp… ▽ More

On Quasihyperbolic Geodesics in Banach Spaces
Abstract: We study properties of quasihyperbolic geodesics on Banach spaces. For example, we show that in a strictly convex Banach space with the Radon-Nikodym property, the quasihyperbolic geodesics are unique. We also give an example of a convex domain $Ω$ in a Banach space such that there is no geodesic between any given pair of points $x, y \in Ω\,.$ In addition, we prove that if $\mathrm{X}$ is a unifo… ▽ More

Coefficient estimates, Landau's theorem and Lipschitz-type spaces on planar harmonic map**s
Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the properties of locally univalent and multivalent planar harmonic map**s. First, we discuss the coefficient estimates and Landau's Theorem for some classes of locally univalent harmonic map**s, and then we study some Lipschitz-type spaces for locally univalent and multivalent harmonic map**s.

Harmonic Close-to-convex Functions and Minimal Surfaces
Abstract: In this paper, we study the family ${\mathcal C}_{H}^0$ of sense-preserving complex-valued harmonic functions $f$ that are normalized close-to-convex functions on the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ with $f_{\bar{z}}(0)=0$. We derive a sufficient condition for $f$ to belong to the class $\CC_{H}^0$. We take the analytic part of $f$ to be $zF(a,b;c;z)$ or $zF(a,b;c;z^2)$ and for a suitable choice of co… ▽ More

Map** problems for quasiregular map**s
Abstract: We study images of the unit ball under certain special classes of quasiregular map**s. For homeomorphic, i.e., quasiconformal map**s problems of this type have been studied extensively in the literature. In this paper we also consider non-homeomorphic quasiregular map**s. In particular, we study (topologically) closed quasiregular map**s originating from the work of J. Väisälä and M. Vuori… ▽ More

On quasisymmetry of quasiconformal map**s and its applications
Abstract: Suppose that $f: D\to D'$ is a quasiconformal map**, where $D$ and $D'$ are domains in ${\mathbb R}^n$, and that $D$ is a broad domain. Then for every arcwise connected subset $A$ in $D$, the weak quasisymmetry of the restriction $f|_A: A\to f(A)$ implies its quasisymmetry, and as a consequence, we see that the answer to one of the open problems raised by Heinonen from 1989 is affirmative under… ▽ More
