Stability and Sharp Decay Estimates for 3D MHD Equations with Only Vertical Dissipation Near a Background Magnetic Field
Abstract: This paper is concerned with the stability and large-time behavior of 3D incompressible MHD equations with only vertical dissipation near a background magnetic field. By making full use of the dissipation generated by the background magnetic field, we first establish the global stability of the solutions in $H^3$-norm. Then, the optimal decay rates of the solutions are obtained, which are consiste… ▽ More

On the Frobenius fields of abelian varieties over number fields
Abstract: Let $A$ be a non-CM simple abelian variety over a number field $K$. For a place $v$ of $K$ such that $A$ has good reduction at $v$, let $F(A,v)$ denote the Frobenius field generated by the corresponding Frobenius eigenvalues. Assuming $A$ has connected monodromy groups, we show that the set of places $v$ such that $F(A,v)$ is isomorphic to a fixed number field has upper Dirichlet density zero. Ass… ▽ More

Physical Information Neural Networks for Solving High-index Differential-algebraic Equation Systems Based on Radau Methods
Abstract: As is well known, differential algebraic equations (DAEs), which are able to describe dynamic changes and underlying constraints, have been widely applied in engineering fields such as fluid dynamics, multi-body dynamics, mechanical systems and control theory. In practical physical modeling within these domains, the systems often generate high-index DAEs. Classical implicit numerical methods typic… ▽ More

On invariants of constant $p$-mean curvature surfaces in the Heisenberg group $H_{1}$
Abstract: A fundamental goal of geometry of submanifolds is to find fascinating and significant classical examples. In this paper, depending on the theory we established in [5], along with the approach we provided for constructing constant $p$-mean curvature surfaces, we found some interesting examples of constant $p$-mean curvature surfaces. In particular, we give a complete description for rotationally in… ▽ More

Slow traveling-wave solutions for the generalized surface quasi-geostrophic equation
Abstract: In this paper, we systematically study the existence, asymptotic behaviors, uniqueness, and nonlinear orbital stability of traveling-wave solutions with small propagation speeds for the generalized surface quasi-geostrophic (gSQG) equation. Firstly we obtain the existence of a new family of global solutions via the variational method. Secondly we show the uniqueness of maximizers under our variati… ▽ More

Uniqueness and stability of steady vortex rings for 3D incompressible Euler equation
Abstract: In this paper, we are concerned with the uniqueness and nonlinear stability of vortex rings for the 3D Euler equation. By utilizing Arnold 's variational principle for steady states of Euler equations and concentrated compactness method introduced by P. L. Lions, we first establish a general stability criteria for vortex rings in rearrangement classes, which allows us to reduce the stability analy… ▽ More

Existence and Stability of the Lamb Dipoles for the Quasi-Geostrophic Shallow-Water Equations
Abstract: In this paper, we prove the nonlinear orbital stability of vortex dipoles for the quasi-geostrophic shallow-water (QGSW) equations. The vortex dipoles are explicit travelling wave solutions to the QGSW equations, which are analogues of the classical circular vortex of Lamb and Chaplygin for the steady planar Euler equations. We establish a variational characterization of these vortex poles, which… ▽ More

Traveling vortex pairs for 2D Boussinesq equations
Abstract: In this paper, we study the existence and asymptotic properties of the traveling vortex pairs for the two-dimensional inviscid incompressible Boussinesq equations. We construct a family of traveling vorticity pairs, which constitutes the de-singularization of a pair of point vortices with equal intensity but opposite sign. Using the improved vorticity method, we also give limiting position of the… ▽ More

The Machine Learning for Combinatorial Optimization Competition (ML4CO): Results and Insights
Abstract: Combinatorial optimization is a well-established area in operations research and computer science. Until recently, its methods have focused on solving problem instances in isolation, ignoring that they often stem from related data distributions in practice. However, recent years have seen a surge of interest in using machine learning as a new approach for solving combinatorial problems, either dir… ▽ More

On the existence of vortex-wave systems to inviscid gSQG equation
Abstract: We study the existence of different vortex-wave systems for inviscid gSQG flow, where the total circulation are produced by point vortices and vortices with compact support. To overcome several difficulties caused by the singular formulation and infinite kinetic energy, we introduce a modified reduction method. Several asymptotic properties of the system are also given.

The rightness of the Riemann Hypothesis
Abstract: The properties of several functions are employed to investigate the zeros of the Riemann zeta function $ζ(a+bi)$ $(0<a<1, b\neq 0)$. If the zeros of the zeta function have not the form $\frac{1}{2}+ib$ where $i=\sqrt{-1}$, we derive a contradiction, illustrating that the Riemann Hypothesis is right.

An Application of the Moving Frame Method to Integral Geometry in the Heisenberg Group
Abstract: We show the fundamental theorems of curves and surfaces in the 3-dimensional Heisenberg group and find a complete set of invariants for curves and surfaces respectively. The proofs are based on Cartan's method of moving frames and Lie group theory. As an application of the main theorems, a Crofton-type formula is proved in terms of p-area which naturally arises from the variation of volume. The ap… ▽ More
