Automorphisms of GKM graphs and regular semisimple Hessenberg varieties
Abstract: A regular semisimple Hessenberg variety $\mathrm{Hess}(S,h)$ is a smooth subvariety of the full flag variety $\mathrm{Fl}(\mathbb{C}^n)$ associated with a regular semisimple matrix $S$ of order $n$ and a function $h$ from $\{1,2,\dots,n\}$ to itself satisfying a certain condition. We show that when $\mathrm{Hess}(S,h)$ is connected and not the entire space $\mathrm{Fl}(\mathbb{C}^n)$, the reductiv… ▽ More

Equivariant cohomology of even-dimensional complex quadrics from a combinatorial point of view
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to determine the ring structure of the torus equivariant cohomology of the even-dimensional complex quadrics by computing the graph equivariant cohomology of their corresponding GKM graphs. We show that its graph equivariant cohomology is generated by two types of subgraphs in the GKM graph, which are subject to four different types of relations. By utilizing this ring… ▽ More

Borel-Hirzebruch type formula for the graph equivariant cohomology of a projective bundle over a GKM-graph
Abstract: In this paper, we introduce the GKM theoretical counterpart of the equivariant complex vector bundles as the "leg bundle". We also provide a definition for the projectivization of a leg bundle and prove the Borel-Hirzebruch type formula for its graph equivariant cohomology, assuming that the projectivization is again a GKM graph. Furthermore, we study the realization of the projective GKM fiber bu… ▽ More

GKM graph locally modeled by $T^{n}\times S^{1}$-action on $T^{*}\mathbb{C}^{n}$ and its graph equivariant cohomology
Abstract: We introduce a class of labeled graphs (with legs) which contains two classes of GKM graphs of $4n$-dimensional manifolds with $T^{n}\times S^{1}$-actions, i.e., GKM graphs of the toric hyperK${\rm\ddot{a}}$hler manifolds and of the cotangent bundles of toric manifolds. Under some conditions, the graph equivariant cohomology ring of such a labeled graph is computed. We also give a module basis of… ▽ More

Flag Bott manifolds of general Lie type and their equivariant cohomology rings
Abstract: In this article we introduce flag Bott manifolds of general Lie type as the total spaces of iterated flag bundles. They generalize the notion of flag Bott manifolds and generalized Bott manifolds, and admit nice torus actions. We calculate the torus equivariant cohomology rings of flag Bott manifolds of general Lie type.

Torus orbifolds with two fixed points
Abstract: The main objects of this paper are torus orbifolds that have exactly two fixed points. We study the equivariant topological type of these orbifolds and consider when we can use the results of the paper [DKS] (arXiv:1809.03678) to compute its integral equivariant cohomology, in terms of generators and relations, coming from the corresponding orbifold torus graph.

Equivariant cohomology of torus orbifolds
Abstract: We calculate the integral equivariant cohomology, in terms of generators and relations, of locally standard torus orbifolds whose odd degree ordinary cohomology vanishes. We begin by studying GKM-orbifolds, which are more general, before specialising to half-dimensional torus actions.

Flag Bott manifolds and the toric closure of a generic orbit associated to a generalized Bott manifold
Abstract: To a direct sum of holomorphic line bundles, we can associate two fibrations, whose fibers are, respectively, the corresponding full flag manifold and the corresponding projective space. Iterating these procedures gives, respectively, a flag Bott tower and a generalized Bott tower. It is known that a generalized Bott tower is a toric manifold. However a flag Bott tower is not toric in general but… ▽ More

Upper bounds for the dimension of tori acting on GKM manifolds
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to give an upper bound for the dimension of a torus $T$ which acts on a GKM manifold $M$ effectively. In order to do that, we introduce a free abelian group of finite rank, denoted by $\mathcal{A}(Γ,α,\nabla)$, from an (abstract) $(m,n)$-type GKM graph $(Γ,α,\nabla)$. Here, an $(m,n)$-type GKM graph is the GKM graph induced from a $2m$-dimensional GKM manifold $M^{2m}$ wit… ▽ More

Root systems and symmetries of torus manifolds

Projective bundles over small covers and topological triviality problem
Abstract: This paper investigates the projectivization of real vector bundles over small covers. We first give a necessary and sufficient condition for such a projectivization to be a small cover. Then associated with moment-angle manifolds, we further study the structure of such a projectivization as a small cover. As an application, we characterize the real projective bundles over 2-dimensional small cove… ▽ More

An Orlik-Raymond type classification of simply connected six-dimensional torus manifolds with vanishing odd degree cohomology
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to classify simply connected 6-dimensional torus manifolds with vanishing odd degree cohomology. Classification of complex projective towers up to dimension 8 and cohomological rigidity
Abstract: A complex projective tower or simply a $\mathbb CP$-tower is an iterated complex projective fibrations starting from a point. In this paper we classify all 6-dimensional $\mathbb CP$-towers up to diffeomorphism, and as a consequence, we show that all such manifolds are cohomologically rigid, i.e., they are completely determined up to diffeomorphism by their cohomology rings. We also show that coho… ▽ More

Small Covers, infra-solvmanifolds and curvature
Abstract: It is shown that a small cover (resp. real moment-angle manifold) over a simple polytope is an infra-solvmanifold if and only if it is diffeomorphic to a real Bott manifold (resp. flat torus). Moreover, we obtain several equivalent conditions for a small cover being homeomorphic to a real Bott manifold. In addition, we study Riemannian metrics on small covers and real moment-angle manifolds with c… ▽ More

Topological classification of torus manifolds which have codimension one extended actions
Abstract: A toric manifold is a compact non-singular toric variety equipped with a natural half-dimensional compact torus action. A torus manifold is an oriented, closed, smooth manifold of dimension $2n$ with an effective action of a compact torus $T^{n}$ having a non-empty fixed point set. Hence, a torus manifold can be thought of as a generalization of a toric manifold. In the present paper, we focus on… ▽ More

Instanton Number Calculus on Noncommutative R^4
Abstract: In noncommutative spaces, it is unknown whether the Pontrjagin class gives integer, as well as, the relation between the instanton number and Pontrjagin class is not clear. Here we define ``Instanton number'' by the size of $B_α$ in the ADHM construction. We show the analytical derivation of the noncommuatative U(1) instanton number as an integral of Pontrjagin class (instanton charge) with the… ▽ More
