The space of Hardy-weights for quasilinear operators on discrete graphs
Abstract: We study Hardy inequalities for $p$-Schrödinger operators on general weighted graphs. Specifically, we prove a Maz'ya-type result, where we characterize the space of Hardy weights for $ p $-Schrödinger operators via a generalized capacity. The novel ingredient in the proof is the demonstration that the simplified energy of the $ p $-Schrödinger energy functional is compatible with certain normal c… ▽ More

Abstract: We investigate the equivalence of Sobolev inequalities and the conjunction of Gaussian upper heat kernel bounds and volume doubling on large scales on graphs. Combinatorial Reductions for the Stanley Depth of $I$ and $S/I$
Abstract: We develop combinatorial tools to study the relationship between the Stanley depth of a monomial ideal $I$ and the Stanley depth of its compliment, $S/I$. Using these results we are able to prove that if $S$ is a polynomial ring with at most 5 indeterminates and $I$ is a square-free monomial ideal, then the Stanley depth of $S/I$ is strictly larger than the Stanley depth of $I$. Using a computer s… ▽ More

Geometric and spectral consequences of curvature bounds on tessellations
Abstract: This is a chapter of a forthcoming Lecture Notes in Mathematics "Modern Approaches to Discrete Curvature" edited by L. Najman and P. Romon. It provides a survey on geometric and spectral consequences of curvature bounds. The geometric setting are tessellations of surfaces with finite and vanishing genus. We consider a curvature arising as an angular defect. Several of the results presented here ha… ▽ More
