Abstract:
A differential operator of weight $λ$ is the algebraic abstraction of the difference quotient $d_λ(f)(x):=\big(f(x+λ)-f(x)\big)/λ$, including both the derivation as $λ$ approaches to $0$ and the difference operator when $λ=1$. Correspondingly, differential algebra of weight $λ$ extends the well-established theories of differential algebra and difference algebra. In this paper, we initiate the stud…

In this paper, we initiate the study of differential operators with weights, in particular difference operators, on lattices. We show that differential operators of weight $-1$ on a lattice coincide with differential operators, while differential operators are special cases of difference operators. Distributivity of a lattice is characterized by the existence of certain difference operators. Furthermore, we characterize and enumerate difference operators on finite chains and finite quasi-antichains.

Abstract:
Let $(A, \oplus, *, 0)$ be an MV-algebra, $(A, \odot, 0)$ be the associated commutative semigroup, and $I$ be an ideal of $A$. Define the ideal-based zero-divisor graph $Γ_{I}(A)$ of $A$ with respect to $I$ to be a simple graph with the set of vertices $V(Γ_{I}(A))=\{x\in A\backslash I ~|~ (\exists~ y\in A\backslash I) ~x\odot y\in I\},$ and two distinct vertices $x$ and $y$ are joined by an edge…

We prove that $Γ_{I}(A)$ is connected and its diameter is less than or equal to $3$. Also, some relationship between the diameter (the girth) of $Γ_{I}(A)$ and the diameter (the girth) of the zero-divisor graph of $A/I$ are investigated. And using the girth of zero-divisor graphs (resp. ideal-based zero-divisor graphs) of MV-algebras, we classify all MV-algebras into $2~($resp. $3)$ types.

Abstract:
Let $A$ be an MV-algebra. An $(\odot,\vee)$-derivation on $A$ is a map $d: A\to A$ satisfying: $d(x \odot y) = (d(x) \odot y) \vee(x \odot d(y))$ for all $x, y \in A$. This paper initiates the study of $(\odot,\vee)$-derivations on MV-algebras. Several families of $(\odot,\vee)$-derivations on an MV-algebra are explicitly constructed to give realizations of the underlying lattice of an MV-algebra…

As an abstraction and generalization of the integral operator in analysis, integral operators (known as Rota-Baxter operators of weight zero) on associative algebras and Lie algebras have played an important role in mathematics and physics. This paper initiates the study of integral operators on lattices and the resulting Rota-Baxter lattices (of weight zero). We show that properties of lattices can be characterized in terms of their integral operators. We also display a large number of integral operators on any given lattice and classify the isomorphism classes of integral operators on some common classes of lattices. We further investigate structures on semirings derived from differential and integral operators on lattices.

This paper studies the differential lattice, defined to be a lattice $L$ equipped with a map $d:L\to L$ that satisfies a lattice analog of the Leibniz rule for a derivation. Isomorphic differential lattices are studied and classifications of differential lattices are obtained for some basic lattices. Several families of derivations on a lattice are explicitly constructed, giving realizations of the lattice as lattices of derivations. Derivations on a finite distributive lattice are shown to have a natural structure of lattice. Moreover, derivations on a complete infinitely distributive lattice form a complete lattice. For a general lattice, it is conjectured that its poset of derivations is a lattice that uniquely determines the given lattice.
