Semi-harmonious and harmonious quasi-projection pairs on Hilbert $C^*$-modules
Abstract: For each adjointable idempotent $Q$ on a Hilbert $C^*$-module $H$, a specific projection $m(Q)$ called the matched projection of $Q$ was introduced recently due to the characterization of the minimum value among all the distances from projections to $Q$. Inspired by the relationship between $m(Q)$ and $Q$, another term called the quasi-projection pair $(P,Q)$ was also introduced recently, where… ▽ More

On F-polynomials for generalized quantum cluster algebras and Gupta's formula
Abstract: We show the existence of $F$-polynomials for generalized quantum cluster algebras and obtain the associated separation formulas under a mild condition. Along the way, we obtain Gupta's formulas of $F$-polynomials for generalized quantum cluster algebras. These formulas specialize to Gupta's formulas for quantum cluster algebras and cluster algebras respectively. Finally, a generalization of Gupt… ▽ More

$τ$-tilting graphs and quotients
Abstract: We investigate $τ$-tilting graphs of algebras and their quotient algebras, and obtain a sufficient condition for the connectivity of $τ$-tilting graphs to be maintained in quotient algebras. It is worth pointing out that $g$-tame algebras satisfy this condition. As a consequence, we newly obtain a large class of algebras whose $τ$-tilting graphs are connected, including in particular the quotient… ▽ More

The Frobenious distances from projections to an idempotent matrix
Abstract: For each pair of matrices $A$ and $B$ with the same order, let $\|A-B\|_F$ denote their Frobenius distance. This paper deals mainly with the Frobenius distances from projections to an idempotent matrix. For every idempotent $Q\in \mathbb{C}^{n\times n}$, a projection $m(Q)$ called the matched projection can be induced. It is proved that $m(Q)$ is the unique projection whose Frobenius distance away… ▽ More

The matched projections of idempotents on Hilbert $C^*$-modules
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to give new characterizations of some fundamental issues about idempotents. For each idempotent $Q$, a projection $m(Q)$, called the matched projection of $Q$, is constructed. It is shown that $Q$ and $m(Q)$ as idempotents are homotopic, and… ▽ More
