Irreducible symplectic varieties via relative Prym varieties
Abstract: Generalizing work of Markushevich--Tikhomirov and Arbarello--Saccà--Ferretti, we use relative Prym varieties to construct Lagrangian fibered symplectic varieties in infinitely many dimensions. We then give criteria for when the construction yields primitive symplectic varieties, respectively, irreducible symplectic varieties. The starting point of the construction is a K3 surface endowed with an a… ▽ More

Kodaira dimension of moduli spaces of hyperkähler varieties
Abstract: We study the Kodaira dimension of moduli spaces of polarized hyperkähler varieties deformation equivalent to the Hilbert scheme of points on a K3 surface or to O'Grady's ten dimensional variety. This question was studied by Gritsenko-Hulek-Sankaran in the cases of $K3^{[2]}$ and OG10 type when the divisibility of the polarization is one. We generalize their results to higher dimension and divisibi… ▽ More

Marked and labelled Gushel-Mukai fourfolds
Abstract: We prove that the moduli stacks of marked and labelled Hodge-special Gushel-Mukai fourfolds are isomorphic. As an application, we construct rational maps from the stack of Hodge-special Gushel-Mukai fourfolds of discriminant $d$ to the moduli space of (twisted) degree-$d$ polarized K3 surfaces. We use these results to prove a counting formula for the number of 4-dimensional fibers of Fourier-Mukai… ▽ More

Moduli spaces of twisted K3 surfaces and cubic fourfolds
Abstract: Motivated by the relation between (twisted) K3 surfaces and special cubic fourfolds, we construct moduli spaces of polarized twisted K3 surfaces of any fixed degree and order. We do this by mimicking the construction of the moduli space of untwisted polarized K3 surfaces as a quotient of a bounded symmetric domain.

Two polarized K3 surfaces associated to the same cubic fourfold
Abstract: For infinitely many $d$, Hassett showed that special cubic fourfolds of discriminant $d$ are related to polarized K3 surfaces of degree $d$ via their Hodge structures. For half of the $d$, each associated K3 surface $(S,L)$ canonically yields another one, $(S^τ,L^τ)$. We prove that $S^τ$ is isomorphic to the moduli space of stable coherent sheaves on $S$ with Mukai vector $(3,L,d/6)$. We also expl… ▽ More
