On gamma functions with respect to the alternating Hurwitz zeta functions
Abstract: In 1730, Euler defined the Gamma function $Γ(x)$ by the integral representation. It possesses many interesting properties and has wide applications in various branches of mathematics and sciences. According to Lerch, the Gamma function $Γ(x)$ can also be defined by the derivative of the Hurwitz zeta function $$ζ(z,x)=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\frac{1}{(n+x)^{z}}$$ at $z=0$. Recently, Hu and Kim defined t… ▽ More

On $p$-adic Hurwitz-type spectral zeta functions
Abstract: Let $\left\{E_n\right\}_{n=1}^{\infty}$ be the set of energy levels corresponding to a Hamiltonian $H$. Denote by $$λ_{0}=0~~\textrm{and}~~λ_{n}=E_{n}$$ for $n\in\mathbb N.$ In this paper, we shall construct and investigate the $p$-adic counterparts of the Hurwitz-type spectral zeta function \begin{equation} ζ^{H}(s,λ)=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\frac{1}{(λ_{n}+λ)^{s}} \end{equation} and its alternating f… ▽ More

Entanglement entropies in the abelian arithmetic Chern-Simons theory
Abstract: The notion of {\em entanglement entropy} in quantum mechanical systems is an important quantity, which measures how much a physical state is entangled in a composite system. Mathematically, it measures how much the state vector is not decomposable as elements in the tensor product of two Hilbert spaces. In this paper, we seek its arithmetic avatar: the theory of arithmetic Chern-Simons theory with… ▽ More

New phenomena in deviation of Birkhoff integrals for locally Hamiltonian flows
Abstract: We consider smooth locally Hamiltonian flows on compact surfaces of genus $g\geq 2$ to prove their deviation of Birkhoff integrals for smooth observables. Our work generalizes results of Forni and Bufetov which prove the existence of deviation spectrum of Birkhoff integrals for observables whose jets vanish at sufficiently high order around fixed points of the flow. They showed that ergodic integr… ▽ More

Generalizations of Lerch's formula by Barnes' multiple zeta functions
Abstract: The classical Lerch's formula states the following normalized product: $$\prod_{n=0}^\infty(x+n)=\frac{\sqrt{2π}}{Γ(x)},\quad \textrm{Re}(x)>0, $$ where $Γ(x)$ is the Euler gamma function. In this note, by using Barnes' multiple zeta function and its alternating form, we obtain two kinds of generalizations of Lerch's formula, which imply the product $$ \prod_{n=1}^\infty n=\sqrt{2π} $$ (in the s… ▽ More

Entanglement entropy and edge modes in topological string theory II: The dual gauge theory story
Abstract: This is the second in a two-part paper devoted to studying entanglement entropy and edge modes in the A model topological string theory. This theory enjoys a gauge-string (Gopakumar-Vafa) duality which is a topological analogue of AdS/CFT. In part 1, we defined a notion of generalized entropy for the topological closed string theory on the resolved conifold. We provided a canonical interpretation… ▽ More

Entanglement entropy and edge modes in topological string theory: I
Abstract: Progress in identifying the bulk microstate interpretation of the Ryu-Takayanagi formula requires understanding how to define entanglement entropy in the bulk closed string theory. Unfortunately, entanglement and Hilbert space factorization remains poorly understood in string theory. As a toy model for AdS/CFT, we study the entanglement entropy of closed strings in the topological A-model in the c… ▽ More

A pair of homotopy-theoretic version of TQFT's induced by a Brown functor
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to study some obstruction classes induced by a construction of a homotopy-theoretic version of projective TQFT (projective HTQFT for short). A projective HTQFT is given by a symmetric monoidal projective functor whose domain is the cospan category of pointed finite CW-spaces instead of a cobordism category. Homology theory valued in the category of bicommutative Hopf algebras
Abstract: The codomain category of a generalized homology theory is the category of modules over a ring. For an abelian category A, an A-valued (generalized) homology theory is defined by formally replacing the category of modules with the category A. It is known that the category of bicommutative (i.e. commutative and cocommutative) Hopf algebras over a field k is an abelian category. Denote the category b… ▽ More

Kitaev's stabilizer code and chain complex theory of bicommutative Hopf algebras

Due to the bicommutativity, the Kitaev's stabilizer code extends to a broader class of spaces, e.g. finite CW-complexes ; more generally short abstract complex over a commutative unital ring R which is introduced in this paper. Arithmetic Gauge Theory: A Brief Introduction
Abstract: Much of arithmetic geometry is concerned with the study of principal bundles. They occur prominently in the arithmetic of elliptic curves and, more recently, in the study of the Diophantine geometry of curves of higher genus. In particular, the geometry of moduli spaces of principal bundles appears to be closely related to an effective version of Faltings's theorem on finiteness of rational points… ▽ More

Log-concavity of complexity one Hamiltonian torus actions
Abstract: Let $(M,ω)$ be a closed $2n$-dimensional symplectic manifold equipped with a Hamiltonian $T^{n-1}$-action.
