RKHS, Odzijewicz, Berezin and Fedosov-type quantizations on smooth compact manifolds
Abstract: In this article we define Odzijewicz, Berezin and Fedosov-type quantization on compact smooth manifolds. The method is as follows. We embed the smooth manifold of real dimension $n$ into ${\mathbb C}P^n$ (and in the Fedosov quantization case embed into any real $2n$ dimensional symplectic manifold). The pullback coherent states are defined in the usual way. In the Odzijewicz-type, Berezin-type qua… ▽ More

Berezin-type quantization on even-dimensional compact manifolds
Abstract: In this article we show that a Berezin-type quantization can be achieved on a compact even dimensional manifold $M^{2d}$ by removing a skeleton $M_0$ of lower dimension such that what remains is diffeomorphic to $R^{2d}$ (cell decomposition) which we identify with $C^d$ and embed in $ CP^d$. A local Poisson structure and Berezin-type quantization are induced from $ CP^d$. Thus we have a Hilbert sp… ▽ More

Quillen-type bundle and geometric prequantization on moduli space of the Seiberg-Witten equations on product of Riemann surfaces
Abstract: We show the existence of a symplectic structure on the moduli space of the Seiberg-Witten equations on $Σ\times Σ$ where $Σ$ is a compact oriented Riemann surface. To prequantize the moduli space, we construct a Quillen-type determinant line bundle on it and show its curvature is proportional to the symplectic form.

Pullback Coherent States, Squeezed States and Quantization
Abstract: In this semi-expository paper, we define certain Rawnsley-type coherent and squeezed states on an integral Kähler manifold (after possibly removing a set of measure zero) and show that they satisfy some properties which are akin to maximal likelihood property, reproducing kernel property, generalised resolution of identity property and overcompleteness. This is a generalization of a result by Sper… ▽ More

Coadjoint orbits and Kähler structure: examples from coherent states
Abstract: Do co-adjoint orbits of Lie groups support a Kähler structure? We study this question from a point of view derived from coherent states. We examine three examples of Lie groups: the Weyl-Heisenberg group, $\mathrm{SU(2)}$ and $\mathrm{SU(1,1)}$. In cases, where the orbits admit a Kähler structure, we show that coherent states give us a Kähler embedding of the orbit into projective Hilbert space. I… ▽ More

Geometric quantization of finite Toda systems and coherent States
Abstract: Adler had shown in 1979 that the Toda system can be given a coad- joint orbit description. We quantize the Toda system by viewing it as a single orbit of a multiplicative group of lower triangular matrices of determinant one with pos- itive diagonal entries. We get a unitary representation of the group with square integrable polarized sections of the quantization as the module . We find the Rawnsl… ▽ More

The dimension of the Hilbert Space of Geometic quantization of vortices on a Riemann surface
Abstract: In this article we calculate the dimension of the Hilbert space of Kahler quantization of the moduli space of vortices on a Riemann surface. This dimension is given by the holomorphic Euler characteristic of the quantum line bundle.

Generalized Seiberg-Witten equations on Riemann surface
Abstract: In this paper we consider twice-dimensionally reduced, generalized Seiberg-Witten equations, defined on a compact Riemann surface. A novel feature of the reduction technique is that the resulting equations produce an extra "Higgs field". Under suitable regularity assumptions, we show that the moduli space of gauge-equivalent classes of solutions to the reduced equations, is a smooth Kahler manifol… ▽ More

Geometric prequantization on the path space of a prequantized manifold
Abstract: Given a compact symplectic manifold $M$, with integral symplectic form, we prequantize a certain class of functions on the path space for $M$. The functions in question are induced by functions on $M$. We apply our construction to study the symplectic structure on the solution space of Klein-Gordon equation.

Holomorphic Quillen determinant line bundles on integral compact Kahler manifolds
Abstract: We show that any compact Kahler manifold with integral Kahler form, parametrizes a natural holomorphic family of Cauchy-Riemann operators on the Riemann sphere such that the Quillen determinant line bundle of this family is isomorphic to a sufficiently high tensor power of the holomorphic line bundle determined by the integral Kahler form. We also establish a symplectic version of the result. We c… ▽ More

Quillen bundle and Geometric Prequantization of Non-Abelian Vortices on a Riemann surface
Abstract: In this paper we prequantize the moduli space of non-abelian vortices. We explicitly calculate the symplectic form arising from the $L^2$ metric and we construct a prequantum line bundle whose curvature is proportional to this symplectic form. The prequantum line bundle turns out to be Quillen's determinant line bundle with a modified Quillen metric. Next, as in the case of abelian vortices, we co… ▽ More

Geometric prequantization of a modified Seiberg-Witten moduli space in 2 dimensions
Abstract: In this paper we consider a dimensional reduction of slightly modified Seiberg-Witten equations, the modification being a different choice of the Pauli matrices which go into defining the equations. We get interesting equations with a Higgs field, spinors and a connection. We show interesting solutions of these equations. Then we go on to show a family of symplectic structures on the moduli sp… ▽ More

HyperKähler prequantization of the Hitchin system and Chern-Simons theory with complex gauge group
Abstract: Hitchin has shown that the moduli space ${\mathcal M}$ of the dimensionally reduced self-dual Yang-Mills equations has a hyperKähler structure. In this paper we first explicitly show the hyperKähler structure, the details of which is missing in Hitchin's paper. We show here that ${\mathcal M}$ admits three pre-quantum line bundles, corresponding to the three symplectic forms. We use Quillen's de… ▽ More

Geometric quantization of the moduli space of the Self-duality equations on a Riemann surface
Abstract: The self-duality equations on a Riemann surface arise as dimensional reduction of self-dual Yang-Mills equations. Hitchin had showed that the moduli space ${\mathcal M}$ of solutions of the self-duality equations on a compact Riemann surface of genus $g >1$ has a hyperKähler structure. In particular ${\mathcal M}$ is a symplectic manifold. In this paper we elaborate on one of the symplectic stru… ▽ More

Geometric Prequantization of the Moduli Space of the Vortex equations on a Riemann surface
Abstract: The moduli space of solutions to the vortex equations on a Riemann surface are well known to have a symplectic (in fact Kähler) structure. We show this symplectic structure explictly and proceed to show a family of symplectic (in fact, Kähler) structures $Ω_{Ψ_0}$ on the moduli space, parametrised by $Ψ_0$, a section of a line bundle on the Riemann surface. Next we show that corresponding to the… ▽ More
