Minimal massive supergravity and new theories of massive gravity
Abstract: We present an action for minimal massive gravity (MMG) in three dimensions in terms of a dreibein and an independent spin connection. Furthermore, the construction provides an action principle for an infinite family of so-called third-way consistent generalizations of the three-dimensional Einstein field equations, including exotic massive gravity and new higher-order generalizations. $p$-brane Galilean and Carrollian Geometries and Gravities
Abstract: We study $D$-dimensional $p$-brane Galilean geometries via the intrinsic torsion of their adapted connections. These non-Lorentzian geometries are examples of $G$-structures whose characteristic tensors consist of two degenerate ``metrics'' of ranks $(p+1)$ and $(D-p-1)$. We carry out the analysis in two different ways. In one way, inspired by Cartan geometry, we analyse in detail the space of int… ▽ More

Generalized Newton-Cartan Geometries for Particles and Strings

Abstract: We construct three-dimensional, $\mathcal{N}=1$ off-shell supersymmetric massive Yang-Mills (YM) theory, whose YM equation is "third way" consistent. Black holes as generalised Toda molecules
Abstract: In this note we compare the geodesic formalism for spherically symmetric black hole solutions with the black hole effective potential approach. The geodesic formalism is beneficial for symmetric supergravity theories since the symmetries of the larger target space leads to a complete set of commuting constants of motion that establish the integrability of the geodesic equations of motion, as shown… ▽ More

On Maximal Massive 3D Supergravity
Abstract: We construct, at the linearized level, the three-dimensional (3D) N = 4 supersymmetric "general massive supergravity" and the maximally supersymmetric N = 8 "new massive supergravity". We also construct the maximally supersymmetric linearized N = 7 topologically massive supergravity, although we expect N = 6 to be maximal at the non-linear level.

Black holes in supergravity and integrability
Abstract: Stationary black holes of massless supergravity theories are described by certain geodesic curves on the target space that is obtained after dimensional reduction over time. When the target space is a symmetric coset space we make use of the group-theoretical structure to prove that the second order geodesic equations are integrable in the sense of Liouville, by explicitly constructing the correct… ▽ More

More on Massive 3D Supergravity
Abstract: Completing earlier work on three dimensional (3D) N=1 supergravity with curvature-squared terms, we construct the general supergravity extension of cosmological massive gravity theories. We expand about supersymmetric anti-de Sitter vacua, finding the conditions for bulk unitarity and the critical points in parameter space at which the spectrum changes. We discuss implications for the dual conform… ▽ More

De Sitter in Extended Supergravity
Abstract: We show that known de Sitter solutions in extended gauged supergravity theories are interrelated via a web of supersymmetry-breaking truncations. In particular, all N=8 models reduce to a subset of the N=4 possibilities. Furthermore, a different subset of the N=4 models can be truncated to stable de Sitter vacua in N=2 theories. In addition to relations between the known cases, we also find new… ▽ More

The full integration of black hole solutions to symmetric supergravity theories
Abstract: We prove that all stationary and spherical symmetric black hole solutions to theories with symmetric target spaces are integrable and we provide an explicit integration method. This exact integration is based on the description of black hole solutions as geodesic curves on the moduli space of the theory when reduced over the time-like direction. These geodesic equations of motion can be rewritte… ▽ More

On full-fledged supergravity cosmologies and their Weyl group asymptotics
Abstract: We consider a class of cosmological solutions of d=4, N=2 supergravity theories coupled to vector multiplets. The solutions result from performing a compactification to three dimensions, where the theory reduces to a symmetric space sigma model coupled to gravity and where the resulting equations of motion are integrable. We describe in detail how the three-dimensional solutions can be uplifted… ▽ More
