In this paper, we study the dissociation of heavy quarkonium in the spinning black hole background. Specifically, we analyze the spectral function of charmonium and bottomonium in the spinning black hole background and examine how the angular momentum affects the dissociation of $J/Ψ$ and $Υ(1S)$. From the results, we find that the angular momentum decreases the peak height and expands the peak width of the spectral function which indicates it enhances the dissociation of heavy vector mesons. Moreover, the angular momentum has a stronger dissociation effect in the transverse orientation, revealing the directional influence of angular momentum.

High-energy Neutrino Emission from NGC 1068 by Outflow-cloud Interactions

As the hottest high-energy neutrino spot, NGC 1068 has received much attention in recent years. Here we focus on the central region of the active galactic nuclei (AGN) and propose an outflow-cloud interaction model that could probably explain the observed neutrino data. Considering the accretion process adjacent to the central supermassive black hole (SMBH) of NGC 1068, strong outflows will be generated, which will likely interact with surrounding clouds floating in the corona region. Particles carried by the outflow will be accelerated to very high energy by the shocks forming during the outflow-cloud interactions. For the accelerated high-energy protons, $pγ$ interactions with the background photon field of the corona and disk and $pp$ interaction with the surrounding gas will produce considerable high-energy $γ$-rays and neutrino. However, because of the extremely dense photon fields in the corona and disk, the newly generated $γ$-rays will be significantly attenuated through the $γγ$ absorptions. In our scenario, the expected GeV-TeV $γ$-ray emission will be suppressed to a much lower level than the neutrino emission, consistent with the observational characteristics of NGC 1068, while the generated 1-30\,TeV neutrino flux can fit the IceCube data very well.

In this study, the impact of triangle singularity is investigated in the isospin-breaking process $J/ψ\to Λ\barΛ π$. The triangle singularity is found to play a significant role in the process, resulting in the creation of a resonance-like structure around 1.4 GeV in the $Λπ(\barΛπ)$ invariant mass spectrum. To amplify the impact of this triangle singularity, the presence of two $Σ^*(\frac{1}{2}^-)$ states around 1.4 GeV and 1.6 GeV is essential, yet these states have not been definitively identified in the current baryon spectrum. We recommend that experiments, particularly the Bei**g Spectrometer (BESIII) and the future Super Tau-Charm Factory (STCF), to investigate the process $J/ψ\to Λ\barΛ π$ to offer direct evidences for our predicted triangle singularity and additional evidence regarding the $Σ(\frac{1}{2}^-)$ states.

We report a first study of the semileptonic decay $D^0\rightarrow K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ by analyzing an $e^+e^-$ annihilation data sample of $7.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector. The absolute branching fraction of $D^0\to K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ is measured for the first time to be $(0.729 \pm 0.014_{\rm stat} \pm 0.011_{\rm syst})\%$. Based on an amplitude analysis, the $S\text{-}{\rm wave}$ contribution is determined to be $(5.76 \pm 0.35_{\rm stat} \pm 0.29_{\rm syst})\%$ of the total decay rate in addition to the dominated $K^{*}(892)^-$ component. The branching fraction of $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ is given to be $(2.062 \pm 0.039_{\rm stat} \pm 0.032_{\rm syst})\%$, which improves the precision of the world average by a factor of 5. Combining with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)$, the ratio of the branching fractions obtained is $\frac{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ)}{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)} = 0.96\pm0.08$, in agreement with lepton flavor universality. Furthermore, assuming single-pole dominance parameterization, the most precise hadronic form factor ratios for $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^{-} μ^+ν_μ$ are extracted to be $r_{V}=V(0)/A_1(0)=1.37 \pm 0.09_{\rm stat} \pm 0.03_{\rm syst}$ and $r_{2}=A_2(0)/A_1(0)=0.76 \pm 0.06_{\rm stat} \pm 0.02_{\rm syst}$.

The full data set of the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment is used to probe the effect of the charged current non-standard interactions (CC-NSI) on neutrino oscillation experiments. Two different approaches are applied and constraints on the corresponding CC-NSI parameters are obtained with the neutrino flux taken from the Huber-Mueller model with a $5\%$ uncertainty. For the quantum mechanics-based approach (QM-NSI), the constraints on the CC-NSI parameters $ε_{eα}$ and $ε_{eα}^{s}$ are extracted with and without the assumption that the effects of the new physics are the same in the production and detection processes, respectively. The approach based on the weak effective field theory (WEFT-NSI) deals with four types of CC-NSI represented by the parameters $[\varepsilon_{X}]_{eα}$. For both approaches, the results for the CC-NSI parameters are shown for cases with various fixed values of the CC-NSI and the Dirac CP-violating phases, and when they are allowed to vary freely. We find that constraints on the QM-NSI parameters $ε_{eα}$ and $ε_{eα}^{s}$ from the Daya Bay experiment alone can reach the order $\mathcal{O}(0.01)$ for the former and $\mathcal{O}(0.1)$ for the latter, while for WEFT-NSI parameters $[\varepsilon_{X}]_{eα}$, we obtain $\mathcal{O}(0.1)$ for both cases.

The goal is to assess the role of both electroweak currents and many-body correlations as the origins of the well-known problem of the quenching of the axial coupling constant gA. To this end, the calculation of observables related to the Gamow-Teller transitions has been performed for several nuclear systems outside the 40Ca and 56Ni closed cores and compared with the available data.

Cold quark matter in a quasiparticle model: thermodynamic consistency and stellar properties

The strong coupling in the effective quark mass was usually taken as a constant in a quasiparticle model while it is, in fact, running with an energy scale. With a running coupling, however, the thermodynamic inconsistency problem appears in the conventional treatment. We show that the renormalization subtraction point should be taken as a function of the summation of the biquadratic chemical potentials if the quark's current masses vanish, in order to ensure full thermodynamic consistency. Taking the simplest form, we study the properties of up-down ($ud$) quark matter, and confirm that the revised quasiparticle model fulfills the quantitative criteria for thermodynamic consistency. Moreover, we find that the maximum mass of an $ud$ quark star can be larger than two times the solar mass, reaching up to $2.31M_{\odot}$, for reasonable model parameters. However, to further satisfy the upper limit of tidal deformability $\tildeΛ_{1.4}\leq 580$ observed in the event GW170817, the maximum mass of an $ud$ quark star can only be as large as $2.08M_{\odot}$, namely $M_{\text{max}}\lesssim2.08M_{\odot}$. In other words, our results indicate that the measured tidal deformability for event GW170817 places an upper bound on the maximum mass of $ud$ quark stars, but which does not rule out the possibility of the existence of quark stars composed of $ud$ quark matter, with a mass of about two times the solar mass.

Using a data sample of $(10087\pm44)\times 10^6$ $J/ψ$ events collected by the BESIII detector in 2009, 2012, 2018 and 2019, the electromagnetic Dalitz process $J/ψ\to e^+ e^- η(1405)$ is observed via the decay $η(1405) \to π^0 f_0(980)$, $f_0(980) \to π^+ π^-$, with a significance of about $9.6σ$. The branching fraction of this decay is measured to be ${\mathcal B}(J/ψ\to e^+ e^- π^0 η(1405) \to e^+ e^- π^0 f_0(980) \to e^+ e^- π^0 π^+ π^-)=(2.02\pm0.24(\rm{stat.})\pm0.09(\rm{syst.}))\times 10^{-7}$. The branching-fraction ratio ${\mathcal B}(J/ψ\to e^+ e^- η(1405))$/${\mathcal B}(J/ψ\to γη(1405))$ is determined to be $(1.35\pm0.19(\rm{stat.})\pm0.06(\rm{syst.}))\times10^{-2}$. Furthermore, an $e^+e^-$ invariant-mass dependent transition form factor of $J/ψ\to e^+ e^-η(1405)$ is presented for the first time. The obtained result provides input for different theoretical models, and is valuable for the improved understanding the intrinsic structure of the $η(1405)$ meson.

A clear signal is observed with a statistical significance of $7.1σ$. The cross section of the reaction $Ξ^0+{^9\rm{Be}}\rightarrowΞ^-+p+{^8\rm{Be}}$ is determined to be $σ(Ξ^0+{^9\rm{Be}}\rightarrowΞ^-+p+{^8\rm{Be}})=(22.1\pm5.3_{\rm{stat}}\pm4.5_{\rm{sys}})$ mb at the $Ξ^0$ momentum of $0.818$ GeV/$c$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. No significant $H$-dibaryon signal is observed in the $Ξ^-p$ final state. This is the first study of hyperon-nucleon interactions in electron-positron collisions and opens up a new direction for such research.

The first direct measurement of the absolute branching fraction of $Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e}$ is reported based on an $e^+e^-$ annihilation sample of $(10087\pm44) \times 10^6$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector at $\sqrt{s}=3.097$ GeV. The branching fraction is determined to be ${\mathcal B}(Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e}) = [2.93\pm0.74(\rm stat) \pm 0.13(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$, which is the most precise measurement obtained in a single experiment to date and also the first result obtained at a collider experiment. Combining this result with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(Σ^- \to Λe^- \barν_{e})$ and the lifetimes of $Σ^{\pm}$, the ratio, $\frac{Γ(Σ^- \to Λe^- \barν_{e})}{Γ(Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e})}$, is determined to be $1.06 \pm 0.28$, which is within 1.8 standard deviations of the value expected in the absence of second-class currents that are forbidden in the Standard Model.

Making use of the world-average branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΛπ^+π^0)$, their branching fractions are determined to be \begin{eqnarray*} \begin{aligned} \mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΛρ(770)^+)=&(4.06\pm0.30\pm0.35\pm0.23)\times10^{-2},\\ \mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΣ(1385)^+π^0)=&(5.86\pm0.49\pm0.52\pm0.35)\times10^{-3},\\ \mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΣ(1385)^0π^+)=&(6.47\pm0.59\pm0.66\pm0.38)\times10^{-3},\\ \end{aligned} \end{eqnarray*} where the first uncertainties are statistical, the second are systematic, and the third are from the uncertainties of the branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΛπ^+π^0)$ and $\mathcal{B}(Σ(1385)\toΛπ)$. In addition, %according to amplitudes determined from the partial wave analysis, the decay asymmetry parameters are measured to be $α_{Λρ(770)^+}=-0.763\pm0.053\pm0.045$, $α_{Σ(1385)^{+}π^0}=-0.917\pm0.069\pm0.056$, and $α_{Σ(1385)^{0}π^+}=-0.789\pm0.098\pm0.056$.

Based on the factorization formalism of non-relativistic QCD, an exact treatment is developed, which can weight the contribution from different channels and recovers the Weizsäcker-Williams approximation (WWA) near the region $Q^{2}\sim0$. The relevant kinematical relations are also achieved. We present a comprehensive analysis for the properties of WWA in heavy-ion collisions, and discuss the contribution of inelastic photoproduction processes to the heavy quarkonium production. The $Q^{2}$-, $y$-, $\sqrt{s}$-, and $p_{T}$-dependent cross sections, and the total cross sections are estimated. It is shown that the inelastic photoproduction and fragmentation processes can provide the evident modification to the heavy quarkonium production in $p$-$p$ and $Pb$-$Pb$ collisions at LHC energies, where the ultra-incoherent photon emission plays a very important role. Moreover, the WWA is only effective in very restricted domains, and the exact treatment can naturally avoid double counting and WWA errors.

Deep learning methods have been increasingly adopted to study jets in particle physics. Since symmetry-preserving behavior has been shown to be an important factor for improving the performance of deep learning in many applications, Lorentz group equivariance - a fundamental spacetime symmetry for elementary particles - has recently been incorporated into a deep learning model for jet tagging. However, the design is computationally costly due to the analytic construction of high-order tensors. In this article, we introduce LorentzNet, a new symmetry-preserving deep learning model for jet tagging. The message passing of LorentzNet relies on an efficient Minkowski dot product attention. Experiments on two representative jet tagging benchmarks show that LorentzNet achieves the best tagging performance and improves significantly over existing state-of-the-art algorithms. The preservation of Lorentz symmetry also greatly improves the efficiency and generalization power of the model, allowing LorentzNet to reach highly competitive performance when trained on only a few thousand jets. The numerical results show that the modified equivalent photon spectrum reproduces the exact result within less than one percent. And the corrections of photoproduction processes to the dileptons and photons productions are about $20\%$.

Using a data sample of $4.481\times 10^8 ψ^\prime$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we report the first observation of the four-lepton-decays $J/ψ\to e^+e^-e^+e^-$ and $J/ψ\to e^+e^-μ^+μ^-$ utilizing the process $ψ^\prime\to π^+π^- J/ψ$. The branching fractions are determined to be $[5.48\pm0.31~(\rm stat)\pm0.45~(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$ and $[3.53~\pm0.22~(\rm stat)\pm0.13~(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$, respectively. The results are consistent with theoretical predictions. No significant signal is observed for $J/ψ\to μ^+μ^-μ^+μ^-$, and an upper limit on the branching fraction is set at $1.6\times 10^{-6}$ at the 90$\%$ confidence level. A CP asymmetry observable is constructed for the first two channels, which is measured to be $(-0.012\pm0.054\pm0.010)$ and $(0.062\pm0.059\pm0.006)$, respectively. No evidence for CP violation is observed in this process.

The absolute branching fraction of $Λ\to p μ^- \barν_μ$ is reported for the first time based on an $e^+e^-$ annihilation sample of ten billion $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector at $\sqrt{s}=3.097$ GeV. The branching fraction is determined to be ${\mathcal B}(Λ\to pμ^- \barν_μ) = [1.48\pm0.21(\rm stat) \pm 0.08(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-4}$, which is a significant improvement in precision over the previous indirect measurements. Combining this result with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(Λ\to p e^- \barν_{e})$, we obtain the ratio, $\frac{Γ(Λ\to p μ^- \barν_μ)}{Γ(Λ\to p e^- \barν_{e})}$, to be $0.178 \pm 0.028$, which agrees with the standard model prediction assuming lepton flavor universality. The asymmetry of the branching fractions of $Λ\to p μ^- \barν_μ$ and $\barΛ \to \bar{p} μ^+ ν_μ$ is also determined, and no evidence for $CP$ violation is found.

The $J/ψ$ production originating from elastic and inelastic photoproduction processes in p-p collisions at LHC energies is investigated, where the fragmentation processes are involved. An exact treatment is performed, which adopts the Martin-Ryskin method to weight the contribution from different channels, and can return to Weizsäcker-Williams approximation (WWA) when $Q^{2}\rightarrow0$. The relevant kinematical relations are also achieved. We present a comprehensive analysis for the feature of WWA by comparing with the exact treatment. The results are expressed in $Q^{2}$, $y$, $z$, $p_{T}$, and $y_{r}$ (rapidity) distributions, and the total cross sections are also estimated. The numerical results indicate that, the incoherent-photon emission can provide the meaningful contribution to elastic photoproduction, and starts to play a very important role in the inelastic processes. The photoproduction and fragmentation processes can improve the contribution of $J/ψ$ production in $p$-$p$ collisions at LHC energies. Moreover, the WWA is only effective in very restricted domains, and the exact treatment is needed to deal accurately with the $J/ψ$ photoproduction, which can naturally avoid double counting and WWA errors.

Based on an $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected with the BESIII detector at $\sqrt{s}=3.773 \mathrm{GeV}$, the first amplitude analysis of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay $D^{+}\to K^+ K_S^0 π^0$ is performed. From the amplitude analysis, the $K^*(892)^+ K_S^0$ component is found to be dominant with a fraction of $(57.1\pm2.6\pm4.2)\%$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. In combination with the absolute branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(D^+\to K^+ K_S^0 π^0)$ measured by BESIII, we obtain $\mathcal{B}(D^+\to K^*(892)^+ K_S^0)=(8.69\pm0.40\pm0.64\pm0.51)\times10^{-3}$, where the third uncertainty is due to the branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(D^+\to K^+ K_S^0 π^0)$. The precision of this result is significantly improved compared to the previous measurement.

We report a study of the processes of $e^+e^-\to K^+ (D_s^- D^{*0} + D^{*-}_s D^0)$ based on $e^+e^-$ annihilation samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at BEPCII at five center-of-mass energies ranging from 4.628 to 4.698 GeV with a total integrated luminosity of 3.7 fb$^{-1}$. An excess over the known contributions of the conventional charmed mesons is observed near the $D_s^- D^{*0}$ and $D^{*-}_s D^0$ mass thresholds in the $K^{+}$ recoil-mass spectrum for events collected at $\sqrt{s}=4.681$ GeV. The structure matches a mass-dependent-width Breit-Wigner line shape, whose pole mass and width are determined as $(3982.5^{+1.8}_{-2.6}\pm2.1)$ MeV/$c^2$ and $(12.8^{+5.3}_{-4.4}\pm3.0)$ MeV, respectively. The first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The significance of the resonance hypothesis is estimated to be 5.3 $σ$ over the contributions only from the conventional charmed mesons. This is the first candidate of the charged hidden-charm tetraquark with strangeness, decaying into $D_s^- D^{*0}$ and $D^{*-}_s D^0$. However, the properties of the excess need further exploration with more statistics.

The processes $e^+e^-\to D_s^+ D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ and $e^+e^-\to D_s^{\ast +} D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ are studied for the first time using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross sections of $e^+e^-\to D_s^+ D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ at nine center-of-mass energies between 4.467\,GeV and 4.600\,GeV and those of $e^+e^-\to D_s^{\ast +} D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ at ${\sqrt s}=$ 4.590\,GeV and 4.600\,GeV are measured. No obvious charmonium or charmonium-like structure is seen in the measured cross sections.

The numerical results for them are calculated from the parameters obtained by fitting the model results to the known parametrization. Particularly, we investigate the hadron momentum dependence of the quasi functions as well as compare the quasi distributions to the standard functions at different hadron momentum. We find that in the region $x>0.2$, the quasi distribution are similar to the standard distributions in size and shape when the hadron momentum is larger than $2$ GeV. Our study thus supports the idea of using quasi distributions to obtain standard distributions.

There has recently been a dramatic renewal of interest in the subjects of hadron spectroscopy and charm physics. This renaissance has been driven in part by the discovery of a plethora of charmonium-like $XYZ$ states at BESIII and $B$ factories, and the observation of an intriguing proton-antiproton threshold enhancement and the possibly related $X(1835)$ meson state at BESIII, as well as the threshold measurements of charm mesons and charm baryons.
We present a detailed survey of the important topics in tau-charm physics and hadron physics that can be further explored at BESIII over the remaining lifetime of BEPCII operation. This survey will help in the optimization of the data-taking plan over the coming years, and provides physics motivation for the possible upgrade of BEPCII to higher luminosity.

The photoproduction of large $p_{T}$ dileptons, photons and light vector mesons in p-p, p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions at LHC energies is studied, where the fragmentation processes and the ultra-incoherent photon channel are included. An exact treatment is developed for photoproduction processes in heavy ion collisions, which recovers the equivalent photon approximation (EPA) in the limit $Q^{2}\rightarrow0$ and can avoid double counting effectively. The full kinematical relations are also achieved. We present the results as the distributions in $Q^{2}$, $p_{T}$ and $y_{r}$, the total cross sections are also estimated. The numerical results indicate that: the contribution of photoproduction processes is evident in the large $p_{T}$ and $y_{r}$ regions, and starts to play a fundamental role in p-Pb collisions. The ultra-incoherent photon emission is a important channel of photoproduction processes, which can provide the meaningful contributions. EPA is only applicable in small $y$ and $Q^{2}$ domains, and is very sensitive to the values of $y_{\mathrm{max}}$ and $Q^{2}_{\mathrm{max}}$. The EPA errors appear when $y>0.29$ and $Q^{2}>0.1~\mathrm{GeV}^{2}$, and are rather serious in p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions. When dealing with widely kinematical regions, the exact treatment needs to be adopted.

The process $e^+e^-\rightarrow pK^{0}_{S}\bar{n}K^{-} + c.c.$ and its intermediate processes are studied for the first time, using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII at center-of-mass energies of 3.773, 4.008, 4.226, 4.258, 4.358, 4.416, and 4.600 GeV, with a total integrated luminosity of 7.4 fb$^{-1}$. The Born cross section of $e^+e^- \to p K^{0}_S\bar{n}K^- + c.c.$ is measured at each center-of-mass energy, but no significant resonant structure in the measured cross-section line shape between 3.773 and 4.600 GeV is observed. No evident structure is detected in the $pK^-$, $nK^{0}_S$, $pK^0_{S}$, $nK^+$, $p\bar{n}$, or $K^{0}_S K^-$ invariant mass distributions except for $Λ(1520)$. The Born cross sections of $e^+e^-\rightarrowΛ(1520)\bar{n}K^{0}_{S} + c.c.$ and $e^+e^-\rightarrow Λ(1520)\bar{p}K^{+} + c.c.$ are measured, and the 90\% confidence level upper limits on the Born cross sections of $e^+e^-\rightarrowΛ(1520)\barΛ(1520)$ are determined at the seven center-of-mass energies.

The comparisons between the exact treatment results and the ones of the equivalent photon approximation approach are expressed as the $Q^{2}$ (the virtuality of photon) and $p_{T}$ distributions. The method developed by Martin and Ryskin is used for avoiding double counting when the coherent and incoherent contributions are considered simultaneously. The numerical results indicate that, the equivalent photon approximation is only effective in small $Q^{2}$ region and can be used for coherent photoproduction processes with proper choice of $Q^{2}_{\textrm{max}}$ ( the choices $Q^{2}_{\textrm{max}}\sim \hat{s}$ or $\infty$ will cause obvious errors), but can not be used for incoherent photoproduction processes. The exact treatment is needed to deal accurately with the photoproduction of large $p_{T}$ dileptons and photons.

We study e+e- --> pi+pi-h_c at center-of-mass energies from 3.90 GeV to 4.42 GeV using data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the Bei**g Electron Positron Collider. The Born cross sections are measured at 13 energies, and are found to be of the same order of magnitude as those of e+e- --> pi+pi-J/psi but with a different line shape. In the π^\pm h_c mass spectrum, a distinct structure, referred to as Z_c(4020), is observed at 4.02 GeV/c^2. The Z_c(4020) carries an electric charge and couples to charmonium. A fit to the π^\pm h_c invariant mass spectrum, neglecting possible interferences, results in a mass of (4022.9\pm 0.8\pm 2.7) MeV/c^2 and a width of (7.9\pm 2.7\pm 2.6) MeV for the Z_c(4020), where the first errors are statistical and the second systematic. No significant Z_c(3900) signal is observed, and upper limits on the Z_c(3900) production cross sections in π^\pm h_c at center-of-mass energies of 4.23 and 4.26 GeV are set.

Its production ratio $\frac{σ(e^+e^-\to Z^{\pm}_c(4025)π^\mp \to (D^{*} \bar{D}^{*})^{\pm} π^\mp)}{σ(e^+e^-\to (D^{*} \bar{D}^{*})^{\pm} π^\mp)}$ is determined to be $0.65\pm0.09\pm0.06$. The first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.

We study the process e+e- to pi+pi-J/psi at a center-of-mass energy of 4.260 GeV using a 525 pb^{-1} data sample collected with the BESIII detector operating at the Bei**g Electron Positron Collider. The Born cross section is measured to be (62.9\pm 1.9\pm 3.7) pb, consistent with the production of the Y(4260). We observe a structure at around 3.9 GeV/c^2 in the π^\pm J/psi mass spectrum, which we refer to as the Z_c(3900). If interpreted as a new particle, it is unusual in that it carries an electric charge and couples to charmonium. A fit to the π^\pm J/psi invariant mass spectrum, neglecting interference, results in a mass of (3899.0\pm 3.6\pm 4.9) MeV/c^2 and a width of (46\pm 10\pm 20) MeV. Its production ratio is measured to be R=\frac{σ(e+e- to π^\pm Z_c(3900)^\mp to pi+pi-J/psi))} {σ(e+e- to pi+pi-J/psi)}=(21.5\pm 3.3\pm 7.5)%. In all measurements the first errors are statistical and the second are systematic.

These are the first upper limit values determined for $η$ and $η^\prime$ semileptonic weak decays.

First observation of the isospin violating decay $J/ψ\rightarrow Λ\barΣ^{0}+c.c.$

Using a sample of $(225.2\pm 2.8)\times 10^6$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we present results of a study of $J/ψ\rightarrow γΛ\barΛ$ and report the first observation of the isospin violating decay $J/ψ\rightarrowΛ\barΣ^{0}+c.c.$, in which $\barΣ^{0}$ decays to $γ\barΛ$. Using a sample of $(225.2\pm 2.8)\times 10^6$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we present results of a study of $J/ψ\rightarrow γΛ\barΛ$ and report the first observation of the isospin violating decay $J/ψ\rightarrowΛ\barΣ^{0}+c.c.$, in which $\barΣ^{0}$ decays to $γ\barΛ$. The measured branching fractions are $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\rightarrow\barΛΣ^{0}$) = $(1.46\pm0.11\pm0.12) \times10^{-5}$ and $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\rightarrowΛ\bar{Σ^{0}}$) = $(1.37\pm0.12\pm0.11) \times10^{-5}$. We search for $Λ(1520) \rightarrow γΛ$ decay, and find no evident signal, and an upper limit for the product branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\rightarrowΛ\barΛ(1520)+c.c.)\times \mathcal{B}(Λ(1520)\rightarrowγΛ)<4.1 \times10^{-6}$ is set at the 90% confidence level. We also report the observation of $η_{c}\rightarrowΛ\barΛ$ in $J/ψ\rightarrow γη_{c}$, $η_{c}\rightarrowΛ\barΛ$ and measure the branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(η_{c}\rightarrowΛ\barΛ) =(1.16\pm0.12 (stat)\pm0.19(syst)\pm0.28(PDG))\times10^{-3}$.

In addition, the product branching fractions of sequential $E1$ transitions $ψ(3686)\toγχ_{cJ}, χ_{cJ}\toγJ/ψ(J=0,1,2)$ are reported.

We investigate the correlations between the scalar meson configurations and Okuba-Zweig-Iizuka (OZI) rule violations in the hadronic decays of heavy quarkonia, e.g. $J/ψ$ and $Υ$, into isoscalar vector meson ($φ$ and $ω$) and scalar mesons ($f_0(1710)$, $f_0(1500)$, and $f_0(1370)$). Production Ratios of Strange Baryons from QGP with Diquarks

Abstract:
Assuming that vector and scalar diquarks exist in the Quark-Gluon Plasma near the critical temporature $T_c$, baryons can be produced through the processes of quarks and diquarks forming $({1/2})^+$ baryon states. Ratios of different baryons can be estimated through this method, if such kind of QGP with diquarks can exists.
