In this paper, we propose an experiment, LANSCE-mQ, aiming to detect fractionally charged and millicharged particles (mCP) using an 800 MeV proton beam fixed target at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) facility. This search can shed new light on numerous fundamental questions, including charge quantization, the predictions of string theories and grand unification theories, the gauge symmetry of the Standard Model, dark sector models, and the tests of cosmic reheating. We propose to install two-layer scintillation detectors made of plastic (such as EJ-200) or CeBr3 to search for mCPs. Dedicated Geant4 detector simulations and in situ measurements have been conducted to obtain a preliminary determination of the background rate. The dominant backgrounds are beam-induced neutrons and coincident dark current signals from the photomultiplier tubes, while beam-induced gammas and cosmic muons are subdominant. We determined that LANSCE-mQ, the dedicated mCP experiment, has the leading mCP sensitivity for mass between ~ 1 MeV to 300 MeV.

Within the framework of the quark delocalization color screening model, a systematic investigation of the anticharmed-strange pentaquark system is performed using the resonance group method. The currently estimations predict three bound states with estimated masses to be 2886 MeV, 3039 MeV, and 3153 MeV, respectively. Additionally, three resonance states are identified in various scattering phase shifts processes. Among them, two resonance states $ΣD$ and $Σ^{\ast}D^{\ast}$ with quantum number $\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$ are detected in channels $ND_{s}^{\ast}$ and $ND$, and $ΣD^{\ast}$ and $ΛD$, with masses and decay widths of ($M_{R}=3053\sim3055$ MeV, $T_{total}=13.0\sim13.4$ MeV) and ($M_{R}=3389\sim3390$ MeV, $T_{total}=10.4$ MeV), respectively. In the $ΛD^{\ast}$ and $ΣD^{\ast}$ channels, a resonance state with quantum number $\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$ is discovered, with its mass and decay width being $3250\sim3252$ MeV and 4.4 MeV, respectively. These predicted pentaquark states have $\bar{c}snnn$ quark compositions, allowing them to be recognized as genuine pentaquark states. To validate these predictions, it is expected that upcoming experiments will further explore the predicted resonance and bound states in these possible decay channels.

The spinning gluon in these collisions will introduce a significant nonzero $\cos(2φ)$ asymmetries in both Higgs Boson and top quark pair productions. The genesis of the $\cos(2φ)$ correlation lies in the intricate quantum entanglement. Owing to the substantial $\cos(2φ)$ effect, the NEEC observable in Higgs Boson and $t{\bar t}$ production emerges as a pivotal avenue for delving into quantum entanglement and scrutinizing the Bell inequality at high-energy colliders.

We investigated the pionic transitions between the $X_2$ [spin-2 partner of the $X(3872)$] and $χ_{c1,2}$ using a nonrelativistic effective field theory. The $X_2$ is assumed to be a bound state of the $D^{*}$ and $\bar{D}^*$ mesons and to decay through several kinds of loops, including the bubble, triangle and box loops. Within the present model, the widths for the single-pion decays $X_2\toπ^0χ_{cJ}$ are predicted to be about $3$--$30$ keV. For the dipion decays, the widths are a few keVs. These widths yield a branching fraction of $10^{-3}$--$10^{-2}$. The ratio $R_{\mathrm{c}0}=Γ(X_2\toπ^+π^-χ_{cJ})/Γ(X_2\toπ^0π^0χ_{cJ}) \simeq 1.6$, which is a bit smaller than the expected value of $2$, and $R_{21}=Γ(X_2\toππχ_{c2})/Γ(X_2\toππχ_{c1}) \simeq 0.85$. These ratios are nearly independent of the $X_2$ mass and the coupling constants, which might be a good quantity for the experiments. Moreover, the invariant mass spectra of the $π^0χ_{cJ}$ final state for the dipion processes are presented, showing a cusp structure at the $D {\bar D}^*$ threshold enhanced and narrowed by the nearby triangle singularity.

The invisible decay includes two decay modes: $ n \rightarrow { inv} $ and $ nn \rightarrow { inv} $. The invisible decays of $s$-shell neutrons in $^{12}{\rm C}$ will leave a highly excited residual nucleus. Subsequently, some de-excitation modes of the excited residual nuclei can produce a time- and space-correlated triple coincidence signal in the JUNO detector. Based on a full Monte Carlo simulation informed with the latest available data, we estimate all backgrounds, including inverse beta decay events of the reactor antineutrino $\barν_e$, natural radioactivity, cosmogenic isotopes and neutral current interactions of atmospheric neutrinos. Pulse shape discrimination and multivariate analysis techniques are employed to further suppress backgrounds. With two years of exposure, JUNO is expected to give an order of magnitude improvement compared to the current best limits. After 10 years of data taking, the JUNO expected sensitivities at a 90% confidence level are $τ/B( n \rightarrow { inv} ) > 5.0 \times 10^{31} \, {\rm yr}$ and $τ/B( nn \rightarrow { inv} ) > 1.4 \times 10^{32} \, {\rm yr}$.

The block-triangular form has orders of magnitude fewer equations compared to the plain integration-by-parts system, allowing for strictly block-by-block solutions. This results in faster evaluations and reduced resource consumption. We elucidate the algorithms involved in obtaining the block-triangular form along with their implementations. Additionally, we introduce novel algorithms for finding the canonical form and symmetry relations of Feynman integrals, as well as for performing spanning-sector reduction. Our benchmarks for various state-of-the-art problems demonstrate that Blade is remarkably competitive among existing reduction tools. Furthermore, the Blade package offers several distinctive features, including support for complex kinematic variables or masses, user-defined Feynman prescriptions for each propagator, and general integrands.

We propose to measure the energy correlator in quarkonium production, which tracks the energy deposited in the calorimeter $χ$-angular distance away from the identified quarkonium. The observable eliminates the need for jets while sustaining the perturbative predictive power. Analyzing the power correction to the energy correlator, we demonstrate the novel observable supplies a unique gateway to probing the hadronization, especially when $\cosχ\gtrsim 0$ in the quarkonium rest frame where the perturbative emissions are depleted due to the dead-cone effects. We expect the quarkonium energy correlator to add a new dimension to quarkonium studies.

Extensive experimentation on the Calo-challenge dataset underscores the efficiency of our approach, showcasing a remarkable improvement in the generation speed compared with conventional method by a factor of 2000. Remarkably, our model achieves the generation of calorimeter showers within milliseconds. The second "Mineral Detection of Neutrinos and Dark Matter" (MDvDM'24) meeting was held January 8-11, 2024 in Arlington, VA, USA, hosted by Virginia Tech's Center for Neutrino Physics. This document collects contributions from this workshop, providing an overview of activities in the field. MDvDM'24 was the second topical workshop dedicated to the emerging field of mineral detection of neutrinos and dark matter, following a meeting hosted by IFPU in Trieste, Italy in October 2022. Mineral detectors have been proposed for a wide variety of applications, including searching for dark matter, measuring various fluxes of astrophysical neutrinos over gigayear timescales, monitoring nuclear reactors, and nuclear disarmament protocols; both as paleo-detectors using natural minerals that could have recorded the traces of nuclear recoils for timescales as long as a billion years and as detectors recording nuclear recoil events on laboratory timescales using natural or artificial minerals. Contributions to this proceedings discuss the vast physics potential, the progress in experimental studies, and the numerous challenges lying ahead on the path towards mineral detection. These include a better understanding of the formation and annealing of recoil defects in crystals; identifying the best classes of minerals and, for paleo-detectors, understanding their geology; modeling and control of the relevant backgrounds; develo**, combining, and scaling up imaging and data analysis techniques; and many others. During the last years, MDvDM has grown rapidly and gained attention. Small-scale experimental efforts focused on establishing various microscopic readout techniques are underway at institutions in North America, Europe and Asia. We are looking ahead to an exciting future full of challenges to overcome, surprises to be encountered, and discoveries lying ahead of us.

In this work, we make a study of $T_{cc}^+$ state observed by the LHCb collaboration in 2021. In obtaining the effective potentials using the One-Boson-Exchange Potential Model we use an exponential form factor, and find that in the short and medium range, the contributions of the $π$, $ρ$ and $ω$ exchanges are comparable while in the long range the pion-exchange contribution is dominant. Based on the assumption that $T_{cc}^+$ is a loosely bound state of $D^*D$, we focus on its three-body decay using the meson-exchange method. Considering that the difference between the thresholds of $D^{*+}D^0$ and $D^{*0}D^+$ is even larger than the binding energy of $T_{cc}^+$, the isospin-breaking effect is amplified by the small binding energy of $T_{cc}^+$. Explicitly including such an isospin-breaking effect we obtain, by solving the Schrödinger equation, that the probability of the isoscalar component is about $91\%$ while that of the isovector component is around $9\%$ for $T_{cc}^+$. Using the experimental value of the mass of $T_{cc}^+$ as an input, we obtain the wave function of $T_{cc}^+$ and further obtain its width via the three-body hadronic as well as the radiative decays. The total width we obtain is in agreement with the experimental value of the LHCb measurement with a unitarised Breit-Wigner profile. Conversely, the current results support the conclusion that $T_{cc}^+$ is a hadronic molecule of $D^*D$.

Our results can predict a serial of possible $S-$wave $Ξ_c^{(\prime,*)}N$ molecular candidates. The one-pion-exchange model together with the coupled channel effects play an important role in generating the $Ξ_cN$ bound states with $I(J^P)=0(0^+)$ and $0(1^+)$, the one-pion-exchange effective potentials are strong enough to bind the $Ξ_c^{\prime}N$ states with $I(J^P)=0(0^+)$ and $0(1^+)$ and $Ξ_c^*N$ states with $I(J^P)=0(1^+)$ and $0(2^+)$, and the intermediate range and short range force originating from the scalar meson and the vector mesons exchanges interactions are essential in formative to the isovector $S-$wave $Ξ_c^{(\prime,*)}N$. In this work, the production of the hidden-strange pentaquarklike state $N^{*}(2080)$ via the $π^{-} p$ scattering process is studied by the effective Lagrangian approach. Concretely, we consider the $ρ$ meson exchange of $t$-channel and the nucleon exchange of $u$-channel, which are treated as the background terms, and take into account the contribution of the $N^{*}(2080)$ via the $s$-channel as a signal term. By global fitting of the total and differential cross sections of the $π^{-} p\rightarrowφn$ process, it is shown that the $N^{*}(2080)$ contributes an obvious peak at the threshold energy point of the differential cross section at the forward angle ($\cosθ= 1$), which provides clues to the detection of the $N^{*}(2080)$ by the $π^{-} p$ scattering process. However, due to the limited accuracy of the experimental data, it is an objective limitation for us to determine the properties of the $N^{*}(2080)$ by the $π^{-} p$ scattering process. Therefore, more accurate experimental measurements of the $π^{-} p\rightarrowφn$ reaction are highly desirable, and we have also proposed that correlation measurements can be performed on J-PARC, AMBER, and future HIKE and HIAF meson beam experiments.

Inspired by that Belle\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral2} Collaboration recently reported $T_{cc}$, which can be interpreted as a molecular $DD^{*}$, we investigated the trihadron system of $T_{cc}$ partner with $IJ^{P}$=$01^{-}$ in the framework of a chiral quark model. It's widely accepted that the main component of $X(3872)$ contains the molecular $\bar{D}D^{*}$, while the main component of $D_{s0}^{*}(2317)$ is molecular $DK$. Based on these three well-known exotic states, $T_{cc} (DD^{*})$, $X(3872) (\bar{D}D^{*})$ and $D_{s0}^{*}(2317) (DK)$, we dynamically investigate $D^{*}DK$ and $DD^{*}\bar{D}$ systems at quark level to search for possible bound states. The results show that both of them are bound states, in which the binding energy of the molecular state $DD^*K$ is relatively small, only 0.8 MeV, while the binding energy of $DD^*\bar{D}$ is up to 1.9 MeV. According to the calculation results of the Root-square-mean distances, the spatial structure of the two systems shows obvious ($DD^*$)-($\bar{D}$/$K$) structure, in which $D$ is close to $D^*$ while $DD^*$ as a whole is relatively distant from the third hadron ($\bar{D}$/$K$), which are similar to the nucleon-electron structure. As a result, we strongly recommend that these bound states $DD^*\bar{D}$ and $DD^*K$ are searched for experimentally.

There is a novel concept that detecting $χ$ from evaporating primordial black holes (PBHs). We search for $χ$ emitted from PBHs by investigating their interaction with target electrons. The examined PBH masses range from 1$\times$10$^{15}$ to 7$\times$10$^{16}$ g under the current limits of PBH abundance $f_{PBH}$. Using 205.4 kg$\cdot$day data obtained from the CDEX-10 experiment conducted in the China **** Underground Laboratory, we exclude the $χ$--electron ($χ$--$e$) elastic-scattering cross section $σ_{χe} \sim 5\times10^{-29}$ cm$^2$ for $χ$ with a mass $m_χ\lesssim$ 0.1 keV from our results. If ($m_χ$, $σ_{χe}$) can be determined in the future, DD experiments are expected to impose strong constraints on $f_{PBH}$ for large $M_{PBH}$s.

In order to unravel the composition of the isoscalar $DN$, $D^*N$, $D_1N$, and $D_2^*N$ molecular pentaquarks, we carry out a systematic investigation of their M1 radiative decays and magnetic moment properties. Using the constituent quark model and taking into account the $S$-$D$ wave mixing effect and the coupled channel effect, our analysis yields numerical results indicating that the M1 radiative decays and the magnetic moment properties of these molecular pentaquarks provide some insights into their inner structures. These results can serve as crucial clues for distinguishing their spin-parity quantum numbers and configurations in experimental studies. In addition, we highlight the importance of the electromagnetic properties as key observables for elucidating the inner structures of the observed $Λ_c^{+} (2940)$ and $Λ_c^{+} (2910)$. We hope that these discoveries will inspire our experimental colleagues to further explore the family of the single-charm molecular pentaquarks and to investigate the inner structures of the $Λ_c^{+} (2940)$ and $Λ_c^{+} (2910)$ in future studies.

We report a first study of the semileptonic decay $D^0\rightarrow K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ by analyzing an $e^+e^-$ annihilation data sample of $7.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector. The absolute branching fraction of $D^0\to K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ is measured for the first time to be $(0.729 \pm 0.014_{\rm stat} \pm 0.011_{\rm syst})\%$. Based on an amplitude analysis, the $S\text{-}{\rm wave}$ contribution is determined to be $(5.76 \pm 0.35_{\rm stat} \pm 0.29_{\rm syst})\%$ of the total decay rate in addition to the dominated $K^{*}(892)^-$ component. The branching fraction of $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ is given to be $(2.062 \pm 0.039_{\rm stat} \pm 0.032_{\rm syst})\%$, which improves the precision of the world average by a factor of 5. Combining with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)$, the ratio of the branching fractions obtained is $\frac{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ)}{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)} = 0.96\pm0.08$, in agreement with lepton flavor universality. Furthermore, assuming single-pole dominance parameterization, the most precise hadronic form factor ratios for $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^{-} μ^+ν_μ$ are extracted to be $r_{V}=V(0)/A_1(0)=1.37 \pm 0.09_{\rm stat} \pm 0.03_{\rm syst}$ and $r_{2}=A_2(0)/A_1(0)=0.76 \pm 0.06_{\rm stat} \pm 0.02_{\rm syst}$.

Inspired by the recent Altas and CMS experiments on the invariant mass spectrum of $J/ψJ/ψ$, we systematically study the $c\bar{c}c\bar{c}$ system of $J^{P}=0^{+}$. In the framework of chiral quark model, we have carried out bound-state calculation and resonance-state calculation respectively by using Real-scaling method. The results of bound-state calculation show that there are no bound states in the $c\bar{c}c\bar{c}$ with $0^{+}$ system. The resonance-state calculation shows that there are four possible stable resonances: $R(6920)$, $R(7000)$, $R(7080)$ and $R(7160)$. $R(6920)$ and $R(7160)$ are experimental candidates for $X(6900)$ and $X(7200)$, whose main decay channel is $J/ψJ/ψ$. It is important to note that the another major decay channel of $R(7160)$ is $χ_{c0} χ_{c0} $, and the $χ_{c0} χ_{c0} $ is also the main decay channel of $R(7000)$, $R(7080)$. Therefore, we propose to search experimentally for these two predicted resonances in the $χ_{c0} χ_{c0}$ invariant mass spectrum.

We introduce a novel category of observables known as the Semi-Inclusive Energy Correlators (SIECs), an extension of the recently proposed nucleon energy correlator to integrate a new element, the fragmenting energy correlation function. These SIECs gauge the correlation between the examined hadron and the surrounding radiations, providing a comprehensive tomography of the radiative patterns originating from initial state radiation or parton fragmentation. As such, they could function as the generating functions for numerous kinematic distributions. To illustrate, we find a direct relation between the transverse momentum moments (TMMs) of the transverse momentum-dependent (TMD) distributions and the SIECs. We demonstrate how the TMMs of the TMD parton distributions and the fragmentation functions can be distinctively derived from the nucleon energy correlator and the fragmenting energy correlator, respectively, without enforcing the back-to-back kinematics.

Recently, the BESIII collaboration performed a precise measurement of the $e^+e^-\to ηJ/ψ$ cross section. It is puzzling that the resonance parameters of the reported $Y(4230)$ show a substantial divergence from the previously measured results in both the open-charmed and hidden-charmed decay channels, and the line shape asymmetry of the data approaching 4.2 GeV also suggests that it might be difficult to characterize the details of the structure around 4.2 GeV by a single resonance. This has motivated our great curiosity about how the charmonium states are distributed in the measured energy range and how they shape the puzzling data of the $e^+e^-\to ηJ/ψ$ cross section. In this work, we use five theoretically constructed charmonia in the range of $4.0\rm{-}4.5$ $\text{GeV}$, i.e., $ψ(4040)$, $ψ(4160)$, $ψ(4220)$, $ψ(4380)$, and $ψ(4415)$, to apply a combined fit to the data, in which their calculated decay ratios into $ηJ/ψ$ via hadronic loop mechanism are taken as input. The fit results can reproduce the measured cross section data well, especially for the subtle line shape around 4.2 GeV, showing that the structure around 4.2 GeV is possible from the contribution of both $ψ(4160)$ and $ψ(4220)$.

Since the quark model was put forward, theoretical researchers have always attached great importance to the study of hidden color channels (including color octets and diquark structure). Because of the influence of color Van der waals forces, the hidden color channel itself has strong attraction, which provides a dynamic mechanism for the formation of resonance state or bound state. In this paper, taking the $T_{cc}$ system as an example, under the framework of multi-Gaussian expansion method, a set of relatively complete color singlets (that is, the ground state of the color singlet plus its corresponding higher-order component) is used to replace the contribution of the color octet. Similarly, we endeavor to replace the diquark structure with a relatively complete set of molecular states, encompassing both the ground state and excited states. Our results demonstrate that the color octet structure can be effectively replaced by a set of relatively complete color singlet bases, while the diquark structure cannot be entirely substituted by an equivalently comprehensive set of molecular state bases.

We analyze a general class of locally supersymmetric, CP and modular invariant models of lepton masses depending on two complex moduli taking values in the vicinity of a fixed point, where the theory enjoys a residual symmetry under a finite group. Like in models that depend on a single modulus, we find that all physical quantities exhibit a universal scaling with the distance from the fixed point. There is no dependence on the level of the construction, the weights of matter multiplets and their representations, with the only restriction that electroweak lepton doublets transform as irreducible triplets of the finite modular group. Also the form of the kinetic terms, which here are assumed to be neither minimal nor flavor blind, is irrelevant to the outcome. The result is remarkably simple and the whole class of examined theories gives rise to five independent patterns of neutrino mass matrices. Only in one of them, the predicted scaling agrees with the observed neutrino mass ratios and lepton mixing angles, exactly as in single modulus theories living close to $τ=i$.

We investigate the role of the electromagnetic interaction in the formation and decay of the $X(3872)$. The binding properties of the $X(3872)$ are studied by assuming the molecular nature and considering the $S$-$D$ wave mixing, isospin breaking, and coupled channel effects, and in particular the correction from the electromagnetic interaction. The radiative decays can better reflect the difference between the charged and neutral $D\bar D^*$ components, since the electromagnetic interaction explicitly breaks the isospin symmetry. We further study the radiative decay widths with the obtained wave functions for different $D\bar D^*$ channels. We also explore other similar hidden-charm molecular states. The electromagnetic interaction can make the molecule tighter. Our result of the radiative decay width for $X(3872)\rightarrow γJ/ψ$ is in agreement with the experiment. The branching ratio $R_{γψ}$ is less than 1 in our framework, which supports the Belle and BESIII measurements.

The jet composition of GRB plays an important role in understanding the energy dissipation and radiation mechanisms in GRB physics, but it is poorly constrained from the observational data. Recently, an interesting long-duration GRB 230307A with redshift $z=$0.065 has attracted great attention. The lack of detected thermal emission and mini-structure of prompt emission lightcurve of this burst suggest that the outflow is Poynting-flux-dominated and point towards the ICMART model. In this paper, we invoke two independent methods to investigate the jet composition of GRB 230307A. The high magnetization parameter ($σ>7$ or ever large) for$R_0=10^{10}$ cm that is used to suppress thermal component, strongly suggests that a significant fraction of the outflow energy is likely in a Poynting flux entrained with the baryonic matter. Moreover, it is found that the radiation efficiency of this burst for typical values $ε_e=0.1$ and $ε_B=0.01$ can reach as high as $~50\%$ which disfavors the internal shock model, but is consistent with ICMART model. Finally, a possible unified picture to produce GRB 230307A originated from a compact star merger is also discussed.

In modular invariant models of flavor, observables must be modular invariant. The observables discussed so far in the literature are functions of the modulus $τ$ and its conjugate, $\barτ$. We point out that certain combinations of observables depend only on $τ$, i.e. are meromorphic, and in some cases even holomorphic functions of $τ$. These functions, which we dub ``invariants'' in this Letter, are highly constrained, renormalization group invariant, and allow us to derive many of the models' features without the need for extensive parameter scans. We illustrate the robustness of these invariants in two existing models in the literature based on modular symmetries, $Γ_{3}$ and $Γ_{5}$. We find that, in some cases, the invariants give rise to robust relations among physical observables that are independent of $τ$. Furthermore, there are instances where additional symmetries exist among the invariants. These symmetries are relevant phenomenologically and may provide a dynamical way to realize symmetries of mass matrices.

The full data set of the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment is used to probe the effect of the charged current non-standard interactions (CC-NSI) on neutrino oscillation experiments. Two different approaches are applied and constraints on the corresponding CC-NSI parameters are obtained with the neutrino flux taken from the Huber-Mueller model with a $5\%$ uncertainty. For the quantum mechanics-based approach (QM-NSI), the constraints on the CC-NSI parameters $ε_{eα}$ and $ε_{eα}^{s}$ are extracted with and without the assumption that the effects of the new physics are the same in the production and detection processes, respectively. The approach based on the weak effective field theory (WEFT-NSI) deals with four types of CC-NSI represented by the parameters $[\varepsilon_{X}]_{eα}$. For both approaches, the results for the CC-NSI parameters are shown for cases with various fixed values of the CC-NSI and the Dirac CP-violating phases, and when they are allowed to vary freely. We find that constraints on the QM-NSI parameters $ε_{eα}$ and $ε_{eα}^{s}$ from the Daya Bay experiment alone can reach the order $\mathcal{O}(0.01)$ for the former and $\mathcal{O}(0.1)$ for the latter, while for WEFT-NSI parameters $[\varepsilon_{X}]_{eα}$, we obtain $\mathcal{O}(0.1)$ for both cases.

We investigate the temperature-dependent production of feebly interacting massive dark matter particle (FIMP DM) within a $Z_2$ model, incorporating two $Z_2$-odd scalar fields. In specific parameter regions, three distinct mechanisms individually dominate the production of the FIMP DM. These mechanisms include the semi-production process, commonly known as the ``exponential growth'' process, the production from pair annihilations of the bath particles, and the three-body decay process. It is crucial to consider the thermal history during the evolution of FIMPs, as it involves multiple phase transitions occurring prior to the freeze-in of dark matter. Consequently, the scalar masses experience thermal variations, leading to a distinctive evolutionary trajectory for FIMPs when compared to scenarios without accounting for the thermal effects. Notably, the unique pattern of FIMP evolution is accompanied by the production of gravitational waves, presenting promising opportunities for detection using forthcoming interferometers.

We present a calculation of the bosonic contribution to the two-loop mixed QCD-electroweak scattering amplitudes for $Z$-boson production in association with one hard jet at hadron colliders. We employ a method to calculate amplitudes in the 't Hooft-Veltman scheme that reduces the amount of spurious non-physical information needed at intermediate stages of the computation, to keep the complexity of the calculation under control. We compute all the relevant Feynman integrals numerically using the Auxiliary Mass Flow method. We evaluate the two-loop scattering amplitudes on a two-dimensional grid in the rapidity and transverse momentum of the $Z$ boson, which has been designed to yield a reliable numerical sampling of the boosted-$Z$ region. This result provides an important building block for improving the theoretical modelling of a key background for monojet searches at the LHC.

The first describes the $Λ(1670)$ as a bare three-quark basis state, which mixes with the $πΣ$, $\bar{K}N$, $ηΛ$ and $KΞ$ meson-baryon channels. In the second scenario, the $Λ(1670)$ is dynamically generated from these isospin-0 coupled channels. The $K^-p$ scattering data and the pole structures of the $Λ(1405)$ and the $Λ(1670)$ can be simultaneously described well in both scenarios. However, a comparison of the finite-volume spectra to lattice QCD calculations reveals significant differences between these scenarios, with a clear preference for the first case. Thus the lattice QCD results play a crucial role in allowing us to distinguish between these two scenarios for the internal structure of the $Λ(1670)$.

We compute the one-loop corrections to \tth up to order $\mathcal{O}(ε^2)$ in the dimensional regularization parameter. We apply the projector method to compute polarized amplitudes, which generalize massless helicity amplitudes to the massive case. We employ a semi-numerical strategy to evaluate the scattering amplitudes. We express the form factors through scalar integrals analytically, and obtain separately integration by parts reduction identities in compact form. We integrate numerically the corresponding master integrals with an enhanced implementation of the Auxiliary Mass Flow algorithm. Using a numerical fit method, we concatenate the analytic and the numeric results, to obtain fast and reliable evaluation of the scattering amplitude. This approach improves numerical stability and evaluation time. Our results are implemented in the \texttt{Mathematica} package \texttt{TTH}.

Motivated by the LHCb Collaboration's observation of a doubly charmed tetraquark state $T_{cc}(3875)$, we systematically investigate the existence of doubly charmed pentaquark states using the resonating group method based on the QDCSM framework. The effective potential of the two involved hadrons and the bound state dynamics are included in the present work. Moreover, we have also calculated the scattering phase shifts of open channels by channel coupling to look for possible resonance states. Our estimations indicate that there is a bound state in $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{5}{2}^{-})$, with a mass of $4461.7$ MeV. Additionally, five resonance states can be obtained by coupling the open channel, which are $Ξ_{cc}ρ$ and $Σ_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$, $Λ_{c}D^{\ast}$ and $Σ_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$ and $Σ_{c}D^{\ast}$ with $I(J^{P})=\frac{3}{2}(\frac{1}{2}^{-})$respectively. The existence of these predicted doubly charmed pentaquark states needs to be supported by experimental measurements and discoveries. We hope that some experiments can find evidence of these states.

A conclusive finding is that the existence of deeply bound charmonium-like molecules must indicate the existence of $S$-wave deeply bound $C$-parity partners. While no radially excited $S$-wave resonances were found, our results suggest the existence of $P$-wave $D \bar D_1$, $D^* \bar D_1$, and $D^* \bar D_2^*$ molecular resonances. We expect future experiments to search for such molecular resonances predicted here, which will not only enrich the ongoing construction of "Particle Zoo 2.0" but also provide a crucial hint to scrutinize the assignments of hadronic molecules to the $Y(4220)$, $Y(4360)$, and $ψ(4415)$ states.

In this work, by including the important contributions from the vertex corrections, we study the decays $B^0 \to J/ψf_0$ within the improved perturbative QCD approach and analyze the possible scalar glueball hunting. Together with the two mixing models, namely, $f_0(1500) (f_0(1710))$ being the primary scalar glueball in model I (II), and two classification scenarios, namely, $f_0$ being the $q\bar q$ excited (ground) states in scenario 1 (2), the branching fractions associated with their ratios for $B^0 \to J/ψf_0$ are evaluated comprehensively. The predictions with still large uncertainties in the considered two mixing models are roughly consistent with currently limited data, which indicates that both more rich data and more precise predictions are urgently demanded to figure out the scalar glueball clearly in the future. Moreover, several interesting ratios between the branching fractions of $B^0 \to J/ψf_0(\to π^+ π^-/K^+ K^-)$ and $B^0 \to J/ψρ^0/φ(\to π^+ π^-/ K^+ K^-)$ that could help us to understand the nature of scalar $f_0$ are defined and predicted theoretically. These ratios should be examined in future experiments.

Inspired by the structure of top-down derived models endowed with modular flavor symmetries, we investigate the yet phenomenologically unexplored binary dihedral group 2D_3. After building the vector-valued modular forms in the representations of 2D_3 with small modular weights, we systematically classify all (Dirac and Majorana) mass textures of fermions with fractional modular weights and all possible 2+1-family structures. This allows us to explore the parameter space of fermion models based on 2D_3, aiming at a description of both quarks and leptons with a minimal number of parameters and best compatibility with observed data. We consider the separate possibilities of neutrino masses generated by either a type-I seesaw mechanism or the Weinberg operator. We identify a model that, besides fitting all known flavor observables, delivers predictions for six not-yet measured parameters and favors normal-ordered neutrino masses generated by the Weinberg operator. It would be interesting to figure out whether it is possible to embed our model within a top-down scheme, such as T2/Z4 heterotic orbifold compactifications.

Gauge/gravity duality is used to study properties of the doubly heavy baryon $(\mathrm{QQq})$ at finite rapidity and temperature in the heavy-ion collision. We investigate the impact of rapidity on string breaking and screening of $\mathrm{QQq}$, and compare these effects with the results for $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ in detail. Computations reveal that the string-breaking distances of $\mathrm{QQq}$ and $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ are close in the confined state and the effects of rapidity and temperature on the string breaking are not significant. An interesting result shows that $\mathrm{QQq}$ cannot be found at high enough temperatures and rapidities; however, $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ can exist under any conditions as long as the separation distance is small enough. Besides, the screening distances of $\mathrm{QQq}$ and $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ are also compared at finite rapidity and temperature. Based on the above analysis, we infer that $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ is more stable than $\mathrm{QQq}$ at finite rapidity and temperature.

The three-body systems $ηK^* \bar{K}^*$, $πK^* \bar{K}^*$, and $K K^* \bar{K}^*$ are further investigated within the framework of fixed-center approximation, where $K^* \bar{K}^*$ is treated as the fixed-center, corresponding to the possible scalar meson $a_0(1780)$ or the tensor meson $f_2'(1525)$. The interactions between $η$, $π$, $K$, and $K^*$ are taken from the chiral unitary approach. The resonance structures appear in the modulus squared of the three-body scattering amplitude and suggest that $η/ π/ K$-$(K^*\bar{K}^*)_{a_0(1780)/f'_2(1525)}$ hadron state can be formed. By scattering the $η$ meson on the fixed-center $(K^* \bar{K}^*)_{a_0(1780)}$, it is found that there is a distinct peak around 2100 MeV, as shown in the modulus squared of the three-body scattering amplitude, which can be associated with the meson $π(2070)$. For the scattering of the $η$ meson on the $(K^* \bar{K}^*)_{f_2'(1525)}$, a resonance structure around 1890 MeV is found and it can be associated with the $η_2(1870)$ meson. Other resonance structures are also found and can be associated with $π_2(1880)$ and $η(2010)$.

Recently a dark matter-electron (DM-electron) paradigm has drawn much attention. Models beyond the standard halo model describing DM accelerated by high energy celestial bodies are under intense examination as well. In this Letter, a velocity components analysis (VCA) method dedicated to swift analysis of accelerated DM-electron interactions via semiconductor detectors is proposed and the first HPGe detector-based accelerated DM-electron analysis is realized. Utilizing the method, the first germanium based constraint on sub-GeV solar reflected DM-electron interaction is presented with the 205.4 kg$\cdot$day dataset from the CDEX-10 experiment. In the heavy mediator scenario, our result excels in the mass range of 5$-$15 keV/$c^2$, achieving a 3 orders of magnitude improvement comparing with previous semiconductor experiments. In the light mediator scenario, the strongest laboratory constraint for DM lighter than 0.1 MeV/$c^2$ is presented. The result proves the feasibility and demonstrates the vast potential of the VCA technique in future accelerated DM-electron analyses with semiconductor detectors.

We place observational constraints on a dark energy (DE) model in which a quintessence scalar field $φ$ is coupled to dark matter (DM) through momentum and energy exchanges. The momentum transfer is weighed by an interaction between the field derivative and DM four velocity with a coupling constant $β$, whereas the energy exchange is characterized by an exponential scalar-field coupling to the DM density with a coupling constant $Q$. A positive coupling $β$ leads to the suppression for the growth of DM density perturbations at low redshifts, whose property offers a possibility for resolving the $σ_8$ tension problem. A negative coupling $Q$ gives rise to a $φ$-matter-dominated epoch, whose presence can reduce the sound horizon around the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) decoupling epoch. Using the data of Planck 2018, 12-th Sloan Digital Sky Survey, Phantheon supernovae samples, and 1-year dark energy survey, we find that the two couplings are constrained to be $β=0.332^{+1.246}_{-0.237}$ and $Q =-0.0312^{+0.0312}_{-0.0085}$ at 68\,\% confidence level (CL). Thus, there is an interesting observational signature of the momentum exchange ($β\neq 0$) between DE and DM, with a peak of the probability distribution of the energy transfer coupling at $Q<0$.
