Ultralight vector dark matter search using data from the KAGRA O3GK run
Abstract: Among the various candidates for dark matter (DM), ultralight vector DM can be probed by laser interferometric gravitational wave detectors through the measurement of oscillating length changes in the arm cavities. In this context, KAGRA has a unique feature due to differing compositions of its mirrors, enhancing the signal of vector DM in the length change in the auxiliary channels. Here we prese… ▽ More

One-loop vacuum energy in 10D super-Yang-Mills theory on magnetized tori with/without 4D N=1 supersymmetric completion
Abstract: We discuss the behavior of the one-loop vacuum energy of 10 dimensional (10D) super Yang-Mills theory on magnetized tori $\mathbb{R}^{1,3}\times (\mathbb{T}^2)^3$ in the presence of the Abelian magnetic fluxes, including all the contributions from Kaluza-Klein (KK) modes. Constraints on axion-like particles with the Perseus Galaxy Cluster with MAGIC
Abstract: Axion-like particles (ALPs) are pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone bosons that emerge in various theories beyond the standard model. Loop Fayet-Iliopoulos terms in $T^2/Z_2$ models: instability and moduli stabilization
Abstract: We study Fayet-Iliopoulos (FI) terms of six-dimensional supersymmetric Abelian gauge theory compactified on a $T^2/Z_2$ orbifold. Such orbifold compactifications can lead to localized FI-terms and instability of bulk zero modes. We study 1-loop correction to FI-terms in more general geometry than the previous works. Abstract: We study Fayet-Iliopoulos (FI) terms of 5-dimensional supersymmetric $U(1)$ gauge theory compactified on $S^1/Z_2$. In this model, loop diagrams including matter hypermultiplets and brane chiral multiplets induce FI-terms localized at the fixed points. Localized FI-terms lead instabilities of bulk modes. Flavor structure with multi moduli in 5D SUGRA
Abstract: We investigate 5-dimensional supergravity on S^1/Z_2 with a physical Z_2-odd vector multiplet, which yields an additional modulus other than the radion. We find additional terms in the 4-dimensional effective theory that are peculiar to the multi moduli case. Such terms can make the soft masses are non-tachyonic and almost flavor-universal at tree-level, in contrast to the single modulus case. T… ▽ More

Flavor structure with multi moduli in 5D supergravity
Abstract: We study 5-dimensional supergravity on S^1/Z_2 with a physical Z_2-odd vector multiplet, which yields an additional modulus other than the radion. We derive 4-dimensional effective theory and find additional terms in the Kahler potential that are peculiar to the multi moduli case. Such terms can avoid tachyonic soft scalar masses at tree-level, which are problematic in the single modulus case. W… ▽ More

Magnetized orbifold models
Abstract: We study (4+2n)-dimensional N=1 super Yang-Mills theory on the orbifold background with non-vanishing magnetic flux. In particular, we study zero-modes of spinor fields. The flavor structure of our models is different from one in magnetized torus models, and would be interesting in realistic model building.

Non-perturbative moduli superpotential with positive exponents
Abstract: We study non-perturbative moduli superpotentials with positive exponents, i.e. the form like $Ae^{aT}$ with a positive constant $a$ and the modulus $T$. These effects can be generated, e.g., by D-branes which have negative RR charge of lower dimensional D-brane. The scalar potentials including such terms have a quite rich structure. There are several local minima with different potential energie… ▽ More

Dynamically sequestered F-term uplifting in extra dimension
Abstract: We study concretely several issues altogether, moduli stabilization, the dynamical supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking, the uplifting of SUSY anti-de Sitter (AdS) vacuum and the sequestering of hidden sector, in a simple supergravity model with a single extra dimension. The sequestering is achieved dynamically by a wavefunction localization in extra dimension. The expressions for the visible sector so… ▽ More

Metastable supersymmetry breaking vacua from conformal dynamics
Abstract: We study the scenario that conformal dynamics leads to metastable supersymmetry breaking vacua. At a high energy scale, the superpotential is not R-symmetric, and has a supersymmetric minimum. However, conformal dynamics suppresses several operators along renormalization group flow toward the infrared fixed point. Then we can find an approximately R-symmetric superpotential, which has a metastab… ▽ More

Off-shell dimensional reduction of 5D orbifold supergravity
Abstract: We present a systematic way for deriving a four-dimensional (4D) effective action of the five-dimensional (5D) orbifold supergravity respecting the N=1 {\it off-shell} structure. As an illustrating example, we derive a 4D effective theory of the 5D gauged supergravity with a universal hypermultiplet and {\it generic} gaugings, which includes the 5D heterotic M-theory and the supersymmetric Randa… ▽ More

Moduli stabilization in 5D gauged supergravity with universal hypermultiplet and boundary superpotentials
Abstract: We study a four-dimensional effective theory of the five-dimensional (5D) gauged supergravity with a universal hypermultiplet and perturbative superpotential terms at the orbifold fixed points. Among eight independent isometries of the scalar manifold, we focus on three directions for gauging by the graviphoton. The class of models we consider includes the 5D heterotic M-theory and the supersymm… ▽ More

R-symmetry, supersymmetry breaking and metastable vacua in global and local supersymmetric theories
Abstract: We study N=1 global and local supersymmetric theories with a continuous global $U(1)_R$ symmetry as models of dynamical supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking. We introduce explicit R-symmetry breaking terms into such models, in particular a generalized O'Raifeartaigh model. Such explicit R-symmetry breaking terms can lead to a SUSY preserving minimum. We classify explicit R-symmetry breaking terms by th… ▽ More

More about F-term uplifting
Abstract: We study moduli stabilization and a realization of de Sitter vacua in generalized F-term uplifting scenarios of the KKLT-type anti-de Sitter vacuum, where the uplifting sector X directly couples to the light Kähler modulus T in the superpotential through, e.g., stringy instanton effects. F-term uplifting can be achieved by a spontaneous supersymmetry breaking sector, e.g., the Polonyi model, the… ▽ More
