Updates on inclusive charmed and bottomed meson decays from the lattice
Abstract: With the development of lattice QCD in recent years, a determination of decay rates for inclusive semileptonic decays from lattice correlators now seems viable. Topological susceptibility in 2+1-flavor QCD with chiral fermions
Abstract: We compute the topological susceptibility $χ_t$ of 2+1-flavor lattice QCD with dynamical Möbius domain-wall fermions, whose residual mass is kept at 1 MeV or smaller. In our analysis, we focus on the fluctuation of the topological charge density in a "slab" sub-volume of the simulated lattice, as proposed by Bietenholz et al. The quark mass dependence of our results agrees well with the prediction… ▽ More

D meson semileptonic form factors in Nf=3 QCD with Möbius domain-wall quarks
Abstract: We present our calculation of D \to pi and D \to K semileptonic form factors in Nf = 2+1 lattice QCD. We simulate three lattice cutoffs 1/a \sim 2.5, 3.6 and 4.5 GeV with pion masses as low as 230 MeV. The Möbius domain-wall action is employed for both light and charm quarks. We present our results for the vector and scalar form factors and discuss their dependence on the lattice spacing, light qu… ▽ More

$B \rightarrow π\ell ν$ with Möbius Domain Wall Fermions
Abstract: We report on the status of our calculation of the exclusive semileptonic decay, $B\rightarrow π\ell ν$; a key process in the determination of the CKM matrix element $|V_{ub}|$. The Möbius domain wall action is used for both light and heavy quarks on gauge ensembles that include the effects of $2+1$ flavours of quarks in the sea at three values of the lattice spacing: $a\approx 0.08~\mathrm{fm}$,… ▽ More

Topological susceptibility of QCD with dynamical Möbius domain wall fermions
Abstract: We compute the topological susceptibility $χ_t$ of lattice QCD with $2+1$ dynamical quark flavors described by the Möbius domain wall fermion. Violation of chiral symmetry as measured by the residual mass is kept at $\sim$1 MeV or smaller. We measure the fluctuation of the topological charge density in a `slab' sub-volume of the simulated lattice using the method proposed by Bietenholz {\it et al.… ▽ More

$|V_{ud}|$, $|V_{us}|$, $|V_{cd}|$, $|V_{cs}|$ and charm (semi)leptonic decays: WG1 summary from CKM 2016
Abstract: We summarize the current status of the determination of the CKM matrix elements |V_ud| and |V_us|, which is at the precision frontier of CKM phenomenology. We also review recent progress on the study of charm (semi)leptonic decays, and the determination of |V_cd| and |V_cs|.

Chiral behavior of $K \to πl ν$ decay form factors in lattice QCD with exact chiral symmetry
Abstract: We calculate the form factors of the $K \to πl ν$ semileptonic decays in three-flavor lattice QCD, and study their chiral behavior as a function of the momentum transfer and the Nambu-Goldstone boson masses. Chiral symmetry is exactly preserved by using the overlap quark action, which enables us to directly compare the lattice data with chiral perturbation theory (ChPT). We generate gauge ensemble… ▽ More

Lattice calculation of coordinate-space vector and axial-vector current correlators in QCD
Abstract: We study the vector and axial-vector current correlators in perturbative and non-perturbative regimes of QCD. The correlators in Euclidean coordinate space are calculated on the lattice using the Möbius domain-wall fermion formulation at three lattice spacings covering 0.044--0.080~fm. The dynamical quark effects of $2+1$ light flavors are included. The sum $V+A$ and the difference $V-A$ of the ve… ▽ More

Current correlators in the coordinate space at short distances
Abstract: We calculate the vector and axial-vector current correlators in the coordinate space and compare them with the experimental information obtained through the spectral functions of hadronic tau decays measured by ALEPH. Lattice data are obtained with 2+1 Mobius domain-wall fermions at three lattice spacings 0.044, 0.055 and 0.080 fm and the continuum limit is taken. The correlators calculated on the… ▽ More

Abstract: We report on our study of the D meson semileptonic decays in 2+1 flavor lattice QCD. Evidence of effective axial U(1) symmetry restoration at high temperature QCD
Abstract: We study the axial U(1) symmetry at finite temperature in two-flavor lattice QCD. Employing the Mobius domain-wall fermions, we generate gauge configurations slightly above the critical temperature Tc with different lattice sizes L = 2-4 fm. Our action allows frequent topology tunneling while kee** good chiral symmetry close enough to that of overlap fermions. This allows us to recover full chir… ▽ More

Stochastic calculation of the Dirac spectrum on the lattice and a determination of chiral condensate in 2+1-flavor QCD
Abstract: We compute the chiral condensate in 2+1-flavor QCD through the spectrum of low-lying eigenmodes of Dirac operator. The number of eigenvalues of the Dirac operator is evaluated using a stochastic method with an eigenvalue filtering technique on the background gauge configurations generated by lattice QCD simulations including the effects of dynamical up, down and strange quarks described by the Mob… ▽ More
