Abstract:
We report the measurement of the cross sections for $e^+e^-\rightarrow {\rm hadrons}$ at center-of-mass (c.m.) energies from 3.645 to 3.871 GeV. We observe a new resonance $\mathcal R(3810)$ in the cross sections for the first time, and observe the $\mathcal R(3760)$ resonance with high significance in the cross sections. We report the measurement of the cross sections for $e^+e^-\rightarrow {\rm hadrons}$ at center-of-mass (c.m.) energies from 3.645 to 3.871 GeV. We observe a new resonance $\mathcal R(3810)$ in the cross sections for the first time, and observe the $\mathcal R(3760)$ resonance with high significance in the cross sections. The $\mathcal R(3810)$ has a mass of $(3804.5 \pm 0.9 \pm 0.9)$ ~MeV/$c^2$, a total width of $(5.4 \pm 3.5 \pm 3.2)$~MeV, and an electronic partial width of $(19.4 \pm 7.4 \pm 12.1)$~eV. Its significance is $7.7σ$. The $\mathcal R(3810)$ could be interpreted as a hadro-charmonium resonance predicted by Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). In addition, we measure the mass $(3751.9\pm 3.8\pm 2.8)$ ~MeV/$c^2$, the total width $(32.8 \pm 5.8 \pm 8.7)$~MeV, and the electronic partial width $(184\pm 75\pm 86)$~eV with improved precision for the $\mathcal R(3760)$. Furthermore, for the $\mathcal R(3780)$ we measure the mass $(3778.7\pm 0.5\pm 0.3)$ ~MeV/$c^2$ and total width $(20.3 \pm 0.8 \pm 1.7)$~MeV with improved precision, and the electronic partial width $(265\pm 69\pm 83)$~eV. The $\mathcal R(3780)$ can be interpreted as the $1^3D_1$ state of charmonium. Its mass and total width differ significantly from the corresponding fitted values given by the Particle Data Group in 2022 by 7.1 and 3.2 times the uncertainties for $ψ(3770)$, respectively. $ψ(3770)$ has been interpreted as the $1^3D_1$ state for 45 years.

The first observation of the decays $J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow \bar{p} Σ^{+} K_{S}^{0}$ and $J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow p \barΣ^{-} K_{S}^{0}$ is reported using $(10087\pm44)\times10^{6}$ $J\!/\!ψ$ events recorded by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. The branching fractions of each channel are determined to be $\mathcal{B}(J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow \bar{p} Σ^{+} K_{S}^{0})=(1.361 \pm 0.006 \pm 0.025) \times 10^{-4}$ and $\mathcal{B}(J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow p \barΣ^{-} K_{S}^{0})=(1.352 \pm 0.006 \pm 0.025) \times 10^{-4}$. The combined result is $\mathcal{B}(J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow \bar{p} Σ^{+} K_{S}^{0} +c.c.)=(2.725 \pm 0.009 \pm 0.050) \times 10^{-4}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The results presented are in good agreement with the branching fractions of the isospin partner decay $J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow p K^- \barΣ^0 + c.c.$.

Abstract:
Using $(1.0087\pm0.0044)\times10^{10}$ $J/ψ$ events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we search for the lepton number violation decay $φ\to π^+ π^+ e^- e^-$ via $J/ψ\to φη$. No signal is found and the upper limit on the branching fraction of $φ\to π^+ π^+ e^- e^-$ is set to be $9.7\times10^{-6}$ at the 90\% confidence level.
Using $(1.0087\pm0.0044)\times10^{10}$ $J/ψ$ events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we search for the lepton number violation decay $φ\to π^+ π^+ e^- e^-$ via $J/ψ\to φη$. No signal is found and the upper limit on the branching fraction of $φ\to π^+ π^+ e^- e^-$ is set to be $9.7\times10^{-6}$ at the 90\% confidence level.

The Born cross sections and effective form factors of the process $e^+e^-\toΛ\barΣ^0 + c.c.$ are measured at 14 center-of-mass energy points from 2.3094 to 3.0800 GeV, based on data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $(478.5 \pm 4.8)\ \text{pb}^{-1}$ collected with the BESIII detector. A non-zero Born cross section is observed at the center-of-mass energy of 2.3094 GeV with a statistical significance of more than five standard deviations, and the cross sections at other energies are obtained with improved precision compared to earlier measurements from the BaBar Collaboration. The Born cross-section lineshape is described better by a shape with a plateau near the threshold than by a pQCD motivated functional form.

By analyzing 7.33 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV with the BESIII detector, we report the observation of the semileptonic decay $D^+_s\to η^\prime μ^+ν_μ$, with a statistical significance larger than 10$σ$, and the measurements of the $D_s^+ \to ημ^+ν_μ$ and $D_s^+ \to η^\primeμ^+ν_μ$ decay dynamics for the first time. The branching fractions of $D_s^+ \to ημ^+ν_μ$ and $D_s^+ \to η^\primeμ^+ν_μ$ are determined to be $(2.235\pm0.051_{\rm stat}\pm0.052_{\rm syst})\%$ and $(0.801\pm0.055_{\rm stat}\pm0.028_{\rm syst})\%$, respectively, with precision improved by factors of 6.0 and 6.6 compared to the previous best measurements. Combined with the results for the decays $D_s^+ \to ηe^+ν_e$ and $D_s^+ \to η^\prime e^+ν_e$, the ratios of the decay widths are examined both inclusively and in several $\ell^+ν_\ell$ four-momentum transfer ranges. No evidence for lepton flavor universality violation is found within the current statistics. The products of the hadronic form factors $f_{+,0}^{η^{(\prime)}}(0)$ and the $c\to s$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ are determined. The results based on the two-parameter series expansion are $f^η_{+,0}(0)|V_{cs}| = 0.452\pm0.010_{\rm stat}\pm0.007_{\rm syst}$ and $f^{η^{\prime}}_{+,0}(0)|V_{cs}| = 0.504\pm0.037_{\rm stat}\pm0.012_{\rm syst}$, which help to constrain present models on $f_{+,0}^{η^{(\prime)}}(0)$. The forward-backward asymmetries are determined to be $\langle A_{\rm FB}^η\rangle=-0.059\pm0.031_{\rm stat}\pm0.005_{\rm syst}$ and $\langle A_{\rm FB}^{η^\prime}\rangle=-0.064\pm0.079_{\rm stat}\pm0.006_{\rm syst}$ for the first time, which are consistent with the theoretical calculation.

Precision measurements of the semileptonic decays $D_s^+ \to ηe^+ ν_e$ and $D_s^+ \to η^\prime e^+ ν_e$ are performed with 7.33\,fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV with the BESIII detector. The branching fractions obtained are $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to ηe^{+} ν_e)$ = $(2.255\pm0.039_{\rm stat}\pm 0.051_{\rm syst})\%$ and $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to η^{\prime} e^{+} ν_e)$ = $(0.810\pm0.038_{\rm stat}\pm 0.024_{\rm syst})\%$. Combining these results with the $\mathcal{B}(D^+\toηe^+ ν_e)$ and $\mathcal{B}(D^+\toη^\prime e^+ ν_e)$ obtained from previous BESIII measurements, the $η-η^\prime$ mixing angle in the quark flavor basis is determined to be $φ_{\rm P} = (40.0\pm2.0_{\rm stat}\pm0.6_{\rm syst})^\circ$. Moreover, from the fits to the partial decay rates of $D_s^+ \to ηe^+ ν_e$ and $D_s^+ \to η^\prime e^+ ν_e$, the products of the hadronic transition form factors $f_+^{η^{(\prime)}}(0)$ and the modulus of the $c\to s$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ are determined by using different hadronic transition form factor parametrizations. Based on the two-parameter series expansion, the products $f^η_+(0)|V_{cs}| = 0.4519\pm0.0071_{\rm stat}\pm0.0065_{\rm syst}$ and $f^{η^\prime}_+(0)|V_{cs}| = 0.525\pm0.024_{\rm stat}\pm0.009_{\rm syst}$ are extracted. All results determined in this work supersede those measured in the previous BESIII analyses based on the 3.19 fb$^{-1}$ subsample of data at 4.178 GeV.

The measurement of the Cabibbo-favored semileptonic decay $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λμ^+ν_μ$ is reported using $4.5~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected at center-of-mass energies ranging from 4.600~GeV to 4.699~GeV. The branching fraction of the decay is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λμ^+ν_μ)=(3.48\pm0.14_{\rm stat.}\pm0.10_{\rm syst.})\%$, three times more precise than the prior world average result. Tests of lepton flavor universality using $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λ\ell^+ν_{\ell}$ ($\ell=e, μ$) decays are reported for the first time, based on measurements of the differential decay rates and the forward-backward asymmetries in separate four-momentum transfer regions. The results are compatible with Standard Model predictions. Furthermore, we improve the determination of the form-factor parameters in $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λ\ell^+ν_{\ell}$ decays, which provide stringent tests and calibration for lattice quantum chromodynamics (LQCD) calculations.

Using $(1.0087\pm0.0044)\times10^{10}$ $J/ψ$ events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we report the first search for the baryon and lepton number violating decays $Ξ^{0} \rightarrow K^{-} e^{+}$ with $Δ(B-L)=0$ and $Ξ^{0} \rightarrow K^{+} e^{-}$ with $|Δ(B-L)|=2$, where $B$ ($L$) is the baryon (lepton) number. While no signal is observed, the upper limits on the branching fractions of these two decays are set to $\mathcal B(Ξ^{0} \rightarrow K^{-} e^{+})<3.6\times10^{-6}$ and $\mathcal B(Ξ^{0} \rightarrow K^{+} e^{-})<1.9\times10^{-6}$ at the 90\% confidence level, respectively. These results offer a direct probe of baryon number violating interactions involving a strange quark.

Using $(1.0087\pm0.0044)\times10^{10}$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring, the process $Ξ^{0}n\rightarrowΞ^{-}p$ is studied, where the $Ξ^0$ baryon is produced in the process $J/ψ\rightarrowΞ^0\barΞ^0$ and the neutron is a component of the $^9\rm{Be}$, $^{12}\rm{C}$ and $^{197}\rm{Au}$ nuclei in the beam pipe. A clear signal is observed with a statistical significance of $7.1σ$. The cross section of the reaction $Ξ^0+{^9\rm{Be}}\rightarrowΞ^-+p+{^8\rm{Be}}$ is determined to be $σ(Ξ^0+{^9\rm{Be}}\rightarrowΞ^-+p+{^8\rm{Be}})=(22.1\pm5.3_{\rm{stat}}\pm4.5_{\rm{sys}})$ mb at the $Ξ^0$ momentum of $0.818$ GeV/$c$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. No significant $H$-dibaryon signal is observed in the $Ξ^-p$ final state. This is the first study of hyperon-nucleon interactions in electron-positron collisions and opens up a new direction for such research.

Using $e^+e^-$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.33 ${\rm fb^{-1}}$ recorded by the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 ${\rm GeV}$, we present an analysis of the decay $D_{s}^{+} \to f_{0}(980)e^{+}ν_{e}$ with $f_{0}(980) \to π^{+}π^{-}$, where the $D_s^+$ is produced via the process $e^+e^- \to D_{s}^{*\pm}D_{s}^{\mp}$. We observe the $f_{0}(980)$ in the $π^+π^-$ system and the branching fraction of the decay $D_{s}^{+} \to f_{0}(980)e^{+}ν_{e}$ with $f_0(980)\toπ^+π^-$ is measured to be $(1.72 \pm 0.13_{\rm stat} \pm 0.10_{\rm syst}) \times10^{-3}$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. The dynamics of the $D_{s}^{+} \to f_{0}(980)e^{+}ν_{e}$ decay are studied with the simple pole parameterization of the hadronic form factor and the Flatté formula describing the $f_0(980)$ in the differential decay rate, and the product of the form factor $f^{f_0}_{+}(0)$ and the $c\to s$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ is determined for the first time to be $f^{f_0}_+(0)|V_{cs}|=0.504\pm0.017_{\rm stat}\pm0.035_{\rm syst}$.

Utilizing $7.33~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data taken at the center-of-mass energies of 4.128, 4.157, 4.178, 4.189, 4.199, 4.209, 4.219, and 4.226 GeV with the BESIII detector, the branching fraction of the leptonic decay $D_s^+\toτ^+ν_τ$ via $τ^+\toμ^+ν_μ\bar ν_τ$ is measured to be $\mathcal{B}_{D_s^+\toτ^+ν_τ}=(5.34\pm0.16_{\rm stat}\pm0.10_{\rm syst})\%$. Combining this branching fraction with the world averages of the measurements of the masses of $τ^+$ and $D_s^+$ as well as the lifetime of $D_s^+$, we extract the product of the decay constant of $D_s^+$ and the $c\to s$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element to be $f_{D_s^+}|V_{cs}|=(246.2\pm3.7_{\rm stat}\pm2.5_{\rm syst})~\mathrm{MeV}$. Taking $|V_{cs}|$ from a global fit in the standard model we obtain $f_{D_s^+}=(252.7\pm3.8_{\rm stat}\pm2.6_{\rm syst})$ MeV. Conversely, taking $f_{D_s^+}$ from lattice quantum chromodynamics calculations, we obtain $|V_{cs}| = 0.984\pm0.015_{\rm stat}\pm0.010_{\rm syst}$.

Based on $(448.1 \pm 2.9 )\times 10^6$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the decay $ψ(3686)\rightarrow φK_{S}^{0} K_{S}^{0}$ is observed for the first time. Taking the interference between $ψ(3686)$ decay and continuum production into account, the branching fraction of this decay is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686)\rightarrowφK_S^0 K_S^0 )$ = $(3.53 $ $\pm$ $0.20$ $\pm$ $0.21$)$\times 10^{-5}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Combining with the world average value for ${\mathcal B}(J/ψ\to φK^0_SK^0_S)$, the ratio $\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686)\rightarrow φK_{S}^{0} K_{S}^{0})/\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\rightarrow φK_{S}^{0} K_{S}^{0}) $ is determined to be $(6.0\pm 1.6)$%, which is suppressed relative to the 12% rule.

Using initial-state radiation events from a total integrated luminosity of 11.957 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at center-of-mass energies between 3.773 and 4.258 GeV with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, the cross section for the process $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrowΛ\barΛ$ is measured in 16 $Λ\barΛ$ invariant mass intervals from the production threshold up to 3.00 GeV$/c^{2}$. The results are consistent with previous results from BaBar and BESIII, but with better precision and with narrower $Λ\barΛ$ invariant mass intervals than BaBar.

The analysis is based on the study of the process $e^+e^-\to pK^-\barΛ$ and uses the data samples collected with the BESIII detector at the center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=4.008$, $4.178$, $4.226$, $4.258$, $4.416$, and $4.682$ GeV with a total integrated luminosity of $8.35~\text{fb}^{-1}$.

With data samples collected with the BESIII detector at seven energy points at $\sqrt{s}= 3.68 - 3.71$ GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 333 pb$^{-1}$, we present a study of the $Λ$ transverse polarization in the $e^+e^-\toΛ\barΛ$ reaction. The significance of polarization by combining the seven energy points is found to be 2.6$σ$ including the systematic uncertainty, which implies a non-zero phase between the transition amplitudes of the $Λ\barΛ$ helicity states. The modulus ratio and the relative phase of EM-$psionic$ form factors combined with all energy points are measured to be $R^Ψ =$ 0.71$^{+0.10}_{-0.10}$ $\pm$ 0.03 and $ΔΦ^Ψ$ = (23$^{+8.8}_{-8.0}$ $\pm$ 1.6$)^\circ$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.

Using $(10\:087\pm44)\times10^{6}$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector, the radiative hyperon decay $Σ\rightarrow pγ$ is studied at an electron-positron collider experiment for the first time. The absolute branching fraction is measured to be $\left(0.996 \pm 0.021_{\rm stat.}\pm 0.018_{\rm syst.}\right)\times 10^{-3}$, which is lower than its world average value by $4.2$ standard deviations. Its decay asymmetry parameter is determined to be $-0.652 \pm 0.056_{\rm stat.}\pm 0.020_{\rm syst.}$. The branching fraction and decay asymmetry parameter are the most precise to date, and the accuracies are improved by $78\%$ and $34\%$, respectively.

A precision measurement of the matrix elements for $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ and $η\toπ^0π^0π^0$ decays is performed using a sample of $(10087\pm44)\times10^6$ $J/ψ$ decays collected with the BESIII detector. The decay $J/ψ\to γη$ is used to select clean samples of 631,686 $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ decays and 272,322 $η\toπ^0π^0π^0$ decays. The matrix elements for both channels are in reasonable agreement with previous measurements. The non-zero $gX^2Y$ term for the decay mode $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ is confirmed, as reported by the KLOE Collaboration, while the other higher-order terms are found to be insignificant. Dalitz plot asymmetries in the $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ decay are also explored and are found to be consistent with charge conjugation invariance. In addition, a cusp effect is investigated in the $η\toπ^0π^0π^0$ decay, and no obvious structure around the $π^+π^-$ mass threshold is observed.

The Born cross sections of the process $e^{+}e^{-}\to D^{*0}D^{*-}π^{+}$ at center-of-mass energies from 4.189 to 4.951 GeV are measured for the first time. The data samples used correspond to an integrated luminosity of $17.9\,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ and were collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. Three enhancements around 4.20, 4.47 and 4.67 GeV are visible. The resonances have masses of $4209.6\pm4.7\pm5.9\,{\rm MeV}/c^{2}$, $4469.1\pm26.2\pm3.6\,{\rm MeV}/c^{2}$ and $4675.3\pm29.5\pm3.5\,{\rm MeV}/c^{2}$ and widths of $81.6\pm17.8\pm9.0\,{\rm MeV}$, $246.3\pm36.7\pm9.4\,{\rm MeV}$, and $218.3\pm72.9\pm9.3\,{\rm MeV}$, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The first and third resonances are consistent with the $ψ(4230)$ and $ψ(4660)$ states, respectively, while the second one is compatible with the $ψ(4500)$ observed in the $e^{+}e^{-}\to K^{+}K^{-}J/ψ$ process. These three charmoniumlike $ψ$ states are observed in $e^{+}e^{-}\to D^{*0}D^{*-}π^{+}$ process for the first time.

Using $e^+e^-$ annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb$^{-1}$ taken at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, we report the first measurements of the branching fractions of the inclusive decays $D^0\to π^+π^+π^-X$ and $D^+\to π^+π^+π^-X$, where pions from $K^0_S$ decays have been excluded from the $π^+π^+π^-$ system and $X$ denotes any possible particle combination. The branching fractions of $D^0(D^+)\to π^+π^+π^-X$ are determined to be ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to π^+π^+π^-X)=(17.60\pm0.11\pm0.22)\%$ and ${\mathcal B}(D^+\to π^+π^+π^-X)=(15.25\pm0.09\pm0.18)\%$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.

We present a study of the resonant structure of the decay $D^0 \to K_{\rm L}^0π^+π^-$, using quantum-correlated $D^0\bar{D}^0$ data produced at $\sqrt{s}=3.773$ GeV. The data sample was collected by the BESIII experiment and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of $2.93$ fb$^{-1}$. This study is the first amplitude analysis of a decay mode involving a $K_{\rm L}^0$, which also results in the first measurement of the complex $\textit{U-spin breaking parameters}$ ($\hatρ$) related to various $\mathit{CP}$-eigenstate resonant modes through which the three-body decay proceeds. The moduli of the $\hatρ$ parameters have central values in a wide range from $0.4$ to $12.1$, which indicates substantial U-spin symmetry breaking. We present the fractional resonant contributions and average strong-phase parameters over regions of phase space for both $K_{\rm S}^0π^+π^-$ and $K_{\rm L}^0π^+π^-$ modes. We also report the ratio of the branching fractions between $K_{\rm L}^0π^+π^-$ and $K_{\rm S}^0π^+π^-$ decay modes and the $\mathit{CP}$-even fraction of the $K_{\rm L}^0π^+π^-$ state calculated using the U-spin breaking parameters.

We present the first measurements of the electric and magnetic form factors of the neutron in the time-like (positive $q^2$) region as function of four-momentum transfer. We explored the differential cross sections of the reaction $e^+e^- \rightarrow \bar{n}n$ with data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII accelerator, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 354.6 pb$^{-1}$ in total at twelve center-of-mass energies between $\sqrt{s} = 2.0 - 2.95$ GeV. A relative uncertainty of 18% and 12% for the electric and magnetic form factors, respectively, is achieved at $\sqrt{s} = 2.3935$ GeV. Our results are comparable in accuracy to those from electron scattering in the comparable space-like (negative $q^2$) region of four-momentum transfer. The electromagnetic form factor ratio $R_{\rm em}\equiv |G_E|/|G_M|$ is within the uncertainties close to unity. We compare our result on $|G_E|$ and $|G_M|$ to recent model predictions, and the measurements in the space-like region to test the analyticity of electromagnetic form factors.

The first direct measurement of the absolute branching fraction of $Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e}$ is reported based on an $e^+e^-$ annihilation sample of $(10087\pm44) \times 10^6$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector at $\sqrt{s}=3.097$ GeV. The branching fraction is determined to be ${\mathcal B}(Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e}) = [2.93\pm0.74(\rm stat) \pm 0.13(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$, which is the most precise measurement obtained in a single experiment to date and also the first result obtained at a collider experiment. Combining this result with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(Σ^- \to Λe^- \barν_{e})$ and the lifetimes of $Σ^{\pm}$, the ratio, $\frac{Γ(Σ^- \to Λe^- \barν_{e})}{Γ(Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e})}$, is determined to be $1.06 \pm 0.28$, which is within 1.8 standard deviations of the value expected in the absence of second-class currents that are forbidden in the Standard Model.

We search for an axion-like particle (ALP) $a$ through the process $ψ(3686)\rightarrowπ^+π^-J/ψ$, $J/ψ\rightarrowγa$, $a\rightarrowγγ$ in a data sample of $(2.71\pm0.01)\times10^9$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector. No significant ALP signal is observed over the expected background, and the upper limits on the branching fraction of the decay $J/ψ\rightarrowγa$ and the ALP-photon coupling constant $g_{aγγ}$ are set at 95% confidence level in the mass range of $0.165\leq m_a\leq2.84\,\mbox{GeV}/c^2$. The limits on $B(J/ψ\rightarrowγa)$ range from $8.3\times10^{-8}$ to $1.8\times10^{-6}$ over the search region, and the constraints on the ALP-photon coupling are the most stringent to date for $0.165\leq m_a\leq1.468\,\mbox{GeV}/c^2$.

Using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $651~\mathrm{pb}^{-1}$ accumulated at 22 center-of-mass energies from 2.00 to 3.08 GeV by the BESIII experiment, the process $e^{+}e^{-}\toφπ^{+}π^{-}$ is studied. The cross sections for $e^{+}e^{-}\toφπ^{+}π^{-}$ are consistent with previous results, but with improved precision. To measure the mass and width of the structure observed in the cross section line shape, a combine fit is performed after enhancing the contribution from $φf_{0}(980)$. The fit reveals a structure with the mass of $M=2178\pm20\pm5~{\rm MeV}/c^2$ and the width of $\varGamma=140\pm36\pm16~{\rm MeV}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones are systematic.
