We propose a data collecting and annotation pipeline that extracts information from Vietnamese radiology reports to provide accurate labels for chest X-ray (CXR) images. This can benefit Vietnamese radiologists and clinicians by annotating data that closely match their endemic diagnosis categories which may vary from country to country. To assess the efficacy of the proposed labeling technique, we built a CXR dataset containing 9,752 studies and evaluated our pipeline using a subset of this dataset. With an F1-score of at least 0.9923, the evaluation demonstrates that our labeling tool performs precisely and consistently across all classes. After building the dataset, we train deep learning models that leverage knowledge transferred from large public CXR datasets. We employ a variety of loss functions to overcome the curse of imbalanced multi-label datasets and conduct experiments with various model architectures to select the one that delivers the best performance. Our best model (CheXpert-pretrained EfficientNet-B2) yields an F1-score of 0.6989 (95% CI 0.6740, 0.7240), AUC of 0.7912, sensitivity of 0.7064 and specificity of 0.8760 for the abnormal diagnosis in general. Finally, we demonstrate that our coarse classification (based on five specific locations of abnormalities) yields comparable results to fine classification (twelve pathologies) on the benchmark CheXpert dataset for general anomaly detection while delivering better performance in terms of the average performance of all classes.

The utilisation of unmanned aerial vehicles has witnessed significant growth in real-world applications including surveillance tasks, military missions, and transportation deliveries. This letter investigates practical problems of formation control for multiple nano-quadrotor systems. To be more specific, the first aim of this work is to develop a theoretical framework for the time-varying formation flight of the multi-quadrotor system regarding anti-collisions. In order to achieve this goal, the finite cut-off potential function is devoted to avoiding collisions among vehicles in the group as well as between vehicles and an obstacle. The control algorithm navigates the group of nano-quadrotors to asymptotically reach an anticipated time-varying formation. The second aim is to implement the proposed algorithm on Crazyflies nanoquadrotors, one of the most ubiquitous indoor experimentation platforms. Several practical scenarios are conducted to tendentiously expose anti-collision abilities among group members as well as between vehicles and an obstacle. The experimental outcomes validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in the formation tracking and the collision avoidance of multiple nano-quadrotors.

Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) systems have been evolving quickly and reaching human parity in certain cases. The systems usually perform pretty well on reading style and clean speech, however, most of the available systems suffer from situation where the speaking style is conversation and in noisy environments. It is not straight-forward to tackle such problems due to difficulties in data collection for both speech and text. In this paper, we attempt to mitigate the problems using language models combination techniques that allows us to utilize both large amount of writing style text and small number of conversation text data. Evaluation on the VLSP 2019 ASR challenges showed that our system achieved 4.85% WER on the VLSP 2018 and 15.09% WER on the VLSP 2019 data sets.
