The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has already taken millions of lives and damaged economies across the globe. Most COVID-19 deaths and economic losses are reported from densely crowded cities. It is comprehensible that the effective control and prevention of epidemic/pandemic infectious diseases is vital. According to WHO, testing and diagnosis is the best strategy to control pandemics. Scientists worldwide are attempting to develop various innovative and cost-efficient methods to speed up the testing process. This paper comprehensively evaluates the applicability of the recent top ten state-of-the-art Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for automatically detecting COVID-19 infection using chest X-ray images. Moreover, it provides a comparative analysis of these models in terms of accuracy. This study identifies the effective methodologies to control and prevent infectious respiratory diseases. Our trained models have demonstrated outstanding results in classifying the COVID-19 infected chest x-rays. In particular, our trained models MobileNet, EfficentNet, and InceptionV3 achieved a classification average accuracy of 95\%, 95\%, and 94\% test set for COVID-19 class classification, respectively. Thus, it can be beneficial for clinical practitioners and radiologists to speed up the testing, detection, and follow-up of COVID-19 cases.

We consider the problem of accurate channel estimation for OTFS based systems with few transmit/receive antennas, where additional sparsity due to large number of antennas is not a possibility. For such systems the sparsity of the effective delay-Doppler (DD) domain channel is adversely affected in the presence of channel path delay and Doppler shifts which are non-integer multiples of the delay and Doppler domain resolution. The sparsity is also adversely affected when practical transmit and receive pulses are used. In this paper we propose a Modified Maximum Likelihood Channel Estimation (M-MLE) method for OTFS based systems which exploits the fine delay and Doppler domain resolution of the OTFS modulated signal to decouple the joint estimation of the channel parameters (i.e., channel gain, delay and Doppler shift) of all channel paths into separate estimation of the channel parameters for each path. We further observe that with fine delay and Doppler domain resolution, the received DD domain signal along a particular channel path can be written as a product of a delay domain term and a Doppler domain term where the delay domain term is primarily dependent on the delay of this path and the Doppler domain term is primarily dependent on the Doppler shift of this path. This allows us to propose another method termed as the two-step method (TSE), where the joint two-dimensional estimation of the delay and Doppler shift of a particular path in the M-MLE method is further decoupled into two separate one-dimensional estimation for the delay and for the Doppler shift of that path. Simulations reveal that the proposed methods (M-MLE and TSE) achieve better channel estimation accuracy at lower complexity when compared to other known methods for accurate OTFS channel estimation.

A total of 605 eligible respondents took part in this survey (population size 1630046161 and required sample size 591) with an age range of 18 to 100. A large proportion of the respondents are aged less than 50 (82%) and male (62.15%). The majority of the respondents live in urban areas (60.83%). A total of 61.16% (370/605) of the respondents were willing to accept/take the COVID-19 vaccine. Among the accepted group, only 35.14% showed the willingness to take the COVID-19 vaccine immediately, while 64.86% would delay the vaccination until they are confirmed about the vaccine s efficacy and safety or COVID-19 becomes deadlier in Bangladesh. The regression results showed age, gender, location (urban/rural), level of education, income, perceived risk of being infected with COVID-19 in the future, perceived severity of infection, having previous vaccination experience after age 18, having higher knowledge about COVID-19 and vaccination were significantly associated with the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines. The research reported a high prevalence of COVID-19 vaccine refusal and hesitancy in Bangladesh.

So, therefore, it is highly looked-for to build such a robust and highly accurate automatic and computational model to accurately predict enzymes nature. In this study, a novel split amino acid composition model named piSAAC is proposed. In this model, protein sequence is discretized in equal and balanced terminus to fully evaluate the intrinsic correlation properties of the sequence. Several state-of-the-art algorithms have been employed to evaluate the proposed model. A 10-folds cross-validation evaluation is used for finding out the authenticity and robust-ness of the model using different statistical measures e.g. Accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, F-measure and area un-der ROC curve. The experimental results show that, probabilistic neural network algorithm with piSAAC feature extraction yields an accuracy of 98.01%, sensitivity of 97.12%, specificity of 95.87%, f-measure of 0.9812and AUC 0.95812, over dataset S1, accuracy of 97.85%, sensitivity of 97.54%, specificity of 96.24%, f-measure of 0.9774 and AUC 0.9803 over dataset S2. Evident from these excellent empirical results, the proposed model would be a very useful tool for academic research and drug designing related application areas.

This paper presents a comparison of cluster-based position and non position-based routing protocols for mobile wireless sensor networks to outline design considerations of protocols for mobile environments. The selected protocols are compared on the basis of multiple parameters, which include packet delivery ratio, packet loss, network lifetime, and control overhead using variable number of nodes and speeds. The extensive simulation and analysis of results show that position-based routing protocols incur less packet loss as compared to the non position based protocols. However, position-based protocols require localization mechanism or a GPS for the location information, which consumes energy and affects the network lifetime. Alternatively, non position-based protocols are more energy efficient and provide extended network lifetime.

We evaluate performance of our protocol for a simple temperature sensing application and compare results of protocol with some other protocols LEACH, DEEC, SEP, ESEP and TEEN. And from simulation results it is observed that protocol outperforms concerning life time of sensing nodes used.

Integration testing is one the important phase in software testing life cycle (STLC). Heterogeneous and diverse nature of distributed components, applications, along with their multi-platform support and cooperativeness make these applications more complex and swiftly increasing in their size. Quality assurance of these applications is becoming more crucial and important. Testing is one of the key processes to achieve and ensure the quality of these software or Webbased products. There are many testing challenges involved in Web-based applications. But most importantly integration is the most critical testing associated with Web-based applications. There are number of challenging factors involved in integration testing efforts. These factors have almost 70 percent to 80 percent impact on overall quality of Web-based applications. In software industry different kind of testing approaches are used by practitioners to solve the issues associated with integration which are due to ever increasing complexities of Web-based applications.

Being most popular and IETF standard metric, minimum hop count is appropriately used by Ad hoc Networks, as new paths must rapidly be found in the situations where quality paths could not be found in due time due to high node mobility. There always has been a tradeoff between throughput and energy consumption, but stationary topology of WMNs and high node density of WSN's benefit the algorithms to consider quality-aware routing to choose the best routes. In this paper, we analytically review ongoing research on wireless routing metrics which are based on ETX (Expected Transmission Count) as it performs better than minimum hop count under link availability. Performances over ETX, target platforms and design requirements of these ETX based metrics are high-lighted. Consequences of the criteria being adopted (in addition to expected link layer transmissions & retransmissions) in the form of incremental: (1) performance overheads and computational complexity causing inefficient use of network resources and instability of the routing algorithm, (2) throughput gains achieved with better utilization of wireless medium resources have been elaborated.
