Noncommutative versions of inequalities in quantum information theory
Abstract: In this paper, we aim to replace in the definitions of covariance and correlation the usual trace {\rm Tr} by a tracial positive map between unital $C^*$-algebras and to replace the functions $x^α$ and $x^{1-α}$ by functions $f$ and $g$ satisfying some mild conditions. These allow us to define the generalized covariance, the generalized variance, the generalized correlation and the generalized Wig… ▽ More

Note on bounds for symmetric divergence measures
Abstract: I. Sason obtained the tight bounds for symmetric divergence measures are derived by applying the results established by G. L. Gilardoni. In this article, we are going to report two kinds of extensions for the above results, namely classical q-extension and non-commutative extension.

A generalized skew information and uncertainty relation
Abstract: A generalized skew information is defined and a generalized uncertainty relation is established with the help of a trace inequality which was recently proven by J.I.Fujii. In addition, we prove the trace inequality conjectured by S.Luo and Z.Zhang. Finally we point out that Theorem 1 in {\it S.Luo and Q.Zhang, IEEE Trans.IT, Vol.50, pp.1778-1782 (2004)} is incorrect in general, by giving a simpl… ▽ More

Concavity of the auxiliary function appearing in quantum reliability function an classical-quantum channels
