In the popular video game Batman: Arkham Knight, produced by Rocksteady Studios and released in 2015, the primary protagonist of the game is Batman, a vigilante dressed as a bat, fighting crime from the shadows in the fictitious city of Gotham. The game involves a real-world player who takes up the role of Batman to solve a peculiar side mission wherein they have to reconstruct the clean DNA sequence of a human and separate it from mutant DNA to manufacture an antidote to cure the villain. Although this is undoubtedly a fascinating part of the game, one that was absent in previous Batman games, it showcases an interesting notion of using mini-games embedded within primary games to achieve a particular real-world research objective. Although the DNA data used in this case was not real, there are multiple such instances in video games where mini-games have been used for an underlying motive besides entertainment. Based on popular case studies incorporating a similar method, this study characterizes the methodology of designing mini-games within primary games for research purposes into a descriptive framework, highlighting the process's advantages and limitations. It is concluded that these mini-games not only facilitate a deeper understanding of complex scientific concepts but also accelerate data processing and analysis by leveraging crowd-sourced human intuition and pattern recognition capabilities. This paper argues for strategically incorporating miniaturized, gamified elements into established video games that are mainly intended for recreational purposes.

Artificial Intelligence has made a significant contribution to autonomous vehicles, from object detection to path planning. However, AI models require a large amount of sensitive training data and are usually computationally intensive to build. The commercial value of such models motivates attackers to mount various attacks. Adversaries can launch model extraction attacks for monetization purposes or step-**-stone towards other attacks like model evasion. In specific cases, it even results in destroying brand reputation, differentiation, and value proposition. In addition, IP laws and AI-related legalities are still evolving and are not uniform across countries. We discuss model extraction attacks in detail with two use-cases and a generic kill-chain that can compromise autonomous cars. It is essential to investigate strategies to manage and mitigate the risk of model theft.

Printed Circuit Boards are the foundation for the functioning of any electronic device, and therefore are an essential component for various industries such as automobile, communication, computation, etc. However, one of the challenges faced by the PCB manufacturers in the process of manufacturing of the PCBs is the faulty placement of its components including missing components. In the present scenario the infrastructure required to ensure adequate quality of the PCB requires a lot of time and effort. The authors present a novel solution for detecting missing components and classifying them in a resourceful manner. The presented algorithm focuses on pixel theory and object detection, which has been used in combination to optimize the results from the given dataset.

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere today. But unfortunately, Agriculture has not been able to get that much attention from Artificial Intelligence (AI). A lack of automation persists in the agriculture industry. For over many years, farmers and crop field owners have been facing a problem of trespassing of wild animals for which no feasible solution has been provided. Installing a fence or barrier like structure is neither feasible nor efficient due to the large areas covered by the fields. Also, if the landowner can afford to build a wall or barrier, government policies for building walls are often very irksome. The paper intends to give a simple intelligible solution to the problem with Automated Crop Field Surveillance using Computer Vision. The solution will significantly reduce the cost of crops destroyed annually and completely automate the security of the field.
