Adaptive Reconciliation for Experimental Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution Over a Turbulent Free-Space Optical Channel
Abstract: We experimentally demonstrate adaptive reconciliation for continuous-variable quantum key distribution over a turbulent free-space optical channel. Additionally, we propose a method for optimising the reconciliation efficiency, increasing secret key rates by up to 8.1%.

A Simplified Method for Optimising Geometrically Shaped Constellations of Higher Dimensionality
Abstract: We introduce a simplified method for calculating the loss function for use in geometric sha**, allowing for the optimisation of high dimensional constellations. We design constellations up to 12D with 4096 points, with gains up to 0.31 dB compared to the state-of-the-art.

Low Rate Protograph-Based LDPC Codes for Continuous Variable Quantum Key Distribution
Abstract: Error correction plays a major role in the reconciliation of continuous variable quantum key distribution (CV-QKD) and greatly affects the performance of the system. CV-QKD requires error correction codes of extremely low rates and high reconciliation efficiencies. There are only very few code designs available in this ultra low rate regime. In this paper, we introduce a method for designing proto… ▽ More

End-to-End Learning of Geometrical Sha** Maximizing Generalized Mutual Information
Abstract: GMI-based end-to-end learning is shown to be highly nonconvex. We apply gradient descent initialized with Gray-labeled APSK constellations directly to the constellation coordinates. State-of-the-art constellations in 2D and 4D are found providing reach increases up to 26\% w.r.t. to QAM.
