Aspect based Sentiment Analysis is a major subarea of sentiment analysis. Many supervised and unsupervised approaches have been proposed in the past for detecting and analyzing the sentiment of aspect terms. In this paper, a graph-based semi-supervised learning approach for aspect term extraction is proposed. In this approach, every identified token in the review document is classified as aspect or non-aspect term from a small set of labeled tokens using label spreading algorithm. The k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN) for graph sparsification is employed in the proposed approach to make it more time and memory efficient. The proposed work is further extended to determine the polarity of the opinion words associated with the identified aspect terms in review sentence to generate visual aspect-based summary of review documents. The experimental study is conducted on benchmark and crawled datasets of restaurant and laptop domains with varying value of labeled instances. The results depict that the proposed approach could achieve good result in terms of Precision, Recall and Accuracy with limited availability of labeled data.

Network immunization is an extensively recognized issue in several domains like virtual network security, public health and social media, to deal with the problem of node inoculation so as to minimize the transmission through the links existed in these networks. We aim to identify top ranked nodes to immunize networks, leading to control the outbreak of epidemics or misinformation. We consider group based centrality and define a heuristic objective criteria to establish the target of key nodes finding in network which if immunized result in essential network vulnerability. We propose a group based game theoretic payoff division approach, by employing Shapley value to assign the surplus acquired by participating nodes in different groups through the positional power and functional influence over other nodes. We tag these key nodes as Shapley Value based Information Delimiters (SVID). Experiments on empirical data sets and model networks establish the efficacy of our proposed approach and acknowledge performance of node inoculation to delimit contagion outbreak.

Node centrality is one of the integral measures in network analysis with wide range of applications from socio-economic to personalized recommendation. We argue that an effective centrality measure should undertake stability even under information loss or noise introduced in the network. With six local information based centrality metric, we investigate the effect of varying assortativity while kee** degree distribution unchanged, using networks with scale free and exponential degree distribution. This model provides a novel scope to analyze stability of centrality metric which can further finds many applications in social science, biology, information science, community detection and so on.

Big Data, Cloud computing, Cloud Database Management techniques, Data Science and many more are the fantasizing words which are the future of IT industry. For all the new techniques one common thing is that they deal with Data, not just Data but the Big Data. Users store their various kinds of data on cloud repositories. Cloud Database Management System deals with such large sets of data. For processing such gigantic amount of data, traditional approaches are not suitable because these approaches are not able to handle such size of data. To handle these, various solutions have been developed such as Hadoop, Map Reduce Programming codes, HIVE, PIG etc. Map Reduce codes provides both scalability and reliability. But till date, users are habitual of SQL, Oracle kind of codes for dealing with data and they are not aware of Map Reduce codes. In this paper, a generalized model GENMR has been implemented, which takes queries written in various RDBMS forms like SQL, ORACLE, DB2, MYSQL and convert into Map Reduce codes. A comparison has been done to evaluate the performance of GENMR with latest techniques like HIVE and PIG and it has been concluded that GENMR shows much better performance as compare to both the techniques. We also introduce an optimization technique for mapper placement problems to enhance the effect of parallelism which improves the performance of such Amalgam approach.

When a person joins in an organization, he becomes authorize to take some decisions on behalf of that organization; means he is given some authority to exercise. After some time, on the basis of his performance in the organization, he is given promotion and he becomes eligible to exercise to some higher authorities. And further, he may get some higher promotion or he may leave the organization. So, during his stay in the organization, the authority of that person varies from the time he joins the organization until he/she leaves the organization. This paper presents the variation in authorities of a person in the organization. The method implements the queuing model to analyze the various people in the queue of their promotion and looks at various parameters like average waiting time etc.
