In this paper, we propose a new approach for the computation of the statistics of knowledge graphs. We introduce a schema graph that represents the main framework for the computation of the statistics. The core of the procedure is an algorithm that determines the sub-graph of the schema graph affected by the insertion of one triple into the triple-store. We first present the algorithms that use the minimal schema and the complete schema of a knowledge graph. Furthermore, we propose an algorithm in which the size of the schema graph can be controlled -- it is based on the $n$ levels from the upper part of the schema graph. We evaluate the algorithms empirically by using the Yago knowledge graph.

Abstract:
Wiener index, defined as the sum of distances between all unordered pairs of vertices, is one of the most popular molecular descriptors. It is well known that among 2-vertex connected graphs on $n\ge 3$ vertices, the cycle $C_n$ attains the maximum value of Wiener index. We show that the second maximum graph is obtained from $C_n$ by introducing a new edge that connects two vertices at distance tw…

It is well known that among 2-vertex connected graphs on $n\ge 3$ vertices, the cycle $C_n$ attains the maximum value of Wiener index. We show that the second maximum graph is obtained from $C_n$ by introducing a new edge that connects two vertices at distance two on the cycle if $n\ne 6$. If $n\ge 11$, the third maximum graph is obtained from a $4$-cycle by connecting opposite vertices by a path of length $n-3$. We completely describe also the situation for $n\le 10$.

Abstract:
The Wiener index (the distance) of a connected graph is the sum of distances between all pairs of vertices. In this paper, we study the maximum possible value of this invariant among graphs on $n$ vertices with fixed number of blocks $p$. It is known that among graphs on $n$ vertices that have just one block, the $n$-cycle has the largest Wiener index. And the $n$-path, which has $n-1$ blocks, has…

And the $n$-path, which has $n-1$ blocks, has the maximum Wiener index in the class of graphs on $n$ vertices. We show that among all graphs on $n$ vertices which have $p\ge 2$ blocks, the maximum Wiener index is attained by a graph composed of two cycles joined by a path (here we admit that one or both cycles can be replaced by a single edge, as in the case $p=n-1$ for example).

Abstract:
An extension of the well-known Szeged index was introduced recently, named as weighted Szeged index ($\textrm{sz}(G)$). This paper is devoted to characterizing the extremal trees and graphs of this new topological invariant. In particular, we proved that the star is a tree having the maximal $\textrm{sz}(G)$. Finding a tree with the minimal $\textrm{sz}(G)$ is not an easy task to be done. Here, we…

Here, we present the minimal trees up to 25 vertices obtained by computer and describe the regularities which retain in them. Our preliminary computer tests suggest that a tree with the minimal $\textrm{sz}(G)$ is also the connected graph of the given order that attains the minimal weighted Szeged index. Additionally, it is proven that among the bipartite connected graphs the complete balanced bipartite graph $K_{\left\lfloor n/2\right\rfloor\left\lceil n/2 \right\rceil}$ attains the maximal $\textrm{sz}(G)$\,. We believe that the $K_{\left\lfloor n/2\right\rfloor\left\lceil n/2 \right\rceil}$ is a connected graph of given order that attains the maximum $\textrm{sz}(G)$.

The atom-bond connectivity (ABC) index is a degree-based molecular structure descriptor that can be used for modelling thermodynamic properties of organic chemical compounds. Motivated by its applicable potential, a series of investigations have been carried out in the past several years. In this note we first consider graphs with given edge-connectivity that attain the maximum ABC index. In particular, we give an affirmative answer to the conjecture about the structure of graphs with edge-connectivity equal to one that maximize the ABC index, which was recently raised by Zhang, Yang, Wang and Zhang~\cite{zywz mabciggp-2016}. In addition, we provide supporting evidence for another conjecture posed by the same authors which concerns graphs that maximize the ABC index among all graphs with chromatic number equal to some fixed $χ\geq 3$. Specifically, we confirm this conjecture in the case where the order of the graph is divisible by $χ$.

Simultaneous broadcasting of multiple messages from the same source vertex in synchronous networks is considered under restrictions that each vertex receives at most one message in a unit time step, every received message can be sent out only in the next time step, no message is sent to already informed vertex. The number of outgoing messages in unrestricted, messages have unit length, and we assume full-duplex mode. In [9] we developed a concept of level-disjoint partitions to study simultaneous broadcasting under this model. In this work we consider the optimal number of level-disjoint partitions. We also provide a necessary condition in terms of eccentricity and girth on existence of $k$ $v$-rooted level-disjoint partitions of optimal height. In particular, we provide a structural characterization of graphs admitting two level-disjoint partitions with the same root.

We prove that every plane graph is 3-facially 11-colourable. As a consequence, we derive that every 2-connected plane graph with maximum face-size at most 7 is cyclically 11-colourable. These two bounds are for one off from those that are proposed by the (3l+1)-Conjecture and the Cyclic Conjecture.
