The large anomalous Hall effect (AHE) in antiferromagnetic (AF) materials arises from symmetry breaking equivalent to a ferromagnetic (FM) state. Consequently, this suggests that the observed AHE is induced by the intrinsic mechanism of the band structure effect, which in turn induces dissipationless transverse conductivity. Confirmation of impurity-insensitive anomalous Hall conductivity (AHC) is crucial to conclude this interpretation; however, experimental investigations in AF materials are limited by the lack of high quality systems. In this study, we show that the AF material NbMnP, which exhibits a large AHE, offers a high quality single crystal. Our findings clearly revealed that the large AHC and the tiny net magnetization of $\sim10^{-3} μ_{\mathrm{B}}$/Mn are inherent in this material, irrespective of disorder. NbMnP is a novel AF material that generates FM responses in the regime where there is less impurity scattering.

Here, we report $^{59}$Co nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies that are highly compatible with a ferroic quadrupole ordering below $T_0$. Changes in the NMR spectra below $T_0$ suggest that an external magnetic field induces ferroic Ce dipole moments orthogonal to the field, enabling domain selection in the nonmagnetic phase. Our findings suggest the presence of a ferroic $O_{zx}$-type quadrupole component in CeCoSi and demonstrate that quadrupole ordering may occur under well-separated CEF levels in tetragonal systems.

Specific antiferromagnetic (AF) spin configurations generate large anomalous Hall effects (AHEs) even at zero magnetic field through nonvanishing Berry curvature in momentum space. In addition to restrictions on AF structures, suitable control of AF domains is essential to observe this effect without cancellations among its domains; therefore, compatible materials remain limited. Here we show that an orthorhombic noncollinear AF material, NbMnP, acquired AF structure-based AHE and controllability of the AF domains. Theoretical calculations indicated that a large Hall conductivity of $\sim230$ $Ω^{-1}$cm$^{-1}$ originated from the AF structure of NbMnP. Symmetry considerations explained the production of a small net magnetization, whose anisotropy enabled the generation and cancellation of the Hall responses using magnetic fields in different directions. Finally, asymmetric hysteresis in NbMnP shows potential for development of controllability of responses in AF materials.

We discovered two different forms of CaPtAs during synthesis; one is a high-temperature tetragonal form that was previously reported, and the other is a low-temperature form consistent with the orthorhombic structure of CaPtP. According to the $^{75}$As-NQR measurement for superconducting tetragonal CaPtAs, the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate $1/T_1$ has an obvious coherence peak below $T_c$ and does not follow a simple exponential variation at low temperatures. These findings indicate that CaPtAs is a multigap superconductor and a large $s$-wave component.

Cubic CeZn shows a structural phase transition under pressure, and it modifies the ground state from an antiferromagnetic (AFM) state to a ferromagnetic (FM) state. To investigate how the FM state terminates at a quantum phase transition, we measured the electrical resistivity under pressure for a single crystal CeZn. The transition temperature into the FM state decreases monotonously with increasing pressure, accompanied by the pronounced Kondo effect, but a drastic change in the field response occurs before the ordered phase terminates. This result suggests that the FM quantum critical point is avoided by the appearance of an AFM-like state.

$^{139}$La nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements under pressure ($p = 0-2.64$ GPa) have been carried out to investigate the static and dynamic magnetic properties of the itinerant ferromagnet LaCrGe$_3$. $^{139}$La-NMR spectra for all measured pressures in the ferromagnetically ordered state show a large shift due to the internal field induction $|$$B_{\rm int}$$|$ $\sim$ 4 T at the La site produced by Cr ordered moments. The change in $B_{\rm int}$ by less than 5\% with $p$ up to 2.64~GPa indicates that the Cr 3$d$ moments are robust under pressure. The temperature dependence of NMR shift and $B_{\rm int}$ suggest that the ferromagnetic order develops below $\sim$ 50~K under higher pressures in a magnetic field of $\sim$ 7.2 T. Based on the analysis of NMR data using the self-consistent-renormalization (SCR) theory, the spin fluctuations in the paramagnetic state well above $T_{\rm C}$ are revealed to be three dimensional ferromagnetic throughout the measured $p$ region.

We performed $^{59}$Co nuclear magnetic and quadrupole resonance (NMR and NQR) measurements under pressure on a single-crystalline CeCoSi, which undergoes an unresolved phase transition at $T_0$. The NQR spectra clearly showed that the phase transition at $T_0$ is nonmagnetic, but any symmetry lowering at the Co site was not seen irrespective of the feature of second-order phase transition. By contrast, the NMR spectra were split by the induced magnetic field perpendicular to the external magnetic field. These results show that the phase below $T_0$ is not a simple paramagnetic state but is most likely electric multipolar ordered state of Ce $4f$ electrons. The development of the Kondo effect by applying pressure is thought to be crucial to stabilize this state and to show novel features beyond commonality of tetragonal Ce-based systems.

From the resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and nuclear magnetic resonance measurements using the crystals made by the Sn-flux method, the high-temperature (HT) phase is characterized to be metallic with a non-negligible magnetic anisotropy. The low-temperature (LT) phase is also found to be a nonmagnetic metallic state with a crystal of lower symmetry. In the LT phase, the spin susceptibility is reduced by ~30 % from that in the HT phase, suggesting that the phase transition is triggered by the electronic instability. The possible origin of the phase transition in NbCrP is discussed based on the electronic structure by comparing with those in other nonsymmorphic compounds RuP and RuAs.

Antiferromagnet Mn$_3$P with Neel temperature $T_N=30$ K is composed of Mn-tetrahedrons and zigzag chains formed by three inequivalent Mn sites. Due to the nearly frustrated lattice with many short Mn-Mn bonds, competition of the exchange interactions is expected. We here investigate the magnetic structure and physical properties including pressure effect in single crystals of this material, and reveal a complex yet well-ordered helimagnetic structure. The itinerant character of this materials is strong, and the ordered state with small magnetic moments is easily suppressed under pressure, exhibiting a quantum critical point at $\sim1.6$ GPa. The remarkable mass renormalization, even in the ordered state, and an incoherent-coherent crossover in the low-temperature region, characterize an unusual electronic state in Mn$_3$P, which is most likely effected by the underlying frustration effect.

We report $^{75}$As-NMR results for CrAs under pressure, which shows superconductivity adjoining a helimagnetically ordered state. We successfully evaluated the Knight shift from the spectrum, which is strongly affected by the quadrupole interaction. The Knight shift shows the remarkable feature that the uniform spin susceptibility increases toward low temperatures in the paramagnetic state. This is in sharp contrast to CrAs at ambient pressure, and also to cuprates and Fe pnictides, where antiferromagnetic correlations are dominant. Superconductivity emerges in CrAs under unique magnetic correlations, which probably originate in the three-dimensional zigzag structure of its nonsymmorphic symmetry.

The anisotropic changes in the electronic structure of a metal-to-insulator transition (MIT) material, RuAs, with two-step phase transition are reported by using polarized optical conductivity [$σ(ω)$] spectra, angle-integrated photoelectron (PE) spectra, and band calculations based on local density approximation (LDA). Both the PE and $σ(ω)$ spectra not only in the high-temperature (HT) phase but also in the low-temperature (LT) phase as well as the energy gap formation owing to the MIT were almost consistent with those derived from the LDA band calculations, so the fundamental electronic structure in the HT and LT phases can be explained without electron correlations. However, the electronic structure in the middle phase between the HT and LT phases has not been clarified. The polarized $σ(ω)$ spectra revealed not only the anisotropic energy gap formation but also the anisotropic gap-opening temperature, i.e., the energy gap along the $c$ axis in the HT phase starts to open near the higher transition temperature, but that along the $b$ axis opens below the lower transition temperature. The finding suggests that the two-step MIT originates from the anisotropic energy gap formation.

We report resistivity measurements under pressure for Kondo-lattice ferromagnet CeRh$_6$Ge$_4$, and present that a quantum ferromagnetic (FM) phase transition is easily achieved. In most clean metallic ferromagnets, a quantum critical point (QCP) at zero field is avoided by changing the FM transition to a discontinuous transition or to an antiferromagnetic transition. In CeRh$_6$Ge$_4$, to the contrary, the Curie temperature of 2.5 K decreases continuously as increasing pressure without any clear signature that the transition changes to first order. The obvious non Fermi liquid behavior is observed in the vicinity of the quantum FM phase transition. The experimental data do not contradict a picture in which CeRh$_6$Ge$_4$ shows the FM QCP at zero field. Band structure calculation suggests the unusual electronic state of CeRh$_6$Ge$_4$ among Ce-based Kondo lattices. CeRh$_6$Ge$_4$ deserves further investigations and will be a key material to understand the matter of the FM QCP.

The band structure of high carrier density metal CrP features an interesting crossing at the Y point of the Brillouin zone. The crossing, which is protected by the nonsymmorphic symmetry of the space group, results in a hybrid, semi-Dirac-like energy-momentum dispersion relation near Y. The linear energy-momentum dispersion relation along Y-$Γ$ is reminiscent of the observed band structure in several semimetallic extremely large magnetoresistance (XMR) materials. We have measured the transverse magnetoresistance of CrP up to 14 T at temperatures as low as $\sim$ 16 mK. Our data reveal a nonsaturating, quadratic magnetoresistance as well as the behaviour of the so-called `turn-on' temperature in the temperature dependence of resistivity. Despite the difference in the magnitude of the magnetoresistance and the fact that CrP is not a semimetal, these features are qualitatively similar to the observations reported for XMR materials. Thus, the high-field electrical transport studies of CrP offer the prospect of identifying the possible origin of the nonsaturating, quadratic magnetoresistance observed in a wide range of metals.

The single crystal of RuAs obtained by Bi-flux method shows obvious successive metal-insulator transitions at T_MI1~255 K and T_MI2~195$ K. The X-ray diffraction measurement reveals a formation of superlattice of 3x3x3 of the original unit cell below T_MI2, accompanied by a change of the crystal system from the orthorhombic structure to the monoclinic one. Simple dimerization of the Ru ions is nor seen in the ground state. The multiple As sites observed in nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) spectrum also demonstrate the formation of the superlattice in the ground state, which is clarified to be nonmagnetic. The divergence in 1/T_1 at T_MI1 shows that a symmetry lowering by the metal-insulator transition is accompanied by strong critical fluctuations of some degrees of freedom. Using the structural parameters in the insulating state, the first principle calculation reproduces successfully the reasonable size of nuclear quadrupole frequencies for the multiple As sites, ensuring the high validity of the structural parameters. The calculation also gives a remarkable suppression in the density of states (DOS) near the Fermi level, although the gap opening is insufficient. A coupled modulation of the calculated Ru d electron numbers and the crystal structure proposes a formation of charge density wave (CDW) in RuAs. Some lacking factors remain, but it shows that a lifting of degeneracy protected by the non-symmorphic symmetry through the superlattice formation is a key ingredient for the metal-insulator transition in RuAs.

In conventional metals, modification of electron trajectories under magnetic field gives rise to a magnetoresistance that varies quadratically at low field, followed by a saturation at high field for closed orbits on the Fermi surface. Deviations from the conventional behaviour, e.g. the observation of a linear magnetoresistance, or a non-saturating magnetoresistance, have been attributed to exotic electron scattering mechanisms. Recently, linear magnetoresistance has been observed in many Dirac materials, in which the electron-electron correlation is relatively weak. The strongly correlated helimagnet CrAs undergoes a quantum phase transition to a nonmagnetic superconductor under pressure. Near the magnetic instability, we observe a large and non-saturating quasilinear magnetoresistance from the upper critical field to 14 T at low temperatures. We show that the quasilinear magnetoresistance arises from an intricate interplay between a nontrivial band crossing protected by nonsymmorphic crystal symmetry and strong magnetic fluctuations

We report 73Ge-NMR and NQR results for ferromagnetic (FM) superconductor URhGe. The magnitude and direction of the internal field, H_int, and parameters of the electric field gradient at the Ge site were determined experimentally. Using powdered polycrystalline samples oriented by different methods, the field dependences of NMR shift and nuclear spin relaxation rates for H_0 // c (easy axis) and H_0 // b were obtained. From the NMR shifts for H_0 // b, we confirmed a gradual suppression of the Curie temperature and observed a phase separation near the spin reorientation. The observation of the phase separation gives microscopic evidence that the spin reorientation under H_0 // b is of first order at low temperatures. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1 indicates that the magnetic fluctuations are suppressed for H_0 // c, whereas the fluctuations remain strongly for H_0 // b. The enhancements of both 1/T_1T and the nuclear spin-spin relaxation rate 1/T_2 for H_0 // b toward the spin reorientation field suggest that the field-induced superconductivity in URhGe emerges under the magnetic fluctuations along the b axis and the c axis.

The NMR spectra for $H \perp c$ and $H \parallel c$ at 2.15GPa split below the ordered temperature, which is a microscopic evidence of the change in the magnetic ground state from the ferromagnetic (FM) state at ambient pressure to the antiferromagnetic (AFM) state under pressure. The analysis of NMR spectra suggests that the magnetic structure in AFM state is the stripe-type AFM state with the AFM moment $m_{\rm AFM} \perp c$-axis and changes by magnetic field perpendicular to $c$-axis. In addition, the dimensionality of magnetic correlations in the spin and the $k$ space is estimated. We reveal that three-dimensional magnetic correlations in CeRuPO are robust against pressure, which is quite different from the suppression of the magnetic correlations along the $c$-axis by Fe substitution in Ce(Ru$_{1-x}$Fe$_{x}$)PO.

Pressure-induced superconductivity was recently discovered in the binary helimagnet CrAs. We report the results of measurements of nuclear quadrupole resonance for CrAs under pressure. In the vicinity of the critical pressure P_c between the helimagnetic (HM) and paramagnetic (PM) phases, a phase separation is observed. The large internal field remaining in the phase-separated HM state indicates that the HM phase disappears through a strong first-order transition. This indicates the absence of a quantum critical point in CrAs; however, the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1 reveals that substantial magnetic fluctuations are present in the PM state. The absence of a coherence effect in 1/T_1 in the superconducting state provides evidence that CrAs is the first Cr-based unconventional superconductor.

We present NMR measurements of the layered nitride superconductor Li_xZrNCl. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate, 1/T_1, shows that the coherence peak is strongly suppressed in Li_xZrNCl in contrast to conventional BCS superconductors. In the lightly-doped region close to the insulating state, the system shows a gap-like behavior, i.e., pseudogap, that is characterized by a reduction in the magnitude of the Knight shift and 1/T_1T. A higher superconducting (SC) transition temperature, T_c, is achieved by coexisting with the pseudogap state. These unusual behaviors, which deviate from the ordinary BCS framework, are the key ingredients to understanding the SC mechanism of Li_xZrNCl.

We report the temperature-pressure-magnetic field phase diagram made from electrical resistivity measurements for the ferromagnetic (FM) Kondo lattice CeRuPO. The ground state at zero field changes from the FM state to another state, which is suggested to be an antiferromagnetic (AFM) state, above ~0.7 GPa, and the magnetically ordered state is completely suppressed at ~2.8 GPa. In addition to the collapse of the AFM state under pressure and a magnetic field, a metamagnetic (MM) transition from a paramagnetic state to a polarized paramagnetic state appears. CeRuPO will give us a rich playground for understanding the mechanism of the MM transition under comparable FM and AFM correlations in the Kondo lattice.

The pressure dependences of resistivity and ac susceptibility have been measured in the mineral calaverite AuTe$_2$. Resistivity clearly shows a first-order phase transition into a high-pressure phase, consistent with the results of a previous structural analysis. We found zero resistivity and a diamagnetic shielding signal at low temperatures in the high-pressure phase, which clearly indicates the appearance of superconductivity. Our experimental results suggest that bulk superconductivity appears only in the high-pressure phase. For AuTe$_2$, the highest superconducting transition temperature under pressure is $T_{\rm c}$ = 2.3 K at 2.34 GPa; it was $T_{\rm c}$ = 4.0 K for Pt-doped (Au$_{0.65}$Pt$_{0.35}$)Te$_2$. The difference in $T_{\rm c}$ between the two systems is discussed on the basis of the results obtained using the band calculations and McMillan's formula.

In Ca$_5$(Sc,Ti)$_4$Fe$_2$As$_2$O$_{11-y}$, the nuclear spin relaxation rate $1/T_1$ shows pseudogap behavior below $\sim80$ K, suggesting that the electronic state is similar to that of LaFeAs(O,F) system with moderate electron do**. The presence of the pseudogap behavior gives an interpretation that the hole-like band (so-called $γ$ pocket) is located just below the Fermi level from the analogy to LaFeAs(O,F) system and the disappearance of the $γ$ pocket yields the suppression of the low-energy spin fluctuations. On the other hand, in Ca$_4$(Mg,Ti)$_3$Fe$_2$As$_2$O$_{8-y}$ satisfying the structural optimal condition for higher $T_c$ among the perovskite systems, the extrinsic contribution, which presumably originates in the Ti moment, is observed in $1/T_1T$; however, the moderate temperature dependence of $1/T_1T$ appears by its suppression under high magnetic field. In both systems, the high $T_c$ of $\sim40$ K is realized in the absence of the strong development of the low-energy spin fluctuations. The present results reveal that the structural optimization does not induce the strong development of the low-energy spin fluctuations. If we consider that superconductivity is mediated by spin fluctuations, the structural optimization is conjectured to provide a benefit to the development of the high-energy spin fluctuations irrespective to the low-energy part.

In Bi4O4S3, the transition temperature Tc decreases monotonically without a distinct change in the metallic behavior in the normal state. In La(O,F)BiS2, on the other hand, Tc initially increases with increasing pressure and then decreases above ? 1 GPa. The semiconducting behavior in the normal state is suppressed markedly and monotonically, whereas the evolution of Tc is nonlinear. The strong suppression of the semiconducting behavior without do** in La(O,F)BiS2 suggests that the Fermi surface is located in the vicinity of some instability. In the present study, we elucidate that the superconductivity in the BiS2 layer favors the Fermi surface at the boundary between the semiconducting and metallic behaviors.

We report $^{77}$Se-nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) results down to sufficiently low temperatures under magnetic fields parallel to both the $ab$-plane and the c-axis in a paramagnetic/superconducting (PM/SC) phase of K$_x$Fe$_{2-y}$Se$_2$. The observation of anisotropy in the orbital part of the Knight shift results in the anisotropy of its spin part increasing on approaching the transition temperature. The anisotropy of the Korringa relation suggests the presence of the weak spin fluctuations with a finite wave vector $\bm{q}$, which induce the magnetic fluctuations along the ab-plane at the Se site. Such fluctuations do not correspond to the stripe $(π,0)$ correlation of the Fe moment observed in many Fe-based superconductors, and are not contradictory to weak $(π,π)$ correlations. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate $1/T_1$ shows a field-independent $T_1T \sim const.$ behavior at low temperatures for $H \parallel ab$, which is attributed to the nonzero density of states at the Fermi level and can be explained by the sign-changing order parameter even for nodeless gaps. The temperature dependence of $1/T_1$ is reproduced well by nodeless models with two isotropic gaps or a single anisotropic gap. The obtained gap magnitude in the isotropic two-gap model is comparable to those obtained in the angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy experiments.

A large variety of experiments clarifies the unusual properties of the ground state induced by the magnetic field from longitudinal antiferromagnetic (AF) mode at H = 0 to polarized paramagnetic phase in very high magnetic field. The separation between AF phase, paramagnetic phase and polarized paramagnetic phase varying with temperature, magnetic field and pressure is discussed on the basis of the experiments down to very low temperature. Similarities and differences between Rh and La substituted alloys are discussed with emphasis on the competition between transverse and longitudinal AF modes, and ferromagnetic fluctuations.

We focus on experimental results of URhGe and UCoGe in which the superconductivity occurs already at ambient pressure. The huge upper critical field Hc2 on UCoGe for the field along the hard magnetization axis (b-axis) is confirmed by the AC susceptibility measurements by the fine tuning of field angle. Contrary to the huge Hc2 along the hard-magnetization axis, Hc2 along the easy-magnetization axis (c-axis) is relatively small in value. However, the initial slope of Hc2, namely dHc2/dT (H -> 0) both in UCoGe and in URhGe indicates the large value, which can be explained by the magnetic domain effect detected in the magnetization measurements. The specific heat measurements using a high quality single crystal of UCoGe demonstrate the bulk superconductivity, which is extended under magnetic field for the field along c-axis.

The contrasting behavior between the relaxation rates 1/T_1 and 1/T_2 suggests that the longitudinal magnetic fluctuation of U moment is strongly enhanced especially near the CEP. A wide diffusion of the fluctuation from the CEP can be confirmed even in the PM state where the magnetic transition does not occur.

Resistivity and magnetostriction measurements were performed at high magnetic fields and under pressure on UCoAl. At ambient pressure, the 1st order metamagnetic transition at H_m ~ 0.7 T from the paramagnetic ground state to the field-induced ferromagnetic state changes to a crossover at finite temperature T_0 ~11 K. With increasing pressure, H_m linearly increases, while T_0 decreases and is suppressed at the quantum critical endpoint (QCEP, P_QCEP ~ 1.5 GPa, H_m ~ 7 T). At higher pressure, the value of H_m identified as a crossover continuously increases, while a new anomaly appears above P_QCEP at higher field H* in resistivity measurements. The field dependence of the effective mass (m*) obtained by resistivity and specific heat measurements exhibits a step-like drop at H_m at ambient pressure. With increasing pressure, it gradually changes into a peak structure and a sharp enhancement of m* is observed near the QCEP. Above P_QCEP, the enhancement of m* is reduced, and a broad plateau is found between H_m and H*. We compare our results on UCoAl with those of the ferromagnetic superconductor UGe2 and the itinerant metamagnetic ruthenate Sr3Ru2O7.

The characteristic point of this system is that the high density of state is located in the vicinity of the Fermi level. The comparison between Knight shift and nuclear spin lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1 shows that the antiferromagnetic spin correlation is not strong in this system, but it is reasonable to consider that its development toward low temperatures occurs. 1/T_1 in the superconducting state can be reproduced well by an s+- wave model, but a d wave model also roughly reproduces the data. Non exponential behavior in 1/T_1 at low temperatures disagrees with a single isotropic gap.

The finite values of C/T at 0K are discussed in terms of the self-induced vortex state and the value of the ordered moment. With increasing fields for H // b-axis in URhGe, the jump of thermal expansion increases and shifts to lower temperature. The re-entrant and S-shaped superconducting phases for URhGe and UCoGe respectively are explained by the unusual field dependence of the effective mass, which is induced by the ferromagnetic instability when the field is applied along the hard magnetization b-axis. The magnetic fluctuations are very sensitive to the field orientation. This is reflected in the Hc2 and the anisotropy of the effective mass.

From the comparison among several systems, we obtained a tendency that low T_c with the longer a-axis length at ambient pressure increases under pressure, but high T_c with the shorter a-axis length at ambient pressure hardly increases. We also report the ^75As-NMR results on Sr_2VFeAsO_3. NMR spectrum suggests that the magnetic ordering occurs at low temperatures accompanied by some inhomogeneity. In the superconducting state, we confirmed the anomaly by the occurrence of superconductivity in the nuclear spin lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1, but the spin fluctuations unrelated with the superconductivity are dominant. It is conjectured that the localized V-3d moments are magnetically ordered and their electrons do not contribute largely to the Fermi surface and the superconductivity in Sr_2VFeAsO_3.

We report that the pressure-temperature phase diagram of single-crystalline SrFe$_2$As$_2$ is easily affected by the hydrostaticity of a pressure-transmitting medium. For all of the three mediums we used, superconductivity with zero resistance appears, accompanied by the suppression of an antiferromagnetic (orthorhombic) phase, but the critical pressure $P_c$ was found to depend on the type of medium. $P_c$ was estimated to be 4.4 GPa under almost hydrostatic condition, but it decreased to $3.4-3.7$ GPa with the use of the medium already solidified at room temperature. The uniaxial stress along the c-axis is suggested to aid in the suppression of the antiferromagnetic (orthorhombic) phase. The pressure effect of BaFe$_2$As$_2$ is also reported.

The maximum T_c, which is determined by zero resistance, is 21 K at approximately 3.5 GPa. The onset value reaches ~37 K at 4.15 GPa. We also measure the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1 under pressure using 77Se--NMR measurement. 1/T_1 shows that bulk superconductivity is realized in the zero-resistance state. The pressure dependence of 1/T_1T just above T_c shows a plateau as well as the pressure dependence of T_c, which gives clear evidence of the close relationship between 1/T_1T and T_c. Spin fluctuations are suggested to contribute to the mechanism of superconductivity.

Superconductivity with a sharp transition appears accompanied by the suppression of the AFM state. T_c exhibits a maximum of 34.1 K, which is realized close to the phase boundary at P_c. This T_c is the highest among those of the stoichiometric Fe-based superconductors.

The nuclear-spin lattice relaxation rate $1/T_1$ shows $T^3$ behavior below the superconducting transition temperature $T_c$ without a coherence peak. The $T_1T=$ const. behavior, indicative of the Fermi liquid state, can be seen in a wide temperature range above $T_c$. The superconductivity in $α$-FeSe is also an unconventional one as well as LaFeAsO$_{1-x}$F$_x$ and related materials. The FeAs layer is not essential for the occurrence of the unconventional superconductivity.

We present evidence for unconventional superconducting fluctuations in a heavy-fermion compound CeNi$_2$Ge$_2$. The temperature dependence of the $^{73}$Ge nuclear-spin-lattice-relaxation rate $1/T_1$ indicates the development of magnetic correlations and the formation of a Fermi-liquid state at temperatures lower than $T_{\rm FL}=0.4$ K, where $1/T_1T$ is constant. The resistance and $1/T_1T$ measured on an as-grown sample decrease below $T_{\rm c}^{\rm onset} = 0.2$ K and $T_{\rm c}^{\rm NQR} = 0.1$ K, respectively; these are indicative of the onset of superconductivity. However, after annealing the sample to improve its quality, these superconducting signatures disappear. These results are consistent with the emergence of unconventional superconducting fluctuations in close proximity to a quantum critical point from the superconducting to the normal phase in CeNi$_2$Ge$_2$.

The temperature ($T$) dependence of $1/T_1$ behaves as if approaching closely an antiferromagnetic (AFM) quantum critical point (QCP), following the relation $1/T_{1}\propto T/(T-T_{\rm N})^{1/2}$ with $T_{\rm N} = 0.06$ K in the range of $T=1.3-25$ K. The onset of either the spin-density-wave (SDW) or charge-density-wave (CDW) order at $T_{\rm 0} = 0.9$ K, that is, of the first order, is evidenced by a broadening of the NQR spectrum and a marked reduction in $1/T_1$ just below $T_{\rm 0}$. The $f$-electron-derived correlated band realized in CeOs$_{4}$Sb$_{12}$ is demonstrated to give rise to the novel phase transition on the verge of AFM QCP.

We report on the itinerant ferromagnetic superconductor UGe_2 through ^73Ge-NQR measurements under pressure (P). The P dependence of the NQR spectrum signals a first-order transition from the low-temperature (T) and low-P ferromagnetic phase (FM2) to high-T and high-P one (FM1) around a critical pressure of P_x ~ 1.2 GPa. The superconductivity exhibiting a maximum value of T_sc=0.7 K at P_x ~ 1.2 GPa, was found to take place in connection with the P-induced first-order transition. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1 has probed the ferromagnetic transition, exhibiting a peak at the Curie temperature as well as a decrease without the coherence peak below T_sc. These results reveal the uniformly coexistent phase of ferromagnetism and unconventional superconductivity with a line-node gap. We remark on an intimate interplay between the onset of superconductivity and the underlying electronic state for the ferromagnetic phases.

We have found a $P$-induced phase separation of AFM and paramagnetism (PM) without any trace for a quantum phase transition in CeIn$_3$. A new type of superconductivity (SC) was found in $P=2.28-2.5$ GPa to coexist with AFM that is magnetically separated from PM where the heavy fermion SC takes place. We propose that the magnetic excitations such as spin-density fluctuations induced by the first-order magnetic phase transition might mediate attractive interaction to form Cooper pairs.

We report a coexistence of superconductivity and antiferromagnetism in five-layered compound HgBa$_2$Ca$_4$Cu$_5$O$_y$ (Hg-1245) with $T_c=108$ K, which is composed of two types of CuO$_2$ planes in a unit cell; three inner planes (IP's) and two outer planes (OP's). The Cu-NMR study has revealed that the optimallydoped OP undergoes a superconducting (SC) transition at $T_c=108$ K, whereas the three underdoped IP's do an antiferromagnetic (AF) transition below $T_N\sim$ 60 K with the Cu moments of $\sim (0.3-0.4)μ_B$. Thus bulk superconductivity with a high value of $T_c=108$ K and a static AF ordering at $T_N=60$ K are realized in the alternating AF and SC layers. The AF-spin polarization at the IP is found to induce the Cu moments of $\sim0.02μ_B$ at the SC OP, which is the AF proximity effect into the SC OP.

We report the electronic and superconducting properties in the Pr-based filled-skutterudite superconductor PrRu$_4$Sb$_{12}$ with $T_c = 1.3$ K via the measurements of nuclear-quadrupole-resonance (NQR) frequency $ν_Q$ and nuclear-spin-lattice-relaxation time $T_1$ of Sb nuclei. The temperature dependence of $ν_Q$ has revealed the energy scheme of Pr$^{3+}$ crystal electric field (CEF) that is consistent with an energy separation $Δ_{CEF}\sim 70$K between the ground state and the first-excited state. In the normal state, the Korringa relation of $(1/T_1T)_{Pr}$=const. is valid, with [$(1/T_{1}T$)$_{Pr}$/$(1/T_{1}T$)$_{La}$]$^{1/2}$ $\sim$ 1.44 where $(1/T_1T)_{La}$ is for LaRu$_4$Sb$_{12}$. These results are understood in terms of a conventional Fermi liquid picture in which the Pr-$4f^2$ state derives neither magnetic nor quadrupolar degrees of freedom at low temperatures. In the superconducting state, $1/T_1$ shows a distinct coherence peak just below $T_c$, followed by an exponential decrease with a value of 2$Δ/k_{B}T_{c}$ = 3.1. These results demonstrate that PrRu$_4$Sb$_{12}$ is a typical weak-coupling s-wave superconductor, in strong contrast with the heavy-fermion superconductor PrOs$_4$Sb$_{12}$ that is in an unconventional strong coupling regime. The present study on PrRu$_4$Sb$_{12}$ highlights that the Pr-$4f^2$derived non-magnetic doublet plays a key role in the unconventional electronic and superconducting properties in PrOs$_4$Sb$_{12}$.

The temperature (T) dependence of nuclear-spin-lattice-relaxation rate 1/T_1 and NQR frequency unravel a low-lying crystal-electric-field splitting below T_0~10 K, associated with Pr^3+ (4f^2)-derived ground state. The emergence of T_1T=const. behavior below T_F~4 K points to the formation of heavy-quasiparticle state. In the SC state, 1/T_1 shows neither a coherence peak nor a T^3like power-law behavior observed for HF superconductors to date. The isotropic energy-gap with a size of gap Delta/k_B=4.8 K begins to already open up at T^*~2.3 K without any coherence effect just below T_c=1.85 K. We highlight that the superconductivity in PrOs_4Sb_12, which is in an unconventional strong-coupling regime, differs from a conventional s-wave type and any unconventional ones with the line-node gap.

We report $^{11}$B-NMR study on Al-doped MgB$_2$ that addresses a possible mechanism for a high superconducting (SC) transition temperature ($T_c$) of $\sim 40$ K in recently discovered MgB$_2$. The result of nuclear spin lattice relaxation rate $1/T_1$ in the SC state revealed that the size in the SC gap is not changed by substituting Al for Mg. The reduction on $T_c$ by Al-do** is shown to be due to the decrease of $N(E_F)$. According to the McMillan equation, the experimental relation between $T_c$ and the relative change in $N(E_F)$ allowed us to estimate a characteristic phonon frequency $ω\sim 700$ K and an electron-phonon coupling constant $λ\sim 0.87$. These results suggest that the high-$T_c$ superconductivity in MgB$_2$ is mediated by the strong electron-phonon coupling with high-frequency phonons.
