Evidence for Time-Reversal-Symmetry-Broken Superconductivity in Locally Noncentrosymmetric SrPtAs

The London Equation in Quantum Spin Hall System with Electronic Correlation

Intrinsic and extrinsic origins of the polar Kerr effect in a chiral p-wave superconductor
Abstract: Recently, the measurement of the polar Kerr effect (PKE) in the quasi two-dimensional superconductor Sr2RuO4, which is motivated to observe the chirality of px + i py-wave pairing, has been reported. We clarify that the PKE has intrinsic and extrinsic (disorder-induced) origins. The extrinsic contribution would be dominant in the PKE experiment.

Transient Oscillation of Currents in Quantum Hall Effect of Bloch Electrons
Abstract: We consider the quantum Hall effect of two-dimensional electrons with a periodic potential and study the time dependence of the Hall and longitudinal currents when the electric field is applied abruptly. We find that the currents oscillate in time with very large frequencies because of quantum fluctuation and the oscillations eventually vanish, for their amplitudes decay as 1/t.

Temporal Oscillation of Conductances in Quantum Hall Effect of Bloch Electrons

Flux flow resistivity in the two-gap superconductivity

Flux flow resistivity in the system with multiple superconducting gaps
Abstract: We calculate the flux flow resistivity in a superconductor with multiple s-wave superconducting gaps. Our result agrees well with anomalous field dependence of the resistivity recently observed in the two-gap superconductor MgB$_2$.

Berry phase and quantized Hall effect in three-dimension
Abstract: We consider Bloch electrons in the electromagnetic field and argue the relation between the Berry phase and the quantized Hall conductivity in three-dimension. The Berry phase we consider here is induced by the adiabatic change of the time-dependent vector potential. Chiral Correction to the Spin Fluctuation Feedback in two-dimensional p-wave Superconductors
Abstract: We consider the stability of the superconducting phase for spin-triplet p-wave pairing in a quasi-two-dimensional system. We show that in the absence of spin-orbit coupling there is a chiral contribution to spin fluctuation feedback which is related to spin quantum Hall effect in a chiral superconducting phase. We show that this mechanism supports the stability of a chiral p-wave state.

Chiral feedback for p-wave superconductors
Abstract: In a quasi-two-dimensional $ p $-wave superconductor there find six Cooper pairing states which are degenerate within the weak-coupling approach. We show that this degeneracy can be lifted by feedback effect favoring the so-called chiral $ p $-wave state. This effect is based on the anomalous coupling between charge and current in a system with broken time reversal symmetry and parity.

E-B Mixing in T-violating Superconductors
Abstract: We analyze time reversal violating processes of the p-wave superconductor. Abelian Chern-Simons Term in Superfluid 3He-A
Abstract: We show in this paper that Abelian Chern-Simons term is induced in 2+1 and 3+1 dimensional rotating superfluid $^{3}$He-A and plays important roles in its dynamics. Because U(1) symmetry is spontaneously broken in $^{3}$He-A, Goldstone mode appears and contributes to induced Chern-Simons term.
