We find that while the occurrence of cold Jupiters in systems with super-Earths is $22.2\substack{+8.3\\-5.4}$$\%$, compared to $10$$\%$ for the absolute occurrence rate of cold Jupiters, the occurrence of super-Earths in systems with cold Jupiters is $66.0\substack{+18.0\\-16.0}$$\%$, compared to $30$$\%$ for the absolute occurrence rate of super-Earths for sun-like stars. We find that the enhancement of super-Earths in systems with cold Jupiters is evident for sun-like stars, in agreement with several previous studies. We also conduct occurrence studies between warm Jupiters and super-Earths, and between warm Jupiters and cold Jupiters, to consolidate our methods. We conduct an independent observational test to study the effects of cold Jupiters against the inner multiplicity using the well-established giant planet host star metallicity correlation for all transiting planets found to date. The conditional occurrences we find here can be used to constrain the validity of various planetary formation models. The extremely interesting correlations between the super-Earths, cold Jupiters, and warm Jupiters can also be used to understand the formation histories of these planetary types.

We present the intra-cluster kinematics and dynamics of three open clusters: NGC 1193, NGC 2355, and King 12 by incorporating kinematical and photometric data from Gaia DR3, as well as a ground-based telescope. After selecting cluster members based on proper motion data, clusters' fundamental and structural parameters are investigated. We found the clusters at distances of 4.45, 1.97, and 3.34 kpc from the Sun in the direction of the Galactic anticenter. The luminosity function of the cluster NGC 1193 is flat, whereas it advances towards the fainter ends of the other two clusters. We observed a dip in the luminosity function of King 12. The mass function slopes for all three clusters differ from the solar neighbourhood reported by Salpeter, with NGC 1193 and NGC 2355 being flatter and King 12 having a higher value than the Salpeter value. The intra-cluster kinematics depict that stars in King 12 are moving outwards due to tidal forces from the Galactic disc, which we confirmed by plotting the cluster's orbit in the Galaxy. Stars in NGC 2355 are moving with smaller relative velocities and have zero mean relative motion, which signifies that the cluster is neither contracting nor evaporating. The Galactic orbits of NGC 1193 suggest that it is orbiting farther from the Galactic disc, and so is less impacted by the Galactic tidal forces.

A total of 131 most probable cluster members are picked within the cluster's radius based on the membership probability ($> 80\%$). The cluster's radius was estimated as 3.74 arcmin. The mean proper motion (PM) of Be 27 was determined to be ($μ_α cosδ$, $μ_δ$)= ($-1.076\pm0.008$, $0.152\pm0.007$)~mas~yr$^{-1}$. The blue straggler stars (BSS) of the cluster were found to be located in the central region. Theoretical isochrones of metallicity Z$_{metal}$= 0.008 were compared to the color-magnitude diagram (CMD) of Be 27. As a result, a heliocentric distance of 4.8$\pm$0.2 kpc and log (age) = 9.36$\pm$0.03 were determined for Be 27. The Galactic orbits are derived using the Galactic potential model which demonstrate that Be 27 follows a circular path around the Galactic center. The cluster does not seem to be affected much by the tidal forces from the Galactic thin disk.

We present and analyze 58 transit light curves of TrES-3b and 98 transit light curves of Qatar-1b observed by Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), plus two transit light curves of Qatar-1b observed by us using a ground-based 1.23\,m telescope. These light curves are combined with the best-quality light curves taken from the Exoplanet Transit Database (ETD) and literature. The precisely determined mid-transit times from these light curves enable us to obtain the refined orbital ephemerides with improved precision for both hot Jupiters. From the timing analysis, we find an indication for the presence of transit timing variations (TTVs) in both systems. Since the observed TTVs are unlikely to be short-term and periodic, the possibility of additional planets in the orbits close to TrES-3b and Qatar-1b are ruled out. Possible causes of long-term TTVs such as orbital decay, apsidal precession, the Applegate mechanism and line-of-sight acceleration are also examined. However, none of these possibilities are found to explain the observed TTV of TrES-3b. In contrast to this, the line-of-sight acceleration appears to be a plausible explanation for the observed TTV of Qatar-1b. In order to confirm these findings, further high-precision transit and RV observations of both systems would be worthwhile.

We identified 382 and 597 most probable cluster members with membership probability higher than 50 percent. Mean proper motion in RA and DEC are estimated as -1.63 and 2.889 respectively for Haffner 22 and -2.398 and 4.210 for Melotte 71. A comparison of observed CMDs with theoretical isochrones leads to an age of 2.25 and 1.27 Gyr for these clusters. The distances 2.88 and 2.28 kpc based on parallax are comparable with the values derived by isochrone fitting method. Five and four blue straggler stars are identified as cluster members in Haffner 22 and Melotte 71 respectively. Based on the relative number of high velocity (binary) and single stars, we inferred binary fractions for both clusters. We found binary content is larger in core region. Mass function slope is in good agreement with the Salpeter's value while it is flat for Haffner 22. Evidence for the existence of mass segregation effect is observed in both clusters. Using the Galactic potential models, Galactic orbits are derived, indicating that both clusters follow a circular path around the Galactic center, evolving slowly.

The transit timing variation (TTV) and transmission spectroscopy analyses of the planet HAT-P-37b, which is a hot Jupiter orbiting an G-type star, were performed. Nine new transit light curves are obtained and analysed together with 21 published light curves from the literature. The updated physical parameters of HAT-P-37b are presented. The TTV analyses show a possibility that the system has an additional planet which induced the TTVs amplitude signal of 1.74 $\pm$ 0.17 minutes. If the body is located near the 1:2 mean motion resonance orbit, the sinusoidal TTV signal could be caused by the gravitational interaction of a sub-Earth mass planet with mass of 0.06 $M_\oplus$. From the analysis of an upper mass limit for the second planet, the Saturn mass planet with orbital period less than 6 days is excluded. The broad-band transmission spectra of HAT-P-37b favours a cloudy atmospheric model with an outlier spectrum in $B$-filter.

The blue straggler stars (BSS) of King 11 show a centrally concentrated radial distribution. The values of limiting radius, age, and distance are determined as 18.51 arcmin, 3.63$\pm$0.42 Gyr and $3.33\pm0.15$ kpc, respectively. The cluster's apex coordinates ($A=267.84^{\circ} \pm 1.01^{\circ}$, $D=-27.48^{\circ} \pm 1.03^{\circ}$) are determined using the apex diagram (AD) method and verified using the ($μ_U$,$μ_T$) diagram. We also obtained the orbit that the cluster follows in the Galaxy and estimated its tentative birthplace in the disk. The resulting spatial velocity of King 11 is 60.2 $\pm$ 2.16 km s$^{-1}$. A significant oscillation along the $Z$-coordinate up to 0.556$\pm$0.022~kpc is determined.

The membership determination for open clusters in noisy environments of the Milky Way is still an open problem. In this paper, our main aim is provide the membership probability of stars using proper motions and parallax values of stars using Gaia EDR3 astrometry. Apart from the Gaia astrometry, we have also used other photometric data sets like UKIDSS, WISE, APASS and Pan-STARRS1 in order to understand cluster properties from optical to mid-infrared regions. We selected 438 likely members with membership probability higher than $50\%$ and G$\le$20 mag. We obtained the mean value of proper motion as $μ_{x}=1.27\pm0.001$ and $μ_{y}=-0.73\pm0.002$ mas yr$^{-1}$. The cluster's radius is determined as 7.5 arcmin (5.67 pc) using radial density profile. Our analysis suggests that NGC 1348 is located at a distance of $2.6\pm0.05$ kpc. The mass function slope is found to be $1.30\pm0.18$ in the mass range 1.0$-$4.1 $M_\odot$, which is in fair agreement with Salpeter's value within the 1$σ$ uncertainty. The present study validates that NGC 1348 is a dynamically relaxed cluster. We computed the apex coordinates $(A, D)$ for NGC 1348 as $(A_\circ, D_\circ)$ = $(-23^{\textrm{o}}.815\pm 0^{\textrm{o}}.135$, $-22^{\textrm{o}}.228\pm 0^{\textrm{o}}.105)$. In addition, calculations of the velocity ellipsoid parameters (VEPs), matrix elements $μ_{ij}$, direction cosines ($l_j$, $m_j$, $n_j$) and the Galactic longitude of the vertex have been also conducted in this analysis.

For this purpose we use different data taken from VVV survey, WISE, VPHAS, APASS, GLIMPSE along with Gaia~EDR3 astrometric data. We identified 584, 429, 692 and 273 most probable cluster members with membership probability higher than 80 % towards the region of clusters NGC 5617, Trumpler 22, NGC 3293 and NGC 3324. We estimated the value of R as ~ 3.1 for clusters NGC 5617 and Trumpler 22, which indicates normal extinction law. The value of R ~ 3.8 and 1.9 represent the abnormal extinction law towards the clusters NGC 3293 and NGC 3324. Our Kinematical analysis show that all these clusters have circular orbits. Ages are found to be 90\pm10 and 12\pm3 Myr for the cluster pairs (NGC 5617 and Trumpler 22) and (NGC 3293 and NGC 3324), respectively. The distances of 2.43\pm0.08, 2.64\pm0.07, 2.59\pm0.1 and 2.80\pm0.2 kpc estimated using parallax are alike to the values calculated by using the distance modulus. We have also identified 18 and 44 young stellar object candidates present in NGC 5617 and Trumpler 22, respectively. Mass function slopes are found to be in fair agreement with the Salpeter's value. The dynamical study of these objects shows a lack of faint stars in their inner regions, which leads to the mass-segregation effect. Our study indicates that NGC 5617 and Trumpler 22 are dynamically relaxed but the other pair of clusters are not. Orbital alongwith the physical parameters show that the clusters in both pairs are physically connected.

Considering the importance of investigating the transit timing variations (TTVs) of transiting exoplanets, we present a follow-up study of HAT-P-12b. We include six new light curves observed between 2011 and 2015 from three different observatories, in association with 25 light curves taken from the published literature. The sample of the data used, thus covers a time span of about 10.2 years with a large coverage of epochs (1160) for the transiting events of the exoplanet HAT-P-12b. The light curves are used to determine the orbital parameters and conduct an investigation of possible transit timing variations. The new linear ephemeris shows a large value of reduced chi-square = 7.93, and the sinusoidal fitting using the prominent frequency coming from a periodogram shows a reduced chi-square around 4. Based on these values and the corresponding O-C diagrams, we suspect the presence of a possible non-sinusoidal TTV in this planetary system. Finally, we find that a scenario with an additional non-transiting exoplanet could explain this TTV with an even smaller reduced chi-square value of around 2.

Motivated by the unsettled conclusion on whether there are any transit timing variations (TTVs) for the exoplanet Qatar-1b, 10 new transit light curves are presented and the TTV analysis with a baseline of 1400 epochs are performed. Because the linear model provides a good fitting with reduced chi-square = 2.59 and the false-alarm probabilities of possible TTV frequencies are as large as 35 %, our results are consistent with a null-TTV model. Nevertheless, a new ephemeris with the reference time T_0 = 2455647.63360\pm 0.00008 (BJD) and the period P= 1.4200236\pm 0.0000001 (day) is obtained. In addition, the updated orbital semi-major axis and planetary radius in unit of stellar radius are being provided, and the lower limit of modified stellar tidal quality factor is also determined.

The overall mass function slope (0.93 \pm 0.14) is flatter than the Salpeter value (1.35) within the mass range 1.17-1.44 M_\odot. This cluster also shows the mass-segregation effect and our study demonstrates that NGC 2158 is a dynamically relaxed open cluster. Using the AD-diagram, the apex coordinates of the cluster are obtained in different ways and examined using (μ_{U},μ_{T}) diagram. The best value of apex coordinates is determined as A=87.24^\circ \pm 1.60^\circ, D=-36.61^\circ \pm 5.30 ^\circ. We also determined the orbit of the cluster and found that NGC 2158 moves almost in the Solar antapex direction. The resulting spatial velocity of NGC 2158 is 51 km s^{-1}. A significant oscillations along the Z-coordinate up to 529~pc is detected. Various scenarios regarding the origin of this cluster are also discussed.

The mean proper motion of the cluster is obtained as $μ_{x}=-8.83\pm0.01$ and $μ_{y}=1.49\pm0.006$ mas yr$^{-1}$. We find the normal interstellar extinction towards the cluster region. The radial distribution of members provides a cluster radius of 7.75 arcmin (5.63 pc). The estimated age of $1600\pm180$ Myr indicates that NGC 4337 is an old open cluster with a bunch of red giant stars. The overall mass function slope for main-sequence stars is found as $1.46\pm0.18$ within the mass range 0.75$-$2.0 $M_\odot$, which is in fair agreement with Salpeter's value (x=1.35) within uncertainty. The present study demonstrates that NGC 4337 is a dynamically relaxed open cluster. Using the Galactic potential model, Galactic orbits are obtained for NGC 4337. We found that this object follows a circular path around the Galactic center. Under the kinematical analysis, we compute the apex coordinates $(A, D)$ by using two methods: (i) the classical convergent point method and (ii) the AD-diagram method. The obtained coordinates are: $(A_{conv}, D_{conv})$ = (96$^{\textrm{o}}$.27 $\pm$ 0$^{\textrm{o}}$.10, 13$^{\textrm{o}}$.14 $\pm$ 0$^{\textrm{o}}$.27) $\&$ $(A_\circ, D_\circ)$ = (100$^{\textrm{o}}$.282 $\pm$ 0$^{\textrm{o}}$.10, 9$^{\textrm{o}}$.577 $\pm$ 0$^{\textrm{o}}$.323) respectively. We also computed the Velocity Ellipsoid Parameters (VEPs), matrix elements ($μ_{ij}$), direction cosines ($l_j$, $m_j$, $n_j$) and the Galactic longitude of the vertex ($l_2$).

We present twelve new transit light curves of the hot-Jupiter TrES-3b observed during $2012-2018$ to probe the transit timing variation (TTV). By combining the mid-transit times determined from these twelve transit data with those re-estimated through uniform procedure from seventy one transit data available in the literature, we derive new linear ephemeris and obtain the timing residuals that suggest the possibility of TTV in TrES-3 system. However, the frequency analysis shows that the possible TTV is unlikely to be periodic, indicating the absence of an additional body in this system. To explore the other possible origins of TTV, the orbital decay and apsidal precession ephemeris models are fitted to the transit time data. We find decay rate of TrES-3b to be $\bf \dot{P_q}= -4.1 \pm 3.1$ $ms$ ${yr}^{-1}$ and the corresponding estimated modified tidal quality factor of ${Q}^{'}_{\ast}$ $\sim 1.11 \times {10}^{5}$ is consistent with the theoretically predicted values for the stars hosting the hot-Jupiters. The shift in the transit arrival time of TrES-3b after eleven years is expected to be ${T}_{shift}\sim 69.55 \ s$, which is consistent with the $RMS$ of the timing residuals. Besides, we find that the apsidal precession ephemeris model is statistically less probable than the other considered ephemeris models. It is also discussed that despite the linear ephemeris model appears to be the most plausible model to represent the transit time data, the possibility of the orbital decay cannot be completely ruled out in TrES-3 system. In order to confirm this, further high-precision and high-cadence follow-up observation of transits of TrES-3b would be important.

The kinematical parameters, spatial shape and structure of the open cluster IC 2391 and the associated stellar stream are studied here using Gaia-DR2 (GDR2) astrometry data. The apex positions are determined for the open cluster IC 2391 (data taken from Cantat-Gaudin et al.) and for the kinematical streams stars mentioned in Montes et al. using both convergent point and AD-diagram methods. The values of apex coordinates identified. The results are in good agreement with the previously calculated values. The positions of the stars in the disk and the spatial dispersion velocities are determined. The paths of cluster and associated stream are traced in the disk by orbit calculation back in time to their places of formation. A possible genetic relationship between the cluster and the stream has been detected. The approximation of the spatial and kinematical shape of the stream and the cluster is made. According to this study, even though currently the cluster and the stream seem to have spatial difference in their locations but they appear to have formed in the same region of the Galactic disk.

Archive images with time gap of 11.1 years were observed with wide-field imager (WFI) mosaic camera mounted on ESO 2.2 m telescope. The median value of PM error in both components is 0.7 mas/yr for the stars having V less than or equal to 20 mag. PMs are used to determine membership probabilities and to separate field stars from the cluster sample. In electronic form, a membership catalog of 3725 stars with precise coordinates, PMs, BVRI photometry is being provided. One of the possible applications of the catalog was shown by gathering the membership information of the variable stars, blue stragglers and X-ray sources reported earlier in the cluster's region.

A study of cluster characteristics and internal kinematical structure of the middle-aged Pleiades open star cluster is presented. The individual star apexes and various cluster kinematical parameters including the velocity ellipsoid parameters are determined using both Hipparcos and Gaia data. Modern astrometric parameters were taken from the Gaia Data Release 1 (DR1) in combination with the Radial Velocity Experiment Fifth Data Release (DR5). The necessary set of parameters including parallaxes, proper motions and radial velocities are used for n=17 stars from Gaia DR1+RAVE DR5 and for n=19 stars from the Hipparcos catalog using SIMBAD data base. Single stars are used to improve accuracy by eliminating orbital movements. RAVE DR5 measurements were taken only for the stars with the radial velocity errors not exceeding $2$~km/s. For the Pleiades stars taken from Gaia, we found mean heliocentric distance as $136.8 \pm 6.4$~pc, and the apex position is calculated as: $A_{CP}=92^\circ.52\pm1^\circ.72$, $D_{CP}=-42^\circ.28\pm2^\circ.56$ by the convergent point method and $A_0=95^\circ.59\pm2^\circ.30$ and $D_0=-50^\circ.90\pm2^\circ.04$ using AD-diagram method (n=17 in both cases). The results are compared with those obtained historically before the Gaia mission era.

With a high value of heliocentric radial velocity, a retrograde orbit, and being suspected to have an extragalactic origin, NGC 3201 is an interesting globular cluster for kinematical studies. Our purpose is to calculate the relative proper motions (PMs) and membership probability for the stars in the wide region of globular cluster NGC 3201. Proper motion based membership probabilities are used to isolate the cluster sample from the field stars. The membership catalogue will help address the question of chemical inhomogeneity in the cluster. Archive CCD data taken with a wide-field imager (WFI) mounted on the ESO 2.2m telescope are reduced using the high-precision astrometric software developed by Anderson et al. for the WFI images. The epoch gap between the two observational runs is $\sim$14.3 years. To standardize the $BVI$ photometry, Stetson's secondary standard stars are used. The CCD data with an epoch gap of $\sim$14.3 years enables us to decontaminate the cluster stars from field stars efficiently. The median precision of PMs is better than $\sim$0.8 mas~yr$^{-1}$ for stars having $V<$18 mag that increases up to $\sim$1.5 mas~yr$^{-1}$ for stars with $18<V<20$ mag. Kinematic membership probabilities are calculated using proper motions for stars brighter than $V\sim$20 mag. An electronic catalogue of positions, relative PMs, $BVI$ magnitudes and membership probabilities in $\sim$19.7$\times$17 arcmin$^2$ region of NGC 3201 is presented. We use our membership catalogue to identify probable cluster members among the known variables and $X$-ray sources in the direction of NGC 3201.

We determined various astrophysical parameters like limited radius, core and tidal radii, distance, luminosity and mass functions, total mass, relaxation time etc. for the cluster using 2MASS catalog. We obtained the cluster's distance from the Sun as 1721+/-41 pc and log (age)= 9.85+/-0.05 at Solar metallicity. The relaxation time of the cluster is smaller than the estimated cluster age which suggests that the cluster is dynamically relaxed. Our results agree with the values mentioned in the literature. We also determined the cluster's apex coordinates as (281.88 deg, -44.76 deg) using AD-diagram method. Other kinematical parameters like space velocity components, cluster center and elements of Solar motion etc. have also been computed.

We used the individual stellar apexes method developed earlier and classical technique of proper motion diagrams in coordinate system connected with apex. The neighbour-to-neighbour distance technique was applied to detect space details. The membership list was corrected and some stars were excluded from the most probable members list. The apex coordinates have been determined as: A0=132.97deg+/-0.81deg and D0=11.85deg+/-0.90deg. The 2D-space star density field was analysed and high degree of inhomogeneity was found.

Relative proper motions and cluster membership probabilities have been derived for ~ 2500 stars in the field of the open star cluster NGC 3766. The cluster has been observed in $B$ and $V$ broadband filters at two epochs separated by ~ 6 years using a wide-field imager mounted on the [email protected] telescope. All CCD frames were reduced using the astrometric techniques described in Anderson et al. (2006). The proper motion r.m.s. error for stars brighter than $V$ ~ 15 mag is 2.0 mas/yr but it gradually increases up to ~4 mas/yr at $V$ ~20 mag. Using proper motion data, membership probabilities have been derived for the stars in the region of the cluster. They indicate that three Be and one Ap stars are member of the cluster. The reddening $E(B-V)=0.22\pm0.05$ mag, a distance 2.5$\pm$0.5 kpc and an age of ~ 20 Myr are derived using stars of $P_μ>70%$. Mass function slope $x=1.60\pm0.10$ is derived for the cluster and cluster was found to be dynamically relaxed. Finally, we provide positions, calibrated $B$ and $V$ magnitudes, relative proper motions and membership probabilities for the stars in the field of NGC 3766. We have produced a catalog that is electronically available to the astronomical community.

NGC 6809 is a luminous metal-poor halo globular cluster that is relatively easy to study due to its proximity and low concentration. Because of its high Galactic latitude (b = -23deg), interstellar reddening and contamination is not very high. We aim to determine the relative proper motion and membership probability of the stars in the wide area of globular cluster NGC 6809. To target cluster members reliably during spectroscopic surveys and both spatial and radial distributions in the cluster outskirts without including field stars, a good proper motion and membership probability catalogue of NGC 6809 is required. The archival data of two epochs with a time-base line of 7.1 years have been collected with Wide Field Imager (WFI) mounted on the 2.2m MPG/ESO telescope. The CCD images of both epochs have been reduced using the astrometric techniques as described in Anderson et al. (2006). The calibrated UBVI magnitudes have been derived using Stetson's secondary standard stars. We derived the relative proper motion and membership probabilities for \sim 12600 stars in the field of globular cluster NGC 6809. The measurement error in proper motions for the stars of V \sim 17 mag is 2.0 mas/yr, gradually increasing up to \sim 3 mas/yr at V = 20 mag. We also provide the membership probability for the published different types of sources in NGC 6809. An electronic catalogue with proper motion and membership probability for the stars will be available to the astronomical community.
