Construction of KAGRA: an Underground Gravitational Wave Observatory
Abstract: Major construction and initial-phase operation of a second-generation gravitational-wave detector KAGRA has been completed. The entire 3-km detector is installed underground in a mine in order to be isolated from background seismic vibrations on the surface. This allows us to achieve a good sensitivity at low frequencies and high stability of the detector. Bare-bones equipment for the interferomet… ▽ More

Probing Rotation of Core-collapse Supernova with Concurrent Analysis of Gravitational Waves and Neutrinos
Abstract: The next time a core-collapse supernova (SN) explodes in our galaxy, vari- ous detectors will be ready and waiting to detect its emissions of gravitational waves (GWs) and neutrinos. Current numerical simulations have successfully introduced multi-dimensional effects to produce exploding SN models, but thus far the explosion mechanism is not well understood. In this paper, we focus on an investiga… ▽ More

Partially Composite Dark Matter
Abstract: In a class of theories where the Higgs field emerges as a pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson, it is often assumed that interactions to generate the top Yukawa coupling provide the Higgs potential as well. Such a scenario generically requires a little cancellation in the leading contribution to the Higgs potential, and the electroweak scale is generated by the balance between the leading and the subleadi… ▽ More

Composite Higgsino
Abstract: Several supersymmetric models in which there is a (partially) composite Higgs boson arising from (coupled to) a strong sector have been proposed. Such strong dynamics would help to cause the electroweak symmetry breaking naturally. In this paper, we focus on the compositeness of the Higgsinos in such models. We show that such a Higgsino compositeness can induce the characteristic decay branching f… ▽ More

The 130 GeV gamma-ray line and generic dark matter model building constraints from continuum gamma rays, radio and antiproton data
Abstract: An analysis of the Fermi gamma ray space telescope data has recently revealed a resolved gamma-ray feature close to the galactic center which is consistent with monochromatic photons at an energy of about 130 GeV. If interpreted in terms of dark matter (DM) annihilating into γγ(γZ, γh), this would correspond to a DM particle mass of roughly 130 GeV (145 GeV, 155 GeV). The rate for these loop-suppr… ▽ More

Indirect dark matter searches as a probe of degenerate particle spectra
Abstract: We consider the possibility that the cosmological dark matter consists of particles very close in mass to new colored particles below the TeV scale. While such a scenario is inherently difficult to directly confirm at colliders, we find that indirect dark matter searches may be a powerful alternative. In particular, we show that in this case dark matter annihilation to quark-quark-gluon final stat… ▽ More

CDMS II result and Light Higgs Boson Scenario of the MSSM
Abstract: The CDMS Collaboration has reported two candidate events for dark matter. If the events are due to the elastic scattering of dark matter, the dark matter would be a WIMP dark matter with its mass of the order of 10-100GeV and its scattering cross section with a nucleon is about 10^-43cm^2. We show that such a dark matter is properly realized as a neutralino dark matter in the light higgs boson sce… ▽ More

Precision Measurements of Little Higgs Parameters at the International Linear Collider
Abstract: We investigate a possibility of precision measurements for parameters of the Littlest Higgs model with T-parity at the International Linear Collider (ILC). The model predicts new gauge bosons (AH, ZH, and WH), among which the heavy photon (AH) is a candidate for dark matter. The masses of these new gauge bosons strongly depend on the vacuum expectation value that breaks a global symmetry of the… ▽ More

D-term assisted Anomaly Mediation in E6 motivated models
Abstract: We investigate effects of D-term contributions to the anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking scenario. If we introduce an E6 GUT motivated D-term, it is possible that slepton mass squared is positive at weak scale even if there are no other D-term contributions. Moreover, as a consequence of additional D-term contributions to scalar masses, we obtain various soft supersymmetry breaking mass spe… ▽ More
