Particularly, we derive sharp estimates for borderline cases where $f \in L^n(Ω)$ and $f\in p-\textrm{BMO}(Ω)$. Additionally, for source terms in $L^p(Ω)$, for $p \in (n, \infty)$, we obtain sharp gradient estimates. Finally, we also address Schauder-type estimates for convex/concave operators and suitable Hölder data.

In this work, we present the studies carried out for the production of the monopolium at the LHC in ultraperipheral collisions for the processes $pp$ and $PbPb$. The monopolium is described by the bound state of a monopole-antimonopole pair, and we assume the study of the monopole in this characteristic state because the coupling constant is very large, which allows us to suggest that this exotic particle can be produced in the bound state. The monopolium is defined by a wave function arising from the numerical solution of the Schrödinger equation for the modified Cornell potential. We used the photon fusion production mechanism, with the Weizsäcker-Williams and Drees-Zeppenfeld expressions to describe the lead and proton equivalent photon distributions. We estimate a high production rate of monopolium production for $pp$ collisions with $\sqrt{s}=14$ TeV and $PbPb$ collisions with $\sqrt{s}=5.5$ TeV in LHC.

We analyze three different scenarios depending on exponent $q$. For this, we combine variational methods with some topological techniques, such as the Krasnoselskii genus and the Lusternik-Schnirelman category theories.

The main goal of this brief report is to provide some new insight into how promising the Schroedinger-Newton equation would be to explain the emergence of classicality. Based on the similarity of the Newton and Coulomb potentials, we add an electric self-interacting term to the Schroedinger-Newton equation for the hydrogen atom. Our results rule out the possibility that single electrons self-interact through their electromagnetic field. Next, we use the hydrogen atom to get insight into the intrinsic difficulty of testing the Schroedinger-Newton equation itself and conclude that the Planck scale must be approached before sound constraints are established. Although our results cannot be used to rule out the Schroedinger-Newton equation at all, they might be seen as disfavoring it if we underpin on the resemblance between the gravitational and electromagnetic interactions at low energies.

In this work we derive global estimates for viscosity solutions to fully nonlinear elliptic equations under relaxed structural assumptions on the governing operator which are weaker than convexity and oblique boundary conditions and under suitable assumptions on the dat. Our approach makes use of geometric tangential methods, which consists of importing "fine regularity estimates" from a limiting profile, i.e., the Recession operator, associated with the original second order one via compactness and stability procedures. As a result, we devote a special attention to the borderline scenario. In such a setting, we prove that solutions enjoy BMO type estimates for their second derivatives. In the end, as another application of our findings, we obtain Hessian estimates to obstacle type problems under oblique boundary conditions and no convexity assumptions, which may have their own mathematical interest. A density result in a suitable class of viscosity solutions will be also addressed.

The Android mining sandbox approach consists in running dynamic analysis tools on a benign version of an Android app and recording every call to sensitive APIs. Later, one can use this information to (a) prevent calls to other sensitive APIs (those not previously recorded) or (b) run the dynamic analysis tools again in a different version of the app -- in order to identify possible malicious behavior. Although the use of dynamic analysis for mining Android sandboxes has been empirically investigated before, little is known about the potential benefits of combining static analysis with the mining sandbox approach for identifying malicious behavior. As such, in this paper we present the results of two empirical studies: The first is a non-exact replication of a previous research work from Bao et al., which compares the performance of test case generation tools for mining Android sandboxes. The second is a new experiment to investigate the implications of using taint analysis algorithms to complement the mining sandbox approach in the task to identify malicious behavior. Our study brings several findings. For instance, the first study reveals that a static analysis component of DroidFax (a tool used for instrumenting Android apps in the Bao et al. study) contributes substantially to the performance of the dynamic analysis tools explored in the previous work. The results of the second study show that taint analysis is also practical to complement the mining sandboxes approach, improve the performance of the later strategy in at most 28.57%.

By way of brief elucidating example, such non-linear problems in force appear in the mathematical theory of combustion, as well as in the study of some flame propagation problems. In such an environment we prove that solutions are Lipschitz continuous and they fulfil a non-degeneracy property. We develop an optimal regularity theory for $L^p$-viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear uniformly elliptic equations in nondivergence form whose gradient growth is described through a Hamiltonian function with measurable and possibly unbounded coefficients. Our approach treats both superlinear and sublinear gradient regimes in a unified way.
We show $C^{0,α}$, $C^{0,\textrm{Log-Lip}}$, $C^{1,α}$, $ C^{1,\textrm{Log-Lip}}$ and $C^{2,α}$ regularity estimates, by displaying the growth allowed to the Hamiltonian in order to deal with an unbounded nonlinear gradient coefficient, whose integrability in turn gets worse as we approach the quadratic regime.
Moreover, we find proper compatibility conditions for which our regularity results depend intrinsically on the integrability of the underlying source term. As a byproduct of our methods, we prove a priori BMO estimates; sharp regularity to associated recession and flat profiles under relaxed convexity assumptions; improved regularity for a class of singular PDEs; and a Perron type result under unbounded ingredients.

In this manuscript we deal with existence/uniqueness and regularity issues of suitable weak solutions to nonlocal problems driven by fractional Laplace type operators. Different from previous researches, in our approach we consider gradient non-linearity sources with subcritical growth, as well as appropriated measures as sources and boundary datum. We provide an in-depth discussion on the notions of solutions involved together with existence/uniqueness results in different regimes and for different boundary value problems. Finally, this work extends previous ones by dealing with more general nonlocal operators, source terms and boundary data.

We study the obstacle problem for fully nonlinear elliptic operators with an anisotropic degeneracy on the gradient:
\[

In particular, for the homogeneous case ($f\equiv0$) we get that solutions are $C^{1,1}$ at free boundary points, in the sense that they detach from the obstacle in a quadratic fashion, thus beating the optimal regularity allowed for such degenerate operators. We also present further features of the solutions and partial results regarding the free boundary.
These are the first results for obstacle problems driven by degenerate type operators in non-divergence form and they are a novelty even for the simpler scenario given by an operator of the form $\mathcal{G}[u] = |Du|^γΔu$.

In this manuscript we study the following optimization problem: given a bounded and regular domain $Ω\subset \mathbb{R}^N$ we look for an optimal shape for the "$\mathrm{W}-$vanishing window" on the boundary with prescribed measure over all admissible profiles in the framework of the Orlicz-Sobolev spaces associated to constant for the "Sobolev trace embedding". In this direction, we establish existence of minimizer profiles and optimal sets, as well as we obtain further properties for such extremals. Finally, we also place special emphasis on analyzing the corresponding optimization problem involving an "$\mathrm{A}-$vanishing hole" (inside the domain) with volume constraint.

\left(Ω\right), \text{ and }

\] Here $g$ is acontinuous function and $α$ is a fixed constant such that $0< α< |Ω|$. Under the assumption that $\displaystyle \int_{\partial Ω} g(x)dS >0$ we prove that a minimizer exists and satisfies
$$
\left\{
\begin{array}{ccl}
-Δ_p u_p = 0 &\text{in }
&\{u_p>0\} \cup \{u_p<0\}, \\[5pt]

\cap\partial(\{u_p>0\} \cup \{u_p<0\} ) ,\\[5pt]
|\{u_p>0\}| = α. & &
\end{array}
\right.
$$
Next, we analyze the limit as $p\to \infty$. We obtain that any sequence of weak solutions converges, up to a subsequence, $\lim\limits_{p_j \to \infty} u_{p_j}(x)=u_{\infty}(x)$, uniformly in $\overlineΩ$, and uniform limits, $u_\infty$, are solutions to the maximization problem with volume constraint
$$
\max\left\{ \int_{\partial Ω} gv\,dS \colon v \in W^{1, \infty}
\left(Ω\right), \|\nabla v\|_{L^{\infty}(Ω)}\leq 1
\text{ and }|\{v>0\}| \leq α\right\}.
$$
Furthermore, we obtain the limit equation that is verified by $u_\infty$ in the viscosity sense. Finally, it turns out that such a limit variational problem is connected to the Monge-Kantorovich mass transfer problem with the involved measures are supported on $\partial Ω$ and along the limiting free boundary, $\partial \{u_{\infty} \neq 0\}$.

First, we prove the convergence as $p\to \infty$ of any family of solutions $(u_p)_{p\geq 2}$, as well as we obtain the corresponding limit operator (in non-divergence form) ruling the limit equation, $$ \left\{ \begin{array}{rcrcl} \max\left\{-Δ_{\infty} u_{\infty}, \,\, -|\nabla u_{\infty}| + χ_{\{u_{\infty}>0\}}\right\} & = & 0 & \text{in} & Ω\cap \{u_{\infty} \geq 0\} \\ u_{\infty} & = & g & \text{on} & \partial Ω. \end{array} \right. $$ Next, we obtain uniqueness for solutions to this limit problem together with a number of weak geometric and measure theoretical properties as non-degeneracy, uniform positive density, porosity and convergence of the free boundaries. Finally, we show that any solution to the limit operator is a limit of value functions for a specific Tug-of-War game.

Our main result states that $Ω$ is uniformly close to a ball when it has first Neumann and Dirichlet eigenvalues close to the ones for the ball of the same volume $\mathfrak{B}_r$. In fact, we show that, if $$
|λ_{1,\infty}^D(Ω) - λ_{1,\infty}^D(\mathfrak{B}_r)| = δ_1 \quad \text{and} \quad |λ_{1,\infty}^N(Ω) - λ_{1,\infty}^N(\mathfrak{B}_r)| = δ_2, $$ then there are two balls such that $$\mathfrak{B}_{\frac{r}{δ_1 r+1}} \subset Ω\subset \mathfrak{B}_{\frac{r+δ_2 r}{1-δ_2 r}}.$$ In addition, we also obtain a result concerning stability of the Dirichlet $\infty-$eigen-functions.

The quantity $κ(n, p, q):=\frac{n}{p}+\frac{2}{q}$ determines to which regularity regime a solution of \eqref{Meq} belongs. We prove that when $1< κ(n,p,q) < 2-ε_F$, solutions are parabolic-Hölder continuous for a sharp, quantitative exponent $0< α(n,p,q) < 1$. Precisely at the critical borderline case, $κ(n,p,q)= 1$, we obtain sharp Log-Lipschitz regularity estimates. When $0< κ(n,p,q) <1$, solutions are locally of class $C^{1+ σ, \frac{1+ σ}{2}}$ and in the limiting case $κ(n,p,q) = 0$, we show $C^{1, \text{Log-Lip}}$ regularity estimates provided $F$ has "better" \textit{a priori} estimates.
