These results are consistent with the previous measurements by BESIII, LHCb and Belle, and the result of $Λ_{c}^{+}\to pη$ is the most precise to date.

We study the process $e^{+}e^{-}\toΛ_{c}^{+}\barΛ_c^{-}$ at twelve center-of-mass energies from $4.6119$ to $4.9509~\mathrm{GeV}$ using data samples collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross sections and effective form factors ($|G_{\mathrm{eff}}|$) are determined with unprecedented precision after combining the single and double-tag methods based on the decay process $Λ_{c}^{+}\to pK^{-}π^{+}$. Flat cross sections around $4.63~\mathrm{GeV}$ are obtained and no indication of the resonant structure $Y(4630)$, as reported by Belle, is found. In addition, no oscillatory behavior is discerned in the $|G_{\mathrm{eff}}|$ energy-dependence of $Λ_{c}^{+}$, in contrast to what is seen for the proton and neutron cases. Analyzing the cross section together with the polar-angle distribution of the $Λ_{c}^{+}$ baryon at each energy point, the moduli of electric and magnetic form factors ($|G_{E}|$ and $|G_{M}|$) are extracted and separated. For the first time, the energy-dependence of the form factor ratio $|G_{E}/G_{M}|$ is observed, which can be well described by an oscillatory function.

Conventional vapor deposition or epitaxial growth of two-dimensional (2D) materials and heterostructures is conducted in a large chamber in which masses transport from the source to the substrate. Here we report a chamber-free, on-chip approach for growing a 2D crystalline structures directly in a nanoscale surface-confined 2D space. The method is based on a surprising discovery of a rapid, long-distance, non-Fickian transport of a uniform layer of atomically thin palladium (Pd) on a monolayer crystal of tungsten ditelluride (WTe2), at temperatures well below the known melting points of all materials involved. The resulting nanoconfined growth realizes a controlled formation of a stable new 2D crystalline material, Pd7WTe2 , when the monolayer seed is either free-standing or fully encapsulated in a van der Waals stack. The approach is generalizable and highly compatible with nanodevice fabrication, promising to expand the library of 2D materials and their functionalities.

In this article, the strong coupling constants of vertices $BBΥ$, $BB^{*}Υ$, $B^{*}B^{*}Υ$, $BB^{*}η_{b}$ and $B^{*}B^{*}η_{b}$ are analyzed in the framework of QCD sum rules. In this work, all possible off-shell cases and the contributions of vacuum condensate terms including $\langle\overline{q}q\rangle$, $\langle\overline{q}g_{s}σGq\rangle$, $\langle g_{s}^{2}G^{2}\rangle$, $\langle f^{3}G^{3}\rangle$ and $\langle\overline{q}q\rangle\langle g_{s}^{2}G^{2}\rangle$ are considered. The momentum dependent strong coupling constants are first calculated and then are fitted into analytical functions $g(Q^{2})$ which are used to extrapolate into time-like regions to obtain the final values of strong coupling constants. The final results are $g_{BBΥ}=40.67^{+7.55}_{-4.20}$, $g_{BB^{*}Υ}=11.58^{+2.19}_{-1.09}$ GeV$^{-1}$, $g_{B^{*}B^{*}Υ}=57.02^{+5.32}_{-5.31}$, $g_{BB^{*}η_{b}}=23.39^{+4.74}_{-2.30}$ and $g_{B^{*}B^{*}η_{b}}=12.49^{+2.12}_{-1.35}$ GeV$^{-1}$. These strong coupling constants are important input parameters which reflect the dynamic properties of the interactions among the mesons and quarkonia.

Combining with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(D^+_s\to φe^+ν_e)$, the ratio of the branching fractions obtained is$\frac{{\mathcal B}(D^+_s\to φμ^+ν_μ)}{{\mathcal B}(D^+_s\to φe^+ν_e)} = 0.94\pm0.08$, in agreement with lepton universality. By performing a partial wave analysis, the hadronic form factor ratios at $q^{2}=0$ are extracted, finding $r_{V}=\frac{V(0)}{A_{1}(0)}=1.58\pm0.17\pm0.02$ and $r_{2}=\frac{A_{2}(0)}{A_{1}(0)}=0.71\pm0.14\pm0.02$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. No significant $S$-wave contribution from $f_0(980)\to K^+K^-$ is found. The upper limit $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+\to f_0(980)μ^{+}ν_μ) \cdot{\mathcal B}(f_0(980)\to K^+K^-) < 5.45 \times 10^{-4}$ is set at 90\% confidence level.

We present a novel alignment-before-generation approach to tackle the challenging task of generating general 3D shapes based on 2D images or texts. Directly learning a conditional generative model from images or texts to 3D shapes is prone to producing inconsistent results with the conditions because 3D shapes have an additional dimension whose distribution significantly differs from that of 2D images and texts. To bridge the domain gap among the three modalities and facilitate multi-modal-conditioned 3D shape generation, we explore representing 3D shapes in a shape-image-text-aligned space. Our framework comprises two models: a Shape-Image-Text-Aligned Variational Auto-Encoder (SITA-VAE) and a conditional Aligned Shape Latent Diffusion Model (ASLDM). The former model encodes the 3D shapes into the shape latent space aligned to the image and text and reconstructs the fine-grained 3D neural fields corresponding to given shape embeddings via the transformer-based decoder. The latter model learns a probabilistic map** function from the image or text space to the latent shape space. Our extensive experiments demonstrate that our proposed approach can generate higher-quality and more diverse 3D shapes that better semantically conform to the visual or textural conditional inputs, validating the effectiveness of the shape-image-text-aligned space for cross-modality 3D shape generation.

In existing semantic communication systems for image transmission, some images are generally reconstructed with considerably low quality. As a result, the reliable transmission of each image cannot be guaranteed, bringing significant uncertainty to semantic communication systems. To address this issue, we propose a novel performance metric to characterize the reliability of semantic communication systems termed semantic distortion outage probability (SDOP), which is defined as the probability of the instantaneous distortion larger than a given target threshold. Then, since the images with lower reconstruction quality are generally less robust and need to be allocated with more communication resources, we propose a novel framework of Semantic Communication with Adaptive chaNnel feedback (SCAN). It can reduce SDOP by adaptively adjusting the overhead of channel feedback for images with different reconstruction qualities, thereby enhancing transmission reliability. To realize SCAN, we first develop a deep learning-enabled semantic communication system for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels (DeepSC-MIMO) by leveraging the channel state information (CSI) and noise variance in the model design. We then develop a performance evaluator to predict the reconstruction quality of each image at the transmitter by distilling knowledge from DeepSC-MIMO. In this way, images with lower predicted reconstruction quality will be allocated with a longer CSI codeword to guarantee the reconstruction quality. We perform extensive experiments to demonstrate that the proposed scheme can significantly improve the reliability of image transmission while greatly reducing the feedback overhead.

Though the advancement of pre-trained large language models unfolds, the exploration of building a unified model for language and other multi-modal data, such as motion, remains challenging and untouched so far. Fortunately, human motion displays a semantic coupling akin to human language, often perceived as a form of body language. By fusing language data with large-scale motion models, motion-language pre-training that can enhance the performance of motion-related tasks becomes feasible. Driven by this insight, we propose MotionGPT, a unified, versatile, and user-friendly motion-language model to handle multiple motion-relevant tasks. Specifically, we employ the discrete vector quantization for human motion and transfer 3D motion into motion tokens, similar to the generation process of word tokens. Building upon this "motion vocabulary", we perform language modeling on both motion and text in a unified manner, treating human motion as a specific language. Moreover, inspired by prompt learning, we pre-train MotionGPT with a mixture of motion-language data and fine-tune it on prompt-based question-and-answer tasks. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MotionGPT achieves state-of-the-art performances on multiple motion tasks including text-driven motion generation, motion captioning, motion prediction, and motion in-between.

With the great success of deep learning (DL) in image classification, speech recognition, and other fields, more and more studies have applied various neural networks (NNs) to wireless resource allocation. Generally speaking, these artificial intelligent (AI) models are trained under some special learning hypotheses, especially that the statistics of the training data are static during the training stage. However, the distribution of channel state information (CSI) is constantly changing in the real-world wireless communication environment. Therefore, it is essential to study effective dynamic DL technologies to solve wireless resource allocation problems. In this paper, we propose a novel framework, named meta-gating, for solving resource allocation problems in an episodically dynamic wireless environment, where the CSI distribution changes over periods and remains constant within each period. The proposed framework, consisting of an inner network and an outer network, aims to adapt to the dynamic wireless environment by achieving three important goals, i.e., seamlessness, quickness and continuity. Specifically, for the former two goals, we propose a training method by combining a model-agnostic meta-learning (MAML) algorithm with an unsupervised learning mechanism. With this training method, the inner network is able to fast adapt to different channel distributions because of the good initialization. As for the goal of continuity, the outer network can learn to evaluate the importance of inner network's parameters under different CSI distributions, and then decide which subset of the inner network should be activated through the gating operation. Additionally, we theoretically analyze the performance of the proposed meta-gating framework.

With large-scale Monte Carlo simulations, we investigate the nonsteady relaxation at the dynamic depinning transition in the two-dimensional Gaussian random-field Ising model. The dynamic scaling behavior is carefully analyzed, and the transition fields as well as static and dynamic exponents are accurately determined based on the short-time dynamic scaling form. Different from the usual assumption, two distinguished growth processes of spatial correlation lengths for the velocity and height of the domain wall are found. Thus, the universality class of the depinning transition is established, which significantly differs from that of the quenched disorder equation but agrees with that of the recent experiment as well as other simulations works. Under the influence of the mesoscopic time regime, the crossover from the second-order phase transition to the first-order one is confirmed in the weak-disorder regime, yielding an abnormal disorder-dependent nature of the criticality.

In this paper, among all $k$-uniform ($k\geq 3$) supertrees with fixed number of vertices, the supertrees with the maximum, the second maximum and the minimum spectral radius are completely determined, respectively.

Click-through rate (CTR) prediction aims to predict the probability that the user will click an item, which has been one of the key tasks in online recommender and advertising systems. In such systems, rich user behavior (viz. long- and short-term) has been proved to be of great value in capturing user interests. Both industry and academy have paid much attention to this topic and propose different approaches to modeling with long-term and short-term user behavior data. But there are still some unresolved issues. More specially, (1) rule and truncation based methods to extract information from long-term behavior are easy to cause information loss, and (2) single feedback behavior regardless of scenario to extract information from short-term behavior lead to information confusion and noise. To fill this gap, we propose a Graph based Long-term and Short-term interest Model, termed GLSM. It consists of a multi-interest graph structure for capturing long-term user behavior, a multi-scenario heterogeneous sequence model for modeling short-term information, then an adaptive fusion mechanism to fused information from long-term and short-term behaviors. Comprehensive experiments on real-world datasets, GLSM achieved SOTA score on offline metrics. At the same time, the GLSM algorithm has been deployed in our industrial application, bringing 4.9% CTR and 4.3% GMV lift, which is significant to the business.

Precision measurements of the semileptonic decays $D_s^+ \to ηe^+ ν_e$ and $D_s^+ \to η^\prime e^+ ν_e$ are performed with 7.33\,fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV with the BESIII detector. The branching fractions obtained are $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to ηe^{+} ν_e)$ = $(2.255\pm0.039_{\rm stat}\pm 0.051_{\rm syst})\%$ and $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to η^{\prime} e^{+} ν_e)$ = $(0.810\pm0.038_{\rm stat}\pm 0.024_{\rm syst})\%$. Combining these results with the $\mathcal{B}(D^+\toηe^+ ν_e)$ and $\mathcal{B}(D^+\toη^\prime e^+ ν_e)$ obtained from previous BESIII measurements, the $η-η^\prime$ mixing angle in the quark flavor basis is determined to be $φ_{\rm P} = (40.0\pm2.0_{\rm stat}\pm0.6_{\rm syst})^\circ$. Moreover, from the fits to the partial decay rates of $D_s^+ \to ηe^+ ν_e$ and $D_s^+ \to η^\prime e^+ ν_e$, the products of the hadronic transition form factors $f_+^{η^{(\prime)}}(0)$ and the modulus of the $c\to s$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ are determined by using different hadronic transition form factor parametrizations. Based on the two-parameter series expansion, the products $f^η_+(0)|V_{cs}| = 0.4519\pm0.0071_{\rm stat}\pm0.0065_{\rm syst}$ and $f^{η^\prime}_+(0)|V_{cs}| = 0.525\pm0.024_{\rm stat}\pm0.009_{\rm syst}$ are extracted. All results determined in this work supersede those measured in the previous BESIII analyses based on the 3.19 fb$^{-1}$ subsample of data at 4.178 GeV.

Stochastic p-Bit devices play a pivotal role in solving NP-hard problems, neural network computing, and hardware accelerators for algorithms such as the simulated annealing. In this work, we focus on Stochastic p-Bits based on high-barrier magnetic tunnel junctions (HB-MTJs) with identical stack structure and cell geometry, but employing different spin-orbit torque (SOT) switching schemes. We conducted a comparative study of their switching probability as a function of pulse amplitude and width of the applied voltage. Through experimental and theoretical investigations, we have observed that the Y-type SOT-MTJs exhibit the gentlest dependence of the switching probability on the external voltage. This characteristic indicates superior tunability in randomness and enhanced robustness against external disturbances when Y-type SOT-MTJs are employed as stochastic p-Bits. Furthermore, the random numbers generated by these Y-type SOT-MTJs, following XOR pretreatment, have successfully passed the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP800-22 test. This comprehensive study demonstrates the high performance and immense potential of Y-type SOT-MTJs for the implementation of stochastic p-Bits.

Recently, deep learning-based facial landmark detection has achieved significant improvement. However, the semantic ambiguity problem degrades detection performance. Specifically, the semantic ambiguity causes inconsistent annotation and negatively affects the model's convergence, leading to worse accuracy and instability prediction. To solve this problem, we propose a Self-adapTive Ambiguity Reduction (STAR) loss by exploiting the properties of semantic ambiguity. We find that semantic ambiguity results in the anisotropic predicted distribution, which inspires us to use predicted distribution to represent semantic ambiguity. Based on this, we design the STAR loss that measures the anisotropism of the predicted distribution. Compared with the standard regression loss, STAR loss is encouraged to be small when the predicted distribution is anisotropic and thus adaptively mitigates the impact of semantic ambiguity. Moreover, we propose two kinds of eigenvalue restriction methods that could avoid both distribution's abnormal change and the model's premature convergence. Finally, the comprehensive experiments demonstrate that STAR loss outperforms the state-of-the-art methods on three benchmarks, i.e., COFW, 300W, and WFLW, with negligible computation overhead. Code is at https://github.com/ZhenglinZhou/STAR.

Tests of lepton flavor universality using $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λ\ell^+ν_{\ell}$ ($\ell=e, μ$) decays are reported for the first time, based on measurements of the differential decay rates and the forward-backward asymmetries in separate four-momentum transfer regions. The results are compatible with Standard Model predictions. Furthermore, we improve the determination of the form-factor parameters in $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λ\ell^+ν_{\ell}$ decays, which provide stringent tests and calibration for lattice quantum chromodynamics (LQCD) calculations.

Time-frequency analysis (TFA) techniques play an important role in the field of machine fault diagnosis attributing to their superiority in dealing with nonstationary signals. Synchroextracting transform (SET) and transient-extracting transform (TET) are two newly emerging techniques that can produce energy concentrated representation for nonstationary signals. However, SET and TET are only suitable for processing harmonic signals and impulsive signals, respectively. This poses a challenge for each of these two techniques when a signal contains both harmonic and impulsive components. In this paper, we propose a new TFA technique to solve this problem. The technique first divides time-frequency (TF) coefficients into two types according to the chirp rate of the signal, and then TF ridges are respectively extracted to prevent the limitation for the independent use of SET and TET. This allows the technique to generate an energy-concentrated TF representation for both harmonics and impulses in the signal. Furthermore, we theoretically demonstrate that the proposed technique retains the signal reconstruction capability. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is verified using numerical and real-world signals.

We search for energetic electron recoil signals induced by boosted dark matter (BDM) from the galactic center using the COSINE-100 array of NaI(Tl) crystal detectors at the Yangyang Underground Laboratory. The signal would be an excess of events with energies above 4 MeV over the well-understood background. Because no excess of events are observed in a 97.7 kg$\cdot$years exposure, we set limits on BDM interactions under a variety of hypotheses. Notably, we explored the dark photon parameter space, leading to competitive limits compared to direct dark photon search experiments, particularly for dark photon masses below 4\,MeV and considering the invisible decay mode. Furthermore, by comparing our results with a previous BDM search conducted by the Super-Kamionkande experiment, we found that the COSINE-100 detector has advantages in searching for low-mass dark matter. This analysis demonstrates the potential of the COSINE-100 detector to search for MeV electron recoil signals produced by the dark sector particle interactions.

This paper presents Structure Aware Dense Retrieval (SANTA) model, which encodes user queries and structured data in one universal embedding space for retrieving structured data. SANTA proposes two pretraining methods to make language models structure-aware and learn effective representations for structured data: 1) Structured Data Alignment, which utilizes the natural alignment relations between structured data and unstructured data for structure-aware pretraining. It contrastively trains language models to represent multi-modal text data and teaches models to distinguish matched structured data for unstructured texts. 2) Masked Entity Prediction, which designs an entity-oriented mask strategy and asks language models to fill in the masked entities. Our experiments show that SANTA achieves state-of-the-art on code search and product search and conducts convincing results in the zero-shot setting. SANTA learns tailored representations for multi-modal text data by aligning structured and unstructured data pairs and capturing structural semantics by masking and predicting entities in the structured data. The recent advancements in image-text diffusion models have stimulated research interest in large-scale 3D generative models. Nevertheless, the limited availability of diverse 3D resources presents significant challenges to learning. In this paper, we present a novel method for generating high-quality, stylized 3D avatars that utilizes pre-trained image-text diffusion models for data generation and a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN)-based 3D generation network for training. Our method leverages the comprehensive priors of appearance and geometry offered by image-text diffusion models to generate multi-view images of avatars in various styles. During data generation, we employ poses extracted from existing 3D models to guide the generation of multi-view images. To address the misalignment between poses and images in data, we investigate view-specific prompts and develop a coarse-to-fine discriminator for GAN training. We also delve into attribute-related prompts to increase the diversity of the generated avatars. Additionally, we develop a latent diffusion model within the style space of StyleGAN to enable the generation of avatars based on image inputs. Our approach demonstrates superior performance over current state-of-the-art methods in terms of visual quality and diversity of the produced avatars.

One anisotropy originates from the Fe/InAs interface while the other originates from in-plane shear strain resulting from the anisotropic relaxation of the Fe film. X-ray diffraction was used to measure the in-plane lattice constants of the Fe films, confirming the correlation between the onset of film relaxation and the corresponding shear strain inferred from ferromagnetic resonance data. These results are relevant for ongoing efforts to develop spintronic and quantum devices utilizing large spin-orbit coupling in III-V semiconductors.

Hocquard, Kim, and Pierron constructed, for every even integer $D\ge 2$, a 2-degenerate graph $G_D$ with maximum degree $D$ such that $ω(G_D^2)=\frac52D$. We prove for (a) all 2-degenerate graphs $G$ and (b) all graphs $G$ with $\mbox{mad}(G)<4$, upper bounds on the clique number $ω(G^2)$ of $G^2$ that match the lower bound given by this construction, up to small additive constants. We show that if $G$ is 2-degenerate with maximum degree $D$, then $ω(G^2)\le \frac52D+72$ (with $ω(G^2)\le \frac52D+60$ when $D$ is sufficiently large). And if $G$ has $\mbox{mad}(G)<4$ and maximum degree $D$, then $ω(G^2)\le \frac52D+532$. Thus, the construction of Hocquard et al. is essentially best possible. Our proofs introduce a "token passing" technique to derive crucial information about non-adjacencies in $G$ of vertices that are adjacent in $G^2$. This is a powerful technique for working with such graphs that has not previously appeared in the literature.

Recently, the ever-increasing demand for bandwidth in multi-modal communication systems requires a paradigm shift. Powered by deep learning, semantic communications are applied to multi-modal scenarios to boost communication efficiency and save communication resources. However, the existing end-to-end neural network (NN) based framework without the channel encoder/decoder is incompatible with modern digital communication systems. Moreover, most end-to-end designs are task-specific and require re-design and re-training for new tasks, which limits their applications. In this paper, we propose a distributed multi-modal semantic communication framework incorporating the conventional channel encoder/decoder. We adopt NN-based semantic encoder and decoder to extract correlated semantic information contained in different modalities, including speech, text, and image. Based on the proposed framework, we further establish a general rate-adaptive coding mechanism for various types of multi-modal semantic tasks. In particular, we utilize unequal error protection based on semantic importance, which is derived by evaluating the distortion bound of each modality. We further formulate and solve an optimization problem that aims at minimizing inference delay while maintaining inference accuracy for semantic tasks. Numerical results show that the proposed mechanism fares better than both conventional communication and existing semantic communication systems in terms of task performance, inference delay, and deployment complexity.

From these measurements, precise $CP$ symmetry tests in $Ξ^0$ decay are performed, and $A^Ξ_{CP} = (-5.4 \pm 6.5 \pm 3.1) \times 10^{-3}$ and $Δφ^Ξ_{CP} = (-0.1 \pm 6.9 \pm 0.9) \times 10^{-3}$~rad are consistent with $CP$ conservation. The sequential decay also enables a separation of weak and strong phase differences, which are found for the first time to be $ξ_{P}-ξ_{S} = (0.0 \pm 1.7 \pm 0.2) \times 10^{-2}$~rad and $δ_{P}-δ_{S} = (-1.3 \pm 1.7 \pm 0.4)\times 10^{-2}$~rad, respectively. The stringent performance requirements of future wireless networks, such as ultra-high data rates, extremely high reliability and low latency, are spurring worldwide studies on defining the next-generation multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transceivers. For the design of advanced transceivers in wireless communications, optimization approaches often leading to iterative algorithms have achieved great success for MIMO transceivers. However, these algorithms generally require a large number of iterations to converge, which entails considerable computational complexity and often requires fine-tuning of various parameters. With the development of deep learning, approximating the iterative algorithms with deep neural networks (DNNs) can significantly reduce the computational time. However, DNNs typically lead to black-box solvers, which requires amounts of data and extensive training time. To further overcome these challenges, deep-unfolding has emerged which incorporates the benefits of both deep learning and iterative algorithms, by unfolding the iterative algorithm into a layer-wise structure analogous to DNNs. In this article, we first go through the framework of deep-unfolding for transceiver design with matrix parameters and its recent advancements. Then, some endeavors in applying deep-unfolding approaches in next-generation advanced transceiver design are presented. Moreover, some open issues for future research are highlighted.

The T-product method based upon Discrete Fourier Transformation (DFT) has found wide applications in engineering, in particular, in image processing. In this paper, we propose variable T-product, and apply the Zero-Padding Discrete Fourier Transformation (ZDFT), to convert third order tensor problems to the variable Fourier domain. An additional positive integer parameter is introduced, which is greater than the tubal dimension of the third order tensor. When the additional parameter is equal to the tubal dimension, the ZDFT reduces to DFT. Then, we propose a new tensor completion method based on ZDFT and TV regularization, called VTCTF-TV. Extensive numerical experiment results on visual data demonstrate that the superior performance of the proposed method. In addition, the zero-padding is near the size of the original tubal dimension, the resulting tensor completion can be performed much better.

The Orbital Hall effect, which originates from materials with weak spin-orbit coupling, has attracted considerable interest for spin-orbitronic applications. Here, we demonstrate the inverse effect of the orbital Hall effect and observe orbitronic terahertz emission in the Ti and Mn materials. Through spin-orbit transition in the ferromagnetic layer, the generated orbital current can be converted to charge current in the Ti and Mn layers via the inverse orbital Hall effect. Furthermore, the inserted W layer provides an additional conversion of the orbital-charge current in the Ti and Mn layers, significantly enhancing the orbitronic terahertz emission. Moreover, the orbitronic terahertz emission can be manipulated by cooperating with the inverse orbital Hall effect and the inverse spin Hall effect in the different sample configurations. Our results not only discover the physical mechanism of condensed matter physics but also pave the way for designing promising spin-orbitronic devices and terahertz emitters.

Contrary to topological insulators, topological semimetals possess a nontrivial chiral anomaly that leads to negative magnetoresistance and are hosts to both conductive bulk states and topological surface states with intriguing transport properties for spintronics. Here, we fabricate highly-ordered metallic Pt3Sn and Pt3SnxFe1-x thin films via sputtering technology. Systematic angular dependence (both in-plane and out-of-plane) study of magnetoresistance presents surprisingly robust quadratic and linear negative longitudinal magnetoresistance features for Pt3Sn and Pt3SnxFe1-x, respectively. We attribute the anomalous negative longitudinal magnetoresistance to the type-II Dirac semimetal phase (pristine Pt3Sn) and/or the formation of tunable Weyl semimetal phases through symmetry breaking processes, such as magnetic-atom do**, as confirmed by first-principles calculations. Furthermore, Pt3Sn and Pt3SnxFe1-x show the promising performance for facilitating the development of advanced spin-orbit torque devices. These results extend our understanding of chiral anomaly of topological semimetals and can pave the way for exploring novel topological materials for spintronic devices.

This survey comprehensively reviews Blockchained Federated Learning (BlockFL) that joins the benefits of both Blockchain and Federated Learning to provide a secure and efficient solution for the demand. We compare the existing BlockFL models in four Internet-of-Things (IoT) application scenarios: Personal IoT (PIoT), Industrial IoT (IIoT), Internet of Vehicles (IoV), and Internet of Health Things (IoHT), with a focus on security and privacy, trust and reliability, efficiency, and data heterogeneity. Our analysis shows that the features of decentralization and transparency make BlockFL a secure and effective solution for distributed model training, while the overhead and compatibility still need further study. It also reveals the unique challenges of each domain presents unique challenges, e.g., the requirement of accommodating dynamic environments in IoV and the high demands of identity and permission management in IoHT, in addition to some common challenges identified, such as privacy, resource constraints, and data heterogeneity. Location privacy is critical in vehicular networks, where drivers' trajectories and personal information can be exposed, allowing adversaries to launch data and physical attacks that threaten drivers' safety and personal security. This survey reviews comprehensively different localization techniques, including widely used ones like sensing infrastructure-based, optical vision-based, and cellular radio-based localization, and identifies inadequately addressed location privacy concerns. We classify Location Privacy Preserving Mechanisms (LPPMs) into user-side, server-side, and user-server-interface-based, and evaluate their effectiveness. Our analysis shows that the user-server-interface-based LPPMs have received insufficient attention in the literature, despite their paramount importance in vehicular networks. Further, we examine methods for balancing data utility and privacy protection for existing LPPMs in vehicular networks and highlight emerging challenges from future upper-layer location privacy attacks, wireless technologies, and network convergences. By providing insights into the relationship between localization techniques and location privacy, and evaluating the effectiveness of different LPPMs, this survey can help inform the development of future LPPMs in vehicular networks.

Although existing semantic communication systems have achieved great success, they have not considered that the channel is time-varying wherein deep fading occurs occasionally. Moreover, the importance of each semantic feature differs from each other. Consequently, the important features may be affected by channel fading and corrupted, resulting in performance degradation. Therefore, higher performance can be achieved by avoiding the transmission of important features when the channel state is poor. In this paper, we propose a scheme of Feature Arrangement for Semantic Transmission (FAST). In particular, we aim to schedule the transmission order of features and transmit important features when the channel state is good. To this end, we first propose a novel metric termed feature priority, which takes into consideration both feature importance and feature robustness. Then, we perform channel prediction at the transmitter side to obtain the future channel state information (CSI). Furthermore, the feature arrangement module is developed based on the proposed feature priority and the predicted CSI by transmitting the prior features under better CSI. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme significantly improves the performance of image transmission compared to existing semantic communication systems without feature arrangement.

The study of existence of hamiltonian cycles and factors in graphs in terms of toughness was initiated by Chvátal in 1973 and has been a popular topic since then. The study of Berge cycles and factor in hypergraphs has attracted quite a bit attention in recent years and much progress has been made in terms of conditions such as degrees. In this article, we propose to study toughness conditions for a hypergraph to have a Berge $k$-factor. Our main result is that every $k$-tough hypergraph $H$ has a Berge $k$-factor if $k\cdot |V(H)|$ is even and $|V(H)|\ge k+1$ for integer $k\ge 1$. This extends a similar result on graphs from 1985 by Enomoto, Jackson, Keterinis, and Saito.

In this work, the strong coupling constants of the vertices $DDJ/ψ$, $DD^{*}J/ψ$, $D^{*}D^{*}J/ψ$, $DD^{*}η_{c}$ and $D^{*}D^{*}η_{c}$ are calculated within the framework of the QCD sum rules. For each vertex, we analyze the momentum dependence of the coupling constants by considering all possible off-shell cases. In these analyses, we consider the contributions of the vacuum condensate terms $\langle\overline{q}q\rangle$, $\langle\overline{q}g_{s}σGq\rangle$, $\langle g_{s}^{2}G^{2}\rangle$, $\langle f^{3}G^{3}\rangle$ and $\langle\overline{q}q\rangle\langle g_{s}^{2}G^{2}\rangle$. Then, the momentum dependent coupling constants are fitted into analytical functions $g(Q^2)$ and are extrapolated into time-like regions. The values of strong coupling constants are obtained by using on-shell conditions of the intermediate mesons($Q^2=-m^2$). The final results are as follows, $g_{DDJ/ψ}=5.01^{+0.58}_{-0.16}$, $g_{DD^{*}J/ψ}=3.55^{+0.20}_{-0.21}$GeV$^{-1}$, $g_{D^{*}D^{*}J/ψ}=5.10^{+0.59}_{-0.43}$, $g_{DD^{*}η_{c}}=3.68^{+0.39}_{-0.11}$ and $g_{D^{*}D^{*}η_{c}}=4.87^{+0.42}_{-0.40}$GeV$^{-1}$.

A clear signal is observed with a statistical significance of $7.1σ$. The cross section of the reaction $Ξ^0+{^9\rm{Be}}\rightarrowΞ^-+p+{^8\rm{Be}}$ is determined to be $σ(Ξ^0+{^9\rm{Be}}\rightarrowΞ^-+p+{^8\rm{Be}})=(22.1\pm5.3_{\rm{stat}}\pm4.5_{\rm{sys}})$ mb at the $Ξ^0$ momentum of $0.818$ GeV/$c$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. No significant $H$-dibaryon signal is observed in the $Ξ^-p$ final state. This is the first study of hyperon-nucleon interactions in electron-positron collisions and opens up a new direction for such research.

The spin Hall effect (SHE) can generate a pure spin current by an electric current, which is promisingly used to electrically control magnetization. To reduce power consumption of this control, a giant spin Hall angle (SHA) in the SHE is desired in low-resistivity systems for practical applications. Here, critical spin fluctuation near the antiferromagnetic (AFM) phase-transition is proved as an effective mechanism to create an additional part of SHE, named as fluctuation spin Hall effect (FSHE). This FSHE enhances the SHA due to the AFM spin fluctuation between conduction electrons and local spins. We detect the FSHE with the inverse and direct spin Hall effect (ISHE and DSHE) set-up and their temperature (T) dependences in the Cr/MgO/Fe magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs). The SHA is significantly enhanced when temperature is approached to the Néel temperature (T_N) and has a peak value of -0.34 at 200 K near T_N. This value is higher than the room-temperature value by 240% and comparable to that of heavy metals Ta and W. Furthermore, the spin Hall resistivity of Cr well fits the modeled T-dependence when T approaches T_N from low temperatures, implying the AFM spin fluctuation nature of strong SHA enhancement. Thus, this study demonstrates the critical spin fluctuation as a prospective way of increasing SHA and enriches the AFM material candidates for spin-orbitronic devices.

Using $7.33~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data taken with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we report the first experimental study of the purely leptonic decay $D_s^{*+}\to e^+ν_e$. A signal for the decay $D_s^{*+}\to e^+ν_e$ is observed with a statistical significance of $2.9σ$. The branching fraction of ${D_s^{*+}\to e^+ν_e}$ is measured to be $(2.1{^{+1.2}_{-0.9}}_{\rm stat.}\pm0.2_{\rm syst.})\times 10^{-5}$, corresponding to an upper limit of $4.0\times10^{-5}$ at the 90\% confidence level. Taking the total width of the $D_s^{*+}$~(($0.070\pm0.028$) keV) predicted by lattice quantum chromodynamics as input, the decay constant of the $D^{*+}_s$ is determined to be $f_{D_s^{*+}}=(213.6{^{+61.0}_{-45.8}}_{\rm stat.}\pm43.9_{\rm syst.})$ MeV, corresponding to an upper limit of 353.8 MeV at the 90\% confidence level.
