In this study, we introduce the generalized Tribonacci hyperbolic spinors and properties of this new special numbers system by the generalized Tribonacci numbers, which are one of the most general form of the third-order recurrence sequences, generalized Tribonacci quaternions, and hyperbolic spinors, which have quite an importance and framework from mathematics to physics. This study especially improves the relations between the hyperbolic spinors and generalized Tribonacci numbers with the help of the generalized Tribonacci split quaternions. Furthermore, we examine some special cases of them and construct both new equalities and fundamental properties such as recurrence relation, Binet formula, generating function, exponential generating function, Poisson generating function, summation formulas, special determinant properties, matrix formula, and special determinant equations. Also, we give some numerical algorithms with respect to the obtained materials. In addition to these, we give a brief introduction for further research: generalized Tribonacci polynomial hyperbolic spinor sequence.

We convert these equations and their Lagrangians to two-component forms and find Hamiltonian representations of all these systems using Dirac's theory of constraints. We consider three-parameter integrable equations that are cubic in partial derivatives of the unknown applying our method of skew factorization of the symmetry condition. Lax pairs and recursion relations for symmetries are determined both for one-component and two-component forms. For cubic three-parameter equations in the two-component form we obtain recursion operators in $2\times 2$ matrix form and bi-Hamiltonian representations, thus discovering three new bi-Hamiltonian (2+1) systems.

Spin-fluctuation-mediated unconventional superconductivity can emerge at the border of magnetism, featuring a superconducting order parameter that changes sign in momentum space. Detection of such a sign-change is experimentally challenging, since most probes are not phase-sensitive. The observation of a spin resonance mode (SRM) from inelastic neutron scattering is often seen as strong phase-sensitive evidence for a sign-changing superconducting order parameter, by assuming the SRM is a spin-excitonic bound state. Here, we show that for the heavy fermion superconductor CeCoIn$_5$, its SRM defies expectations for a spin-excitonic bound state, and is not a manifestation of sign-changing superconductivity. Instead, the SRM in CeCoIn$_5$ likely arises from a reduction of dam** to a magnon-like mode in the superconducting state, due to its proximity to magnetic quantum criticality. Our findings emphasize the need for more stringent tests of whether SRMs are spin-excitonic, when using their presence to evidence sign-changing superconductivity.

In this study, ultrasonic measurements were performed on a single crystal of cubic PrNi$_2$Cd$_{20}$, down to a temperature of 0.02 K, to investigate the crystalline electric field ground state and search for possible phase transitions at low temperatures. The elastic constant $(C_{11}-C_{12})/2$, which is related to the $Γ_3$-symmetry quadrupolar response, exhibits the Curie-type softening at temperatures below $\sim$30 K, which indicates that the present system has a $Γ_3$ non-Kramers doublet ground state. A leveling-off of the elastic response appears below $\sim$0.1 K toward the lowest temperatures, which implies the presence of level splitting owing to a long-range order in a finite-volume fraction associated with $Γ_3$-symmetry multipoles. A magnetic field-temperature phase diagram of the present compound is constructed up to 28 T for $H \parallel$ [110]. A clear acoustic de Haas-van Alphen signal and a possible magnetic-field-induced phase transition at $H \sim$26 T are also detected by high-magnetic-field measurements.

We consider (3+1)-dimensional second-order evolutionary PDEs where the unknown $u$ enters only in the form of the 2nd-order partial derivatives. For such equations which possess a Lagrangian, we show that all of them have a symplectic Monge--Ampère form and determine their Lagrangians. We develop a calculus for transforming the symmetry condition to a "skew-factorized" form from which we immediately extract Lax pairs and recursion relations for symmetries, thus showing that all such equations are integrable in the traditional sense. We convert these equations together with their Lagrangians to a two-component form and obtain recursion operators in a $2\times 2$ matrix form. We transform our equations from Lagrangian to Hamiltonian form by using the Dirac's theory of constraints. Composing recursion operators with the Hamiltonian operators we obtain the second Hamiltonian form of our systems, thus showing that they are bi-Hamiltonian systems integrable in the sense of Magri. By this approach, we obtain five new bi-Hamiltonian multi-parameter systems in (3+1) dimensions.

Electrical resistivity measurements on non-fluorinated La$_{0.80}$Ti$_{0.20}$OBiS$_2$ and La$_{0.85}$Th$_{0.15}$OBiS$_2$ superconductors were performed between $\sim$1.5 K and 300 K and under pressure up to 2.4 GPa. For both compounds, the superconducting transition temperature $T_c$, which is $\sim$2.9 K at ambient pressure, gradually increases with pressure to 3.2-3.7 K at $\sim$1 GPa, above which it is suppressed and the superconducting transitions become very broad. Measurements of the normal state electrical resistivity of the two compounds reveal discontinuous changes of the resistivity as a function of pressure at $\sim$0.6 GPa. Surprisingly, above 1.3 GPa, semiconducting-like behavior reappears in La$_{0.80}$Ti$_{0.20}$OBiS$_2$. This study reveals a new high-pressure phase of La$_{1-x}$$M$$_x$OBiS$_2$ containing the tetravalent ions $M$ = Ti, Th which does not favor superconductivity. In contrast, application of pressure to fluorinated LaO$_0.5$F$_0.5$BiS$_2$ produces an abrupt tetragonal-monoclinic transition to a metallic phase with an enhanced $T_c$. These results demonstrate that the response of the normal and superconducting properties of LaOBiS$_2$-based compounds depends strongly on the atomic site where the electron donor ions are substituted.

From these measurements, no signature of magnetic order is found down to 25 mK. The value of the magnetic penetration depth extrapolated to 0 K is 0.89 (5) $μ$m. The temperature dependence of superconducting penetration depth is best described by either a multigap s + s-wave model with $Δ_{1}$ = 0.947 (7) meV and $Δ_{2}$ = 0.22 (4) meV or the ansiotropic s-wave model with $Δ(0)$ = 0.776 meV and anisotropic gap amplitude ratio $Δ_{min}/Δ_{max}$ = 0.34. Comparisons with other potentially multigap $\mathrm{BiS_{2}}$-based superconductors are discussed. The upper critical field $H_{c2}$ of polycrystalline samples of $Ln$O$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ ($Ln$ = La, Nd) at ambient pressure (tetragonal structure) and high pressure (HP) (monoclinic structure) have been investigated via electrical resistivity measurements at various magnetic fields up to 8.5 T. The $H_{c2}$($T$) curves for all the samples show an uncharacteristic concave upward curvature at temperatures below $T_c$, which cannot be described by the conventional one-band Werthamer-Helfand-Hohenberg theory. For the LaO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ sample under HP, as temperature is decreased, the upper critical field $H_{onset}$, estimated from the onset of the superconducting transitions, increases slowly between 4.9 and 5.8 T compared with the slope of $H_{onset}$($T$) below 4.9 T and above 5.8 T. This anomalous behavior reveals a remarkable similarity in superconductivity between LaO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ samples measured under HP and synthesized under HP, although the crystal structures of the two samples were reported to be different. The experimental results support the idea that local atomic environment, which can be tuned by applying external pressure and can be quenched to ambient pressure via high temperature-pressure annealing, is possibly more essential to the enhancement of $T_c$ for BiS$_2$-based superconductors than the structural phase transition. On the other hand, such anomalous behavior is very subtle in the case of NdO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ under HP, suggesting that the anisotropy of the upper critical field in the $ab$-plane and the possible lattice deformation induced by external pressure is weak. This explains why the pressure-induced enhancement of $T_c$ for NdO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ is not as large as that for LaO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$.

Although the resonance is commonly associated with a spin-exciton due to the $d$($s^{\pm}$)-wave symmetry of the superconducting order parameter, it has also been proposed to be a magnon-like excitation appearing in the superconducting state. Here we use inelastic neutron scattering to demonstrate that the resonance in the heavy fermion superconductor Ce$_{1-x}$Yb$_{x}$CoIn$_5$ with $x=0,0.05,0.3$ has a ring-like upward dispersion that is robust against Yb-do**. By comparing our experimental data with random phase approximation calculation using the electronic structure and the momentum dependence of the $d_{x^2-y^2}$-wave superconducting gap determined from scanning tunneling microscopy for CeCoIn$_5$, we conclude the robust upward dispersing resonance mode in Ce$_{1-x}$Yb$_{x}$CoIn$_5$ is inconsistent with the downward dispersion predicted within the spin-exciton scenario.

We find that an increase in Ce concentration leads to a suppression of the superconducting transition temperature from $T_{c}\sim 7.9$ K for $x=0$ to $T_c\sim 0.6$ K for $x=0.14$. Our analysis of the specific heat data for $x\leq 0.07$ reveals that superconductivity must develop in at least two bands: the superconducting order parameter has nodes on one Fermi pocket and remains fully gapped on the other. Both the nodal and nodeless gap values decrease, with the nodal gap being suppressed more strongly, with Ce substitution. Ultimately, the higher Ce concentration samples ($x>0.07$) display a nodeless gap only.

We present first heavenly equation of Plebański in a two-component evolutionary form and obtain Lagrangian and Hamiltonian representations of this system. We study all point symmetries of the two-component system and, using the inverse Noether theorem in the Hamiltonian form, obtain all the integrals of motion corresponding to each variational (Noether) symmetry. We derive two linearly independent recursion operators for symmetries of this system related by a discrete symmetry of both the two-component system and its symmetry condition. Acting by these operators on the first Hamiltonian operator $J_0$ we obtain second and third Hamiltonian operators. However, we were not able to find Hamiltonian densities corresponding to the latter two operators. Therefore, we construct two recursion operators, which are either even or odd, respectively, under the above-mentioned discrete symmetry. Acting with them on $J_0$, we generate another two Hamiltonian operators $J_+$ and $J_-$ and find the corresponding Hamiltonian densities, thus obtaining second and third Hamiltonian representations for the first heavenly equation in a two-component form. Using P. Olver's theory of the functional multi-vectors, we check that the linear combination of $J_0$, $J_+$ and $J_-$ with arbitrary constant coefficients satisfies Jacobi identities. Since their skew symmetry is obvious, these three operators are compatible Hamiltonian operators and hence we obtain a tri-Hamiltonian representation of the first heavenly equation. Our well-founded conjecture applied here is that P. Olver's method works fine for nonlocal operators and our proof of the Jacobi identities and bi-Hamiltonian structures crucially depends on the validity of this conjecture.

We report a study of the superconducting and normal-state properties of the filled-skutterudite system PrPt$_{4}$Ge$_{12-x}$Sb$_x$. Polycrystalline samples with Sb concentrations up to $x =$ 5 were synthesized and investigated by means of x-ray diffraction, electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat measurements. We observed a suppression of superconductivity with increasing Sb substitution up to $x =$ 4, above which, no signature of superconductivity was observed down to 140 mK. The Sommerfeld coefficient, $γ$, of superconducting specimens decreases with increasing $x$ up to $x =$ 3, suggesting that superconductivity may depend on the density of electronic states in this system. The specific heat for $x =$ 0.5 exhibits an exponential temperature dependence in the superconducting state, reminiscent of a nodeless superconducting energy gap. We observed evidence for a weak "rattling" mode associated with the Pr ions, characterized by an Einstein temperature $Θ_{\mathrm{E}} \sim$ 60 K for 0 $\leq x \leq$ 5; however, the rattling mode may not play any role in suppressing superconductivity.

Much interest and research effort has been focused on BiS$_{2}$-based compounds which provide new opportunities for exploring the nature of superconductivity. Important to the study of BiS$_{2}$-based superconductors is the relation between structure and superconductivity. By modifying either the superconducting BiS$_2$ layers or the blocking layers in these layered compounds, one can effectively tune the lattice parameters, local atomic environment, electronic structure, and other physical properties of these materials. The compounds that have higher Sm concentrations have higher $T$$_{c}$ values at ambient pressure; however, the $T$$_{c}$ values at $P$ $>$ $P$$_{\rm t}$ decrease with $x$ and $P$$_{\rm t}$ shifts to higher pressures with Sm substitution. In the normal state, semiconducting-like behavior is suppressed and metallic conduction is induced with increasing pressure in all of the samples. These results suggest that the pressure dependence of $T$$_{c}$ for the BiS$_{2}$-based superconductors is related to the lattice parameters at ambient pressure and enable us to estimate the evolution of $T$$_{c}$ for SmO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ under pressure.

We present the effect of yttrium substitution on superconductivity in the La$_{1-\textit{x}}$Y$_{\textit{x}}$O$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ system. Polycrystalline samples with nominal Y concentrations up to 40% were synthesized and characterized via electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat measurements. Y substitution reduces the lattice parameter \textit{a} and unit cell volume \textit{V}, and a correlation between the lattice parameter \textit{c}, the La-O-La bond angle, and the superconducting critical temperature $T_c$ is observed. The chemical pressure induced by Y substitution for La produces neither the high-$T_c$ superconducting phase nor the structural phase transition seen in LaO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ under externally applied pressure.

The superconducting and normal-state properties of La$_{1-x}$Sm$_{x}$O$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ (0.1 $\leqslant$ $x$ $\leqslant$ 0.9) have been studied via electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and specific heat measurements. By using suitable synthesis conditions, Sm exhibits considerable solubility into the CeOBiS$_{2}$-type LaO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ lattice. In addition to a considerable enhancement of the superconducting volume fraction, it is found that the superconducting transition temperature $T_{c}$ is dramatically enhanced with increasing Sm concentration to 5.4 K at $x$ = 0.8. These results suggest that $T_{c}$ for SmO$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ could be as high as $\sim$6.2 K and comparably high $T_{c}$ values might also be obtained in $Ln$O$_{0.5}$F$_{0.5}$BiS$_{2}$ ($Ln$ = Eu - Tm) if these compounds can be synthesized.

The Sommerfeld coefficient γ increases with increasing x from 48 mJ/mol K^2 up to 120 mJ/mol K^2 at x = 0.5, indicating an increase in strength of electronic correlations. The temperature dependence of the specific heat at low temperatures evolves from roughly T^3 for x = 0 to e^(-Δ/T) behavior for x = 0.05 and above, suggesting a crossover from a nodal to a nodeless superconducting energy gap or a transition from multiband to single-band superconductivity. Fermi-liquid behavior is observed throughout the series in low-temperature magnetization, specific heat, and electrical resistivity measurements.

At lower pressures, PrO0.5F0.5BiS2 and NdO0.5F0.5BiS2 exhibit superconductivity with critical temperatures Tc of 3.5 and3.9 K, respectively. As pressure is increased, both compounds undergo a transition at a pressure Pt from a low Tc superconducting phase to a high Tc superconducting phase in which Tc reaches maximum values of 7.6 and 6.4 K for PrO0.5F0.5BiS2 and NdO0.5F0.5BiS2, respectively. The pressure-induced transition is characterized by a rapid increase in Tc within a small range in pressure of ~0.3 GPa for both compounds. In the normal state of PrO0.5F0.5BiS2, the transition pressure Pt correlates with the pressure where the suppression of semiconducting behaviour saturates. In the normal state of NdO0.5F0.5BiS2, Pt is coincident with a semiconductor-metal transition. This behaviour is similar to the results recently reported for the LnO0.5F0.5BiS2 (Ln = La, Ce) compounds. We observe that Pt and the size of the jump in Tc between the two superconducting phases both scale with the lanthanide element in LnO0.5F0.5BiS2 (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd).

At atmospheric pressure, La(O0.5F0.5)BiS2 and Ce(O0.5F0.5)BiS2 have superconducting critical temperatures, Tc, of 3.3 K and 2.3 K, respectively. For both compounds, the superconducting critical temperature Tc initially increases, reaches a maximum value of 10.1 K for La(O0.5F0.5)BiS2 and 6.7 K for CeO(0.5F0.5)BiS2, and then gradually decreases with increasing pressure. Both samples also exhibit transient behavior in the region between the lower Tc phase near atmospheric pressure and the higher Tc phase. This region is characterized by a broadening of the superconducting transition, in which Tc and the transition width, delta Tc, are reversible with increasing and decreasing pressure. There is also an appreciable pressure-induced and hysteretic suppression of semiconducting behavior up to the pressure at which the maximum value of Tc is found. At pressures above the value at which the maximum in Tc occurs, there is a gradual decrease of Tc and further suppression of the semiconducting behavior with pressure, both of which are reversible.

The superconducting and normal states were characterized by electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, and heat capacity measurements. We also demonstrate that reducing the charge-carrier density (hole do**) via substitution of divalent Sr$^{+2}$ for La$^{+3}$ does not induce superconductivity.

In paper [3] on the classification of second-order PDEs with four independent variables that possess partner symmetries, asymmetric heavenly equation appears as one of canonical equations admitting partner symmetries. It was shown that all these canonical equations, together with general heavenly equation of Dubrov and Ferapontov [4], provide potentials for anti-self-dual Ricci-flat vacuum metrics [1,2,5], the asymmetric heavenly equation presenting the only exception so far. Our aim here is to show that the latter equation also governs anti-self-dual vacuum heavenly metric. We present the corresponding basis of null vector fields, null tetrad of coframe 1-forms and a general form of the metric. We obtain a multi-parameter polynomial solution of our equation which yields a family of metrics with the above properties. Riemann curvature 2-forms are also explicitly presented for the cubic solution to modified heavenly equation [4], which is a particular case of the asymmetric heavenly equation.

We discover multi-Hamiltonian structure of complex Monge-Ampere equation (CMA) set in a real first-order two-component form. Therefore, by Magri's theorem this is a completely integrable system in four real dimensions. We start with Lagrangian and Hamiltonian densities and obtain a symplectic form and the Hamiltonian operator that determines the Dirac bracket. We have calculated all point symmetries of two-component CMA system and Hamiltonians of the symmetry flows. We have found two new real recursion operators for symmetries which commute with the operator of a symmetry condition on solutions of the CMA system. These operators form two Lax pairs for the two-component system. The recursion operators, being applied to the first Hamiltonian operator, generate infinitely many real Hamiltonian structures. We show how to construct an infinite hierarchy of higher commuting flows together with the corresponding infinite chain of their Hamiltonians.
