This paper introduces CocoNut-Humoresque, an open-source large-scale speech likability corpus that includes speech segments and their per-listener likability scores. Evaluating voice likability is essential to designing preferable voices for speech systems, such as dialogue or announcement systems. In this study, we let 885 listeners rate 1800 speech segments of a wide range of speakers regarding their likability. When constructing the corpus, we also collected the multiple speaker attributes: genders, ages, and favorite YouTube videos. Therefore, the corpus enables the large-scale statistical analysis of voice likability regarding both speaker and listener factors. This paper describes the construction methodology and preliminary data analysis to reveal the gender and age biases in voice likability. In addition, the relationship between the likability and two acoustic features, the fundamental frequencies and the x-vectors of given utterances, is also investigated.

The complete positivity (CP) of a quantum dynamical map (QDM) is, in general, difficult to show when its master equation (ME) does not conform to the Gorini-Kossakowski-Sudarshan-Lindblad (GKSL) form. The GKSL ME describes the Markovian dynamics, comprising a unitary component with time-independent Hermitian operators and a non-unitary component with time-independent Lindblad operators and positive time-independent dam** rates. Recently, the non-Markovian dynamics has received growing attention, and the various types of GKSL-like MEs with time-dependent operators are widely discussed; however, rigorous discussions on their CP conditions remain limited. This paper presents conditions for QDMs to be CP, whose MEs take the GKSL-like form with arbitrary time dependence. One case considered is where its ME takes the time-local integro-differential GKSL-like form, which includes CP-divisible cases. Another case considered is where the ME is time-non-local but can be approximated to be time-local in the weak-coupling regime. As a special case of the time-non-local case, the same discussion holds for the time-convoluted GKSL-like form, which should be compared to previous studies.

We present a detailed investigation of photometric, spectroscopic, and polarimetric observations of the Type II SN 2023ixf. The early detection of highly-ionized flash features, rapid ascent in ultraviolet flux coupled with the blueward shift in near-ultraviolet colors and temperature provides compelling evidence for a delayed shock breakout from a confined dense circumstellar matter (CSM) envelo** the progenitor star. The temporal evolution of polarization in the SN 2023ixf phase revealed three distinct peaks in polarization evolution at 1.4 d, 6.4 d, and 79.2 d, indicating an asymmetric dense CSM, an aspherical shock front and clumpiness in the low-density extended CSM, and an aspherical inner ejecta/He-core. SN 2023ixf displayed two dominant axes, one along the CSM-outer ejecta and the other along the inner ejecta/He-core, showcasing the independent origin of asymmetry in the early and late evolution. The argument for an aspherical shock front is further strengthened by the presence of a high-velocity broad absorption feature in the blue wing of the Balmer features in addition to the P-Cygni absorption post 16 d. Hydrodynamical light curve modeling indicated a progenitor mass of 10 solar mass with a radius of 470 solar radius, explosion energy of 2e51 erg, and 0.06 solar mass of 56Ni. The modeling also indicated a two-zone CSM: a confined dense CSM extending up to 5e14 cm, with a mass-loss rate of 1e-2 solar mass per year, and an extended CSM spanning from 5e14 cm to 1e16 cm with a mass-loss rate of 1e-4 solar mass per year. The early nebular phase observations display an axisymmetric line profile of [OI] and red-ward attenuation of the emission of Halpha post 125 days, marking the onset of dust formation.

In text-to-speech synthesis, the ability to control voice characteristics is vital for various applications. By leveraging thriving text prompt-based generation techniques, it should be possible to enhance the nuanced control of voice characteristics. While previous research has explored the prompt-based manipulation of voice characteristics, most studies have used pre-recorded speech, which limits the diversity of voice characteristics available. Thus, we aim to address this gap by creating a novel corpus and develo** a model for prompt-based manipulation of voice characteristics in text-to-speech synthesis, facilitating a broader range of voice characteristics. Specifically, we propose a method to build a sizable corpus pairing voice characteristics descriptions with corresponding speech samples. This involves automatically gathering voice-related speech data from the Internet, ensuring its quality, and manually annotating it using crowdsourcing. We implement this method with Japanese language data and analyze the results to validate its effectiveness. Subsequently, we propose a construction method of the model to retrieve speech from voice characteristics descriptions based on a contrastive learning method. We train the model using not only conservative contrastive learning but also feature prediction learning to predict quantitative speech features corresponding to voice characteristics. We evaluate the model performance via experiments with the corpus we constructed above.

Differential cross sections of the elastic pion-proton scattering are investigated at very small momentum transfer in a holographic QCD model, considering both the strong and Coulomb interaction in the Regge regime. The strong interaction is described by the Pomeron and Reggeon exchange, and the Coulomb interaction is characterized by the one photon exchange. The two interactions are linked through an interference term and we only need to determine a single adjustable parameter involved in this term. As to the parameters for the strong interaction, we can utilize the values determined in the previous studies. The differential cross sections can be predicted without any additional parameters, and it is shown that our predictions are consistent with the experimental data. We explicitly show the momentum transfer dependence for the interference effect. The energy dependence of the contribution ratios for each component is also discussed.

Gauge/gravity duality is used to study properties of the doubly heavy baryon $(\mathrm{QQq})$ at finite rapidity and temperature in the heavy-ion collision. We investigate the impact of rapidity on string breaking and screening of $\mathrm{QQq}$, and compare these effects with the results for $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ in detail. Computations reveal that the string-breaking distances of $\mathrm{QQq}$ and $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ are close in the confined state and the effects of rapidity and temperature on the string breaking are not significant. An interesting result shows that $\mathrm{QQq}$ cannot be found at high enough temperatures and rapidities; however, $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ can exist under any conditions as long as the separation distance is small enough. Besides, the screening distances of $\mathrm{QQq}$ and $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ are also compared at finite rapidity and temperature. Based on the above analysis, we infer that $\rm Q\bar{Q}$ is more stable than $\mathrm{QQq}$ at finite rapidity and temperature.

Considering the success of text-conditioned generation, such as text-to-image, free-form text instruction should be useful for intuitive and complicated control of voice characteristics. A sufficiently large corpus of high-quality and diverse voice samples with corresponding free-form descriptions can advance such control research. However, neither an open corpus nor a scalable method is currently available. To this end, we develop Coco-Nut, a new corpus including diverse Japanese utterances, along with text transcriptions and free-form voice characteristics descriptions. Our methodology to construct this corpus consists of 1) automatic collection of voice-related audio data from the Internet, 2) quality assurance, and 3) manual annotation using crowdsourcing. Additionally, we benchmark our corpus on the prompt embedding model trained by contrastive speech-text learning.

Ongoing research and experiments have enabled quantum memory to realize the storage of qubits. On the other hand, interleaving techniques are used to deal with burst of errors. Effective interleaving techniques for combating burst of errors by using classical error-correcting codes have been proposed in several articles found in the literature, however, to the best of our knowledge, little is known regarding interleaving techniques for combating clusters of errors in topological quantum error-correcting codes. Motivated by that, in this work, we present new three and four-dimensional toric quantum codes which are featured by lattice codes and apply a quantum interleaving method to such new three and four-dimensional toric quantum codes. By applying such a method to these new codes we provide new three and four-dimensional quantum burst-error-correcting codes. As a consequence, new three and four-dimensional toric and burst-error-correcting quantum codes are obtained which have better information rates than those three and four-dimensional toric quantum codes from the literature. In addition to these proposed three and four-dimensional quantum burst-error-correcting codes improve such information rates, they can be used for burst-error-correction in errors which are located, quantum data stored and quantum channels with memory.

Based on previous studies of strong interactions described in terms of Pomeron and Reggeon exchange, we add the contribution of Coulomb interaction described by photon exchange. We present the momentum transfer dependence of the contribution rates for each component, especially for the Coulomb-nuclear interference, which refers to the cross term between both interactions. For the adjustable parameters for the strong interaction, we can adopt the values determined in previous studies, and there are no extra adjustable parameters that need to be determined for the Coulomb interaction. While our model involves several parameters, by virtue of the universality of the Pomeron and Reggeon, for most of them the values determined in the preceding study on the proton-proton and proton-antiproton scattering can be employed. Once the two adjustable parameters, the Pomeron-photon and Reggeon-photon coupling constant, are determined with the experimental data of the total cross sections, predicting the both cross sections in a wide kinematic region, from the GeV to TeV scale, becomes possible. We study the higher spin algebras of two-dimensional conformal field theory from the perspective of quantum integrability. Starting from Maulik-Okounkov instanton R-matrix and applying the procedure of algebraic Bethe ansatz, we obtain infinite commuting families of Hamiltonians of quantum ILW hierarchy parametrized by the shape of the auxiliary torus. We calculate explicitly the first five of these Hamiltonians. Then, we numerically verify that their joint spectrum can be parametrized by solutions of Litvinov's Bethe ansatz equations and we conjecture a general formula for the joint spectrum of all ILW Hamiltonians, based on results of Feigin, Jimbo, Miwa and Mukhin.
There are two interesting degeneration limits, the infinitely thick and the infinitely thin auxiliary torus. In one of these limits, the ILW hierarchy degenerates to Yangian or Benjamin-Ono hierarchy and the Bethe equations can be easily solved. The other limit is singular but we can nevertheless extract local Hamiltonians corresponding to quantum KdV or KP hierarchy. Litvinov's Bethe equations in this local limit provide an alternative to Bethe ansatz equations of Bazhanov, Lukyanov and Zamolodchikov, but are more transparent, work at any rank and are manifestly symmetric under triality symmetry of $\mathcal{W}_{1+\infty}$. Finally, we illustrate analytic properties of the solutions of Bethe equations in minimal models, in particular for Lee-Yang CFT. The analytic structure of Bethe roots is very rich as it captures the representation theory of $\mathcal{W}_N$ minimal models.

In this paper, we propose a method for intermediating multiple speakers' attributes and diversifying their voice characteristics in ``speaker generation,'' an emerging task that aims to synthesize a nonexistent speaker's naturally sounding voice. The conventional TacoSpawn-based speaker generation method represents the distributions of speaker embeddings by Gaussian mixture models (GMMs) conditioned with speaker attributes. Although this method enables the sampling of various speakers from the speaker-attribute-aware GMMs, it is not yet clear whether the learned distributions can represent speakers with an intermediate attribute (i.e., mid-attribute). To this end, we propose an optimal-transport-based method that interpolates the learned GMMs to generate nonexistent speakers with mid-attribute (e.g., gender-neutral) voices. We empirically validate our method and evaluate the naturalness of synthetic speech and the controllability of two speaker attributes: gender and language fluency. The evaluation results show that our method can control the generated speakers' attributes by a continuous scalar value without statistically significant degradation of speech naturalness.

As deep learning is widely used in the radiology field, the explainability of such models is increasingly becoming essential to gain clinicians' trust when using the models for diagnosis. In this research, three experiment sets were conducted with a U-Net architecture to improve the classification performance while enhancing the heatmaps corresponding to the model's focus through incorporating heatmap generators during training. All of the experiments used the dataset that contained chest radiographs, associated labels from one of the three conditions ("normal", "congestive heart failure (CHF)", and "pneumonia"), and numerical information regarding a radiologist's eye-gaze coordinates on the images. The paper (A. Karargyris and Moradi, 2021) that introduced this dataset developed a U-Net model, which was treated as the baseline model for this research, to show how the eye-gaze data can be used in multi-modal training for explainability improvement. To compare the classification performances, the 95% confidence intervals (CI) of the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) were measured. The best method achieved an AUC of 0.913 (CI: 0.860-0.966). The greatest improvements were for the "pneumonia" and "CHF" classes, which the baseline model struggled most to classify, resulting in AUCs of 0.859 (CI: 0.732-0.957) and 0.962 (CI: 0.933-0.989), respectively. The proposed method's decoder was also able to produce probability masks that highlight the determining image parts in model classifications, similarly as the radiologist's eye-gaze data. Hence, this work showed that incorporating heatmap generators and eye-gaze information into training can simultaneously improve disease classification and provide explainable visuals that align well with how the radiologist viewed the chest radiographs when making diagnosis.

We theoretically study the contribution of superconducting fluctuation to extrinsic spin Hall effects in two- and three-dimensional electron gas and intrinsic spin Hall effects in two-dimensional electron gas with Rashba-type spin-orbit interaction. The Aslamazov-Larkin, Density-of-States, Maki-Thompson terms have logarithmic divergence $\lnε$ in the limit $ε=(T- T_{\mathrm{c}})/T_{\mathrm{c}} \rightarrow +0$ in two-dimensional systems for both extrinsic and intrinsic spin Hall effects except the Maki-Thompson terms in extrinsic effect, which are proportional to $(ε-γ_\varphi)^{-1}\lnε$ with a cutoff $γ_\varphi$ in two-dimensional systems. We found that the fluctuation effects on the extrinsic spin Hall effect have an opposite sign to that in the normal state, while those on the intrinsic spin Hall effect have the same sign.

A toric quantum error-correcting code construction procedure is presented in this work. A new class of an infinite family of toric quantum codes is provided by constructing a classical cyclic code on the square lattice $\mathbb{Z}_{q}\times \mathbb{Z}_{q}$ for all odd integers $q\geq 5$ and, consequently, new toric quantum codes are constructed on such square lattices regardless of whether $q$ can be represented as a sum of two squares. Furthermore this work supplies for each $q$ the polyomino shapes that tessellate the corresponding square lattices and, consequently, tile the lattice $\mathbb{Z}^{2}$. The channel without memory to be considered for these constructed toric quantum codes is symmetric, since the $\mathbb{Z}^{2}$-lattice is autodual. Moreover, we propose a quantum interleaving technique by using the constructed toric quantum codes which shows that the code rate and the coding gain of the interleaved toric quantum codes are better than the code rate and the coding gain of Kitaev's toric quantum codes for $q=2n+1$, where $n\geq 2$, and of an infinite class of Bombin and Martin-Delgado's toric quantum codes. In addition to the proposed quantum interleaving technique improves such parameters, it can be used for burst-error correction in errors which are located, quantum data stored and quantum channels with memory.

Modern theories of physics tell that the vacuum is not an empty space. Hidden in the vacuum is a structure of anti-quarks $\bar{q}$ and quarks $q$. The $\bar{q}$ and $q$ pair has the same quantum number as the vacuum and condensates in it since the strong interaction of the quantum chromodynamics (QCD) is too strong to leave it empty. The $\bar{q}q$ condensation breaks the chiral symmetry of the vacuum. The expectation value $<\bar{q}q>$ is an order parameter. For higher temperature or higher matter-density, $|<\bar{q}q>|$ decreases reflecting the restoration of the symmetry. In contrast to these clear-cut arguments, experimental evidence is so far limited. First of all, the $\bar{q}q$ is nothing but the vacuum itself. It is neither visible nor perceptible. In this article, we unravel this invisible existence by high precision measurement of pionic atoms, $π^-$-meson-nucleus bound systems. Using the $π^-$ as a probe, we demonstrate that $|<\bar{q}q>|$ is reduced in the nucleus at 58% of the normal nuclear density by a factor of 77 $\pm$ 2% compared with that in the vacuum. This reduction indicates that the chiral symmetry is partially restored due to the extremely high density of the nucleus. The present experimental result clearly exhibits the existence of the hidden structure, the chiral condensate, in the vacuum.

The total and differential cross sections of high energy pion-proton and pion-pion scattering are investigated in a holographic QCD model, focusing on the Regge regime in which the Pomeron exchange gives the dominant contribution to those cross sections. The Pomeron is described by the Reggeized spin-2 particle propagator, and the hadron-Pomeron couplings are given by gravitational form factors of the hadrons, which are obtained from the bottom-up AdS/QCD models. Since the parameters, which characterize the Pomeron trajectory, have been determined in a preceding study of the proton-proton scattering, the pion-proton cross sections can be expressed with a single adjustable parameter. Once this parameter is determined by the experimental data of the pion-proton total cross section, its differential cross section and the pion-pion cross sections can be calculated without any additional parameter. Although the currently available data are limited, it is found that our calculation is consistent with those. Our predictions are explicitly shown, and the present model can be tested at the future experimental facilities.

In particular, shifted QY acts on general subcrystals of the original BPS crystal. A trigonometric deformation called quiver quantum toroidal algebra (QQTA) was also proposed and shown to act on the same BPS crystal. Unlike QY, QQTA has a formal Hopf superalgebra structure which is useful in deriving representations.
In this paper, we define the shifted QQTA and study a class of their representations. We define 1d and 2d subcrystals of the original 3d crystal by removing a few arrows from the original quiver diagram and show how the shifted QQTA acts on them. We construct the 2d crystal representations from the 1d crystal representations by utilizing a generalized coproduct acting on different shifted QQTAs. We provide a detailed derivation of subcrystal representations of $\mathbb{C}^{3}$, $\mathbb{C}^{3}/\mathbb{Z}_{n}(n\geq 2)$, conifold, suspended pinch point, and $\mathbb{C}^{3}/(\mathbb{Z}_{2}\times\mathbb{Z}_{2})$.

Recently, Li and Yamazaki proposed a new class of infinite-dimensional algebras, quiver Yangian, which generalizes the affine Yangian $\mathfrak{gl}_{1}$. The characteristic feature of the algebra is the action on BPS states for non-compact toric Calabi-Yau threefolds, which are in one-to-one correspondence with the crystal melting models. These algebras can be bootstrapped from the action on the crystals and have various truncations.
In this paper, we propose a $q$-deformed version of the quiver Yangian, referred to as the quiver quantum toroidal algebra (QQTA). We examine some of the consistency conditions of the algebra. In particular, we show that QQTA is a Hopf superalgebra with a formal super coproduct, like known quantum toroidal algebras. QQTA contains an extra central charge $C$. When it is trivial ($C=1$), QQTA has a representation acting on the three-dimensional crystals, like Li-Yamazaki's quiver Yangian. While we focus on the toric Calabi-Yau threefolds without compact 4-cycles, our analysis can likely be generalized to all toric Calabi-Yau threefolds.

Fashion styles adopted every day are an important aspect of culture, and style trend analysis helps provide a deeper understanding of our societies and cultures. To analyze everyday fashion trends from the humanities perspective, we need a digital archive that includes images of what people wore in their daily lives over an extended period. In fashion research, building digital fashion image archives has attracted significant attention. However, the existing archives are not suitable for retrieving everyday fashion trends. In addition, to interpret how the trends emerge, we need non-fashion data sources relevant to why and how people choose fashion. In this study, we created a new fashion image archive called Chronicle Archive of Tokyo Street Fashion (CAT STREET) based on a review of the limitations in the existing digital fashion archives. CAT STREET includes images showing the clothing people wore in their daily lives during the period 1970--2017, which contain timestamps and street location annotations. We applied machine learning to CAT STREET and found two types of fashion trend patterns. Then, we demonstrated how magazine archives help us interpret how trend patterns emerge. These empirical analyses show our approach's potential to discover new perspectives to promote an understanding of our societies and cultures through fashion embedded in consumers' daily lives.

In recent years, machine learning and AI have been introduced in many industrial fields. In fields such as finance, medicine, and autonomous driving, where the inference results of a model may have serious consequences, high interpretability as well as prediction accuracy is required. In this study, we propose CGA2M+, which is based on the Generalized Additive 2 Model (GA2M) and differs from it in two major ways. The first is the introduction of monotonicity. Imposing monotonicity on some functions based on an analyst's knowledge is expected to improve not only interpretability but also generalization performance. The second is the introduction of a higher-order term: given that GA2M considers only second-order interactions, we aim to balance interpretability and prediction accuracy by introducing a higher-order term that can capture higher-order interactions. In this way, we can improve prediction performance without compromising interpretability by applying learning innovation. Numerical experiments showed that the proposed model has high predictive performance and interpretability. Furthermore, we confirmed that generalization performance is improved by introducing monotonicity.

We present a precise measurement of the cross section, proton and $\rm ^3He$ analyzing powers, and spin correlation coefficient $C_{y,y}$ for $p$-$\rm ^3He$ elastic scattering near 65 MeV, and a comparison with rigorous four-nucleon scattering calculations based on realistic nuclear potentials and a model with $Δ$-isobar excitation. Clear discrepancies are seen in some of the measured observables in the regime around the cross section minimum. Theoretical predictions using scaling relations between the calculated cross section and the $\rm ^3 He$ binding energy are not successful in reproducing the data. Large sensitivity to the $NN$ potentials and rather small $Δ$-isobar effects in the calculated cross section are noticed as different features from those in the deuteron-proton elastic scattering. The results obtained above indicate that $p$-$\rm ^3He$ scattering at intermediate energies is an excellent tool to explore nuclear interactions not accessible by three-nucleon scattering.

Recently, Gaiotto and Rapcak proposed a generalization of $W_N$ algebra by considering the symmetry at the corner of the brane intersection (corner vertex operator algebra). The algebra, denoted as $Y_{L,M,N}$, is characterized by three non-negative integers $L, M, N$. It has a manifest triality automorphism which interchanges $L, M, N$, and can be obtained as a reduction of $W_{1+\infty}$ through a "pit" in the plane partition representation. Later, Prochazka and Rapcak proposed a representation of $Y_{L,M,N}$ in terms of $L+M+N$ free bosons through a generalization of Miura transformation, where they use the fractional power differential operators. In this paper, we derive a $q$-deformation of their Miura transformation. It gives the free field representation for $q$-deformed $Y_{L,M,N}$, which is obtained as a reduction of the quantum toroidal algebra. We find that the $q$-deformed version has a "simpler" structure than the original one because of the Miki duality in the quantum toroidal algebra. For instance, one can find a direct correspondence between the operators obtained by the Miura transformation and those of the quantum toroidal algebra. Furthermore, we can show that the screening charges of both the symmetries are identical.

Creation of nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers at the nanoscale surface region in diamond, while retaining their excellent spin and optical properties, is essential for applications in quantum technology. Here, we demonstrate the extension of the spin-coherence time ($\it{T}$${_2}$), the stabilization of the charge state, and an improvement of the creation yield of NV centers formed by the ion-implantation technique at a depth of $\sim$15 nm in phosphorus-doped n-type diamond. The longest $\it{T}$${_2}$ of about 580 $μ$s of a shallow NV center approaches the one in bulk diamond limited by the nuclear spins of natural abundant $^{13}$C. The averaged $\it{T}$${_2}$ in n-type diamond is over 1.7 times longer than that in pure non-doped diamond. Moreover, the stabilization of the charge state and the more than twofold improvement of the creation yield are confirmed. The enhancements for the shallow NV centers in an n-type diamond-semiconductor are significant for future integrated quantum devices.

The analysis of daily-life fashion trends can provide us a profound understanding of our societies and cultures. However, no appropriate digital archive exists that includes images illustrating what people wore in their daily lives over an extended period. In this study, we propose a new fashion image archive, Chronicle Archive of Tokyo Street-fashion (CAT STREET), to shed light on daily-life fashion trends. CAT STREET includes images showing what people wore in their daily lives during 1970--2017, and these images contain timestamps and street location annotations. This novel database combined with machine learning enables us to observe daily-life fashion trends over a long term and analyze them quantitatively. To evaluate the potential of our proposed approach with the novel database, we corroborated the rules-of-thumb of two fashion trend phenomena that have been observed and discussed qualitatively in previous studies. Through these empirical analyses, we verified that our approach to quantify fashion trends can help in exploring unsolved research questions. We also demonstrate CAT STREET's potential to find new standpoints to promote the understanding of societies and cultures through fashion embedded in consumers' daily lives.

In order to meet the data rate and efficiency metrics, 5G networks have emerged as a follow-on to 4G, and projected to have 100X higher wireless date rates and 100X lower latency than those with current 4G networks. Major challenges arise in the packaging of radio-frequency front-end modules because of the stringent low signal-loss requirements in the millimeter-wave frequency bands, and precision-impedance designs with smaller footprints and thickness. Heterogeneous integration in 3D ultra-thin packages with higher component densities and performance than with the existing 2D packages is needed to realize such 5G systems. In this paper, we consider the generalization in which the space-time manifold emerges from a gauge symmetry algebra which is not necessarily $gl(\infty)$. We focus on the second nontrivial example after the toroidal compactification, the coset space $G/H$, and propose a specific infinite-dimensional symmetry which realizes the geometry. It consists of the gauge-algebra valued functions on the coset and Lorentzian generator pairs associated with the isometry. We show that the $0$-dimensional gauge theory with the mass and Chern-Simons terms gives the gauge theory on the coset with scalar fields associated with $H$.

Although it has become possible to automatically detect anomalies and analyze root causes of failures with current methods, making decisions on what commands should be executed to recover from failures still depends on manual operation, which is quite time-consuming. Toward automatic recovery, we propose a method of estimating recovery commands by using Seq2Seq, a neural network model. This model learns complex relationships between logs obtained from equipment and recovery commands that operators executed in the past. When a new failure occurs, our method estimates plausible commands that recover from the failure on the basis of collected logs. We conducted experiments using a synthetic dataset and realistic OpenStack dataset, demonstrating that our method can estimate recovery commands with high accuracy.

We investigate the nucleon and pion gluon distribution functions in the framework of holographic QCD, focusing on the small Bjorken x region. Based on an approximate relation, the gluon distributions are extracted from structure functions of the unpolarized deep inelastic scattering which can be calculated with a holographic QCD model, assuming the Pomeron exchange. All the adjustable parameters of the model are determined with the HERA data of the proton structure functions. We explicitly show that the extracted proton gluon distribution is consistent with results of the recent global QCD analysis. The structure functions of the pion can be computed without any additional parameter, which enables us to predict its gluon distribution also. We find that the resulting pion gluon density is smaller than the proton's, and agrees with the recent global QCD analysis result within the uncertainties.

Abstract:
Free fermion system is the simplest quantum field theory which has the symmetry of Ding-Iohara-Miki algebra (DIM). DIM has S-duality symmetry, known as Miki automorphism which defines the transformation of generators. In this note, we introduce the second set of the fermionic basis (S-dual basis) which implement the duality transformation. It may be interpreted as the Fourier dual of the standard…

DIM has S-duality symmetry, known as Miki automorphism which defines the transformation of generators. In this note, we introduce the second set of the fermionic basis (S-dual basis) which implement the duality transformation. It may be interpreted as the Fourier dual of the standard basis, and the inner product between the standard and the S-dual ones is proportional to the Hopf link invariant. We also rewrite the general topological vertex in the form of Awata-Feigin-Shiraishi intertwiner and show that it becomes more symmetric for the duality transformation.

The cross sections of the high energy proton-proton scattering are studied in a holographic QCD model, focusing on the Regge regime. In our model setup, the involved nonperturbative partonic dynamics is described by the Pomeron exchange, which is realized by applying the Reggeized spin-2 particle propagator together with the proton gravitational form factor obtained from the bottom-up AdS/QCD model. Our model includes three adjustable parameters which are to be fitted by experimental data. We show that both the resulting differential and total cross sections are consistent with data, including the ones recently measured at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV by the TOTEM collaboration at the LHC. Our results imply that the present framework works well in the considered TeV scale, and further applications to other high energy scattering processes, in which the involved strong interaction can be approximated by the Pomeron exchange, are possible.

As examples to show this feature of the model, the resulting total cross sections of the pion-nucleon and pion-pion scattering are also presented.

Definitive General Proof of Goldbach's conjecture

The Goldbach conjecture states that every even integer is the sum of two primes. This conjecture was proposed in 1742 and, despite being obviously true, has remained unproven. To prove this conjecture, I have identified a subset of the even numbers that have relatively few prime pairs compared to the other even numbers. This subset is the set of all n such that n=2p where p is prime. An equation was derived that determines the number of prime pairs for n=2p. It is then proven that the equation never goes to zero for any n, and as n increases, the number of prime pairs also increases, thus validating Goldbach's conjecture.

We present our analysis on the high energy scattering processes in the framework of the holographic QCD, assuming that the Pomeron exchange gives a dominant contribution to the cross sections. Focusing on the two-body scattering, we employ the Brower-Polchinski-Strassler-Tan Pomeron exchange kernel to describe the strong gluonic interaction, and utilize the bottom-up AdS/QCD models to obtain the density distributions of the involved hadrons in the five-dimensional AdS space, to calculate the total cross sections. Considering the unpolarized deep inelastic scattering at small Bjorken $x$ and the high energy hadron-hadron scattering, we show that our calculations are consistent with the presently available experimental data. Our predictions made via this framework can be tested at various experimental facilities in the future.

We present our analysis on the valence quark distribution functions of the $K^{+}$ meson, $v^{K (u)} (x, Q^2)$ and $v^{K (\bar{s})} (x, Q^2)$, taking into account the meson cloud effects in the framework of the chiral constituent quark model. Assuming appropriate bare quark distribution functions at the initial scale, evaluating the Goldstone boson dressing corrections with the model, and performing the QCD evolution, one can obtain the realistic dressed distributions at a certain scale. The phenomenologically satisfactory valence quark distribution of the pion was obtained in the previous study and there are available experimental data of the valence $u$ quark distribution ratio $v^{K(u)} (x, Q^2) / v^{π(u)} (x, Q^2)$, which enable us to obtain the kaon quark distribution functions. Besides presenting the resulting dressed distributions, we also show how the meson cloud effects affect the bare distributions in detail. A striking result is that the observed size of the SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking is considerably smaller than those seen in the preceding works based on other approaches.

Combining the Brower-Polchinski-Strassler-Tan Pomeron exchange kernel and gravitational form factors of the involved hadrons which are obtained by using the bottom-up AdS/QCD models in the five-dimensional AdS space, we calculate the total cross sections at high energies. We show that our calculations for the nucleon-nucleon scattering agree with the experimental data including the recent ones taken by the TOTEM collaboration at the LHC. The present framework is applicable to any high energy process, in which the strong interaction can be approximated by the Pomeron exchange. We present the results for the pion-nucleon and pion-pion scattering as examples, which can be obtained without any additional parameter because all the adjustable parameters are fixed via the analysis on the nucleon-nucleon scattering. The resulting total cross section ratios are $σ_{tot}^{πN} / σ_{tot}^{N N} = 0.63$ and $σ_{tot}^{ππ} / σ_{tot}^{N N} = 0.45$, respectively.
