Production of heavy charged particles in proton-proton ultraperipheral collisions at the Large Hadron Collider: survival factor
Abstract: Ultraperipheral collisions of high energy protons are a source of approximately real photons colliding with each other. LHC as a photon-photon collider: bounds on $Γ_{X\toγγ}$
Abstract: In the relatively recent CMS data, there is a hint on the existence of a resonance with the mass 28 GeV coupling to muons. Such a resonance should also couple to photons through the fermion loop, therefore it can be searched for in ultraperipheral collisions (UPC) of protons. Binary systems of neutral mesons in Quantum Field Theory
Abstract: Quasi-degenerate binary systems of neutral mesons of the kaon type are investigated in Quantum Field Theory (QFT). General constraints cast by analyticity and discrete symmetries P, C, CP, TCP on the propagator (and on its spectral function) are deduced. Its poles are the physical masses; this unambiguously defines the propagating eigenstates. It is diagonalized and its spectrum thoroughly inves… ▽ More

Difference of \tilde εand εin fitting the parameters of CKM matrix
Abstract: The difference between induced by box diagram value of \tilde εand experimentally measured value of εis estimated. It appeared to be around 5 - 10 %, depending on the values of hadronic matrix elements. With this result, the fit of CKM marix parameters within the SM is performed.
