Abstract:
The ALICE Collaboration has measured inclusive J/psi production in pp collisions at a center of mass energy sqrt(s)=2.76 TeV at the LHC. The results presented in this Letter refer to the rapidity ranges |y|<0.9 and 2.5<y<4 and have been obtained by measuring the electron and muon pair decay channels, respectively. The ALICE Collaboration has measured inclusive J/psi production in pp collisions at a center of mass energy sqrt(s)=2.76 TeV at the LHC. The results presented in this Letter refer to the rapidity ranges |y|<0.9 and 2.5<y<4 and have been obtained by measuring the electron and muon pair decay channels, respectively. The integrated luminosities for the two channels are L^e_int=1.1 nb^-1 and L^mu_int=19.9 nb^-1, and the corresponding signal statistics are N_J/psi^e+e-=59 +/- 14 and N_J/psi^mu+mu-=1364 +/- 53. We present dsigma_J/psi/dy for the two rapidity regions under study and, for the forward-y range, d^2sigma_J/psi/dydp_t in the transverse momentum domain 0<p_t<8 GeV/c. The results are compared with previously published results at sqrt(s)=7 TeV and with theoretical calculations.

Central interactions of 208Pb nuclei at 158 A GeV/c and 32S at 200 A GeV/c taken with emulsion track detector have been studied using the horizontal factorial moment method. An evidence for the presence of intermittent behaviour has been shown. The values of slopes for experimental data are higher than values from cascade and FRITIOF models. The dependences of these spectra on the number of fast target protons (g-particles) are studied. They show visually some plateau and "shoulder" which are at least three selected points on the distributions. The plateau seems wider in Pb+Em reactions. The existing of plateau is expected for the parton models. The maximum entropy method confirms the existence of the plateau and the shoulder of the distributions.

Experimental results on peripheral fragmentation of relativistic $^{11}$B nuclei are presented. In the experiment the emulsions exposured to $^{11}$B beam with momentum 2.75 A GeV/c at the JINR Nuclotron are used. The relative probability of various fragmentation channels for nucleus breakups (class A) and more violent peripheral interactions (class B) have been determined. For classes under investigations the sum of the fragment charges in narrow forward cone is equal to the projectile charge, but in the events of class A there are no secondary particles and in the events of class B there are. In both classes the main channels is $^{11}$B$\to$2He+X: 62% and 50%, corresponding. The main channel $^{11}$B$\to$2(Z$_{fr}$=2)+(Z$_{fr}$=1) was investigated in details.
Momentum measurements of single-charged fragments have been done to determine number of p, d and t in the channel. This way it was found that the ratio N$_{p}$ : N$_{d}$ : N$_{t}$ is about 1:1:1 for
$^{11}$B nuclei dissociation and about 15:5:1 for peripheral interactions of $^{11}$B nuclei.
