Concentrated solar power (CSP) is one of the growing technologies that is leading the process of changing from fossil fuels to renewable energies. The sophistication and size of the systems require an increase in maintenance tasks to ensure reliability, availability, maintainability and safety. Currently, automatic fault detection in CSP plants using Parabolic Trough Collector systems evidences two main drawbacks: 1) the devices in use needs to be manually placed near the receiver tube, 2) the Machine Learning-based solutions are not tested in real plants. We address both gaps by combining the data extracted with the use of an Unmaned Aerial Vehicle, and the data provided by sensors placed within 7 real plants. The resulting dataset is the first one of this type and can help to standardize research activities for the problem of fault detection in this type of plants. Our work proposes supervised machine-learning algorithms for detecting broken envelopes of the absorber tubes in CSP plants. The proposed solution takes the class imbalance problem into account, boosting the accuracy of the algorithms for the minority class without harming the overall performance of the models. For a Deep Residual Network, we solve an imbalance and a balance problem at the same time, which increases by 5% the Recall of the minority class with no harm to the F1-score. Additionally, the Random Under Sampling technique boost the performance of traditional Machine Learning models, being the Histogram Gradient Boost Classifier the algorithm with the highest increase (3%) in the F1-Score. To the best of our knowledge, this paper is the first providing an automated solution to this problem using data from operating plants.

The paper discusses the transformation of decorated Ising models into an effective \textit{undecorated} spin models, using the most general Hamiltonian for interacting Ising models including a long range and high order interactions. The inverse of a Vandermonde matrix with equidistant nodes $[-s,s]$ is used to obtain an analytical expression of the transformation. This kind of transformation is very useful to obtain the partition function of decorated systems. The method presented by Fisher is also extended, in order to obtain the correlation functions of the decorated Ising models transforming into an effective undecorated Ising models. We apply this transformation to a particular mixed spin-(1/2,1) and (1/2,2) square lattice with only nearest site interaction. This model could be transformed into an effective uniform spin-$S$ square lattice with nearest and next-nearest interaction, furthermore the effective Hamiltonian also include combinations of three-body and four-body interactions, particularly we considered spin 1 and 2.

We study a two dimensional XXZ-Ising on square-hexagon (4-6) lattice with spin-1/2. The phase diagram of the ground state energy is discussed, shown two different ferrimagnetic states and two type of antiferromagnetic states, beside of a ferromagnetic state. To solve this model, it could be mapped into the eight-vertex model with union jack interaction term. Imposing exact solution condition we find the region where the XXZ-Ising model on 4-6 lattice have exact solutions with one free parameter, for symmetric eight-vertex model condition. In this sense we explore the properties of the system and analyze the competition of the interaction parameters providing the region where it has an exact solution. However the present model does not satisfy the \textit{free fermion} condition, unless for a trivial situation. Even so we are able to discuss their critical points region, when the exactly solvable condition is ignored.

The asymmetric tetrahedron is composed by all edges of tetrahedron represented by Ising interaction except one, which has a Heisenberg type interaction. This asymmetric tetrahedron is arranged connecting a vertex which edges are only Ising type interaction to another vertex with same structure of another tetrahedron. The process is replicated and this kind of lattice we call the asymmetric Ising-Heisenberg chain. We have studied the ground state phase diagram for this kind of models. Particularly we consider two situations in the Heisenberg-type interaction, (i) The asymmetric tetrahedral spin(1/2,1/2) Ising-XYZ chain, and (ii) the asymmetric tetrahedral spin-(1/2,1) Ising-XXZ chain, where we have found a rich phase diagram and a number of multicritical points. Additionally we have also studied their thermodynamics properties and the correlation function, using the decorated transformation. We have mapped the asymmetric tetrahedral Ising-Heisenberg chain in an effective Ising chain, and we have also concluded that it is possible to evaluate the partition function including a longitudinal external magnetic field.

The action is constructed to be invariant under SUSY transformations and $τ$-reparametrizations even when an interaction field is including. The constraint analysis is achieved and the equations of motion are derived. The commutation relations obtained for the commuting spinor variables $λ$ show that the particle states have fractional statistics and spin. At once we introduce a possible massive term for the non-interacting model.

Abstract:
In this work we study the electromagnetic field at Finite Temperature via the massless DKP formalism. The constraint analysis is performed and the partition function for the theory is constructed and computed. When it is specialized to the spin 1 sector we obtain the well-known result for the thermodynamic equilibrium of the electromagnetic field.

Abstract:
We prove the equivalence of many-photon Green functions in statistical quantum field Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau (DKP) and Klein-Gordon-Fock (KGF) theories using functional path integral formalism for partition functional in statistical quantum (finite temperature) field theory. We also calculate the polarization operators in these theories in one-loop approximation, and demonstrate their coincidence.

Abstract:
In this paper we consider the scalar sector of Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau theory in the framework of Epstein-Glaser causal method. We calculate the lowest order distributions for Compton scattering, vacuum polarization, self-energy and vertex corrections. By requiring gauge invariance of the theory we recover, in a natural way, the scalar propagator of the usual effective theory.

Two problems relative to the electromagnetic coupling of Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau (DKP) theory are discussed: the presence of an anomalous term in the Hamiltonian form of the theory and the apparent difference between the Interaction terms in DKP and Klein-Gordon (KG) Lagrangians. For this, we first discuss the behavior of DKP field and its physical components under gauge transformations. From this analysis, we can show that these problems simply do not exist if one correctly analyses the physical components of DKP field.
