Quantum Register Algebra: the mathematical language for quantum computing
Abstract: We introduce Quantum Register Algebra (QRA) as an efficient tool for quantum computing. We show the direct link between QRA and Dirac formalism. We present GAALOP (Geometric Algebra Algorithms Optimizer) implementation of our approach. Using the QRA basis vectors definitions given in Section 4 and the framework based on the de Witt basis presented in Section 5, we are able to fully describe and co… ▽ More

Quantum computing based on complex Clifford algebras
Abstract: We propose to represent both $n$--qubits and quantum gates acting on them as elements in the complex Clifford algebra defined on a complex vector space of dimension $2n.$ In this framework, the Dirac formalism can be realized in straightforward way. We demonstrate its functionality by performing quantum computations with several well known examples of quantum gates. We also compare our approach wi… ▽ More

Note on geometric algebras and control problems with SO(3)-symmetries
Abstract: We study the role of symmetries in control systems through the geometric algebra approach. We discuss two specific control problems on Carnot groups of step $2$ invariant with respect to the action of $SO(3)$. We understand the geodesics as the curves in suitable geometric algebras which allows us to assess a new algorithm for the local control.

On multi-conditioned conic fitting in Geometric algebra for conics
Abstract: We introduce several modifications of conic fitting in Geometric algebra for conics by incorporating additional conditions into the optimisation problem. Each of these extra conditions ensure additional geometric properties of a fitted conic, in particular, centre point position at the origin of coordinate system, axial alignment with coordinate axes, or, eventually, combination of both. All deriv… ▽ More

Solver-free optimal control for Linear Dynamical Switched System by means of Geometric Algebra
Abstract: We design an algorithm for control of a linear switched system by means of Geometric Algebra. More precisely, we develop a switching path searching algorithm for a two-dimensional linear dynamical switched system with non-singular matrix whose integral curves are formed by two sets of centralised ellipses. Then it is natural to represent them as elements of Geometric Algebra for Conics (GAC) and c… ▽ More

Projective Geometric Algebra as a Subalgebra of Conformal Geometric algebra
Abstract: We show that if PGA is understood as a subalgebra of CGA in mathematically correct sense, then the flat objects share the same representation in PGA and CGA. Particularly, we treat duality in PGA. This leads to unification of PGA and CGA objects which is important especially for software implementation and symbolic calculations.

Nilpotent approximation of a trident snake robot controlling distribution
Abstract: We construct a privileged system of coordinates with respect to the controlling distribution of a trident snake robot and, furthermore, we construct a nilpotent approximation with respect to the given filtration. Note that all constructions are local in the neighbourhood of a particular point. We compare the motions corresponding to the Lie bracket of the original controlling vector fields and the… ▽ More

A note on jet and geometric approach to higher order connections
Abstract: We compare two ways of interpreting higher order connections. The geometric approach lies in the decomposition of higher order tangent space into the horizontal and vertical structures while the jet--like approach considers a higher order connection as the section of a jet prolongation of a fibered manifold. Particularly, we use the Ehresmann prolongation of a general connection and study the resu… ▽ More

Geometry of almost Cliffordian manifolds: classes of subordinated connections
Abstract: An almost Clifford and an almost Cliffordian manifold is a $G$--structure based on the definition of Clifford algebras. An almost Clifford manifold based on $\mathcal O:= \cc l (s,t)$ is given by a reduction of the structure group $GL(km, \mathbb R)$ to $GL(m, {\mathcal O})$, where $k=2^{s+t}$ and $m \in \mathbb N$. An almost Cliffordian manifold is given by a reduction of the structure group to… ▽ More
