The influence of the tensor interaction of nucleons on the characteristics of neutron-rich silicon and nickel isotopes was studied in this work. Tensor forces are taken into account within the framework of the Hartree-Fock approach with the Skyrme interaction. It is shown that the addition of tensor component of interaction improves the description of the splitting between different single-particle states and leads to a decrease in nucleon-nucleon pairing correlations in silicon and nickel nuclei. Special attention was given to the role of isovector tensor forces relevant for interaction of like nucleons.

A study of the inelastic scattering of neutrons with an energy of $14.1$~MeV on the nuclei of oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur was carried out at the TANGRA facility at JINR (Dubna). The purpose of the experiment was to refine existing and obtain new data on the yields and angular distributions of $γ$-quanta emitted by the studied nuclei as a result of neutron-induced nuclear reactions using the tagged neutron method. Two types of detector systems were used to register $γ$-quanta. The $γ$-ray yields were measured using a high-purity germanium (HPGe) detector. The angular distributions of $γ$-rays were obtained using a system of 18 scintillation detectors based on bismuth germanite Bi$_{4}$Ge$_{3}$O$_{12}$ (BGO) located around the sample. As a result of the studies carried out, the yields of two transitions for the reaction of tagged neutrons with $^{16}$O, nine transitions for the reaction with $^{31}$P, and nine transitions for the reaction with $^{32}$S were measured for the first time. The angular anisotropy of the $γ$-radiation accompanying the inelastic scattering of neutrons with an energy of $14.1$~MeV on $^{31}$P nuclei was also measured for the first time.

When modeling nuclear processes which occur in heavy-ion reactions, it is necessary to calculate the potential energy of interaction between two nuclei. One of the main features determining the dynamics of the nucleus-nucleus collision is the Coulomb barrier, the knowledge of which is especially important when low- and intermediate-energy reactions are being studied. Our goal is to establish a parameterization of nucleon density distributions for calculation of the nucleus-nucleus double-folding potential in nuclear reactions. Special attention is paid to the description of the Coulomb barrier. The study analyzes experimental data on charge radii, diffuseness, and neutron skin thickness of atomic nuclei. The nucleus-nucleus potential is calculated in the framework of the double-folding method with the effective nucleon-nucleon interaction taken in the form of the zero-range Migdal potential. Based on this analysis and comparison with the Bass potential, parameters of nucleon density distributions are fitted to reproduce the Coulomb barrier. A method for correcting the parameters of nucleon densities to reproduce the Coulomb barrier with the double-folding potential is proposed. The presented way to correct nucleon densities allows obtaining a satisfactory description of the Coulomb barrier that is important for modeling near-barrier collisions of heavy ions.

Excited states in low-energy spectra in $^{70-76}$Ni are considered. To this end, pairing forces in form of surface delta interaction are employed to account for formation of the ground state multiplet with seniority $ν= 2$ states. The multiplet splitting is described with mass relations of masses of neighbouring nuclei. Subsequently, seniority model is used to reproduce or predict the states $ν= 3$ in odd-even isotopes and $ν= 4$ in even-even isotopes. Correct account of $2_1^+$ state should allow for description of reversed order of states $J = 4$ with $ν= 2$ and $ν= 4$ observed in experiment. The results obtained are compared with the structure of similar multiplets in $N=50$ isotones.

The Multi-Purpose Detector (MPD) has been designed to operate at NICA and its components are currently in production. The detector is expected to be ready for data taking with the first beams from NICA. This document provides an overview of the landscape of the investigation of the QCD phase diagram in the region of maximum baryonic density, where NICA and MPD will be able to provide significant and unique input. It also provides a detailed description of the MPD set-up, including its various subsystems as well as its support and computing infrastructures. Selected performance studies for particular physics measurements at MPD are presented and discussed in the context of existing data and theoretical expectations.

Analysis of various mass relations connected with neutron-proton correlations in atomic nuclei is carried out. On the example of $N = Z$ chain it is shown that for self-adjoint nuclei various formulas proposed in literature for $ np $ pairing energy estimations lead to similar results. Significant differences between the calculation methods arise when nuclei with $N \ne Z$ are considered, which allows to show the complexity of neutron-proton correlations in different types of atomic nuclei and to make some assumptions on the correspondence of a mass ratio to the real effect of $ np $ pairing. The Shell Model parametrization of binding energy makes it possible to arrive to additional conclusions on the structure of mass formulas and their interrelationships with one another.

New data on proton and neutron single-particle energies $E_{nlj}$ of Si isotopes with neutron number $N$ from 12 to 28 as well as occupation probabilities $N_{nlj}$ of single particle states of stable isotopes $^{28,30}$Si near the Fermi energy were obtained by the joint evaluation of the strip** and pick-up reaction data and excited state decay schemes of neighboring nuclei. The evaluated data indicate following features of single-particle structure evolution: persistence of $Z = 14$ subshell closure with $N$ increase, the new magicity of the number $N = 16$, and the conservation of the magic properties of the number $N = 20$ in Si isotopic chain. The features were described by the dispersive optical model. The calculation also predicts the weakening of $N = 28$ shell closure and demonstrates evolution of bubble-like structure of the proton density distributions in neutron-rich Si isotopes.

We discuss the experimental data on the n,e-scattering length bne and the values of mean square charge radius of the neutron <r^2> obtained from them. It is shown that the accumulated during the last 50 years most significant experimental estimates of the bne are not contradictory and lead to the average value <r^2>=-0.1178+-0.0037 fm^2. Assuming that all the authors have underestimated the errors of their measurements by a factor of 1.7, the combined fit of all available experimental data would lead to Chi^2~1 per degree of freedom. Different modern theoretical predictions of <r^2> are considered. They are found to be in a good agreement with the obtained experimental value <r^2>. However the existing theoretical description of the structure of neutron does not provide a value of <r^2> with a sufficient accuracy.
