Unintegrated gluon distributions for forward jets at LHC
Abstract: We test several BFKL-like evolution equations for unintegrated gluon distributions against forward-central dijet production at LHC. Our study is based on fitting the evolution scenarios to the LHC data using the high energy factorization approach. Thus, as a by-product, we obtain a set of LHC-motivated unintegrated gluon distributions ready to use. We utilize this application by calculating azimut… ▽ More

Gluon distributions from Oliveira-Martin-Ryskin combined BFKL+DGLAP evolution equations
Abstract: Kwiecinski, Martin, Stasto [13] argue for inclusion of DGLAP terms into BFKL evolution of unintegrated gluon density. The equation was reformulated by Oliveira, Martin, Ryskin [6] employing the opening angle θ = k/xp as the evolution variable. It leads to a description of a θ-integrated gluon density. This paper is a numerical study of these two similar combined BFKL+DGLAP formulations. It is a de… ▽ More

Gluon saturation scale from the KGBJS equation
Abstract: The CCFM equation and its extended form with a quadratic term (KGBJS equation) are solved with fixed and running coupling constant. The solution of the KGBJS equation is compared to gluon densities resulting from the CCFM and BK equations. As the saturation scale $Q_s$ now becomes available as a function of the hard scale $p$ we observe that low values of $p$ impede its growth with $\frac 1 x$. Al… ▽ More

Numerical solution of the integral form of the resummed Balitsky-Kovchegov equation
Abstract: The Balitsky--Kovchegov (BK) evolution equation in its resummed integral form as obtained in JHEP 1202 (2012) 117 and arXiv:1206.1223 is considered. We solve it numerically and compare to the unresummed BK equation formulated as an integral equation and to the solution obtained by the BKsolver package. Sensitivity of the solution to an introduced resolution parameter and initial conditions is inve… ▽ More
