The upcoming phase of space exploration not only includes trips to Mars and beyond, but also holds great promise for human progress. However, the harm caused by cosmic radiation, consisting of Galactic Cosmic Rays and Solar Particle Events, is an important safety concern for astronauts and other living things that will accompany them. Research exploring the biological effects of cosmic radiation includes experiments conducted in space itself and in simulated space environments on Earth. Notably, NASA's Space Radiation Laboratory has taken significant steps forward in simulating cosmic radiation by using particle accelerators and is currently pioneering the progress in this field. Curiously, much of the research emphasis thus far has been on understanding how cosmic radiation impacts living organisms, instead of finding ways to help them resist the radiation. In this paper, we briefly talk about current research on the biological effects of cosmic radiation and propose possible protective measures through biological interventions. In our opinion, biological response pathways responsible for co** with stressors on Earth can provide effective solutions for protection against the stress caused by cosmic radiation. We also recommend evaluating the effectiveness of these pathways through experiments using particle accelerators to simulate the effects of cosmic radiation.

In spite of extensive studies conducted in search of vector-like quarks, there are only a limited number of experimental studies on vector-like leptons. Moreover, these searches do not include all possible decay modes of vector-like leptons. Therefore, the analyses done so far are incomplete. In this letter, we highlight decay channels that are not covered by different experimental analyses, with a focus on L3, ATLAS, and CMS results. We argue that experimental analyses should be redone considering these shortcomings.

Another alternative to the ERL50 is to construct an e-ring with the same energy and length. In this case, 4.2x10^{33} cm^{-2}s^{-1} luminosity can be reached. The advantage of this option is that the μ-ring can be installed instead of the e-ring as a next stage, which will allow it to reach a much higher center of mass energy.

In this study we argue that vector-like leptons should be included into the new physics search programs of energy-frontier colliders. We consider production of vector-like partners of the first SM family leptons at the HL-LHC, HE-LHC, FCC, ILC, CLIC, Muon Collider, as well as, at ep and μ-p colliders. As for decays of vector-like leptons, we present branching ratios formulas to different channels for the most general case. Since there are many different production and decay channels for charged and neutral vector-like leptons, relevant studies should be done systematically. We invite the High Energy Physics community (both experimenters and phenomenologists) to actively participate in research on this topic.

The Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC) is designed to move the field of deep inelastic scattering (DIS) to the energy and intensity frontier of particle physics. Exploiting energy recovery technology, it collides a novel, intense electron beam with a proton or ion beam from the High Luminosity--Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). The accelerator and interaction region are designed for concurrent electron-proton and proton-proton operation. This report represents an update of the Conceptual Design Report (CDR) of the LHeC, published in 2012. It comprises new results on parton structure of the proton and heavier nuclei, QCD dynamics, electroweak and top-quark physics. It is shown how the LHeC will open a new chapter of nuclear particle physics in extending the accessible kinematic range in lepton-nucleus scattering by several orders of magnitude. Due to enhanced luminosity, large energy and the cleanliness of the hadronic final states, the LHeC has a strong Higgs physics programme and its own discovery potential for new physics. Building on the 2012 CDR, the report represents a detailed updated design of the energy recovery electron linac (ERL) including new lattice, magnet, superconducting radio frequency technology and further components. Challenges of energy recovery are described and the lower energy, high current, 3-turn ERL facility, PERLE at Orsay, is presented which uses the LHeC characteristics serving as a development facility for the design and operation of the LHeC. An updated detector design is presented corresponding to the acceptance, resolution and calibration goals which arise from the Higgs and parton density function physics programmes. The paper also presents novel results on the Future Circular Collider in electron-hadron mode, FCC-eh, which utilises the same ERL technology to further extend the reach of DIS to even higher centre-of-mass energies.

Future Circular Collider is one of the next generation energy-frontier proton-proton colliders with 100 TeV center of mass energy and promising very high luminosity. FCC will be an extraordinary machine for searching Beyond the Standard Model physics because of its very high center of mass energy and luminosity. Searching supersymmetric particles via R-parity violated interactions could be listed in promising BSM physics at the FCC. Scalar tau neutrino is one of the most interesting predictions. A search for $\widetildeν_τ$ neutrino decaying into $eμ$ final state via R-parity violated interactions has been conducted at the FCC-pp. It is seen from this research that FCC-pp will be able to discover $\widetildeν_τ$ up to 28.8 TeV, observe 32.0 TeV and exclude 34.5 TeV mass values by taking $λ_{311}^{\prime}=0.11$ and $λ_{312}=λ_{321}=0.07$ at $\mathcal{L}_{int}=17500\,fb^{-1}$. FCC-pp, also, will allow to examine very low values of the Yukawa coupling constants which cause R-parity violation interactions. It is obviously seen that FCC-pp will give an opportunity for detailed research on scalar tau neutrino production and decay via R-parity violated interactions.

Abstract:
We present some general remarks on supersymmetric extensions of fermion-scalar and three-fermion preonic models with an assumption of supersymmetry is realized at preonic level. The motivation and the requirement of this assumption are briefly given. In general, supersymmetric extensions of fermion-scalar (three-fermion) models predict 4 (10) "super" partners for each Standard Model fermion.

A minimal fermion-scalar preonic model containing two fermionic and one scalar preons is proposed. This scheme allows to prevent the occurrence of undesired SM-level particles, namely leptons and quarks with unusual electric charges. Similar to the previous FS models, color-octet leptons and color-sextet quarks, which are expected to have masses much lower than the compositeness scale, are predicted. Observation of these particles could provide first indications of preonic models. FCC (SppC) pp option will give opportunity to probe $m_{q_{6}}$ up to 48 (75) TeV and $m_{l_{8}}$ up to 15 (27) TeV within one year operation at nominal luminosity. FCC/SppC based ep and $μ$p colliders will essentially enlarge covered mass region, namely, $m_{e_{8}}$ up to 23/27 TeV and $m_{μ_{8}}$ up to 68/80 TeV.

Several Beyond the Standard Model theories are proposed that fermions might have composite substructure. The existence of excited quarks is going to be the noticeable proof for the compositeness of Standard Model fermions. For this reason, excited quarks have been investigated by phenomenological and experimental high energy physicists at various collider options for the last few decades. The Future Circular Collider (FCC) has been recently planned as particle accelerator to be established at CERN. Beside the $\sqrt{s}$ = 100 TeV proton-proton collisions, the FCC includes electron-positron and electron-proton collision options. Construction of linear $e^- e^+$ colliders (or dedicated e-linac) tangential to the FCC will afford an opportunity to handle multi-TeV $ep$ and $γp$ collisions. In this respect, we executed a simulation of the resonance production of the excited $u$ quark at the FCC based $γp$ colliders with choosing both the polarized and unpolarized photon beams. The findings revealed that the chirality structure of the $q^*$-$q$-$γ$ vertex can be determined by the photon beam polarization. The attainable mass limits of the excited $u$ quark reached the highest values when the polarized photon beam was chosen. In addition, the ultimate compositeness scale values can be handled by appropriate choice of the photon beam polarization.

It is shown that $L_{ep}$ $\sim$ $10^{32}$ $cm^{-2}s^{-1}$ can be achieved with moderate upgrade of the SppC proton beam parameters. Physics search potential of proposed lepton-proton colliders is illustrated by considering small Bjorken x region as an example of SM physics and resonant production of color octet leptons as an example of BSM physics.

Commonly used LEBT including two focusing solenoid magnets will transport and match the H- beam from a volume source to RFQ. In the beam dynamics simulations of such a LEBT line, 95% space-charge compensation (SCC) has been considered in this study. We aimed to find out the determination of our RFQ input parameters that gives the best possible beam quality at the entrance of the RFQ using beam collimator in the LEBT line as an alternative way. In this way, we have acquired the best possible beam quality on RFQ input plane as well as optimizing the LEBT line.

The LHeC exploits and develops challenging, though principally existing, accelerator and detector technologies. This summary is complemented by brief illustrations of some of the highlights of the physics programme, which relies on a vastly extended kinematic range, luminosity and unprecedented precision in deep inelastic scattering. Illustrations are provided regarding high precision QCD, new physics (Higgs, SUSY) and electron-ion physics. The LHeC is designed to run synchronously with the LHC in the twenties and to achieve an integrated luminosity of O(100) fb$^{-1}$. It will become the cleanest high resolution microscope of mankind and will substantially extend as well as complement the investigation of the physics of the TeV energy scale, which has been enabled by the LHC.

The aims of the design studies are perfect matching between input and output beams with two solenoid magnets, small emittance growth and sufficient space for beam diagnostics. Total length of such LEBT channel is about 1.3 m. The current of H- ion beam from ion source is 80 mA. In the beam dynamical simulations, we have taken into account some space charge compensation (SCC) factors between %93.75 and %100. The results of both codes have been compared for the selected SCC factors. Additionally, beam aperture study for % 95 SCC factor has been done to discard unwanted particles and increase the beam brightness.

Following a brief review of our contributions to the 2006 European PP Strategy, recent comments on several topics are presented. First of all, it is emphasized that only the simplest version of the fourth chiral generation, namely, minimal SM4 (mSM4) with only one Higgs doublet is in some tension with the recent LHC data on the Higgs boson search. This tension, which follows from the relative strengths of the H --> 4l and Higgs --> γγ channels, can be naturally resolved if there is a mechanism to enhance the H-->γγ width (although any charged and heavy particle could enhance the H-γ-γ loop, 2HDM can be given as an example).
We then emphasize the possible role of the linac-ring type colliders, especially LHeC (QCD Exploder) and TAC super charm factory. The QCD Explorer will give opportunity to enlighten the origin of the 98.5% portion of the visible universe's mass. Especially the γ-nucleus option seems to be very promising for QCD studies. The TAC super charm factory may provide opportunity to investigate the charm physics with statistics well above that of the dedicated runs at Super-B factories.
Finally, it is argued that the history of particle physics (and, more generally, the history of the investigation of the fundamental ingredients of the matter), a large number of "fundamental" particles, an inflation of observable free parameters, and, especially, the mixing of "fundamental" fermions favor the idea of a new set of fundamental particles at a deeper level. These new particles can be formulated with the preonic or even pre-preonic models.

The technical design report is planned to be finished in 2013. Since Turkey has essential Thorium reserves the ADS becomes very attractive for our country as emerging energy technology.

The physics programme and the design are described of a new collider for particle and nuclear physics, the Large Hadron Electron Collider (LHeC), in which a newly built electron beam of 60 GeV, up to possibly 140 GeV, energy collides with the intense hadron beams of the LHC. Compared to HERA, the kinematic range covered is extended by a factor of twenty in the negative four-momentum squared, $Q^2$, and in the inverse Bjorken $x$, while with the design luminosity of $10^{33}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$ the LHeC is projected to exceed the integrated HERA luminosity by two orders of magnitude. The physics programme is devoted to an exploration of the energy frontier, complementing the LHC and its discovery potential for physics beyond the Standard Model with high precision deep inelastic scattering measurements. These are designed to investigate a variety of fundamental questions in strong and electroweak interactions. The physics programme also includes electron-deuteron and electron-ion scattering in a $(Q^2, 1/x)$ range extended by four orders of magnitude as compared to previous lepton-nucleus DIS experiments for novel investigations of neutron's and nuclear structure, the initial conditions of Quark-Gluon Plasma formation and further quantum chromodynamic phenomena. The LHeC may be realised either as a ring-ring or as a linac-ring collider. Optics and beam dynamics studies are presented for both versions, along with technical design considerations on the interaction region, magnets and further components, together with a design study for a high acceptance detector. Civil engineering and installation studies are presented for the accelerator and the detector. The LHeC can be built within a decade and thus be operated while the LHC runs in its high-luminosity phase. It thus represents a major opportunity for progress in particle physics exploiting the investment made in the LHC.

Abstract:
The single production of fourth family sneutrino $\tildeν_{4}$ via R-parity violating interactions in electron-positron collisions has been investigated. We study the decays of $\tildeν_{4}$ into different flavor dilepton $e^{\pm}μ^{\mp}$ via R-parity violation. It is shown that R-parity violating couplings $(λ_{411},λ_{412})$ down to 0.001 will be reachable at future linear colliders which would…

Abstract:
This summary of the 3rd "Beyond the 3 Generation Standard Model" workshop presents the following four statements (and their implications) for the ongoing and future searches of a fourth generation:
1) The enhancement of the Higgs gluon-gluon production cross-section times branching fraction for many of the search channels studied at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is not a flat factor of 9;

1) The enhancement of the Higgs gluon-gluon production cross-section times branching fraction for many of the search channels studied at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is not a flat factor of 9;
2) Electroweak precision data allows for not only a fourth generation, even more generations are allowed;
3) Consideration of mixing significantly changes the conclusions about the interpretation of experimental constraints, and even a fully-degenerate fourth generation becomes allowed;
4) The features that make a fourth generation of fermions attractive are still valid even under the light of initial LHC results.

However, a fourth Standard Model family neutrino could cause the opposite situation. It is shown that relatively light fourth family neutrino (2m_(nu_(4))<m_(H)) could drastically change the interpretation of the search results for the Higgs boson, especially if m_(H)<170 GeV.
