Abstract:
The four decay modes $D^{0}\toφπ^{0}$, $D^{0}\toφη$, $D^{+}\toφπ^{+}$, and $D^{+}\toφK^{+}$ are studied by using a data sample taken at the centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 3.773$~GeV~with the BESIII detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb$^{-1}$. The four decay modes $D^{0}\toφπ^{0}$, $D^{0}\toφη$, $D^{+}\toφπ^{+}$, and $D^{+}\toφK^{+}$ are studied by using a data sample taken at the centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 3.773$~GeV~with the BESIII detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb$^{-1}$. The branching fractions of the first three decay modes are measured to be ${\cal B}(D^{0}\toφπ^{0})=(1.168\pm0.028\pm0.028)\times10^{-3}$, ${\cal B}(D^{0}\toφη)=(1.81\pm0.46\pm0.06)\times10^{-4}$, and ${\cal B}(D^{+}\toφπ^{+})=(5.70\pm0.05\pm0.13)\times10^{-3}$, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. No significant signal is observed of the decay $D^+\toφ{K^+}$ and the upper limit of its branching fraction is set for the first time, to be $2.1\times10^{-5}$ at the $90\%$ confidence level. The ratio of ${\cal B}(D^0\toφπ^0)$ to $\cal B(D^+\toφπ^+)$ is calculated to be $(20.49\pm0.50\pm0.45)\%$, which is consistent with the theoretical prediction based on isospin symmetry between these two decay modes.

Abstract:
We measure the Born cross sections of the process $e^{+}e^{-} \to K^{+}K^{-}K^{+}K^{-}$ at center-of-mass (c.m.) energies, $\sqrt{s}$, between 2.100 and 3.080 GeV. Abstract:
Using a data sample of $1.31\times10^{9} ~J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector, a search for $η'\toγγη$ via $J/ψ\toγη'$ is performed for the first time. No significant $η'$ signal is observed in the $γγη$ invariant mass spectrum, and the %upper limit of the branching fraction of $η'\toγγη$ is determined to be less than $1.33 \times 10^{-4}$ at the 90$\%$ confidence level.
Using a data sample of $1.31\times10^{9} ~J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector, a search for $η'\toγγη$ via $J/ψ\toγη'$ is performed for the first time. We study $e^{+}e^{-}$ collisions with a $π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}η_{c}$ final state using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}=4.226$, $4.258$, $4.358$, $4.416$, and $4.600$ GeV. Evidence for the decay $\zcpm\to\rhopm\etac$ is reported with a statistical significance of $3.9σ$ with various systematic uncertainties taken into account at $\sqrt{s} = 4.226$ GeV, and the Born cross section times branching fraction $σ^{B}(\EE\to \pimp\zcpm)\times \BR(\zcpm\to\rhopm\etac)$ is measured to be $(48 \pm 11 \pm 11)\,\rm{pb}$. The $\zcpm\to \rhopm\etac$ signal is not significant at the other center-of-mass energies and the corresponding upper limits are determined. In addition, no significant signal is observed in a search for $\zcppm\to ρ^{\pm}\etac$ with the same data samples. The ratios $R_{\zc}=\BR(\zcpm\to ρ^{\pm} \etac)/\BR(\zcpm\to π^{\pm} \jpsi)$ and $R_{\zcp}=\BR(\zcppm\to ρ^{\pm} \etac)/\BR(\zcppm\to π^{\pm} \hc)$ are obtained and used to discriminate between different theoretical interpretations of the $\zcpm$ and $\zcppm$.

Abstract:
Using a sample of $448.1\times10^6$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform a study of the decay $ψ(3686) \rightarrow φπ^{+}π^{-}η$. Using a sample of $448.1\times10^6$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform a study of the decay $ψ(3686) \rightarrow φπ^{+}π^{-}η$. The branching fraction of $ψ(3686)\rightarrowφη^\prime$ is determined to be $(1.51\pm0.16\pm0.12)\times 10^{-5}$, which is consistent with the previous measurement but with significantly improved precision. The resonances $f_{1}(1285)$ and $η(1405)$ are clearly observed in the $π^{+}π^{-}η$ mass spectrum with statistical significances of $18σ$ and $9.7σ$, respectively. The corresponding product branching fractions are measured to be $\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686)\rightarrowφf_{1}(1285),f_{1}(1285)\rightarrowπ^{+}π^{-}η) =(1.03\pm0.10\pm0.09)\times 10^{-5}$ and $\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686)\rightarrowφη(1405),η(1405)\rightarrowπ^{+}π^{-}η) =(8.46\pm1.37\pm0.92)\times 10^{-6}$.

Using a sample of $(1310.6\pm7.0)\times10^6$ $J/ψ$ events recorded with the BESIII detector at the symmetric electron positron collider BEPCII, we report the observation of the decay of the $(1^1 S_0)$ charmonium state $η_c$ into a pair of $ω$ mesons in the process $J/ψ\toγωω$. The branching fraction is measured for the first time to be $\mathcal{B}(η_c\toωω)= (2.88\pm0.10\pm0.46\pm0.68)\times10^{-3}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third is from the uncertainty of $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\toγη_c)$. The mass and width of the $η_c$ are determined as $M=(2985.9\pm0.7\pm2.1)\,$MeV/$c^2$ and $Γ=(33.8\pm1.6\pm4.1)\,$MeV.

The process of $e^+e^- \rightarrow p\bar{p}$ is studied at 22 center-of-mass energy points ($\sqrt{s}$) from 2.00 to 3.08 GeV, exploiting 688.5~pb$^{-1}$ of data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross section~($σ_{p\bar{p}}$) of $e^+e^- \rightarrow p\bar{p}$ is measured with the energy-scan technique and it is found to be consistent with previously published data, but with much improved accuracy. In addition, the electromagnetic form-factor ratio ($|G_{E}/G_{M}|$) and the value of the effective ($|G_{\rm{eff}}|$), electric ($|G_E|$) and magnetic ($|G_M|$) form factors are measured by studying the helicity angle of the proton at 16 center-of-mass energy points. $|G_{E}/G_{M}|$ and $|G_M|$ are determined with high accuracy, providing uncertainties comparable to data in the space-like region, and $|G_E|$ is measured for the first time. We reach unprecedented accuracy, and precision results in the time-like region provide information to improve our understanding of the proton inner structure and to test theoretical models which depend on non-perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics.

Using $e^+e^-\toΛ_c^+\barΛ_c^-$ production from a 567 pb$^{-1}$ data sample collected by BESIII at 4.6 GeV, a full angular analysis is carried out simultaneously on the four decay modes of $Λ_c^+\to pK_S^0$, $Λπ^+$, $Σ^+π^0$, and $Σ^0π^+$. For the first time, the $Λ_c^+$ transverse polarization is studied in unpolarized $e^+e^-$ collisions, where a non-zero effect is observed with a statistical significance of 2.1$σ$. The decay asymmetry parameters of the $Λ_c^+$ weak hadronic decays into $pK_S^0$, $Λπ^+$, $Σ^+π^0$ and $Σ^0π^+$ are measured to be $0.18\pm0.43(\rm{stat})\pm0.14(\rm{syst})$, $-0.80\pm0.11(\rm{stat})\pm0.02(\rm{syst})$, $-0.57\pm0.10(\rm{stat})\pm0.07(\rm{syst})$, and $-0.73\pm0.17(\rm{stat})\pm0.07(\rm{syst})$, respectively. In comparison with previous results, the measurements for the $Λπ^+$ and $Σ^+π^0$ modes are consistent but with improved precision, while the parameters for the $pK_S^0$ and $Σ^0π^+$ modes are measured for the first time.

A partial-wave analysis of the decay $J/ψ\to K^+K^-π^0$ has been made using $(223.7\pm1.4)\times 10^{6}$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector in 2009. The analysis, which is performed within the isobar-model approach, reveals contributions from $K^*_2(1430)^\pm$, $K^*_2(1980)^\pm$ and $K^*_4(2045)^\pm$ decaying to $K^\pmπ^0$. The two latter states are observed in $J/ψ$ decays for the first time. Two resonance signals decaying to $K^+K^-$ are also observed. These contributions can not be reliably identified and their possible interpretations are discussed. The measured branching fraction $B(J/ψ\to K^+K^-π^0)$ of $(2.88\pm0.01\pm0.12)\times10^{-3}$ is more precise than previous results. Branching fractions for the reported contributions are presented as well. The results of the partial-wave analysis differ significantly from those previously obtained by BESII and BABAR.

The exclusive process $e^+e^-\rightarrowΛ\barΛ$, with $Λ\to pπ^-$ and $\barΛ \to \bar{p}π^+$, has been studied at $\sqrt{s} =$ 2.396 GeV for measurement of the $Λ$ electric and magnetic form factors, $G_E$ and $G_M$. A data sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 66.9 pb$^{-1}$, was collected with the BESIII detector for this purpose. A multi-dimensional analysis with a complete decomposition of the spin structure of the reaction enables a determination of the modulus of the ratio $R=|G_E/G_M|$ and, for the first time for any baryon, the relative phase $ΔΦ=Φ_E-Φ_M$. The resulting values are obtained using the recent and most precise measured value of the asymmetry parameter $α_Λ$ = $0.750~\pm~0.010$ to be $R~=~0.96\pm0.14~(\rm stat.)\pm~0.02~(\rm sys.)$ and $ΔΦ=37^{\mathrm{o}}\pm~12^{\mathrm{o}}~(\rm stat.)\pm~6^{\mathrm{o}}~(\rm sys.)$, respectively. In addition, the cross section is measured with unprecedented precision to be $σ= 118.7~\pm~5.3~(\rm stat.)\pm~5.1~(\rm sys.)$ pb, which corresponds to an effective form factor of $|G|=0.123~\pm~0.003~(\rm stat.)\pm~0.003~(\rm sys.)$. The contribution from two-photon exchange is found to be negligible. Our result enables the first complete determination of baryon time-like electromagnetic form factors.

Several intermediate states of the reaction channels $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow π^{+} π^{-} D^{0} \bar{D}^{0}$ and $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow π^{+} π^{-} D^{+}D^{-}$ are studied using the data samples collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies above 4.08 GeV. For the first time in this final state, a $ψ(3770)$ signal is seen in the $D\bar{D}$ invariant mass spectrum, with a statistical significance of $5.2σ$ at $\sqrt{s} = 4.42$ GeV. There is also evidence for this resonance at $\sqrt{s}$ = 4.26 and 4.36 GeV with statistical significance of 3.2$σ$ and 3.3$σ$, respectively. In addition, the Born cross section of $e^{+}e^{-}\to π^{+}π^{-}ψ(3770)$ is measured. The proposed heavy-quark-spin-symmetry partner of the $X(3872)$, the state $X_{2}(4013)$, is also searched for in the $D\bar{D}$ invariant mass spectra. No obvious signal is found. The upper limit of the Born cross section of the process $e^{+}e^{-}\to ρ^{0}X_{2}(4013)$ combined with the branching fraction is measured. Also, the processes $e^{+}e^{-}\to D_{1}(2420)\bar{D} + c.c.$ are investigated. The neutral mode with $D_{1}(2420)^{0}\to D^{0}π^{+}π^{-}$ is reported with statistical significance of 7.4$σ$ at $\sqrt{s} = 4.42$ GeV for the first time, and evidence with statistical significance of 3.2$σ$ and 3.3$σ$ at $\sqrt{s}$ = 4.36 and 4.60 GeV is seen, respectively. No evident signal for the process $e^{+}e^{-}\to D_{1}(2420)^{0}\bar{D}^{0} + c.c., D_{1}(2420)^{0}\to D^{*+}π^{-}$ is reported. Evidence for $e^{+}e^{-}\to D_{1}(2420)^{+}D^{-} +~c.c., D_{1}(2420)^{+}\to D^{+}π^{+}π^{-}$ is reported with statistical significance of 3.1$σ$ and 3.0$σ$ at $\sqrt{s}$ = 4.36 and 4.42 GeV, respectively.

We study the $e^+e^-\toγωJ/ψ$ process using $11.6 ~\rm fb^{-1}$ $e^+ e^-$ annihilation data taken at center-of-mass energies from $\sqrt{s}=4.008~\rm GeV$ to $4.600~\rm GeV$ with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. The $X(3872)$ resonance is observed for the first time in the $ωJ/ψ$ system with a significance of more than $5σ$. The relative decay ratio of $X(3872)\toωJ/ψ$ and $π^+π^- J/ψ$ is measured to be $\mathcal{R}=1.6^{+0.4}_{-0.3}\pm0.2$, where the first error is statistical and the second systematic (the same hereafter). The $\sqrt{s}$-dependent cross section of $e^+e^-\toγX(3872)$ is also measured and investigated, and it can be described by a single Breit-Wigner resonance, referred to as the $Y(4200)$, with a mass of $4200.6^{+7.9}_{-13.3}\pm3.0~{\rm MeV}/c^2$ and a width of $115^{+38}_{-26}\pm12~{\rm MeV}$. In addition, to describe the $ωJ/ψ$ mass distribution above $3.9~\rm GeV/c^2$, we need at least one additional Breit-Wigner resonance, labeled as $X(3915)$, in the fit. The mass and width of the $X(3915)$ are measured to be $3926.4\pm2.2\pm1.2~\rm MeV/c^2$ and $3.8\pm7.5\pm2.6~\rm MeV$, or $3932.6\pm8.7\pm4.7~\rm MeV/c^2$ and $59.7\pm15.5\pm3.7~\rm MeV$, respectively, depending on the fit models. The resonant parameters of the $X(3915)$ agree with those of the $Y(3940)$ in $B\to KωJ/ψ$ and of the $X(3915)$ in $γγ\toωJ/ψ$ by the Belle and BABAR experiments within errors.

Using an $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.19~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ and collected at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 4.178~\mathrm{GeV}$ with the BESIII detector, we measure the absolute branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{S}^{0}K^{+}) = (1.425\pm0.038_{\rm stat.}\pm0.031_{\rm syst.})\%$ and $\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{L}^{0}K^{+}) =(1.485\pm0.039_{\rm stat.}\pm0.046_{\rm syst.})\%$. The branching fraction of $D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{S}^{0}K^{+}$ is compatible with the world average and that of $D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{L}^{0}K^{+}$ is measured for the first time. We present the first measurement of the $K_{S}^{0}$-$K_{L}^{0}$ asymmetry in the decays $D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{S,L}^{0}K^{+}$, and $R(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{S,L}^{0}K^{+})=\frac{\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{S}^{0}K^{+}) -\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{L}^{0}K^{+})}{\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{S}^{0}K^{+}) +\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K_{L}^{0}K^{+})}= (-2.1\pm1.9_{\rm stat.}\pm1.6_{\rm syst.})\%$. In addition, we measure the direct $CP$ asymmetries $A_{\rm CP}(D_{s}^{\pm} \rightarrow K_{S}^{0}K^{\pm}) = (0.6\pm2.8_{\rm stat.}\pm0.6_{\rm syst.})\%$ and $A_{\rm CP}(D_{s}^{\pm} \rightarrow K_{L}^{0}K^{\pm}) = (-1.1\pm2.6_{\rm stat.}\pm0.6_{\rm syst.})\%$.

We present the first amplitude analysis of the decay $D^{+}_{s} \rightarrow π^{+}π^{0}η$. We use an $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.19~${\mbox{\,fb}^{-1}}$ collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of $4.178$ GeV. We observe for the first time the pure $W$-annihilation decays $D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{+}π^{0}$ and $D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{0}π^{+}$. We measure the absolute branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{+(0)}π^{0^(+)}, a_{0}(980)^{+(0)} \to π^{+(0)}η) = (1.46\pm0.15_{\rm stat.}\pm0.23_{\rm sys.})$\%, which is larger than the branching fractions of other measured pure $W$-annihilation decays by at least one order of magnitude. In addition, we measure the branching fraction of $D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow π^{+}π^{0}η$ with significantly improved precision.

The cross section of the process $e^+e^- \rightarrow ωχ_{c0}$ is measured at center-of-mass energies from $\sqrt{s} =$ 4.178 to 4.278 GeV using a data sample of 7 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. The dependence of the cross section on $\sqrt{s}$ shows a resonant structure with mass of $(4218.5\pm1.6(\text{stat.})\pm4.0(\text{syst.}))$ MeV/$c^2$ and width of $(28.2\pm3.9(\text{stat.})\pm1.6(\text{syst.}))$ MeV, respectively. This observation confirms and improves upon the result of a previous study. The angular distribution of the $e^+e^- \rightarrow ωχ_{c0}$ process is extracted for the first time.

Using a data sample of $4.48\times10^{8}$ $\psip$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we present a first observation of $ψ(3686)\to p\bar{p}φ$, and we measure its branching fraction to be $[6.06\pm0.38 ($stat.$) \pm 0.48 ($syst.$)]\times10^{-6}$. In contrast to the earlier discovery of a threshold enhancement in the $p\bar{p}$-mass spectrum of the channel $J/ψ\toγp\bar p$, denoted as $X(p\bar{p})$, we do not find a similar enhancement in $ψ(3686)\to p\bar{p}φ$. An upper limit of $1.82\times10^{-7}$ at the $90\%$ confidence level on the branching fraction of $ψ(3686)\to X(p\bar{p})φ\to p\bar{p}φ$ is obtained.

Based on a sample of $(1310.6 \pm 7.0) \times 10^6~J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we present measurements of $J/ψ$ and $η^\prime$ absolute branching fractions using the process $J/ψ\rightarrowγη^\prime$. By analyzing events where the radiative photon converts into an $e^+e^-$ pair, the branching fraction for $J/ψ\rightarrow γη^\prime$ is measured to be $(5.27\pm0.03\pm0.05)\times 10^{-3}$. The absolute branching fractions of the five dominant decay channels of the $η^\prime$ are then measured independently for the first time and are determined to be $\mathcal{B}(η^\prime \rightarrow γπ^{+} π^{-})$ = (29.90$\pm$0.03$\pm$0.55)%, $\mathcal{B}(η^\prime \rightarrow ηπ^{+} π^{-})$ = (41.24$\pm$0.08$\pm$1.24)%, $\mathcal{B}(η^\prime \rightarrow ηπ^{0} π^{0})$ = (21.36$\pm$0.10$\pm$0.92)%, $\mathcal{B}(η^\prime \rightarrow γω)$ = (2.489$\pm$0.018$\pm$0.074)%, and $\mathcal{B}(η^\prime \rightarrow γγ)$ = (2.331$\pm$0.012$\pm$0.035)%, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.

The Born cross section for the process $e^+ e^- \to p \bar p $ is measured using the initial state radiation technique with an undetected photon. This analysis is based on datasets corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.5 fb$^{-1}$, collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider at center of mass energies between 3.773 and 4.600 GeV. The Born cross section for the process $e^+ e^- \to p \bar p $ and the proton effective form factor are determined in the $p\bar p$ invariant mass range between 2.0 and 3.8 GeV/$c^2$ divided into 30 intervals. The proton form factor ratio ($|G_E|/|G_M|$) is measured in 3 intervals of the $p\bar p$ invariant mass between 2.0 and 3.0 GeV/$c^2$.

Using $4.48 \times 10^{8}$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we search for the decays $χ_{cJ} \rightarrow μ^{+}μ^{-}J/ψ$ through the radiative decays $ψ(3686) \rightarrow γχ_{cJ}$, where $J=0,1,2$. The decays $χ_{c1,2} \rightarrow μ^{+}μ^{-}J/ψ$ are observed, and the corresponding branching fractions are measured to be $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1} \rightarrow μ^{+}μ^{-}J/ψ) = (2.51 \pm 0.18 \pm 0.20)\times10^{-4}$ and $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c2} \rightarrow μ^{+}μ^{-}J/ψ) = (2.33 \pm 0.18 \pm 0.29)\times10^{-4}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second one systematic. No significant $χ_{c0} \rightarrow μ^{+}μ^{-}J/ψ$ decay is observed, and the upper limit on the branching fraction is determined to be $2.0\times10^{-5}$ at 90% confidence level. Also, we present a study of di-muon invariant mass dependent transition form factor for the decays $χ_{c1,2} \rightarrow μ^{+}μ^{-}J/ψ$.

Using a total of $9.0~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data with center-of-mass energies between 4.15 and 4.30 GeV collected by the BESIII detector, we search for the processes $e^+e^-\to γX(3872)$ with $X(3872)\toπ^0χ_{cJ}$ for $J=0,1,2$. We report the first observation of $X(3872)\toπ^{0}χ_{c1}$, a new decay mode of the $X(3872)$, with a statistical significance of more than 5$σ$. Normalizing to the previously established process $e^+e^-\to γX(3872)$ with $X(3872)\toπ^+π^-J/ψ$, we find ${\cal B}(X(3872) \to π^0 χ_{c1})/{\cal B}(X(3872) \to π^+π^- J/ψ) = 0.88^{+0.33}_{-0.27}\pm0.10$, where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. We set 90% confidence level upper limits on the corresponding ratios for the decays to $π^0χ_{c0}$ and $π^0χ_{c2}$ of 19 and 1.1, respectively.

We report a study of the decay $D^0 \rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-e^+ν_{e}$ based on a sample of $2.93~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The total branching fraction is determined to be $\mathcal{B}(D^0\rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-e^+ν_{e})=(1.434\pm0.029({\rm stat.})\pm0.032({\rm syst.}))\%$, which is the most precise to date. According to a detailed analysis of the involved dynamics, we find this decay is dominated with the $K^{*}(892)^-$ contribution and present an improved measurement of its branching fraction to be $\mathcal{B}(D^0\rightarrow K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)=(2.033\pm0.046({\rm stat.})\pm0.047({\rm syst.}))\%$. We further access their hadronic form-factor ratios for the first time as $r_{V}=V(0)/A_1(0)=1.46\pm0.07({\rm stat.})\pm0.02({\rm syst.})$ and $r_{2}=A_2(0)/A_1(0)=0.67\pm0.06({\rm stat.})\pm0.01({\rm syst.})$. In addition, we observe a significant $\bar{K}^0π^-$ $S$-wave component accounting for $(5.51\pm0.97({\rm stat.})\pm0.62({\rm syst.}))\%$ of the total decay rate.

Using a sample of $1.31\times 10^9$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we report the first observation of spin polarization of $Λ$ and $\barΛ$ hyperons from the coherent production in the $J/ψ\toΛ\barΛ$ decay. We measure the phase between the hadronic form factors to be $ΔΦ=(42.4\pm0.6\pm0.5)^\circ$. The decay parameters for $Λ\to pπ^-$ ($α_-$), $\barΛ\to\bar pπ^+$ ($α_+$) and $\barΛ\to\bar nπ^0$ ($\barα_0$) are measured to be $α_-=0.750\pm0.009\pm0.004$, $α_+=-0.758\pm0.010\pm0.007$ and $\barα_0=-0.692\pm0.016\pm0.006$, respectively. The obtained value of $α_-$ is higher by $(17\pm 3)\%$ than the current world average. In addition, the $CP$ asymmetry of $-0.006\pm0.012\pm0.007$ is extracted with substantially improved precision. The ratio $\barα_0/α_{+} = 0.913\pm 0.028 \pm 0.012$ is also measured.
