Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope Coronagraph Instrument Overview and Status
Abstract: The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope Coronagraph Instrument is a critical technology demonstrator for NASA's Habitable Worlds Observatory. With a predicted visible-light flux ratio detection limit of 1E-8 or better, it will be capable of reaching new areas of parameter space for both gas giant exoplanets and circumstellar disks. It is in the final stages of integration and test at the Jet Propuls… ▽ More

Laboratory Demonstration of Spatial Linear Dark Field Control For Imaging Extrasolar Planets in Reflected Light
Abstract: Imaging planets in reflected light, a key focus of future NASA missions and ELTs, requires advanced wavefront control to maintain a deep, temporally correlated null of stellar halo -- i.e. a dark hole -- at just several diffraction beam widths. Using the Ames Coronagraph Experiment testbed, we present the first laboratory tests of Spatial Linear Dark Field Control (LDFC) approaching raw contrasts… ▽ More

A study of Holomorphic Semigroups
Abstract: In this paper, we investigate some characteristic features of holomorphic semigroups. In particular, we investigate nice examples of holomorphic semigroups whose every left or right ideal includes minimal ideal. These examples are compact topological holomorphic semigroups and examples of compact topological holomorphic semigroups are the spaces of ultrafilters of semigroups.

Fast Esca** Set of Transcendental Semigroup
Abstract: In this paper, we study fast esca** set of transcendental semigroup. We discuss some the structure and properties of fast esca** set of transcendental semigroup. We also see how far the classical theory of fast esca** set of transcendental entire function applies to general settings of transcendental semigroups and what new phenomena can occur.

A Study of Fatou Set, Julia set and Esca** Set in Conjugate Transcendental Semigroup
Abstract: We define commutator of a transcendental semigroup, and on the basis of this concept, we define conjugate semigroup. We prove that the conjugate semigroup is nearly abelian if and only if the given semigroup is nearly abelian. We also prove that image of each of esca** set, Julia set and Fatou set under commutator (affine complex conjugating maps) is equal to respectively esca** set, Julia set… ▽ More

A Study of Fatou Set, Julia set and Esca** Set in Nearly Abelian Transcendental Semigroup
Abstract: We mainly generalize the notion of abelian transcendental semigroup to nearly abelian transcendental semigroup. We prove that Fatou set, Julia set and esca** set of nearly abelian transcendental semigroup are completely invariant. We investigate no wandering domain theorem in such a transcendental semigroup. We also obtain results on a complete generalization of the classification of periodic Fa… ▽ More

Fatou Set, Julia Set and Esca** Set in Holomorphic Subsemigroup Dynamics
Abstract: We investigate to what extent Fatou set, Julia set and esca** set of transcendental semigroup is respectively equal to the Fatou set, Julia set and esca** set of its subsemigroup. We define partial fundamental set and fundamental set of transcendental semigroup and on the basis of this set, we prove that Fatou set and esca** set of transcendental semigroup $ S $ are non-empty.

Completely Invariant Esca** Set of Transcendental Semigroup
Abstract: For a non-trivial transcendental semigroup, esca** set I(S) is in general S-forward invariant and it is S-completely invariant if semigroup S is abelian. In the contrary of this result, we investigate completely invariant esca** set K(S) in different way even if semigroup S is not abelian and we discuss some properties and structure of such type of esca** set. Also, we establish some relatio… ▽ More

On Completely Invariant Julia Sets of Trascendental Semigroups
Abstract: In holomorphic semigroup dynamics, Julia set is in general backward invariant and so some fundamental results of classical complex dynamics can not be generalized to semigroup dynamics. In this paper, we define completely invariant Julia set of transcendental semigroup and we see how far the results of classical transcendental dynamics generalized to transcendental semigroup dynamics.

Esca** Set of Hyperbolic Semigroup
Abstract: In this paper, we mainly study hyperbolic semigroups from which we get non-empty esca** set and Eremenko's conjecture remains valid. We prove that if each generator of bounded type transcendental semigroup S is hyperbolic, then the semigroup is itself hyperbolic and all components of I(S) are unbounded

Dynamics on the Wandering Components of the Fatou Set of Three Transcendental Entire Functions and Their Composites
Abstract: We prove that there exist three transcendental entire functions that have infinite number of domains which lie in the wandering component of each of these functions and their composites. This result is a generalization of the result of Dinesh Kumar, Gopal Datt and Sanjay Kumar. In particular, they proved that there exist two transcendental entire functions that have infinite number of domains whic… ▽ More

A Short Comparison of Classical Complex Dynamics and Holomorphic Semigroup Dynamics
Abstract: This is an expository plus research paper which mainly exposes preliminary connection and contrast between classical complex dynamics and semigroup dynamics of holomorphic functions. Classically, we expose some existing results of rational and transcendental dynamics and we see how far these results generalized to holomorphic semigroup dynamics as well as we also see what new phenomena occur.

Coronagraph-Integrated Wavefront Sensing with a Sparse Aperture Mask
Abstract: Stellar coronagraph performance is highly sensitive to optical aberrations. In order to effectively suppress starlight for exoplanet imaging applications, low-order wavefront aberrations entering a coronagraph such as tip-tilt, defocus and coma must be determined and compensated. Previous authors have established the utility of pupil-plane masks (both non-redundant/sparse-aperture and generally as… ▽ More
