The celestial $Lw_{1+\infty}$ symmetries in asymptotically flat spacetimes have a natural geometric interpretation on twistor space in terms of Poisson diffeomorphisms. Using this framework, we provide a first-principle derivation of the canonical generators associated with these symmetries starting from the Poisson BF twistor action for self-dual gravity. We express these charges as surface integrals over the celestial sphere in terms of spacetime data at null infinity. The connection between twistor space and spacetime expressions at $\mathscr{I}$ is achieved via an integral formula for the asymptotic Bianchi identities due to Bramson and Tod. Finally, we clarify how $Lw_{1+\infty}$ transformations are symmetries of gravity from a phase space perspective by showing the invariance of the asymptotic Bianchi identities.

Carrollian amplitudes are flat space amplitudes written in position space at null infinity which can be re-interpreted as correlators in a putative dual Carrollian CFT. We argue that these amplitudes are the natural objects obtained in the flat space limit of AdS Lorentzian boundary correlators. The flat limit is taken entirely in position space by introducing Bondi coordinates in the bulk. From the bulk perspective, this procedure makes it manifest that the flat limit of any Witten diagram is the corresponding flat space Feynman diagram. It also makes explicit the fact that the flat limit in the bulk is implemented by a Carrollian limit at the boundary. We systematically analyse tree-level two, three and four-point correlators. Familiar features such as the distributional nature of Carrollian amplitudes and the presence of a bulk point singularity arise naturally as a consequence of requiring a finite and non-trivial Carrollian limit.

Conformally soft operators and their associated soft theorems on the celestial sphere encode the low energy behaviour of bulk scattering amplitudes. They lead to an infinite dimensional symmetry algebra of the celestial CFT at tree-level. In this paper, we introduce new operators in the celestial CFT in order to extend the definition of conformally soft currents to include one-loop effects. We then compute their OPEs with other operators in the theory. We also examine new subtleties that arise in defining OPEs of two conformally soft operators. We elucidate the connection between the new operators and loop corrected soft theorems in the bulk. Finally, we conclude by demonstrating how these operators fit into the framework of a logarithmic CFT.

Carrollian holography aims to express gravity in four-dimensional asymptotically flat spacetime in terms of a dual three-dimensional Carrollian CFT living at null infinity. Carrollian amplitudes are massless scattering amplitudes written in terms of asymptotic or null data at $\mathscr I$. These position space amplitudes at $\mathscr I$ are to be re-interpreted as correlation functions in the putative dual Carrollian CFT. We derive basic results concerning tree-level Carrollian amplitudes yielding dynamical constraints on the holographic dual. We obtain surprisingly compact expressions for $n$-point MHV gluon and graviton amplitudes in position space at $\mathscr I$. We discuss the UV/IR behaviours of Carrollian amplitudes and investigate their collinear limit, which allows us to define a notion of Carrollian OPE. By smearing the OPE along the generators of null infinity, we obtain the action of the celestial symmetries - namely, the $S$ algebra for Yang-Mills theory and $Lw_{1+\infty}$ for gravity - on the Carrollian operators. As a consistency check, we systematically relate our results with celestial amplitudes using the link between the two approaches. Finally, we initiate a direct connection between twistor space and Carrollian amplitudes.

Abstract:
In this paper we study the simplifying effects of supersymmetry on celestial OPEs at both tree and loop level. We find at tree level that theories with unbroken supersymmetry around a stable vacuum have celestial soft current algebras satisfying the Jacobi identity, and we show at one loop that celestial OPEs in these theories have no double poles.

Such correlators of gravitons are well-defined and do not suffer from divergences associated with the Mellin transform of usual graviton amplitudes. Moreover, they are non-distributional and take the form of standard CFT correlators. We show that they are consistent with the usual OPEs but the statement of the soft theorem is modified.

We show that associativity of the tree-level OPE in a celestial CFT imposes constraints on the coupling constants of the corresponding bulk theory. These constraints are the same as those derived in arXiv:2111.11356 from the Jacobi identity of the algebra of soft modes. The constrained theories are interesting as apparently well-defined celestial CFTs with a deformed $w_{1+\infty}$ symmetry algebra. We explicitly work out the ramifications of these constraints on scattering amplitudes involving gluons, gravitons and scalars in these theories. We find that all four-point amplitudes constructible solely from holomorphic or anti-holomorphic three-point amplitudes vanish on the support of these constraints, which implies that all purely holomorphic or purely anti-holomorphic higher-point amplitudes vanish.

These spherical contours can be used to develop a Feynman parameter space analog of "Leading Singularities" of loop integrands which allows us to develop a method of determining Feynman parameter integrands with no reference to the momentum space loop integrand. The definition of the amplituhedron in terms of sign flips involves both one-loop constraints and the "mutual positivity" constraint. To gain an understanding of the all-loop integrand of $\mathcal{N}=4$ sYM requires understanding the crucial role played by mutual positivity. This paper is an attempt towards develo** a procedure to introduce the complexities of mutual positivity in a systematic and controlled manner. As the first step in this procedure, we trivialize these constraints and understand the geometry underlying the remaining constraints to all loops and multiplicities. We present a host of configurations which correspond to various faces of the amplituhedron. The results we derive are valid at all multiplicities and loop orders for the maximally helicity violating (MHV) configurations. These include detailed derivations for the results in arXiv:1810.08208 [hep-th]. We conclude by indicating how one might move beyond trivial mutual positivity by presenting a series of configuration which re-introduce it bit by bit.

In this letter we compute a canonical set of cuts of the integrand for MHV amplitudes in planar ${\cal N}=4$ SYM, where all internal propagators are put on-shell. These "deepest cuts" probe the most complicated Feynman diagrams and on-shell processes that can possibly contribute to the amplitude, but are also naturally associated with remarkably simple geometric facets of the amplituhedron. The recent reformulation of the amplituhedron in terms of combinatorial geometry directly in the kinematic (momentum-twistor) space plays a crucial role in understanding this geometry and determining the cut. This provides us with the first non-trivial results on scattering amplitudes in the theory valid for arbitrarily many loops and external particle multiplicities.
