In this Letter we have shown that, from the standard thermodynamic functions, the mathematical form of an equipartition theorem may be related to the algebraic expression of a particular entropy initially chosen to describe the black hole thermodynamics. Namely, we have different equipartition expressions for distinct statistics. To this end, four different mathematical expressions for the entropy have been selected to demonstrate our objective. Furthermore, a possible phase transition is observed in the heat capacity behavior of the Tsallis and Cirto entropy model.

Abstract:
It is argued that, using the black hole area entropy law together with the Boltzmann-Gibbs statistical mechanics and the quasinormal modes of the black holes, it is possible to determine univocally the lowest possible value for the spin $j$ in the context of the Loop Quantum Gravity theory which is $j_{min}=1$. Consequently, the value of Immirzi parameter is given by $γ= \ln 3/(2π\sqrt{2})$. In this paper, we have shown that if we use Tsallis microcanonical entropy rather than Boltzmann-Gibbs framework then the minimum value of the label $j$ depends on the nonextensive $q$-parameter and may have values other than $j_{min}=1$.

The Saha equation provides the relation between two consecutive ionization state populations, like the Maxwell-Boltzmann velocity distribution of the atoms in a gas ensemble. Saha equation can also consider the partitions functions for both states and its main application is in stellar astrophysics population statistics. This paper presents two non-Gaussian thermostatistical generalizations for the Saha equation: the first one towards the Tsallis nonextensive $q$-entropy and the other one is based upon Kaniadakis $κ$-statistics. Both thermostatistical formalisms are very successful when used in several complex astrophysical statistical systems and we have demonstrated here that they work also in Saha's ionization distribution. We have obtained new chemical $q$-potentials and their respective graphical regions with a well defined boundary that separated the two symmetric intervals for the $q$-potentials. The asymptotic behavior of the $q$-potential was also discussed. Besides the proton-electron, we have also investigated the complex atoms and pair production ionization reactions.

The present work is based on a description for the angular mometum loss rate due to magnetic braking for main-sequence stars on the relationship between stellar rotation and age. In general, this loss rate denoted by $\mathrm dJ/\mathrm dt$ depends on angular velocity $Ω$ in the form $\mathrm dJ/\mathrm dt\proptoΩ^{q}$, where $q$ is a parameter extracted from nonextensive statistical mechanics. Already, in context of stellar rotation, this parameter is greater than unity and it is directly related to the braking index. For $q$ equal to unity, the scenario of saturation of the magnetic field is recovered, otherwise $q$ indicates an unsaturated field. This new approach have been proposed and investigated by de Freitas \& De Medeiros for unsaturated field stars. In present work, we propose a nonextensive approach for the stellar rotational evolution based on the Reiners \& Mohanthy model. In this sense, we developed a nonextensive version of Reiners \& Mohanthy torque and also compare this generalized version with the model proposed in de Freitas \& De Medeiros based on the spin-down Kawaler torque for the main-sequence stars with F and G spectral types. We use the same sample of $\sim16 000$ field stars with rotational velocity $v \sin i$ limited in age and mass. As a result, we show that the Kawaler and Reiners \& Mohanthy models exhibit strong discrepancies, mainly in relation to the domain of validity of the entropic index $q$. These discrepancies are mainly due to sensitivity on the stellar radius. Finally, our results showed that modified Kawaler prescription is compatible with a wider mass range, while the Reiners \& Mohanty model is restricted to masses less than G6 stars.

According to the statistical law of large numbers, the expected mean of identically distributed random variables of a sample tends toward the actual mean as the sample increases. Under this law, it is possible to test the Chandrasekhar's relation (CR), <V>=(π/4)^{-1}<Vsini>, using a large amount of <Vsini> and V data from different samples of similar stars. In this context, we conducted a statistical test to check the consistency of the CR in the Kepler field. In order to achieve this, we use three large samples of V obtained from Kepler rotation periods and a homogeneous control sample of <Vsini> to overcome the scarcity of <Vsini> data for stars in the Kepler field. We used the bootstrap-resampling method to estimate the mean rotations (<V> and <Vsini>) and their corresponding confidence intervals for the stars segregated by effective temperature. Then, we compared the estimated means to check the consistency of CR, and analyzed the influence of the uncertainties in radii measurements, and possible selection effects. We found that the CR with <Vsini>=π/4 is consistent with the behavior of the <V> as a function of <Vsini> for stars from the Kepler field as there is a very good agreement between such a relation and the data.

Time-dependent nonextensivity in a stellar astrophysical scenario combines nonextensive entropic indices $q_{K}$ derived from the modified Kawaler's parametrization, and $q$, obtained from rotational velocity distribution. Time-dependent nonextensivity in a stellar astrophysical scenario combines nonextensive entropic indices $q_{K}$ derived from the modified Kawaler's parametrization, and $q$, obtained from rotational velocity distribution. These $q$'s are related through a heuristic single relation given by $q\approx q_{0}(1-Δt/q_{K})$, where $t$ is the cluster age. In a nonextensive scenario, these indices are quantities that measure the degree of nonextensivity present in the system. Recent studies reveal that the index $q$ is correlated to the formation rate of high-energy tails present in the distribution of rotation velocity. On the other hand, the index $q_{K}$ is determined by the stellar rotation-age relationship. This depends on the magnetic field configuration through the expression $q_{K}=1+4aN/3$, where $a$ and $N$ denote the saturation level of the star magnetic field and its topology, respectively. In the present study, we show that the connection $q-q_{K}$ is also consistent with 548 rotation period data for single main-sequence stars in 11 Open Clusters aged less than 1 Gyr. The value of $q_{K}\sim$ 2.5 from our unsaturated model shows that the mean magnetic field topology of these stars is slightly more complex than a purely radial field. Our results also suggest that stellar rotational braking behavior affects the degree of anti-correlation between $q$ and cluster age $t$. Finally, we suggest that stellar magnetic braking can be scaled by the entropic index $q$.

Nonextensive formalism is a generalization of the Boltzmann-Gibbs statistics. In this formalism the entropic index q is a quantity characterizing the degree of nonextensivity, and is interpreted as a parameter of long-memory or long-range interactions between the components of the system. Since its proposition in 1988, this formalism has been applied to investigate a wide variety of natural phenomena. In stellar astrophysics, theoretical distribution function based on nonextensive formalism (q-distributions) has been successfully applied to reproduce the distribution of stellar radial and rotational velocity data. In this paper, we investigate the time variation of the entropic index q obtained from the distribution of rotation, Vsini, for a sample of 254 rotational data for solar-type stars from 11 open clusters aged between 35.5Myr and 2.6Gyr. As a result, we have found an anti-correlation between the entropic index q and the age of clusters, and that the distribution of rotation Vsini for these stars becomes extensive for an age greater than about 170Myr. Assuming that the parameter q is associated with long-memory effects, we suggest that the memory of the initial angular momentum of solar-type stars can be scaled by the entropic index q. We also propose a physical link between the parameter q and the magnetic braking of stellar rotation.

In addition, the value of the parameter q obtained from the distribution of observed rotations reinforces the idea that there is a relation between this parameter and the age of the cluster.
