Femtoscopy studies of pion radiation in heavy-ion collisions have been conducted extensively at all available collider energies, both theoretically and experimentally. In all these studies a special interest is given to $m_{T}$ dependency of pion femtoscopy radii, usually approximated by a power-law function at transverse momenta above 200~MeV/$c$. However, the radii behaviour has been much less explored for the ultra-soft pions, possessing the transverse momentum comparable to or lower than the pion mass. For many experimental setups this region is difficult to measure. In this work we present theoretical calculations of pion emission in the ultra-soft region in the two hybrid models -- iHKM and LHYQUID+THERMINATOR2. Along with the particle transverse momentum spectra, we present the calculated femtoscopy radii, both in one-dimensional and three-dimensional representations. We investigate the radii dependence on pair $m_{T}$ and observe, in particular, a departure from the power-law behaviour at ultra-soft momenta, potentially reflecting a decoupling of such slow pions from the rest of collectively expanding system. We provide the theoretical interpretation of this result and discuss its significance, in particular, for the ongoing non-identical particle femtoscopy analysis for pairs consisting of a pion and a baryon (or of a pion and a charmed meson).

The analysis of the spatiotemporal picture of particle radiation in relativistic heavy-ion collisions in terms of correlation femtoscopy scales, emission and source functions allows one to probe the character of evolution of the system created in the collision. Realistic models, like the integrated hydrokinetic model (iHKM), used in the present work, are able to simulate the entire evolution process of strongly interacting matter produced in high-energy nuclear collision. The mentioned model describes all the stages of the system's evolution, including formation of the very initial state and its consequent gradual thermalization, hydrodynamic expansion and afterburner hadronic cascade, that can help researchers to figure out the specific details of the process and better understand the formation mechanisms of certain observables. In the current paper we investigate the behavior of the pion and kaon interferometry radii and their connection with emission functions in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider within iHKM. We are focusing on the study of the emission time scales at different energies for both particle species (pions and kaons) aiming to get deeper insight into relation of these scales and the peculiarities of the mentioned system's collective expansion and decay with the experimentally observed femtoscopy radii. One of our main interests is the problem of the total system's lifetime estimation based on the femtoscopy analysis.

The one- and two-boson momentum spectra are derived in the quantum local-equilibrium canonical ensemble of noninteracting bosons with a fixed particle number constraint. We define the canonical ensemble as a subensemble of events associated with the grand-canonical ensemble. Applying simple hydro-inspired parametrization with parameter values that correspond roughly to the values at the system's breakup in $p+p$ collisions at the LHC energies, we compare our findings with the treatment which is based on the grand-canonical ensembles where mean particle numbers coincide with fixed particle numbers in the canonical ensembles. We observe a significantly greater sensitivity of the two-particle momentum correlation functions to fixed multiplicity constraint compared to one-particle momentum spectra. The results of our analysis may be useful for interpretation of multiplicity-dependent measurements of $p+p$ collision events.

A simple method for the extraction of the times of maximal emission for kaons and pions using the combined fitting of their transverse momentum spectra and the longitudinal interferometry radii dependencies on the pair transverse mass $m_T$ is applied to Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC energy $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=5.02$ TeV. The method is based on the analytical formulas, that were earlier successfully utilized in the studies of Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=2.76$ TeV. To test the method, the spectra, radii and particle radiation picture are calculated within the integrated hydrokinetic model (iHKM), that includes all the stages of the matter evolution in high-energy A+A collisions: the system's formation, its thermalization, viscous hydrodynamics evolution, particlization and subsequent hadronic cascade. The model describes and predicts well already published LHC data in "soft physics? kinematic region. Thus, the fitting results for maximal emission times of kaons and pions are compared to the approximate maximal emission time values, estimated based on the emission function plots, obtained in iHKM. The developed simple method is intended for use in experimental analysis of femtoscopy data in relativistic A+A collisions.

Two-particle momentum correlations of $N$ identical bosons are studied in the quantum canonical ensemble. We define the latter as a properly selected subensemble of events associated with the grand canonical ensemble which is characterized by a constant temperature and a harmonic-trap chemical potential. The merits of this toy model are that it can be solved exactly, and that it demonstrates some interesting features revealed recently in small systems created in $p+p$ collisions at the LHC. We find that partial coherence can be observed in particle emission from completely thermal ensembles of events if instead of inclusive measurements one studies the two-boson distribution functions related to the events with particle numbers selected in some fixed multiplicity bins. The corresponding coherence effects increase with the multiplicity.

The spectra and correlation of identical particles emitted from small local-equilibrium sources are considered. The size of the system is defined by the negative part of the parabolic falling chemical potential. The analytical solution of the problem is found for the case of inclusive measurements. It is shown that in the case where the size of the system is comparable to the thermal wavelength of the particles, the spectra and correlation functions are far from the quasiclassical approximation expected for large systems, and observed femtoscopy scales (interferometry radii) will be essentially smaller than the Gaussian radii of the source. If the maximum value of the chemical potential approaches the critical one, specific for the system, one can consider the possibility of the Bose-Einstein condensation. In such a case the reduction of the intercept of the correlation function for inclusive measurements takes place. The results can be used for the searching of femtoscopy homogeneity lengths in proton-proton collisions at LHC energies.

Experiments detect the strong centrality dependence of photon elliptic and triangular flow as increasing $v_n(p_T)$-coefficients towards peripheral collisions. The photon production in the model is accumulated from the different sources along with the process of relativistic heavy ion collision develo**. Those include the primary hard photons from the parton collisions at the very early stage of the process, the photons generated at the pre-thermal phase of dense matter evolution, then thermal photons at partially equilibrated hydrodynamic quark-gluon stage, together with radiation displaying a confinement and, finally, from the hadron gas phase. Along the way a hadronic medium evolution is treated in two distinct, in a sense opposite, approaches: chemically equilibrium and chemically non-equilibrium, namely, chemically frozen expansion. We find the description of direct photon spectra, elliptic and triangular flow are significantly improved, similar to that found in iHKM for the LHC energies, if an additional portion of photon radiation associated with the confinement processes, the "hadronization photons", is included into consideration.

Of particular interest is the possibility to direct a neutrino beam from Protvino towards the KM3NeT/ORCA detector, which is currently under construction in the Mediterranean Sea 40 km offshore Toulon, France. This proposal is known as P2O. Thanks to its baseline of 2595 km, this experiment would yield an unparalleled sensitivity to matter effects in the Earth, allowing for the determination of the neutrino mass ordering with a high level of certainty after only a few years of running at a modest beam intensity of $\approx$ 90 kW. With a prolonged exposure ($\approx$ 1500 kW*yr), a 2$σ$ sensitivity to the leptonic CP-violating Dirac phase can be achieved. A second stage of the experiment, comprising a further intensity upgrade of the accelerator complex and a densified version of the ORCA detector (Super-ORCA), would allow for up to a 6$σ$ sensitivity to CP violation and a 10$^\circ$-17$^\circ$ resolution on the CP phase after 10 years of running with a 450 kW beam, competitive with other planned experiments. The initial composition and energy spectrum of the neutrino beam would need to be monitored by a near detector, to be constructed several hundred meters downstream from the proton beam target. The same neutrino beam and near detector set-up would also allow for neutrino-nucleus cross section measurements to be performed. A short-baseline sterile neutrino search experiment would also be possible.

The photon transverse momentum spectrum and its anisotropy from Pb+Pb collisions at the CERN Large Hadron Collider energy $\sqrt {s_{NN}}=2.76$ TeV are investigated within the integrated hydrokinetic model (iHKM). Photon production is accumulated from the different processes at the various stages of relativistic heavy ion collisions: from the primary hard photons of very early stage of parton collisions to the thermal photons from equilibrated quark-gluon and hadron gas stages. Along the way a hadronic medium evolution is treated in two distinct, in a sense opposite, approaches: chemically equilibrated and chemically frozen system expansion. Studying the centrality dependence of the results obtained allows us to conclude that a relatively strong transverse momentum anisotropy of thermal radiation is suppressed by prompt photon emission which is an isotropic. We find out that this effect is getting stronger as centrality increases because of the simultaneous increase in the relative contribution of prompt photons in the soft part of the spectra. The substantial results obtained in iHKM with nonzero viscosity ($η/s=0.08$) for photon spectra and $v_2$ coefficients are mostly within the error bars of experimental data, but there is some systematic underestimation of both observables for the near central events. We claim that a situation could be significantly improved if an additional photon radiation that accompanies the presence of a deconfined environment is included. Since a matter of a space-time layer where hadronization takes place is actively involved in anisotropic transverse flow, both positive contributions to the spectra and $v_2$ are considerable, albeit such an argument needs further research and elaboration.

The particle yields and particle number ratios in Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC energy $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=2.76$ TeV are described within the integrated hydrokinetic model (iHKM) at the two different equations of state (EoS) for the quark-gluon matter and the two corresponding hadronization temperatures, $T=165$ MeV and $T=156$ MeV. The role of particle interactions at the final afterburner stage of the collision in the particle production is investigated by means of comparison of the results of full iHKM simulations with those where the annihilation and other inelastic processes (except for resonance decays) are switched off after hadronization/particlization, similarly as in the thermal models. An analysis supports the picture of continuous chemical freeze-out in the sense that the corrections to the sudden chemical freeze-out results, which arise because of the inelastic reactions at the subsequent evolution times, are noticeable and improve the description of particle and number ratios. An important observation is that although the particle number ratios with switched-off inelastic reactions are quite different at different particlization temperatures which are adopted for different equations of state to reproduce experimental data, the complete iHKM calculations bring very close results in both cases.

We calculate one-particle momentum spectra and two-particle Bose-Einstein correlation functions in the ideal gas by using a recurrence relation for the partition function. Within such a model we investigate the validity of the thermal Wick's theorem and its applicability for decomposition of the two-particle distribution function. The dependence of the Bose-Einstein correlation parameters on the average momentum of the particle pair is also investigated. Specifically, we present the analytical formulas that allow one to estimate the effect of suppressing the correlation functions in a finite canonical system. The theoretical analysis of $\bar{p}-Λ\oplus p-\barΛ$ correlation function in 10% most central Au+Au collisions at RHIC energy $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=200$ GeV shows that the contribution of residual correlations is the necessary factor to obtain a satisfactory description of the experimental data. A neglecting of the residual correlation effect, leads to unrealistically low source radius, about 2 times smaller than the corresponding value for $p-Λ\oplus \bar{p}-\barΛ$ case, when one fits the experimental correlation function within Lednicky-Lyuboshitz analytical model. Recently an approach accounting effectively for residual correlations for the baryon-antibaryon correlation function was proposed, and a good RHIC data description was reached with the source radius extracted from the hydrokinetic model (HKM). The $\bar{p}-Λ$ scattering length, as well as the parameters characterizing the residual correlation effect --- annihilation dip amplitude and its inverse width --- were extracted from the corresponding fit. In this paper we use these extracted values and simulated in HKM source functions for Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC energy $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=2.76$ TeV to predict the corresponding $pΛ$ and $p\barΛ$ correlation functions.

A further development of the evolutionary picture of A+A collisions, which we call the integrated HydroKinetic Model (iHKM), is proposed. The model comprises a generator of the initial state GLISSANDO, pre-thermal dynamics of A+A collisions leading to thermalization, subsequent relativistic viscous hydrodynamic expansion of quark-gluon and hadron medium (vHLLE), its particlization, and finally hadronic cascade ultrarelativistic QMD. We calculate mid-rapidity charged-particle multiplicities, pion, kaon, and antiproton spectra, charged-particle elliptic flows, and pion interferometry radii for Pb+Pb collisions at the energies available at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, $\sqrt{s} = 2.76$ TeV, at different centralities. We find that the best description of the experimental data is reached when the initial states are attributed to the very small initial time 0.1 fm/c, the pre-thermal stage (thermalization process) lasts at least until 1 fm/c, and the shear viscosity at the hydrodynamic stage of the matter evolution has its minimal value, $η/s = \frac{1}{4π}$. At the same time it is observed that the various momentum anisotropies of the initial states, different initial and relaxation times, as well as even a treatment of the pre-thermal stage within just viscous or ideal hydrodynamic approach, leads sometimes to worse but nevertheless similar results, if the normalization of maximal initial energy density in most central events is adjusted to reproduce the final hadron multiplicity in each scenario. This can explain a good enough data description in numerous variants of hybrid models without a prethermal stage when the initial energy densities are defined up to a common factor.

The $m_T$-dependencies of the femto-scales, the so-called interferometry and source radii, are investigated within the hydrokinetic model for different types of particle pairs - pion-pion, kaon-kaon, proton-proton and proton-lambda, - produced in Pb+Pb and $p+p$ collisions at the LHC. In particular, such property of the femto-scales momentum behavior as $m_T$-scaling is studied for the systems with (w) and without (w/o) intensive transverse flow, and also w and w/o re-scattering at the final afterburner stage of the matter evolution. The detail spatiotemporal description obtained within hydrokinetic model is compared with the simple analytical results for the spectra and longitudinal interferometry radii depending on the effective temperature on the hypersurface of maximal emission, proper time of such emission, and intensity of transverse flow. The derivation of the corresponding analytical formulas and discussion about a possibility for their utilization by the experimentalists for the simple femtoscopy data analysis is the main aim of this theoretical investigation.

A key ingredient of hydrodynamical modeling of relativistic heavy ion collisions is thermal initial conditions, an input that is the consequence of a pre-thermal dynamics which is not completely understood yet. In the paper we employ a recently developed energy-momentum transport model of the pre-thermal stage to study influence of the alternative initial states in nucleus-nucleus collisions on flow and energy density distributions of the matter at the starting time of hydrodynamics. In particular, the dependence of the results on isotropic and anisotropic initial states is analyzed. It is found that at the thermalization time the transverse flow is larger and the maximal energy density is higher for the longitudinally squeezed initial momentum distributions. The results are also sensitive to the relaxation time parameter, equation of state at the thermalization time, and transverse profile of initial energy density distribution: Gaussian approximation, Glauber Monte Carlo profiles, etc. Also, test results ensure that the numerical code based on the energy-momentum transport model is capable of providing both averaged and fluctuating initial conditions for the hydrodynamic simulations of relativistic nuclear collisions.

The probable reason for this is the neglect of residual correlation effect in the STAR analysis. In the present paper we analyze baryon correlation functions within Lednicky and Lyuboshitz analytical model, extended to effectively account for the residual correlation contribution. Different analytical approximations for such a contribution are considered. We also use the averaged source radii extracted from the hydrokinetic model (HKM) simulations to fit the experimental data. In contrast to the STAR experimental study, the calculations in HKM show both $pΛ$ and $p\barΛ$ radii to be quite close, as expected from theoretical considerations. Using the effective Gaussian parametrization of residual correlations we obtain a satisfactory fit to the measured baryon-antibaryon correlation function with the HKM source radius value 3.28 fm. The baryon-antibaryon spin-averaged strong interaction scattering length is also extracted from the fit to the experimental correlation function.

Hadrons inclusively produced with large pT in high-energy collisions originate from the jets, whose initial virtuality and energy are of the same order, what leads to an extremely intensive gluon radiation and dissipation of energy at the early stage of hadronization. Besides, these jets have a peculiar structure: the main fraction of the jet energy is carried by a single leading hadron, so such jets are very rare. The constraints imposed by energy conservation enforce an early color neutralization and a cease of gluon radiation. The produced colorless dipole does not dissipate energy anymore and is evolving to form the hadron wave function. The small and medium pT region is dominated by the hydrodynamic mechanisms of hadron production from the created hot medium. The abrupt transition between the hydrodynamic and perturbative QCD mechanisms causes distinct minima in the pT dependence of the suppression factor R_{AA} and of the azimuthal asymmetry v2. Combination of these mechanisms allows to describe the data through the full range of pT at different collision energies and centralities.

Despite the fact that a system created in relativistic heavy ion collisions is an isolated quantum system, which cannot increase its entropy in the course of unitary quantum evolution, hydrodynamical analysis of experimental data seems to indicate that the matter formed in the collisions is thermalized very quickly. Based on common consideration of hydrodynamics as an effective theory in the domain of slow- and long-length modes, we discuss the physical mechanisms responsible for the decoherence and emergence of the hydrodynamic behavior in such collisions, and demonstrate how such physical mechanisms work in the case of the scalar field model. We obtain the evolution equation for the Wigner function of a long-wavelength subsystem that describes its decoherence, isotropization, and approach to thermal equilibrium induced by interaction with short-wavelength modes. Our analysis supports the idea that decoherence, quantum-to-classical transition and thermalization in isolated quantum systems are attributed to the experimental context, and are related to a particular procedure of decomposition of the whole quantum system into relevant and irrelevant from an observational viewpoint subsystems.

The 2D azimuth & rapidity structure of the two-particle correlations in relativistic A+A collisions is altered significantly by the presence of sharp inhomogeneities in superdense matter formed in such processes. The causality constraints enforce one to associate the long-range longitudinal correlations observed in a narrow angular interval, the so-called (soft) ridge, with peculiarities of the initial conditions of collision process. This study's objective is to analyze whether multiform initial tubular structures, undergoing the subsequent hydrodynamic evolution and gradual decoupling, can form the soft ridges. Motivated by the flux-tube scenarios, the initial energy density distribution contains the different numbers of high density tube-like boost-invariant inclusions that form a bumpy structure in the transverse plane. The influence of various structures of such initial conditions in the most central A+A events on the collective evolution of matter, resulting spectra, angular particle correlations and v_n-coefficients is studied in the framework of the HydroKinetic Model (HKM).

The three-dimensional pion and kaon emission source functions are extracted from the HKM model simulations of the central Au+Au collisions at the top RHIC energy $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=200$ GeV. The model describes well the experimental data, previously obtained by the PHENIX and STAR collaborations using the imaging technique. In particular, the HKM reproduces the non-Gaussian heavy tails of the source function in the pair transverse momentum (out) and beam (long) directions, observed in the pion case and practically absent for kaons. The role of the rescatterings and long-lived resonances decays in forming of the mentioned long range tails is investigated. The particle rescatterings contribution to the out tail seems to be dominating. The model calculations also show the substantial relative emission times between pions (with mean value 14.5 fm/c in LCMS), including those coming from resonance decays and rescatterings. The prediction is made for the source functions in the LHC Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=2.76$ TeV, which are still not extracted from the measured correlation functions.

A method for quantum corrections of Hanbury-Brown/Twiss (HBT) interferometric radii produced by semi-classical event generators is proposed. These corrections account for the basic indistinguishability and mutual coherence of closely located emitters caused by the uncertainty principle. A detailed analysis is presented for pion interferometry in $p+p$ collisions at LHC energy ($\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV). A prediction is also presented of pion interferometric radii for $p+$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s}=5.02$ TeV. The hydrodynamic/hydrokinetic model with UrQMD cascade as 'afterburner' is utilized for this aim. It is found that quantum corrections to the interferometry radii improve significantly the event generator results which typically overestimate the experimental radii of small systems. A successful description of the interferometry structure of $p+p$ collisions within the corrected hydrodynamic model requires the study of the problem of thermalization mechanism, still a fundamental issue for ultrarelativistic $A+A$ collisions, also for high multiplicity $p+p$ and $p+$Pb events.

The basic principles of the correlation femtoscopy, including its correspondence to the Hanbury Brown and Twiss intensity interferometry, are re-examined. The main subject of the paper is an analysis of the correlation femtoscopy when the source size is as small as the order of the uncertainty limit. It is about 1 fm for the current high energy experiments. Then the standard femtoscopy model of random sources is inapplicable. The uncertainty principle leads to the partial indistinguishability and coherence of closely located emitters that affect the observed femtoscopy scales. In thermal systems the role of corresponding coherent length is taken by the thermal de Broglie wavelength that also defines the size of a single emitter. The formalism of partially coherent phases in the amplitudes of closely located individual emitters is used for the quantitative analysis. The general approach is illustrated analytically for the case of the Gaussian approximation for emitting sources. A reduction of the interferometry radii and a suppression of the Bose-Einstein correlation functions for small sources due to the uncertainty principle are found. There is a positive correlation between the source size and the intercept of the correlation function. The peculiarities of the non-femtoscopic correlations caused by minijets and fluctuations of the initial states of the systems formed in $pp$ and $e^+e^-$ collisions are also analyzed. The factorization property for the contributions of femtoscopic and non-femtoscopic correlations into complete correlation function is observed in numerical calculations in a wide range of the model parameters.

The initial conditions are based on the Glauber Monte-Carlo simulations. When going from RHIC to LHC energy in the model, the only parameters changed are the normalization of the initial entropy defined by the number of all charged particles in most central collisions, contribution to entropy from binary collisions and baryonic chemical potential. The hydrokinetic model is used in its hybrid version (hHKM), which provides the correct match (at the isochronic hypersurface) of the decaying hadron matter evolution with hadronic ultrarelativistic quantum molecular dynamics cascade. The results are compared with the standard hybrid models where hydrodynamics and hadronic cascade are matching just at the non-space-like hypersurface of chemical freeze-out or on the isochronic hypersurface. The modification of the particle number ratios at LHC caused, in particular, by the particle annihilations at the afterburn stage is also analyzed.

Two-particle angular correlation for charged particles emitted in Au+Au collisions at the center-of-mass of 200 MeV measured at RHIC energies revealed novel structures commonly referred to as a near-side ridge. The ridge phenomenon in relativistic A+A collisions is rooted probably in the initial conditions of the thermal evolution of the system. In this study we analyze the evolution of the bum** transverse structure of the energy density distribution caused by fluctuations of the initial density distributions that could lead to the ridge structures. We suppose that at very initial stage of collisions the typical one-event structure of the initial energy density profile can be presented as the set of longitudinal tubes, which are boost-invariant in some space-rapidity region and are rather thin. These tubes have very high energy density comparing to smooth background density distribution. The transverse velocity and energy density profiles at different times of the evolution till the chemical freeze-out (at the temperature T=165 MeV) willbe reached by the system are calculated for sundry initial scenarios.

The hydrokinetic approach, that incorporates hydrodynamic expansion of the systems formed in A+A collisions and their dynamical decoupling, is applied to restore the initial conditions and space-time picture of the matter evolution in central Au+Au collisions at the top RHIC energy. The analysis is based on the detailed reproduction of the pion and kaon momentum spectra and femtoscopic data in whole interval of the transverse momenta studied by both STAR and PHENIX collaborations. The fitting procedure utilizes the two parameters: the maximal energy density at supposed thermalization time 1 fm/c and the strength of the pre-thermal flows developed to this time. The quark-gluon plasma and hadronic gas is supposed to be in complete local equilibrium above the chemical freeze-out temperature $T_{ch}$ = 165 MeV with the equation of states (EoS) at high temperatures as in the lattice QCD. Below $T_{ch}$ the EoS in the expanding and gradually decoupling fluid depends on the composition of the hadron-resonance gas at each space-time point and accounts for decays of resonances into the non-equilibrated medium. A good description of the pion and kaon transverse momentum spectra and interferometry radii is reached at both used initial energy density profiles motivated by the Glauber and Color Glass Condensate (CGC) models, however, at different initial energy densities. The discussion as for the approximate pion and kaon $m_T$-scaling for the interferometry radii is based on a comparison of the emission functions for these particles.

A simple approach is proposed allowing actual calculations of the preequilibrium dynamics in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions to be performed for a far-from-equilibrium initial state. The method is based on the phenomenological macroscopic equations that describe the relaxation dynamics of the energy-momentum tensor and are motivated by Boltzmann kinetics in the relaxation-time approximation. It gives the possibility to match smoothly a nonthermal initial state to the hydrodynamics of the quark gluon plasma. The model contains two parameters, the duration of the prehydrodynamic stage and the initial value of the relaxation-time parameter, and allows one to assess the energy-momentum tensor at a supposed time of initialization of the hydrodynamics.

The main mechanisms that lead to the paradoxical, at first sight, behavior of the interferometry scales, are exposed. In particular, a slow decrease and apparent saturation of $R_{out}/R_{side}$ ratio with an energy growth happens due to a strengthening of positive correlations between space and time positions of pions emitted at the radial periphery of the system. Such en effect is a consequence of a develo** of the pre-thermal collective transverse flows and an increase of the initial energy density in the fireball.

A good description of the hadron momentum spectra as well as pion and kaon interferometry data at RHIC is reached within the realistic dynamical picture of A+A collisions: HydroKinetic Model (HKM). The model accumulates the following features: not too early thermalization time; $τ\geq 1$ fm/c; a develo** of the pre-thermal transverse flows; the effectively more hard, than in the case of chemical equilibrium, equation of state of expanding chemically non-equilibrated multi-hadronic gas; a continuous non-equilibrated emission of hadrons. All these factors lead to a good description of the mentioned RHIC data, in particular, the observed $R_{out}/R_{side}$ ratios, solving, therefore, the HBT puzzle in detailed realistic model.

Abstract:
We analyze the transverse momentum distribution of $J/ψ$ mesons produced in Au + Au collisions at the top RHIC energy within a blast-wave model that accounts for a possible inhomogeneity of the charmonium distribution and/or flow fluctuations. The results imply that the transverse momentum spectra of$J/ψ$, $φ$ and $Ω$ hadrons measured at the RHIC can be described well if kinetic freeze-out take…

In this note we review our ideas, first published in year 2006, and corresponding results, including the new ones, which show that whereas the assumption of (partial) thermalization in relativistic A+A collisions is really crucial to explain soft physics observables, the hypotheses of {\it early} thermalization at times less than 1 fm/c is not necessary. The reason for the later conclusion is that the initial transverse flow in thermal matter as well as its anisotropy, leading to asymmetry of the transverse momentum spectra, could be developed at pre-thermal, either partonic or classical field - Glasma, stage with even more efficiency than in the case of very early perfect hydrodynamics. Such radial and elliptic flows develop no matter whether a pressure already established. The general reason for them is an essential finiteness of the system in transverse direction.

The problem of spectra formation in hydrodynamic approach to A+A collisions is considered within the Boltzmann equations. It is shown analytically and illustrated by numerical calculations that the particle momentum spectra can be presented in the Cooper-Frye form despite freeze-out is not sharp and has the finite temporal width. The latter is equal to the inverse of the particle collision rate at points $(t_σ({\bf r},p),{\bf r})$ of the maximal emission at a fixed momentum $p$. The set of these points forms the hypersurfaces $t_σ({\bf r},p)$ which strongly depend on the values of $p$ and typically do not enclose completely the initially dense matter. This is an important difference from the standard Cooper-Frye prescription (CFp), with a common freeze-out hypersurface for all $p$, that affects significantly the predicted spectra. Also, the well known problem of CFp as for negative contributions to the spectra from non-space-like parts of the freeze-out hypersurface is naturally eliminated in this improved prescription.

We develop a combined hydro-kinetic approach which incorporates a hydrodynamical expansion of the systems formed in \textit{A}+\textit{A} collisions and their dynamical decoupling described by escape probabilities. The method corresponds to a generalized relaxation time ($τ_{\text{rel}}$) approximation for the Boltzmann equation applied to inhomogeneous expanding systems; at small $τ_{\text{rel}}$ it also allows one to catch the viscous effects in hadronic component - hadron-resonance gas. We demonstrate how the approximation of sudden freeze-out can be obtained within this dynamical picture of continuous emission and find that hypersurfaces, corresponding to a sharp freeze-out limit, are momentum dependent. The pion $m_{T}$ spectra are computed in the developed hydro-kinetic model, and compared with those obtained from ideal hydrodynamics with the Cooper-Frye isothermal prescription. Our results indicate that there does not exist a universal freeze-out temperature for pions with different momenta, and support an earlier decoupling of higher $p_{T}$ particles. By performing numerical simulations for various initial conditions and equations of state we identify several characteristic features of the bulk QCD matter evolution preferred in view of the current analysis of heavy ion collisions at RHIC energies.

We present a second-order upwind numerical scheme for equations of relativistic hydrodynamics with a source term. A new non-linear Riemann solver is constructed. Solution of a Riemann problem on a cells boundary is based on exact relations in case of zero tangential velocities. In this sense our solver is "exact". Solution of a Riemann problem on a cells boundary is based on exact relations in case of zero tangential velocities. In this sense our solver is "exact". In case of non-zero tangential velocities a reasonable approximation is made that allows to avoid solution of very complicated exact equations. The scheme is tested on several one- and three-dimensional solutions demonstrating a good performance for both strong shocks and strong rarefactions.

We have developed a fast Monte Carlo procedure of hadron generation allowing one to study and analyze various observables for stable hadrons and hadron resonances produced in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions. Particle multiplicities are determined based on the concept of chemical freeze-out. Particles can be generated on the chemical or thermal freeze-out hypersurface represented by a parameterization or a numerical solution of relativistic hydrodynamics with given initial conditions and equation of state. Besides standard space-like sectors associated with the volume decay, the hypersurface may also include non-space-like sectors related to the emission from the surface of expanding system. For comparison with other models and experimental data we demonstrate the results based on the standard parameterizations of the hadron freeze-out hypersurface and flow velocity profile under the assumption of a common chemical and thermal freeze-out.
