Nodal line semimetals represent precursor states for various topological phases, exhibiting intrinsic topological characteristics and intriguing properties. These materials host rare and distinctive topological features, which can give rise to exotic phenomena, thereby garnering significant attention in both fundamental research and technological applications. In this study, we conduct ab-initio calculations to explore the properties of SrCaX (X = Bi, Sb, As, P), identifying these as multiple Dirac nodal line semimetals protected by Z2 quantized Berry phases and manifesting multiple drum-head-like surface states. The nodal lines in these compounds are situated at the M point when kz = 0 and at the A point when kz = π. Notably, SrCaX family exhibits a unique characteristic wherein they host both type II Dirac point and topological nodal line semimetal within a single crystal structure, hence providing an excellent platform for studying the interplay between different topological properties. Additionally, in SrCaP topological Dirac semimetal, Type II Dirac point and topological nodal line semimetal features coexist in a single crystal. These special features in this series of materials make them ideal candidates for further investigation by experimental means.

We present a theoretical investigation on the pressure-induced emergence of Dirac semimetallic properties in the XCdP (X = Na, K) materials, employing first-principles calculations. Dirac semimetals, characterized by linear dispersion relations in their electronic band structures, have gained prominence due to their unique topological features and potential applications in electronic devices. Through systematic calculations, we explore the electronic structure evolution of NaCdP and KCdP under varying pressure conditions. Our findings reveal a compelling transition to a Dirac semimetallic state in both NaCdP and KCdP under applied pressure. The electronic band structures exhibit distinct Dirac cones at the Fermi level, indicating the presence of massless Dirac fermions. Moreover, the pressure-induced Dirac semi-metallic phase in these compounds are found to be robust, and are protected by crystal symmetry. We provide a comprehensive analysis of the bandgap, Fermi surface, and other relevant electronic properties, offering insights into the pressure-driven phase transition in NaCdP and KCdP. The tunability of these materials under external pressure suggests their potential utility in next-generation electronic devices and quantum technologies.

Abstract:
We present a FORTRAN 77 code for evaluation of resonance pole positions and residues of a numerical scattering matrix element in the complex energy (CE) as well as in the complex angular momentum (CAM) planes. Analytical continuation of the S-matrix element is performed by constructing a type-II Padé approximant from given physical values [Bessis et al (1994); Vrinceanu et al (2000); Sokolovski an…

We present a FORTRAN 77 code for evaluation of resonance pole positions and residues of a numerical scattering matrix element in the complex energy (CE) as well as in the complex angular momentum (CAM) planes. Analytical continuation of the S-matrix element is performed by constructing a type-II Padé approximant from given physical values [Bessis et al (1994); Vrinceanu et al (2000); Sokolovski and Msezane (2004)] . The algorithm involves iterative "preconditioning" of the numerical data by extracting its rapidly oscillating potential phase component. The code has the capability of adding non-analytical noise to the numerical data in order to select "true" physical poles, investigate their stability and evaluate the accuracy of the reconstruction. It has an option of employing multiple-precision (MPFUN) package [Bailey (1993)] developed by D. H. Bailey wherever double precision calculations fail due to a large number of input partial wave (energies) involved. The package has been successfully tested on several models, as well as theF+H2->HF+H,F+HD->HF +D,Cl+HCl->ClH+Cl and H+D2->HD+D reactions. Some detailed examples are given in the text. The current manuscript highlights the preparation of NiFe2O4 nanoparticles by adopting sol-gel auto combustion route. The prime focus of this study is to investigate the impact of gamma irradiation on the microstructural, morphological, functional, optical and magnetic characteristics. The resulted NiFe2O4 products have been characterized employing numerous instrumental equipments such as FESEM, XRD, UV visible spectroscopy, FTIR and PPMS for a variety of gamma ray doses (0 kGy, 25 kGy and 100 kGy). FESEM micrographs illustrate the aggregation of ferrite nanoparticles in pristine NiFe2O4 product having an average particle size of 168 nm and the surface morphology is altered after exposure to gamma-irradiation. XRD spectra have been analyzed employing Rietveld method and the results of the XRD investigation reveal the desired phases (cubic spinel phases) of NiFe2O4 with observing other transitional phases. Several microstructural parameters such as bond length, bond angle, hop** length etc. have been determined from the analysis of Rietveld method. This study reports that the gamma irradiations demonstrate a great influence on optical bandgap energy and it varies from 1.80 and 1.89 eV evaluated via K M function. FTIR measurement depicts a proof for the persistence of Ni-O and Fe-O stretching vibrations within the respective products and thus indicating the successful development of NiFe2O4. The saturation magnetization (MS) of pristine Ni ferrite product is noticed to be 28.08 emug-1. A considerable increase in MS is observed in case of low gamma-dose (25 kGy) and a decrement nature is disclosed after the result of high dose of gamma irradiation (100kGy).
